I recently enjoyed a truly memorable meal at this restaurant, where both the food and the service were top-notch. From the moment we were seated, the staff provided excellent service, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our dining experience. We began our meal with the Tuna Tartare and French Onion Soup. The Tuna Tartare was incredibly fresh and beautifully seasoned, with a delightful combination of flavors and textures. It was the perfect light and refreshing start to the meal. The French Onion Soup was equally impressive, with a rich, flavorful broth and caramelized onions topped with a generous layer of melted cheese that made each bite comforting and satisfying. For the main course, we indulged in the Porterhouse Steak paired with a Burrata Salad. The steak was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The balance between the strip and tenderloin was spot-on, giving us a range of textures and richness in every bite. The Burrata Salad was an ideal accompaniment, with the creamy burrata adding a fresh, light contrast to the richness of the steak. Overall, the entire dining experience was excellent. The combination of incredible service and expertly prepared dishes made for a perfect evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high-quality food and outstanding hospitality.

I cannot say enough about the Chatham Cut. This was our first experience dining there and I was absolutely blown away. The service was impeccable. We had our two year old there and the server, Dimi, was so sweet to her. The food was top notch. We LOVED the tuna tartar. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the creamy horseradish sauce and mushrooms. We will 100% be back again. Thanks for everything ♥️

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Chatham Cut. The service was impeccable and they really went above and beyond to make our honeymoon dinner a truly memorable event. The drinks were top notch. For food, we got french onion soup as an appetizer and it was so good. I got the ribeye and my wife got the prime rib. Both were spot on and cooked perfectly to our liking. We had delicious desert drinks to compliment the cannoli desert and gelato - all of it was superb. Hands down one of the best meals we have ever had - will return the next time we are in the Cape!

Treat yourself to a lovely dinner at Chatham Cuts! The service was excellent from the moment we were greeted by the host to the moment we left. We were celebrating our brand new engagement and our server DeeDee was impeccable! She went above and beyond to give us a meal to remember including offering to take photos of us to commemorate the occasion! The restaurant treated us to a few complimentary delights which really made the experience feel super luxurious and as though they were celebrating with us. It was a really nice touch. With an impressive wine list, delicious array of dining options and a great ambiance made perfect by mood lighting; this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a top quality meal. Bravo to Chatham Cuts! We can’t wait to be back!

Everything was great, our server was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was fantastic. The tomahawk for two was cooked perfect with a char on the out side and medium on the inside Very glad to see a new steak restaurant in this area

This is what steak is meant to taste like. So tender, it cut like butter. Seared perfectly and so flavorful. The side dishes were also cooked to perfection. The rolls were so good I wanted to stuff more in my purse to take home. The host makes you feel right at home. This is a "must eat" when on the Cape.

Easily the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Table of 2 we sat before our 6:15pm reservation. Instantly greeted with a smiling face. Our server was the best. Filet’s were cooked perfectly. Drinks were a 10/10. Will be back for sure.

Surprised my boyfriend with dinner here for his birthday. Everything was incredible! Dimi, our waitress, was phenomenal, and extremely helpful. From our drinks, to our appetizer (the prime rib French dip sliders🤤), to his 18oz ribeye and my teriyaki filet tips… everything was outstanding! Absolutely worth every penny! I cannot wait to bring friends and family here in the future.

Best steakhouse the Cape has to offer. I had the beef carpaccio and the flavors of the tender beef, arugula, capers, and aioli burst together with every bite. For dinner I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection, the most perfect sear and melted in my mouth. I had no room but couldn't say no to dessert, the pistachio cheesecake was out of this world. creamy, smooth, fresh. Go thirsty..their wine and spirits list is beyond impressive and Lauren whips up some of the best tasting cocktails you'll ever have. Not sure what to drink, she has amazing recommendations. The atmosphere is inviting and romantic, no detail left untouched. So happy to have this amazing addition in Chatham. Can't wait to go back. The service was amazing and attentive. The staff was very kind and helpful. They had amazing recommendations and suggestions.

Very nice eatery! Can be casual or dressy, but definitely worth stopping by. Our waiter Eileen (I hope I wrote it the right way) was outstanding! Very fresh ingredients too. Was ups recommend

Loved our table for two by window. Good service, excellent food. Lobster pasta dish was delicious. Pistachio cheese cake with espresso coffee for dessert was yummy. It’s a little loud but we like the vibe. We will sit at bar next time

A great steakhouse on the Cape. As a self-proclaimed crab cake snob..the appetizer was good and served all 4 of us! We had delicious beef and other entrées.

Me and my wife shared our 15th anniversary at the Chatham Cut and could not be happier with the experience. The food was amazing, however, Lauren made the night. She was awesome and tended to us on our anniversary like we were royalty. I recommend the food and recommend asking for Lauren!

This place has made significant changes since we last dined here 8 month ago, ALL for the better. The food is better, the menu is better, the noise level is better, and the prices are better. The last time we were here, they had two bartenders servicing the 10-seat bar and the entire restaurant. Now, there is only one. Lauren does the best job she can, but she is clearly over-worked.

A sreak and fish mecca. My wife had the halibut and it was delicious. I'm a vegetarian and the host went out of his way to have something prepared especially for me. The wait staff is very friendly and will do anything to make your visit a delight.

Can’t say enough about the wonderful experience here! Celebrated my dads 87th birthday., and want to thank you for making his day ( and ours) so special. Our waitress Dimi gave top notch service. VERY attentive! The food was excellent! Matt was extremely welcoming , and helpful - again so attentive ! the swordfish was delicious, the petit filet mignon literally melted in my mouth, the side of roasted Brussels sprouts was absolutely delicious , and the dessert platter …all of it... Heaven… it was truly a wonderful experience… definitely going back!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Lauren was awesome. We had a party of eight and she fit us in even though they were booked. I highly recommend this fantastic place on the Cape. They have something for everyone. They really entertained are five-year-old, which made the meal a whole lot better.

The Chatham Cut was a very nice diversion from eating the local seafood, which was very good. I had an excellent filet at the Cut which was cooked to perfection! The salad was also very good. It’s a new restaurant but one which fills a void in the area. Highly recommend!

Don’t let the outside deceive you. The service and food were amazing and a nice variety of choices and prices. Highly recommend the jumbo crab cake, filet mignon, crusted salmon and chowder. We came here for the first time because our favorite go to was closed. We will for sure be back. One of our new favorites. Great atmosphere/ambiance inside. Classy.

Excellent service. Steak and prime rib were delicious. Accommodating to our group of seven. When creamed spinach was served with Parmesan and one in our party commented about intolerance to Parmesan, without requesting it the waiter appeared with another dish without the cheese. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The evening was excellent, superb atmosphere, the restaurant has a speakeasy feel. We selected and opened a bottle of wine, main course was over the top. Very fun and experienced weight service. They added all the little extras, The filet came with all the sauces not just one of your choice. And they brought out some homemade lemon cello at the end. Dessert was decadent! Come one come all, don't skimp and don't skip this gem! If you don't ask for Lauren you will miss out on the best part of the cut!

Hubby and I came in for our anniversary dinner. LOVED the staff and food was great! Matt the host was incredibly kind and helpful, as was our server! Very impressed with the cocktails and creativity with culinary combinations and plating technique. Definitely a gem 💎 of Chatham! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outstanding! Our server, Elena S. Was fabulous! I wanted prime rib and the way I wanted to have it cooked she suggested an end cut and it was outstanding! My husband had the petite sirloin, he loved it. The thoughtful complimentary glass of champagne, to celebrate our anniversary to the lemon cello after dinner just completed a wonderful dining experience.

We ordered takeout and I can tell you that everything was perfect. The Caesar salad was fresh and the dressing (which was on the side) plentiful and delicious. The ribeye was medium rare as I ordered it, still hot when we got home and the horseradish sauce on the side was delicious. We had sides of Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and both were hot and so tasty. Finally we decided to treat ourselves with a key lime cheese cake. So good. I’m so pleased with this meal and we’ll be back.

This place was amazing!! A friend recommended for my Anniversary. The staff was amazing!! They greeted us with champagne and had bar seats reserved for us because we love bar seats. The two bartenders were amazing and the food was fantastic. Definitely a new favorite in the area!! Made us feel special. ❤️😊

Our server was excellent but the steak (signature dish) was just ok. Excellent piece of meat but the preparation was short of the mark to get a higher rating.

It was a very good try at being a NY Steak house. Split the prime rib with my wife. Huge and perfectly cooked medium rare. Ceaser salad was pretty good, and when I asked for anchovies, they brought a bunch of white ones (fancy and expensive compared to the usual canned). It was a big plus for me as a real anchovie lover. Prices were up there but not through the roof. A very good Cape Cod non-seafood meal.

Good food, great wine and excellent service. Our only disappointment was confusion around reservations at the bar. We were told last time to just call ahead. This time we tried that and were told bar seats are on a first come basis. When we arrived there were 4 seats at the bar with reserved signs. What is the policy?

J

Elite service from the moment we walked in. Helen, our server, was a rock star. She was personable and kind. Food?? Awesome!!! Ribeye and jumbo shrimp scampi were **chefs kiss**. A hidden gem. Definitely added to our cape expeditions.

We come here often while on vacation in Chatham. The Chicken Milanese is always delicious crispy, tender, and flavorful. The atmosphere doesn’t really feel too much like Chatham, but the food makes it worth the visit.

Quality of ingredients good. Filet not seasoned with any salt. Peppercorn demi glaze no trace of pepper

The Chatham Cut is an incredibly overrated restaurant. Food is mediocre at best. Calamari is bland, truly lacked any sort of flavor. Chopped salad was very good with a nice flavorful dressing. The petite filet also very good, although we ordered without the garlic glove. Carrots very overdone and like mush. Tuna tartar not good - do not order! Now let’s talk about service. Terrible waitress, kept disappearing for lengthy period of time. We relied on a young lady who said she bussed tables. We made sure she received a generous cash tip as she could not have been more helpful and accommodating. This was our first visit (and last) for someone’s 83 birthday. We made sure to let them know we had a very special birthday when we made the reservation a month ago. Upon arrival we also told the supposed manager. We then told our waitress twice we needed a dessert with a candle. All this before we even ordered a drink as we sat down. We went through the terrible service and mediocre food and ordered a couple of desserts. We again asked for a candle to celebrate. All of the requests and reminders, went completely ignored. No candle, no nothing. When the desserts arrived without any sort of recognition of a birthday or a candle, we asked our waitress for candle. She said ‘oh’ then turned around and left. 30 minutes later, still no candle. After all this, we asked for the check, paid and left. There are far better restaurants in Chatham that deliver much better service and far superior food than The Chatham Cut. CBI,Viera, and Del Mar are much better choices than The Chatham Cut. Sadly, an incredibly disappointing experience.

Made reservation thru Open Table 4 weeks ago for wedding anniversary and wife’s birthday in October. We were very excited as this restaurant opened end of August. The place is small with just 20 tables and 10 seats at the bar with 3 pub tables in bar area as well. The room has very high energy and extremely loud when filled. Tables are Very close together. The good and the bad. The bread basket came out with breadsticks, cranberry and a French country style bread which was very good. They forgot to bring any butter and the busser had to go back and brought it out later. The server we had was not on top of her game. In ordering cocktails, she got confused with the order and repeated the two drinks 3 times. For an upscale restaurant I could not believe there were no table cloths on the tables. To begin, we started with the Charcuterie board and it was excellent. Great meats, cheeses, olives, stuffed peppers, pickled veggies and wafer crackers that went with the dish very well. The raw bar they offer is pricey. 3 shrimp for $18, tuna crude for $20 and a seafood tower for $180.00. Salads run from $14 for a garden salad to $18 for a burrata salad which many ordered but split. There are several pasta dishes ordered from penne primavera at $24 to a Zuppa Di Pesce for $54. My wife ordered the Veal Chop Milanese which was $70 online but $59 on the menu. I ordered the prime rib med rare end cut and it came as ordered. Sides of au jus and creamy horseradish accompanied the dish with mashed potatoes. My wife’s veal chop dish came with arugula salad. The chop was butterflied that would make sense but the problem was, the side that the chop itself was on was raw and the other side was dry and overdone. Steaks at this restaurant run $35 for a petite filet up to $150 for the Tomahawk which serves 2 people. The majority of the steaks run on average approximately $70with no sides. Seafood dishes run about $50. And the sides are $14 whether you order a vegetable or potato dish. The star of the restaurant is the wine list which is excellent but be ready to mortgage your home…nothing here is cheap but they are attempting to be a high end Boston restaurant on the Cape. The problem is, the restaurant does not have the wait staff, decor and class to pull these prices off. There is a dessert menu and we split a crème brûlée. No candle or anything in dessert when it arrived for my wife’s bday…things like that miss the mark which would not happen in Boston or if someone was reading the Open Table reservations more carefully. If you are truly looking for a fine dining place, this is missing the mark right now but will hopefully get there. With just 2 servers and 2 bussers, for a Saturday night, service was definitely off the mark. Hopefully this will improve in time, especially before the summer crowd returns. Will not be in any rush to return as there are other fine dining establishments on Cape that provide an amazing experience, with great service, food, and tablecloths, for half the price.

Drinks were good, Caesar Salad was good , the Filet was nothing special. The best part of the meal was the French fries. The atmosphere is not at all appealing, it is so loud you can’t even have a conversation nor can you hear your server. The wait staff was wonderful but this restaurant is way overpriced for the food they serve and unfortunately the atmosphere is there to stay.

We had dinner at The Chatham Cut last night and, unfortunately, was left disappointed by the food. However, I’ll start by saying that the atmosphere and space inside was quite nice, very well appointed, clean and inviting, harkening a NY style supper club vibe. The hospitality and service were exceptional, truly an inviting and warm experience, with attentive staff and expertly mixed cocktails. It was clear that the front-of-house team was top-notch, but sadly, the food didn’t quite match the high standard set by the service. My dining partner began with the French Onion Soup, which looked inviting and tasted good, though she did find the cheese to be a bit overwhelming (if that’s even possible). For her main, she ordered the “Jumbo Lump Crab Cake,” which was a disappointment. There was little to no discernible crab, just pureed meat that lacked the succulent chunks you’d expect from a dish like this. It wasn’t particularly flavorful and didn’t deliver the savory seafood punch one might hope for. She ended up leaving half of it on the plate. I opted for the Teriyaki Steak Tips, served with Scallion Rice and Broccoli. While the steak tips were cooked nicely, the dish as a whole was lacking. The presentation was minimal and uninspired, just a few items placed onto the plate. The teriyaki flavor was almost nonexistent, and I felt it could have been greatly enhanced with a flavorful demi-glace to tie everything together. The rice was labeled “scallion rice,” but there wasn’t a hint of scallion in sight, just plain white rice with no seasoning to speak of besides a few specs of green leafy substances. And lastly the broccoli, yup it was broccoli, but it pretty much stopped there. It was steamed properly and served a vibrant green, but not a hint of flavor, perhaps a show of solidarity as to not show up his neighbor the bland rice. There was no effort made to elevate these components. In the end, the food was forgettable, though the service certainly shined. It’s a shame, because with a little more attention to the flavors and presentation, it could have been a much more balanced experience.

The person who listed as disappointed, I totally agree. First you have to give your credit card to hold reservation...so I requested special seating at 5pm when they open, not a sole in the place and told I can't be accommodated!!!! So my husband and I sit at the bar. I think this place used to be fast food joint because space and atmosphere horrible..just because they painted interior black and added a bar..doesn't mean it's trendy or cool.. It'd just a zero ...now the food quality is obviously good but not and I repeat NOT worth the 75.00 for N Y strip and loaded baked. The kitchen go t my soup wrong, no steak sauce and cream spinach was served cold! The only thing that was worthwhile was the bar tender who was super pleasant and made fantastic drink. In fact she was the only person working...everyone else including the second bar tender were just standing around. Sorry not going back...I rather head to Boston if I need that steakhouse experience @

Haddock with risotto was very bland. It was a thin cut of fish. Steak tips very good, chowder good but a TON of potatoes. Bar manager is extremely knowledgeable & very friendly. Wish I had ordered the steak sliders. They looked incredible - the couple we sat next to at the bar said they were excellent.

My wife & I went here last week to try it out before our youngest son comes to the Cape with his 6 college friends. We sat at the bar & we were quickly served by a very friendly bartender. The drnks, the meatballs, the ceasar salad were very good & so was the half chicken dish that i ordered as a main course. However, my wife's ribeye was not good. We can tell that it was a piece that had been vacuum pack/frozen & it was also very gammy. Other than our disappointment with the stake, our experience was mostly positive thanks to that very friendly bartender. If we come back, I don't think we will order any of the stakes cuts.

V
Valerie Anderson

The rib eye steak was rather tough and not juicy. Clams linguini had no flavor rather watery. But my cocktail and our appetizers were delicious.service was great and very friendly. Cool ambiance.

M
Matthew

What a disappointment. Service was very slow and sloppy, nice guys but slow. I had the chop salad, not good. French onion soup was mediocre. I ordered shrimp scampi, it was ok. My son Ordered a $68 steak, cooked perfect but not great steak. Overall service was slow , food not good, expensive, I won’t be back.

K
Kimberly

This is not a steak and chop house. Forgot all the sides for lobster dish. Steak was plain and over done. Alberto the waiter and wine sommelier was good. Caesar salad was good. Spent $600 on a dinner worth 1/3 of that. I hope they work out the kinks but the atmosphere can’t be improved upon.

R
Residualdetriment

$70 for a 14 oz. strip? What a joke. This is your typical smoke and mirrors restaurant. All presentation to deceive the easily deceived. I see several reviews criticizing the ribeye, it's almost impossible to find a poor ribeye. Not sure why people allow themselves to be taken advantage of with this industry. The restaurant industry has become one of the greediest industries in existence. These supposed atmospheric restaurants are using the same quality food that chain restaurants are, stop falling for the facade.
