Our waiter Fred was very professional, polite and tended to our needs. The manager Kelly was friendly and suggested other dishes to try next time. She has a real passion and it shows. The decor is warm and inviting. Very VERY clean! The food was outstanding! We ordered a risotto appetizer and it was busting with flavor! Was not dry, had plenty of mushrooms. The entrees were loaded and presented extremely well. All around fantastic experience and we can’t wait to come back!
We wanted to try something new and had always seen Brio but never stopped in before. Our server was wonderful! We chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, and the outdoor decorations were so pretty I couldn’t resist taking pictures. I ordered the steak medallions and my friend had the chicken Marsala — both dishes were delicious. Highly recommend!
We went here on a whim because it was close. I'd never been before. I was mildly impressed! The place looks great inside, spacious, you dont feel crammed togther, lots of booths (I like booths). Our server was great; knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The food was very good! Cool indoor/outdoor bar and outside patio. I'd definitely recommend and go back.
Always a great time here at Brio! Love their happy hour. Carpaccio and burgers are the best! Drinks are good. Kam is awesome and very friendly. Definitely has been my go to spot for quick bites and drinks!
OMG!!! This was the BEST lunch visit EVER!!! The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY, VERY HELPFUL, EXCITED for our visit and the food were ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THIS WORLD 🌎 DELICIOUS!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Our waitress, Stathia, was absolute delight to serve us 🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩! She was very friendly, had the biggest beautiful smile, checked on us to make sure if we were enjoying our meal and had no problem when asked to take a group photo of us! I happen to meet Fred doing his job setting us Brio’s outside dining area and he excitedly chatted with me when I asked how long have you been working here. He proudly told me, told me he was promoted into a different position, had the biggest smile and let me interview him 🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!! Then our day got even better when Brio’s General Manager, Grace, graced us with her presence at our table 🤗🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩! Grace was the BEST General Manager EVER!! She spent a few minutes talking to us, personally served us amazing and delicious desserts! She too had a big beautiful smile, super friendly and thanked us for our visit. KUDOS Grace, Stathia, Fred and staff on a superb job well done!!! YES!!! I do recommend Brio’s Tuscan Grille to my family, friends and, NOW, the World 🌎 too!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Excellent service , the food was awesome and the atmosphere in the private room was perfect for a setting for a celebration of life. We had 30 family members in the private dining room with family style Italian dinner. Shannon, the executive chef checked on our room several times to make sure everything was perfect. I definitely recommend the staff was attentive to our every need. The food was delicious hot and everyone was happy.
This food is 5 star and yet the atmosphere is very relaxed. It's an awesome combo for eating out. We had the flatbread, lobster bisque, chopped salads, shrimp n scallop risotto and salmon. Everything was fantastic.. This will def be a date night thing.
Amazing food and amazing waitress was very attentive on a Wednesday night server was candy I believe very great atmosphere
I came here is part of a group for a business luncheon. They did a great job keeping us fed for a multi course meal. The food came out fresh and delicious! My favorite was the smoked salmon and asparagus. I love the surroundings and the atmosphere in the multi themed rooms.
A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. There is plenty of seating indoors with some outdoor seating as well. They have a fully stocked bar as well as private dinner rooms for reservation. Located conveniently near many other shops and restaurants and not to far from the Cherry Hill Mall.
All the food was prepared and presented well. I really enjoyed the eggplant app with shrimp. Will definitely revisit. The Flatbread and the calamari were a hit too!
Overall an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I sat on the patio outside to enjoy the beautiful night. Service was some of the best I’ve ever received thank you to Liz and Xavier they made the experience so much better and enjoyable!!!! 10/10 will definitely come back again.
Food was exceptional, Danielle was an amazing server who took great care with my allergies. Chef Johnny was helpful in speaking to me about my restrictions and delivering a phenomenal meal. Will be coming back.
My compliments to the Chef! My wife and I had questions about the menu because of allergies. Chef Johnny came to talk to us and made sure we were taking care of! He’s the man!!
Valentine’s Day was amazing. They had a pianist playing amazing romantic songs and we got flowers when we first arrived. Definitely will come back, our waiter Fred was the best! Ask for Fred!
Absolutely fantastic experience at Brio! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious — every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The best part of the evening, though, was the live music! It was such a pleasant surprise and really elevated the whole dining experience. The band created such an upbeat and enjoyable vibe that made our meal even more memorable. You normally would expect the same old pianist playing background music or worry the band might be too noisy for conversation. Not the case here! I don’t know where Brio found this band but it’s great to see they care to keep things fresh for their clientele. I can’t wait to come back — next time I’m definitely bringing my girl friends so they can enjoy it too. Highly recommend Brio for anyone looking for great food, great service, and an unexpectedly wonderful night out!
Went to the bar today with my wife. The food & drinks were amazing (carpaccio, calamari) and the dirty martinis made by Kam were the best I've ever had. Kam made our experience 10/10!
Always love visiting this location! The team is always kind and attentive. They are also incredibly mindful when it comes to food allergies ( I have several!). My go-to is always the Salmon Fresca with a Shirley Temple or one of their salads! Their Sous Chef, Johnny was also kind to ensure my allergies were kept in mind and gave wonderful recommendations of food options whenever I wanted to try something new! Thank you Brio team!
Drinks were made very tasty by Kam! Her attention to every single detail was even more impressive. She is the best, will be back to see her
Food was fantastic, service was amazing, but the best part was our server, Grace. She was genuinely so kind and went above and beyond with her job. We plan on coming back just to see Grace!
New to the area. Young man named Johnny I believe helped me pick my order and my drinks! Will be back! Ended up getting the brunch burger but he recommend next time I try the Steak and Eggs. Ate too fast to even get good pictures. Nice little place near my new office.
Cam, the bar attended was fabulous 👌. She really go above in her duty. She is very pleasant, love to engage. It was a pleasure to take the time to write this.
Love going to Brio! The service is always excellent every time I go and the people are always so welcoming and kind. Grace is very sweet and accommodating and the bartender Liz is my favorite!! she’s very funny and charismatic. She is always very fast and gives great service.
I’ve been going here for 4+years so this review is long overdue. This is a weekly go-to staple in my life. The secret sauce/hidden gem is the bartender, Kam. Quick-witted, efficient, friendly, and professional, every pour is precisely accurate and accompanied with either wit or wisdom and a smile. The food has been exceptional every visit with my favorites being the Pasta Brio or the Chicken Milanese. Regardless of what you choose I cannot remember a single bad bite over the years. The temperature, texture, and taste this kitchen delivers is one of the best in the area as far as Italian cuisine goes. When you arrive the atmosphere is best described as “comfort” matching the food. Marble, leather, and an open glassed view of the kitchen in the back lead to an inviting atmosphere. The music, a pleasant mix of pop/classics or the seasonal mix, is played at an appropriate volume that allows conversation to flow easily enough amongst a moderately sized party without disturbing the other diners. Finally the pricing of their selections ranges from reasonable to a few week placed gems. If you enjoy a good red the Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon has almost no markup by the bottle. Specials every week like wine Wednesday, a robust happy hour selection, and affordable “pronto” lunch round out the value. So if you’re a fan of good Italian food, affordable options, great service, and a top-rate mixologist in Kam you can do a lot worse than Brios-Cherry Hill, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find much better.
Outstanding experience thanks to Chef Johnny Had an incredible meal at BRIO Italian Grille, and a huge part of that was Chef Johnny. You can truly taste the care and passion he puts into every dish. Everything came out perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Chef Johnny clearly knows how to balance classic Italian flavors while keeping everything fresh and elevated. The consistency, attention to detail, and overall quality made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had at Brio. If you’re dining here, you’re in great hands with Chef Johnny in the kitchen. I can’t wait to come back.
The food was good, the margharita flatbread pizza was a little too thin. The shrimp risotto was great and the dessert was amazing. Our waiter, Marcus was accommodating and provided quick service. Definitely will return! This place gets overshadowed by the Cheesecake Factory, so the parking may be crowded.
I hosted a baby shower in the banquet room. The menu, and event space Brio offered was affordable and met the expectations of all grandparents to be. Noah our event manager was very patient and accommodating. The 2 waiters assigned were on top of all services with positivity. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the disconnect between what I was told by the event manager during the tour. Information given at that time was the final decision to choosing this place. All planning and decisions were made upon those accommodating given. Only to be informed the morning before those options were no longer available, upon arrival the room I agree upon wasn't the room I was given either.
The atmosphere is great. The lighting and the table was great. The food for the prices is a go. The salad could have been the entire entree because its huge . The server was nice and had help that was nice One thing I did not like is that in middle of October they keep the door open which keeps the restaurant too cold. When I asked to close it they didn't
A very beautiful restaurant and we had great service. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was good but it seems very processed and not made from fresh food. The cocktails were very inventive and good and the wine selection was very nice.
The service and food were alright. My main issue is the bread. They used to have such heavenly bread. I hope this bread change isnt permanent. This place literally used to be on my bread tour. I loved their bread so much they used to have nice rolls that were so fresh and puffy and served with oil. Now they have a dry, hard, reheated end of a loaf thats just utterly depressing. Also its now served with hard fridgerated individually wrapped butter pads that are just the opposite of a cherry on top. I really hope this isnt a permanent change. Brio if u are listening please, bring back the good bread that you used to have😩
The food is OK not that special but the service is good. The shrimp and scallop risotto had some kind of tangy flavor that you would not see in Italy. Appetizers were lackluster. Overall value for what you get is lacking.
Service when you walk in = zero. People have their backs to the crowd which is bizarre at best, not even sure if one of them was a hostess. If I didn’t interrupt, I never would’ve gotten seated. Food was OK at best, pasta with chicken and vegetables. Slightly more variety than at an Olive Garden. Even the desert had very little flavor. Waitress was timely, but did not smile once. I know it’s normal for New Jersey, but it would be nice to be surprised with a smile once in a while. I will say that the best part of the restaurant is the ambience / lighting.
Dinner for 4. Service was good. Food was just ok. Everything was a little too salty. The fried calamari were overdone. Pork chops were a bit dry. Lobster bisque was probably pre-made. Best bite may have been the garlic mashed potatoes. For the cost, there are much better options for Italian in this area.
Very nice place, the waiter was very pleasant. I had a good time at this restaurant. The menu is very limited., they Need to put more items on the menu
7pm reservation...served food close to 9pm. While we had drinks which were good and waitress polite, personable and kept us informed...this wait was NOT OKAY!! Food came hot and was very good....the wait really messed up my thoughts of returning. The "Capri Sunset Mule" drink was oh so good!!
Went here for dinner. The food was okay. My fiance didn't like the lasagna. My son liked his - he got the shrimp and lobster fettuccine. Mine was just okay-got the grilled salmon Fresca. Service was terrible from the minute we walked in the door. The host had an attitude and was not friendly, polite, or anything a host should be. Our server was a little better. Didn't say her name and forgot my salad to go. Not somewhere I would choose for dinner again.
food was very good but the wait staff was inattentive to say the least. we had to set our own table with silverware because they didnt seat us with four settings despite having a reservation for as much. Meager serving of bread and I had to flag down the waiter for every step of the dining process. A pale comparison to their other locations and I noticed more people on their phones or chatting than helping.
Monday evening 7pm. Walked in behind a mom & daughter and went to the bar since I was only one. Sat at a bar table for literally 12-15 minutes and not one wait staff came by. It wasn’t crowded. Bar tender was MIA. Got up and left. It’s been a few years since going to a Brio…gonna be a few more after this. Went down the street to a local Italian place instead.
Staff was pleasant. Service was efficient. Food was not great!! I had the chicken and spinach Alfredo.. it was bland and the pasta was overcooked. Honestly, it reminded me of lean cuisine chicken Alfredo.. i was really disappointed.
We used to go to Brio all of the time, then after covid it was different. We hadn't been in a while so figured we'd try again. The place was empty, maybe like 3 other tables when we were sat. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come over, then over 10 minutes for drinks to be brought. After dropping drinks the server just walked away instead of taking our orders. Then it was another 10ish minutes before they came back and took our order. Food was mediocre at best. Wedge salads were half wasted because half of the lettuce was brown. Shrimp and mushroom risotto was decent. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken had zero flavor. The music playing was not fitting to the resturants atmosphere. Just an overall less than mediocre experience.
I have been to brio with my family multiple times over the course of the last few years and have NEVER had an issue until tonight. Service was horrendous, our server Briseylda L was barely present. There were zero check backs after the food was presented until the end where she asked us if we were "ready for the check". When given the check our server came up to us less than 5 minutes later asking us if we were "ready with the check" while we had it open and were looking at the bill. These were the only two questions asked since we had received our entrees. As someone who has worked in the food industry for many years now, i am disappointed in what little service we received tonight. And with such a hefty bill you would assume to get top tier service because youre paying for it. And of course the actual manager was not available and whoever did listen to our concerns was not able to do anything to rectify our negative experience. I will be telling my family and my friends to really consider if the price is worth the service next time they plan a banquet dinner. Very sad and disappointing!
I will say, when we looked at the menu before coming in, we knew it was expensive even for Cherry Hill. $65 steaks on the specials menu, $20-$40 apps, and expensive drinks. Our server was a young girl who not only took 10 min to bring water after asking (drinks came after appetizer) but she didn’t even know what craft beer was when the menu said to ask the server. Calamari was decent though. My gf got a martini priced at $20 and swapped the grey goose for ketel one, and they added $11 onto the check for no reason which after asking about was removed. 7:45pm and as she came back to ask if we wanted entrees she told us kitchen was “out of bread for the table” - yeah we asked for the check and left. If you’re in cherry hill looking to have an amazing Italian meal, go to Maggianos for better service. Might have just been the waitress though but I’m not chancing that again.
This place must have changed after covid. I DoorDash ordered Alfredo fettuccine with chicken and a tossed salad. Literally disgusting. I am one hundred percent sure the Alfredo was not homemade but from a jar. You can just taste it! the salad was also gross you can tell by looking at it that the lettuce was old and even the bread was hard as a rock. $40 for this. Olive Garden makes better pasta than that for a fraction of the price. Never again.
I used to love Brio in Cherry Hill, NJ. But unfortunately my past 2 food pick-ups has been horrible. 1st one 3 weeks ago - I ordered 2 salads a Caesar salad for my daughter and a Chopped salad for me. Plus, The prices went up again. A salad was $6.99 increased to $8.99. The manager Grace was kind enough to make the adjustment back to the $6.99 for each salad. 2nd visit 2 weeks ago - I took my daughters salad to her work and when I opened both the salads I was appalled. The 2 containers weren't even filled, 1/2 a container of dressing. So then I now had to go back to Brio told the front person that I wasn't happy with these salads and the lack of salad for the cost. They took them back and filled them. After I left again they barley put anymore romaine or chopped lettuce back in either salad. I wasn't going back for a 2nd time. So disappointing. 3rd visit this week on Tues 4/17/24 my son was home sick and they had his favorite mushroom soup. So I ordered 2 Mushroom soups, a chopped salad and chicken added to my salad. When I got to the register to ring out, I about fell over she said it was $49.00. I said for what??????? A chopped salad from 2 weeks ago went form $8.99 to $10.99. 5 oz of chicken added to my salad went from $7.99 to now $8.99 2 16 oz cups of Mushroom soup, sit down for this one, they charged me $12.99 for each one x 2 = $25.98 for 32 oz of soup!!! THAT'S INSANE!!!!! Luckily as a single mom, I had a $20 off coupon that I was going to use to take both my kids to a family lunch but unfortunately I had to use it to pay for my order. so instead paid $29.00. This will be the last time that I will be eating there for the lack of food per each serving and the astronomical costs.
Before you eat here consider the fact they closed a restaurant in Delaware, and their way of informing their staff was a permanently closed sign. Poor business practice. On principle I just wouldn’t eat there. Glad I never did. No respect for people’s livelihood.
My family and I decided to spend Christmas Eve dinner here. Booked a reservation for 6pm and I’ll just say by 7:45pm we only still had water and bread at our table. I’m not sure who in particular would be responsible for this but the service overall was unacceptable. There were multiple times that our waitress and/or food runners plus the manager had brought out the wrong food to our table. We had ordered 3 alcoholic drinks that took over 45 minutes to get to our table, and we had to remind the server and manager what we exactly had ordered. Food wise… after waiting for over an hour and a half, the waitress had to ask us again about what food we ordered because apparently she had ‘wrote down the wrong item’. At the end of our dinner the manager of the restaurant had thankfully made it right for us, eliminating the check as a whole. I understand that it is the holiday, but it was just very unfortunate that we had planned to attend church at 8pm but could not make it due to how long everything took to get to our table. We would have never expected to be there for over 2 hours, and the table next to us was experiencing the same thing.
Had the worst service ever lastnight . Took 20 mins just for the server to great us she forgot our appetizer never got us refills on our drinks, put my dessert in to go without us saying we wanted it to go. Food was delicious but worst service I have ever had and I know the table next to me felt the same way about her
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We arrived here and waited 15 minutes before our server even greeted us. Our table was dirty and our chairs had food on them. We asked for water and lemons and waiting another 15 minutes, we received no lemons. We ordered the Bruschetta Sampler for ourselves and received two orders instead of the one we asked for. If we wouldn't have said something we would have been charged for 2. Bruschetta was only 6 small pieces for $22. We had no plates on our table and it took our server until after our appetizer for him to bring plates. We received no straws. Then our server brought the table bread out and it was completely cold and almost frozen in the middle. We asked to cancel our entrees and left immediately. The manager was nice enough to comp our appetizer and let us leave free of charge. Go to McDonalds. Or next door to Xiao Long Bao. I'd rather eat glass than waste my time here again.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Had a reservation at 7:00 and we weren’t seated until 7:40. No one came and said anything to us at all for another 25 minutes until I went up and complained. We finally placed a drink order. Then my drink FINALLY comes out with TRASH AND A BUG IN IT. PAPER TOWELS AND BUGS IN MY DRINK! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
My husband and I recently dined at Brio using a gift card, hoping for a safe and enjoyable evening out. Unfortunately, our experience was not only disappointing but dangerous. My husband has severe food allergies, including a serious allergy to seed oils. He follows a very strict carnivore diet because of these medical issues. We clearly explained this to our server and specifically requested lamb chops with absolutely no seasoning, no marinade, and cooked separately from other food to avoid cross-contamination. When the food arrived, the lamb was visibly covered in seasoning. After taking one bite, my husband immediately felt sick. We asked the manager what was on the lamb, and she initially stated it was only garlic and parsley. When we questioned this further (because it was clearly more than that), she returned from the kitchen and then informed us that the lamb is actually marinated in seasonings and seed oils. This change in explanation was extremely concerning. Not only was the food prepared incorrectly despite clear instructions, but we were also given conflicting information about what was on it. To make matters worse, the manager stated that we had come in months ago with a similar issue — which is true — but at that time a different manager handled the situation professionally and went above and beyond to ensure my husband’s safety. That positive experience is the only reason we felt comfortable returning. Instead of apologizing, the manager was dismissive and rude, making us feel as though we were at fault. My husband was sick for the rest of the night and in significant pain. Thankfully, he recovered, but situations like this can easily become life-threatening for someone with severe allergies. Food allergies are not preferences — they are medical conditions. Failing to follow instructions and providing inaccurate ingredient information is incredibly dangerous. In the future, this type of mistake could have far more serious consequences for another guest. We are deeply disappointed, especially considering how well we were treated during our previous visit. We hope this matter is taken seriously and that better training and procedures are implemented to protect guests with food allergies.
