My family visited Bar Vicini on a rainy day in May. The ambience, the food, the white wine and surely thier services were all good. We specillay loved their espresso. It was heavenly taste.

Brilliant food, menu very interesting and informative. Staff are fantastic, friendly and accommodating and give excellent wine suggestions. Price is also great. Must go place in Chiavenna.

Really nice bar inside and has a good terrace in the main square. Drinks and snacks were great and service quick and friendly.

I chose this bar because not many are open around 3 PM. I didn't regret the decision, but it was nothing special. The pizza wasn't bad but not great. However, I appreciated finding non-alcoholic beer. I loved its location near the river.

Visited 20/08/2025. Can't fault the Parma pizza, mine was lovely, shame the service didn't match. We were sat down and a plate of ham, bread and cheese was brought to the table but we were waiting over 20 minutes for anyone to bring menus to the table. Before we got our menus, another family were seated near us and their menus were on the table before they could even sit down. Staff were friendly enough apart from one young girl who looked miserable and like she didn't want to be there. We didn't feel that welcome and were happy to leave as soon as we had finished our pizzas.

With two Australians and a 80 years old italian lady we decided to take a trip to Chiavenna and stopped at this bar to have lunch. We all had proof of vaccinations on our phones except for the 80 years lady who had proof of the third dose on paper because she doesn’t have a phone. The scanning system they had didn’t accept the QR code on the paper and we were asked to leave. This is the first time this has happened and we have been visiting bars and restaurants on a daily basis. I have also confirmed with police that she met the requirements to enter public spaces while waiting for the updated green pass.
