Perfect place to stop for a coffee break or an aperitif, also perfect for a full lunch. The Chiavenna gnocchetti are as good as you'd find in a traditional crotto, and the piadinas are even better. Delicious, the price is right for the excellent quality.

Really sweet people, good coffee and food. They try to talk English. Asked them if I could work on my laptop and they were completely fine with it. Good WiFi and and special area in the back with multiple power outlets.
For my first time in Chiavenna, I had lunch at this bar in the historic center, where you can sit inside or outside, and where there are a few tables in Piazza Bertacchi in front of the town hall. I ate the Chiavenna white pizzoccheri (see photo), which I personally hadn't tried before today, and I thought they were delicious! The portion was just right for me and the price was good. If I ever pass through Chiavenna again in the future, I'll definitely eat here again!
Excellent food and service. Came here last year and loved it.
We dined last night at this charming place, enjoying a live performance by our musician friends. The delicious, gigantic cutlet with fries was delicious, the staff attentive and attentive... and to top it off, the delightful surprise of a couple of songs performed by the owner Cinzia, who has an amazing voice!

I visited this place on July 2024 for a quick dinner, sitting in the outside table. Overall I enjoyed the experience here. The staff was friendly as well as the service speed. I did order one Coke Zero and one KM0 sandwich with traditional Bresaola, Cheese and lemon peels. Prices are really competitive and you can pay with any credit card here, including American Express. I definitely suggest this place.
Service average but good food We were last weekend at Swiss Bar. Nice place to sit outside, direct on the market place. Service was not perfect but okay. But the food was excellent and cheap for the quality.
After we have been waiting for 15 minutes at another café without the waitresses even noticing us, we changed to this place - which turned out to be a real good choice. The waitress here was friendly and attentive, our ordered drinks came quick and our salad and toast were just delicious.
Don't order the pizza; it arrived badly frozen. The piadina was half-empty. €9.50 for the pizza and €6.50 for the piadina. Great for an aperitif or snack.
If i could give minus stars I would. The service was slow, the staff disinterested and the food was ready meals!! There is nothing nice about this. There was no infant menu or cutlery. The pasta dishes were unappetising and the carbonara gave me stomach upset for the entkre evening after eating lunch at this establishment. The owners should be embarrassed to serve such sorry excuses for hot meals. We would have eaten better at McD and for under €30. Do not bother with this place.
The food was below average and the service unfriendly. One of two dishes never arrived.
