Excellent Piedmontese cuisine. It was a warm day, so we chose to have lunch outside in the garden, under the trees, especially since we had our dog with us. We had a great time. Excellent food, friendly staff, and adequately fast service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

An excellent place for a business lunch at a truly attractive price: €12 for a first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee...to be precise: penne with pesto, Milanese with baked potatoes, rosé wine, water, and coffee.

A true trattoria. Simple, good food. We went for Sunday lunch. We had the following appetizers: Raw meat salad (more than decent), Vitello tonnato (good meat, tuna sauce a bit light), Lingua al verde (good and delicate), Tomino da Carlino (average), Sweet and sour peppers with tuna (good). For the first course: Borage plin with butter and sage (agnolottini. Average). For the second course: Mixed fried fish (good, but a little lacking). Two 1-liter bottles of water, 1/4 liter of wine (good). For those looking for simplicity, EXCELLENT. PRICE €30

I went there with friends who are regulars in the area and the location, and I have to say that everything matched their description. The welcome was, let's say, "alternative," but genuine. The owner even sat at our table. Overall, a positive experience, and a highly recommended location.

At the time we weren't very enthusiastic, the place, it was Tuesday, didn't look very welcoming. After about ten minutes it felt like we were having lunch at home with friends with home-made dishes and desserts of good quality and very satisfying. We looked at the bill twice because we couldn't believe our eyes. My husband spends more every day during his lunch break in Genoa in terms of quantity, quality/price. The chocolate salami he brought home as a souvenir for his daughter was excellent and she really enjoyed it😉

For the fourth time, the management has changed. The only thing they never change are the bathrooms. They promised, however, they'll redo them. Let's look at the food: there's not a lot of choice, but the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are carefully crafted. This time, we opted for an appetizer of veal with tuna sauce, asparagus and fondue flan, and electric tomino cheese. For the main course, I ordered wild boar with potatoes and green beans, while my wife chose roast beef with potatoes and green beans. We finished with a bonet and coffee. Fairly priced. We'll have to try other dishes, like the polenta concia, and... we're waiting for new offerings. Not five stars because of the bathroom.

At the suggestion of an acquaintance, we decide to ditch the other options and head to "Cantina del Gallo." The atmosphere is very retro and shabby, like an old dive bar from the '70s, and even the decor hasn't changed. Okay, we say... let's order house wine and water. I don't think I've ever tasted worse wine in my life! It just stayed there! We move on to the menu (unfamiliar until the end). Service is by one person for the entire room, and the plates are served for all five appetizers, a nice mix of flavors. Overall, the crowd seemed to enjoy it (they must have been regulars). I personally stopped at the first course, after which I decided to leave. My companion at the cash register asked if it was possible to take away what we hadn't eaten (2 + 2 main courses). Meanwhile, I was paying 50 euros for the bill, and then I was told I had to add another 10 euros because the menu was 30 euros! Believe me, it wasn't worth 20! Plus, I didn't drink the wine. Sorry, but never again! Two stars to encourage these businesses, but a "cheap" lunch doesn't mean zero quality.

Terrible, go elsewhere, they only charge, they don't know what good food is, a teaspoon of raw meat, good but poor, a teaspoon of San Carlino, that's what they called it, for me it was ricotta mixed with Philadelphia, tongue in green sauce, passable, commercial Russian salad, the first course or this, alternatively, there's no other mixed fried food and they don't know how to make it, it seemed boiled, ask for a small second, they said they were tight, 2 people, modest price, be careful, €60, I had something to complain about, they discounted me €10, I paid €50, I thought they had improved, but instead they got worse, I recommend not going and in my opinion the positive reviews are false, they only take care of the receptions because the customers choose the menu
