The place is very nice down the castle. Bricks, steel and glass in a very nice interior design. The sommelier was friendly, very nice English spoken and with a natural client orientation. The food was excellent! We tasted two vegetarian appetizers…. Tasted so nice! And main courses we choose pizzas… a real deal and a very nice rate quality-price!

A charming location in Chieri's main square, housed in a charming stone cellar. It's a shame it's only accessible via stairs and is not accessible to those with mobility impairments. Excellent selection of cocktails and gin. The conversation and ingredients are excellent. Gourmet pizzas, but the pinsa aren't typical Roman ones and are too high for that type of dish. Very attentive service.

ordered pizza which was very good but had tinned mushrooms - this is a huge no no especially in Italy - otherwise place was lovely and service very good

I'll start by saying that before starting this review, I carefully read all the other reviews to see if my dissatisfaction might be due to my being too picky. However, I noticed that, despite the effort put into responding to the negative reviews and promising improvements, perhaps more effort is needed. The wait was already long for the appetizer, and even longer between that and the main course. When I asked for a second reminder, the waitress responded quickly and hastily, annoyed. At the second reminder, she was even more annoyed, her arms outstretched and impatient, and she replied, "I don't know what to do about it," without an apology, a slight disappointment, nothing. It's a real shame, because the place is pleasant and comfortable, the veal with tuna sauce excellent, but everything else definitely needs improvement, and a lot! Delays happen elsewhere too, but they're promptly and with extreme empathy and kindness, which allows the customer to understand and wait without any particular problems... Here, not even in front of a child (and he wasn't the only one) who, after an hour, still hadn't received his plate, and it was the first reminder, they weren't able to bring even just two farfalle al burro. There's no bread on the table; you have to ask for the breadsticks, and the parmesan too... At the cashier, just a "sorry," not a €1 discount... And to think that today we could all have chosen to eat at the fair stands, but this subtlety on the part of the customers was evidently not picked up and appreciated by the owner and staff... At the table in front of us, after more than an hour, they realized they'd forgotten a second... All this being said, no answers are needed, in fact, the silence will be appreciated, but it demonstrates that the real disappointment lies in truly improving and taking care of the customer, today more than ever, given the infinite choice of restaurants. We stopped in today by chance since we came for the San Martino fair! Very cute and characteristic place! We arrived around 2 pm and the reservation was taken around 2:30 after! 2 appetizers to choose from, one of which was sold out🤔🤔! 22 euro menu with appetizer, first course, and dessert and 2 portions of agnolotti that were very undercooked! 86 euros! Hard to go back! A French couple near us with a 13-month-old baby ran away because after an hour they only received a flan! Too bad because the place is characteristic and right in the center!

If you don't have a reservation, don't bother to go. We've arrived 7pm and the restaurant was completely empty. After saying there were places inside, after 5 minutes waiting they treated us with disdain and offered the table beside the bathroom entrance. We left and will never go back.
