Small and nice place, good for a causal sit-down lunch or dinner. Wide selection of meats for your standard Mexican fare, from taco combos to burritos to loaded nachos. Portions for the burritos at least are generous and prices trend low and are reasonable for the suburban setting. Quality and tasty comfort food!

What a find! This is the BEST Mexican meal I have had in years. I beg everyone to go and check them out - I want them to stay around for a long time. I had Shredded Beef street tacos - which is such a treat since most "faster food" places don't have this meat style. And my guest had a large sized carne asada burrito, wet. There salsa bar had great choices and homemade salsa delicious. Beats your typical fast food fare, service was great and cost very reasonable. We were Happy Campers! Keep up everything !!

Food was delicious. I had the al pastor taco and crunchy chicken taco. Both were very good and huge. Chips very fresh and crispy and I especially liked their green salsa.

Wow! Very extensive menu for such a small place. Food is very good and VERY substantial. Counter order, but they bring to your table and are very friendly and attentive. Prices are average for area, but service, quality and quantity are far above average. I had the asada burrito, wet, with salsa verde and could only finish half - and I'm a big eater! (Actually I wanted to save some for later it was that good.) Did I mention they have a salsa bar? And not just a dinky one either. Several salsas, pickeled peppers, onions, radishes with sliced limes, etc. Go there now, 'cause they can't keep this quality and price point for long.

We stopped in when another restaurant close by was very busy. Small location, good salsa, the green medium hot, a roasted red, hot and flavorful, fresh chopped cilantro and onion. We had street tacos, we were surprised, they were very good we tried lengua, grilled chicken, al pastor and carnitas. All delicious at the end of the day. Our only down was the chips weren't fresh, a bit stale. People great

A hidden jewel in Chino Hills. Was more than pleasantly surprised at how great and authentic the food is. Homemade sauces, great pozole, generous portions, good prices. The beans are similar to how my grandmother made them and hers were the best. These are a close second, which is really a compliment! Marinated and shredded beef, the shredded chicken in the enchiladas is marinated and cooked with green chiles - no boiled chicken like all the other places. I LOVE this place.

It was our first time. The food was well seasoned, in other words it was delicious. Service was good. The food was prepared in a timely fashion. The place was empty when we got there by the time they gave us our food it was packed.

Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had absolutely delicious it's authentic and always fresh I get El Torito Loco at least 3 times a month the taste is consistent and everything is good on their menu ! I'm thankful for the world greatest grilled chicken burrito wet with red sauce 😋 🌯 it's phenomenal 🙌

Hard to find good pozole but tried it here and it was very good! If you don’t have time to make it yourself this is the next best thing . Super friendly staff! Will definitely come back !

The restaurant is small but clean and staff is friendly. The food was delicious. The portions are generous, prices are good and the have a really nice salsa bar. We had beef crispy taco plates with rice and beans. Came with free chips and salsa. We will come back again next time we are in Chino!

But outside there are lots of tables with umbrellas and a big water fountain for the kiddies to visibly enjoy. We will definitely be going back again real soon.

Everything I've eaten here is delicious, this is my favorite place for child rellenos. They're also very fast at preparing food.

The place is kind of small, but they do have excellent customer service. The food was delicious, I ordered Pozole and it was the best around here. The carne asada tacos are ok, but tacos al pastor are way better. They are new here so I hope the keep their good service and please, don't change your recipe for the Pozole!

The food was good, the salsa was good, but the guacamole was terrible. Granted, it was not an order of guacamole, but rather, what comes with the quesadilla. However, if you're going to include it as part of the order, the quality should match the rest of the food.

Great experience the several times I've been there. They have good Mexican food. It's not too pricey and has some good salsa. It is very easy to place a phone order and pick up for those who go on lunch break. Not a 5-star as they close on Sundays and Monday. I definitely recommend you try it.

The service was good but the food not as good as I remember it I use to bring my girl friend food from here all the time 4 years ago and the food was great but this last time it wasn't up to what it use to be maybe they have new owners but at least the staff was courteous

This was our first visit. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. It's a small place so there aren't a lot of tables. It's nice to have a new non-chain restaurant in a neighborhood dominated by the big chains.

I would have gave it 5 stars if they would have offered some guacamole and sour cream to go with the burritos but they didn't. Over all it was good and if happen to be in the area we will stop and eat here again. They also have good chips amd salsa!

I don’t understand why this place has a high rating. I had high hopes. I ordered the shrimp tacos and the shrimp was not cleaned or peeled right. They were out of everything customers kept coming in to let the lady know things were missing. We also got a chicken tostada and it had no flavor. Not authentic at all. The price was very expensive for what the quality. I won’t be coming here anymore.

I wanted to like this place. I work in the area and came to check it out for the rest of my co-workers. Regardless of what I received which was good, the speed of service left way too much to be desired. On my lunch break I came in and ordered a chile verde burrito specifically because out of all the things on the menu, this should be the quickest. Chile Verde takes hours to make so I know it's prepared well before hand. it took me 16 minutes to get a burrito for lunch. close to no time to finish it and I told my co-workers," You may like the flavor, or you might not, but for lunch it just isn't an option. I was told the food was coming right up and I did not get an apology for a long wait, which tells me that 15 minutes for a burrito at lunch time is the norm, not good. Was hoping to support a local Mexican run business but have to consider other locations.
