The food was so good! Mystie was so sweet and her Reese’s pie recommendation was spot on. She also made some killer strawberry Marguerita’s!! We will definitely be back 😋

Pros: -Amazing value for the amount of food you get. I ordered a takeout meal for $25. I got a lunch meal for myself that consisted of a chile relleno (a big size), pork taco(small taco), and steak quesadilla (good size), a kids plate consisting of a kids cheese quesadilla and fries, and an order of a tomatillo spicy salsa, chips and a small container of red salsa that came with the order. All for $25! At chipotle you’d have to pay $25 just to get a burrito and chips with salsa with a drink just for one person. I fed myself and two kids and we were stuffed and I got to enjoy the salsa again later in the day. -Delicious salsas !!! -The food tasted good although I probably wouldn’t order a chile relleno again simply not my preference. The pork carnitas in my taco and the steak in my quesadilla were good and tasted fresh enough. -great service; they called right away to confirm my online order and ask a few questions about extra requests I placed on my order. Up charge for adding carnitas and steak was reasonable. -ordering online was simple (could benefit from a different format) -my kids liked the food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 -The men working were extremely friendly and welcomed me in as soon as I walked in the door. I personally appreciated their thick accents and the fact that they spoke in their native language behind the counter to each other. Cons: - They placed my steak quesadilla into the same takeout plate as my chile relleno and the sauce from the chile got all over my quesadilla underneath so it was completely soggy. They should pack away each part of the lunch plate separately with foil or in plates with compartments. My taco was wrapped in foil and it was great. -The online menu does not specify if you get salsa with a meal or chips with the meal and it also lacks in specifying what kinds of taco or quesadilla is being offered in some of the lunch and kids plates. There should be options online to choose if you want a meat in your taco, quesadilla etc and how much the up charge will be for the addition. I heard from other restaurant goers who dined-in that they also were not fully aware of what would come in their meal. -the cart when ordering online is a tad confusing to find after adding orders. - I personally thought, and maybe it’s simply a matter of preference, but I think there should be additional options to select fillings for the tacos and quesadilla etc like tomatoes, more lettuce, onions etc. I prefer having those in my Mexican dishes. Overall, I enjoyed my takeout experience with Rancho Viejo and definitely plan on ordering again and dining in. I’m looking forward to seeing this location succeed and stick around for many years. This restaurant reminded me of my brother Valentin who passed away May 2023 💔 He made me my first ever authentic pork taco and though no one has ever made a taco as delicious as his, I know I’ll be thinking of him every time I eat food here. Very fast service fresh tortilla chips came out hot, good Jalepeno poppers. The Pina Loca was one of the best things I've had the pleasure of eating. Will definitely be returning.

Enchilada and chimichonga lunch specials were great as well as the queso dip. Very clean dining room with fast and friendly service glad to have a great Mexican place in town finally!

I wish I went to this place sooner. The food is amazing, staff is attentive, portions are huge, atmosphere is nice. Our waiter gave me a free tequila shot for my birthday and offered to take a picture for us. First time I went I got the larger quesadilla which was only $20. The amount of food I got for $20 would easily be $30 anywhere else. The quesadilla was delicious but today I ordered their street tacos, hands down the best tacos I've ever had. Their menu is huge but simple and even has options for picky eaters. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Just came here to tell everyone rancho Viejo has to be one of the most beautiful and best restaurants to eat at very good food very good prices me and my family just went in for lunch and we had the blast. our sever was Jesus very respectful young man.

My wife and I ate lunch here today, the prices were solid, service was great, and the food tasted great! What more can you ask for? :)

Great spot if you are looking for authentic Mexican food! One of my favorite spots in town for Mexican food! Spacious, clean, friendly staff, plenty of menu options, drinks! Give the Quesabirria tacos and burritos a try, very delicious meals!

We've been here a few times for date night, girls night, etc. I have tried something different each time but never disappointed. Fajitas, burritos, and most recently, the taco salad. Margaritas obviously!! Their service is quick and the wait staff is attentive. Overall, a great spot for authentic Mexican!

During a recent road trip, we stopped at Rancho Viejo and were very happy with our choice. The food was absolutely delicious, offering an authentic Mexican experience—not your typical Tex-Mex spot, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A great find on the road!

My son and I dined on a Monday just before 5pm. We were greeted and seated immediately by a friendly gentleman. Margaritas on special 4-6. I ordered the traditional, that and tortilla chips and salsa were served promptly. Love the festive Mexican atmosphere, so bright and welcoming. My son had Quesadillas he asked for no vegetables, also came with rice and fresh Guacamole. He had dined once before with his Father and they both loved it! I had enchiladas with guacamole, food fresh and authentic! The margaritas are a refreshing perfect sweet, sour, and salty bitter. I was offered a to go cup they are generous portions. Best Mexican food in Cicero!

A must stop in Cicero. My friends were in town for the week for the annual fishing trip. We decided we don’t want to cook dinner anymore while on Vacation. This spot was a few mins from our lake Vrbo. Coming from Buffalo Ny where it seems there are more Mexican restaurants than pizzerias I’ve tried them all far and wide and Rancho Viejo is easily in my top 3 spots. Food was great. Service was great. Margaritas were ENORMOUS. Large portions. The salsa for the fish tacos was hot and amazing. Thank you sooo much for great food. See ya all again next year

Great authentic Mexican food! I can't get enough of Rancho Viejo their food is amazing. We got the pleasure of trying this place at a different location in Batavia and kept dreaming about going back our meal was outstanding. Much to our surprise they opened a location closer to use and we couldn't be happier. This time we started out with a peach margarita (special request) on the rocks and the cilantro jalapeno margarita, both very tasty, perfectly balanced. For dinner we got the gorditas deluxe and chimichangas, fried with beef. Food came out fast, hot, and tasty. I liked the gorditas the best they were soft and fluffy, and fully of meat and other fillings. There was so much food we took some home. For dessert we ended with the flan it was very creamy. My only complaint with that is it doesn't need the chocolate syrup or sprinkles it takes away from the caramel flavor of the flan. We loves this place and we enjoy trying something new each time we go. Definitely give this place a try. I will be visiting again soon for sure.

My manager said their birrias were some of the best around. He wasn't wrong. They were absolutely amazing. The beef was super flavorful and the dish wasn't absolutely drenched in oil like other over hyped places I've tried. My wife's Santa Fe Burrito was also delicious and flavorful. Our waiter, Davinson, was super nice, and very attentive. Can't wait to come back

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Onondaga County! Praying they open up a restaurant in Pulaski, they would do amazing up north! The chips are the best, the rice is always tender & fresh & the sauces are vibrant & delicious. I've had a different dish everytime I've come & they have all been delicious. The service is awesome too & every waiter has been very kind & allows me to make adjustments to my meals, as I am very particular. Love this place!!!!!

Finally tried them here and they were melt in your mouth, packed with flavor, delicious! Also the best salsa I have ever tasted from a Mexican restaurant. Yolandas delicious as well!

Great Mexican food, place is clean and feels authentic, prices are very reasonable and servings are large. They have a good variety of drinks from margaritas and drinks to wine and beers. The service is quick and they are very attentive. One of my favorite places to eat around here.

Me, my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids went there after graduation for dinner. Because of stomach issues I can't eat and drink at the same time and my husband was still on the road working at 7:00 at night so I ordered my food and my husband's food to go and I had a margarita, it tasted like it had no booze in it at all. The food my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids got were huge platefulls of food, I ordered my husband the mucho grande steak burrito which the ends had like absolutely nothing in them, meat and stuff in the middle only it wasn't stuffed and end like the mucho grande burrito my grandson got, Lil bit of rice & beans, a separate Container full of mostly lettuce a little bit of tomatoes on top and some sour cream, I got the stuffed poblanos and in my takeout container there was maybe half a cup of rice and a half a cup of beans, less than half of what was on the plates and the restaurant. You can see in the pictures in the takeout container besides are clean there was hardly any food in that container. The stuffed poblanos are literally a pepper with like a half a pound of cheese shoved in it no rice or chicken or anything mixed in. I've had stuffed poblanos at many restaurant and never had one like this before, it was literally just a mouth full of cheese. For the price I paid for it you think they would have loaded up the container with rice and beans. Rice didn't have much flavor at all, beans not bad but a Lil runny. Disappointing to say the least. The people that work there were friendly and kind but the food is just disappointing and I didn't find it to be authentic mexican at all.

We were seated and given chips and salsa quickly. However, we waited...and waited ...and no one ever came to get our drink order. A table that entered after us was seated, had their cocktails delivered, and was asked if they also wanted water. Two staff (not sure of their roles) were talking together and looking at their phones. We hear the food is good, but we'll never know.

1 star because I’m never coming back. The management is awful. We ordered guacamole dip without tomatoes which we have had maybe the other 30+ times we have been there. Takeout order- my son noticed the tomatoes in the parking lot so I head back in to exchange and well the manager insisted it is NEVER made like that and I NEVER have had it that way, I must have some other guacamole with onions jalapeño tomato and chunks of avocaDo, way bigger. And of course an up charge. I explain no, not it and we don’t want all those ingredients involved please, again she insisted that I have no idea what I am talking about and keeps pointing at the menu. I keep telling her I’ve been here over 30 times- it’s probably more, well and we order the same thing every single time and they make it for us- like why are you gaslighting me about guacamole dip?! So they make the regular guacamole and she checks with me about every ingredient in a very condescending way, when it’s done brings it out and shows me- see no tomatoes? Totally obnoxious. After all that of course the BIG expensive guacamole without onions tomato and jalapeño is way smaller than the guacamole dip in our normal takeout and what does the manager do- she charges me an extra 7+ $ For real, the cashier even says “there’s an up charge?” Yes, for fewer ingredients, less food, and when you allowed me to place an actual takeout for guacamole dip with tomato - equal difficulty in making on the spot? More money. So tell me, was 7$ worth losing a customer that just told you they have visited over 30times and is feeding 3-5 people each time? Food was always mediocre, I lived in San Fran for 9 years and DC for 10 as a qualifier. Ambiance average. Waitstaff is very nice however.

Went in with my husband and 5 kids and when asked how many people the waitress made a comment (in another language but was very obviously annoyed) the hostess then said it was going to be a wait which was fine so we asked how long and then the hostess was looking for an answer from everyone and she was giggling and said that they are actually short staffed and pretty much just shoved us back out the door. My children go to restaurants a lot and are always complemented on behavior and we weren’t even in there 3 minutes. It was not crowded they only had 2 tables of people. Was looking forward to trying this place but will not be returning.
