Best restaurant in Cincinnati! The food is absolutely delicious! Get the kabobs for 2 and spinach pie!
the food there was so good i will try it with my parents i might love this place the food was very good five out of five star this resturant the atmosheper was so good my parents might love the beautiful resturant see you there
Went to dinner tonight with my wife, my son, daughter in law and 10 month old grandson. From the time we entered the restaurant we were greeted by multiple happy energetic employees. Our waiter Sony was excellent. He helped us with recommendations on everything from wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts. He was very friendly. The food and service was excellent. I definitely recommend this place and we plan on going back.
I lived in Turkey for a year developing a love of Turkish cuisine. Dining at Artimis brings back so many fond memories. The lamb is wonderful. The hummus is authentic. Our server Jaime took excellent care of us helping us explore the best Turkish wines to complement our meals. If you want a true taste of well prepared Turkish cuisine, this is the place to go.
I came here 1 year ago and was so pleased with the excellent food and service. I was excited to come here again while visiting the area. As hard as it is to imagine its even better than before. It was very busy when I was here and I would suggest calling for reservations. I was able to be seated without though.
Wow! The new happy hour menu is amazing! We love to go out an add a drink or appetizer to our meal. The happy hour combinations are terrific. And the red lentil soup is delicious. For only five dollars at happy hour. It's fun to try!!
Chicken kabobs were very flavorful and tender. The oven roasted lamb shoulder was great, good flavor, tender and juicy. The service was perfect.
Got the rolled cheese pie, hummus with pita bread, and mixed grilled kebab for two. All were very delicious! Will be coming back soon!
I love this place! Brought my entire family that was in town from California and New York and they loved everything. I always get the chicken kabobs, they are always on point, cooked perfectly and yummy. The lamb kabobs, the oven roasted lamb and the stuffed eggplant are also wonderful. Don't forget to save room for homemade baklava and Turkish coffee. The owners are wonderful people, go show them some support and also eat some great food!
The Lamb kabob was amazing, I do not usually order lamb but I will when i come back so good!
The first restaurant that comes to mind when mediterranean cuisine is mentioned in montgomery. I went with my family and I was very satisfied. The food, service and presentation were excellent. The staff was very professional. They prepared special meals for each individual with allergies at the table. They follow the rules of hygiene and cleanliness. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with greenery and designed plates. My partner and I each had an espresso martini, we shared the grape leaves appetizer, and she had the shrimp casserole while I had the lamb shish kabob. Everything we tasted was incredible. The lamb was tender and marinated/charred perfectly, and paired with an excellent salad and rice. The shrimp casserole was one of the best things I've eaten in the last few years. The mushroom sauce was absolutely divine and complimented the shrimp so well. Staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. We will be coming back next time we are in the area.
You will get a great meal of regional delights tucked in an intimate space. The restaurant is not aiming at specific regional food so you get something from everywhere of the Mediterranean with the chefs interpretation of what it should be. The good news, the portions equate to the value and each dish was delicious. I do suggest that you actually do the choose for two or four on the appetizers, and then concentrate on the chef specialties on the next part of the menu.
Wow! I've just had probably the best dinner date of my life at this lovely Mediterranean restaurant! The venue was stunning, our waiter, Ibrahim, was absolutely charming and charismatic, and the food was heaven no matter what we tried! We never wanted for a thing, the service was impeccably prompt and hospitable. I'll definitely be back for second helpings of the rolled cheese pie, the curry chicken, and the rice pudding, but I also can't wait to try out the rest of the menu! Step aside Melting Pot and Cheesecake Factory, I think I've found my new favorite restaurant at Artemis Mediterranean Bistro 😍
Came back to this restaurant after 5 months of not visiting Cincinnati. The Kebabs are a classic, they have a mixed kebab for 2 people and you can try all the different meats. I was by myself so I had the chicken, it comes with white rice and salad. The portion was generous. For dessert I had the rice pudding, it was delicious. I like strong coffee so I tried the turkish coffee.
I had an amazing dinner at Artemis Mediterranean Bistro recently, and it quickly became one of my favorite dining spots. The lamb chops were the highlight of the meal—juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. You can really tell they put care into their cooking. Our waiter, Sony, made the experience even better. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. His friendly service added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. If you're looking for delicious Mediterranean food with great service, Artemis is the place to go!
We came here on a Thursday night and it wasn't too crowded. It's a casually nice place, with good hospitality, and good vibes. Food-wise, the adana kebab had solid flavors and the rice and salad were far from boring. My lady loved the beef kebab, and I've heard the same praise for it from several other people who've been here. The grape leaves were different from any I've had before, a little softer inside, but I liked them. We got good portions of everything. There seems to be an extensive wine selection here, too. I'd happily come back and try more of the menu.
Wanted to go to the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Cincinnati area for DATE NIGHT and Search on Google and guess what popped up? ARTEMIS Bistro with 4.9 star reviews. We were Greeted by a friendly smile, Lady named Jamie that ended up on waiting on us. Came to the dining area, very nice and classy with white table top, With Linen napkins. The first thing we ordered was a sampler with all the different stuff to try from hummus to chopped up Greens with delicious pita bread. Onto the main entrée, the lamb and beef and fish. They were all delicious and flavorful. The owner even stopped by to see how everything was. That’s a very kind gesture of them overall, everything was five stars and the most important thing they kept our water full. Will be back my wife loved it, that’s the most important thing of the whole meal. We will see you soon again highly recommended.
We stopped for lunch on the way to Kenwood Mall. What a treat! This is a more upscale place than we would usually frequent, but it was a special occasion for us. The appetizer was so good, I especially love pine nuts! We had the Kebab, and it was delicious as well. My only complaint was that the lamb tasted like beef. I'm no lamb expert, but I usually love lamb and don't prefer beef. Perhaps it was just a difference of quality in meat. This is a very personal take on this meal, though, so take it with a grain of sea salt. It was a very romantic place for lunch on a Saturday, in my opinion.
A very beautiful restaurant that enjoys tranquility, romance, etiquette, etc. The beauty of the shop’s décor was exciting and calm, and piano music was playing in the shop very beautifully. After that, I ordered all kinds of grills, and the food was very, very tasty, and I liked the reception. It was nice, and all the hosts here were great in dealing, and it really deserves 5 stars. I wish everyone would go there and try the food 🌹
Excellent place tucked away riligh off Montgomery Rd but well worth the 30 minute drive we made. Hummus and Falafal were perfect. Sauted Lamb exceptional and my Ali Nazik Kabob was very good. If you like Mediterranean food in a fine dining atmosphere but reasonably priced this is the place.
I visited this Mediterranean restaurant last week and had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious - especially the kebab and the fish, both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and provided great service throughout our meal. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, which made our time there even better. At one point my kid accidentally spilled some water on the table, and a staff member immediately came over and cleaned it up politely without disturbing us. That small gesture showed how attentive and caring the team is. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!
A Mediterranean gem nestled in the heart of Cincinnati, this family-owned restaurant takes great pride in its offerings. The cocktails were decent, but I opted for the French rosé, which arrived chilled to my liking. We ordered a sampler, a large salad, and the kebab platter, all of which were delicious especially the spicy vegetables with nuts. It was something unique that I’ve never had . To end our meal, we indulged in the almond cream pudding accompanied by Turkish coffee. The service was impeccable, making it an overall great experience.
We loved this place, it’s quite, good parking lot, run by Turkish family. They do really good chicken kebab, I loved their rice so tasty. Say they don’t have free appetizer, as I used to have in Truva. BUT they still serve free bread, always warm and FREE tea with refill. Highly recommend.
We visited here for a late lunch at the recommendation of Delta Sky diving. Sure glad we did as it was amazing. The food (shrimp casserole and lamb shish kabob, were absolutely delicious. Tender, juicy, full of flavor. Paired with a Mythos beer and a Turkish red wine, made them perfect. Service was welcoming and timed wonderfully thoughlut the meal. We will definitely go back and recommend to others.
I tried almost most of the dishes on the menu and they were all delicious. We went with a friend who wanted to try Mediterranean cuisine. A very good restaurant serving great food. We started with delicious lentil soup and appetizers, then continued with grilled meatballs, lamp chops and a delicious bottle of red wine. Of course, we finished with baklava :) The service, stuff and atmosphere were very enjoyable and the prices are very affordable. We definitely recommend it. Thank you for your great service ⭐️
I can't praise this place enough! My wife and I came in 45 minutes before close on a Saturday night. We are skeptical when it comes to dining out, but our skepticism was washed away almost instantly upon entering the establishment. The hostess created us promptly, and immediately cleaned and reset a table. We were sat in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the falafel appetizer that rivals some of the best we had in Istanbul. We had the mixed grill, the chicken was very flavorful and succulent, the lamb was among the best I've had since I was in Crete. Finally I am a connoisseur of baklava... this is among the top 5 I've ever had... warm, flakey, and not overly sweet. Aside from the food the owners are sweet, hardworking, hands on owner/ operators. If I lived anywhere near the area I would definitely become a regular!

Love the family atmosphere with staff and staff family coming in and hanging out in between lunch and dinner. Okra stew was just as heart warming. Incredibly friendly people. Will def come back next time I’m in the area.
If I could give more than 5 stars , I absolutely would. The owner was a delight to work with. What an amazing experience we had using Artemis’s catering and delivery service. We placed an order for 40 people which included set up and delivery. Food arrived hot and delicious. They went above and beyond our expectations. If you ever need to cater an event, I highly recommend Artemis. They do not disappoint.!!!
I had such a wonderful experience here! My friends and I came here with our husbands for our holiday get together. Super tasty cocktails and the meat was 10/10. All of us collectively agreed that we were STUFFED by the end of meal (more stuffed the grape leaves 🙂↕️) Our servers were so kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. As an elder millennial I love the warmth of a family owned restaurant and they delivered- in fact the servers were as warm as the yummy bread 🥰 thank you so much for an unforgettable night!
We did not have a reservation, we walked in on Valentines Day, we were seated at the bar which was totally fine as we didn’t have a reservation and they were “booked”. The staff was extremely friendly, we were given great recommendations for the entree’s. The food was excellent, appetizers were phenomenal, the drinks were made very well. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area. We are not from the area but will definitely be back! The noise level was very pleasing, I’m partially deaf and use hearing aid, it was not a struggle to hear. Overall just amazing!

Wow! The new happy hour menu is amazing! We love to go out an add a drink or appetizer to our meal. The happy hour combinations are terrific. And the red lentil soup is delicious. For only five dollars at happy hour. It's fun to try!!
A really nice place to eat in the Montgomery area. There is a good selection of menu choices available and the staff is very friendly. The food tasted very good, the only problem I had was that the supply chain issues have limited some of the items on the menu. There is parking available on site and a few outdoor tables for use.
Last minute dinner plans brought us to Artemia at 815 on a Saturday. We ordered hummus (my fav app, creamy!), baba ghanoush (garlicky), rolled spinach pies and a fatoush salad (had huge chunks of cucumber and tomatoes, dressing was OK). Pita bread was warm and spongy (in a good way/ im used to the thinner pita). My partner got the chicken/mushroom curry (first time seeing a curry on a Mediterranean restaurant menu-was so good and creamy!! Definitely big enough to share with 2-3 ppl) I got the beef (single stick with BIG pieces of ribeye) kebab plate (medium rare w/ rice and grated salad)-cooked perfectly, so flavorful & tender. I've never had white rice like this - really good, moist and simply flavored (?buttery ?olive oil? & salt). They have a House Specialties section with dishes I would like to come back and try: okra stews, baked eggplant, cabbage rolls. Great first time visit. Its location was a little tricky to find (at least the way Google maps took us). Probably easier to locate during daylight.
Quiet laid back neighborhood restaurant serving Mediterranean food. Good value. Menu doesn’t change but occasional special entree. Hummus and pitta appetiser is the best I have had. Nothing fancy but it is well prepared and presented and tastes great.
Wonderful evening treating our son to Artemis. Second time here. Service is exceptional. Elegant atmosphere. The tabbouleh appetizer was so fresh and flavorful. I ordered the stuff cabbage leaves, but was disappointed with the tomato base overpowering the rest. I didn't realize it had a tomato base, must have overlooked that. I tried a Turkish red wine and was a disappointed a bit too. The bread was great too. My husband had lamb that was awesome. Overall it was a lovely evening spent with our son, which was the most important aspect anyway.

I really wanted to like this food as I always want to support immigrant owned businesses and I'm a big fan of "mediterranean" restaurants, but there needs to be an honest review. I will first say that if you don't care or don't know about authentic middle eastern food, you will likely like this restaurant. The ambience is to the taste of a more traditional crowd - white tablecloth and formal type of atmosphere. Will come across as stuffy and dated to a more contemporary crowd, but it is family friendly. Service was largely friendly, but a couple of issues. One of the hosts seemed to racially profile me and assume I was with the only other party that was brown - even though I started by saying I had a reservation for 2 at X time under X name. We also had to repeat our dessert order to three different people. And it took a while to get attention to our table. Food was really disappointing. Again, if you are not looking for authentic food and you are happy with familiar, Americanized food because that is what you have been exposed to, you will probably like the food. The hummus immediately reminded us of Sabra, which anyone who knows good hummus knows is a very distinct taste and horrible compared to fresh hummus. I am certain it is not house made. The baba ganoush also seems to be plated grocery store dip - not creamy or smokey, and with a processed flavor. The eggplant in sauce was one of the only dips that was good, but the mousaka at Phoenician Taverna is a better version. The vegetables and walnuts tasted like grocery store salsa mixed with walnut chunks and I'm quite sure that's what it was. It's a serious allegation and I'm not saying I have evidence, but based on the tastes it is quite obvious to me that there is an element of using pre-made products. But if you're the type of person who thinks Sabra is yummy, you'd like it. The accompanying bread is also very much store bought, nothing like the fresh bread at Phoenician Taverna. The chicken kebab was quite good. Nothing exceptional but probably one of the only authentic-ish dishes that tasted house made. However, it came with "pilaf" which is just buttered rice, and salad which is obviously salad mix from the grocery store. It's almost offensive to middle eastern culture to call buttered rice "pilaf" when there are delicious and flavorful rice dishes that properly represent the culture, but again, for the underdeveloped palate it's probably delicious. Rice pudding was nice and probably the best thing we ate. The topping of cinnamon with no other topping is again Americanized cuisine, but I guess aromatics and nuts and such are too exotic.
