This is my go to spot for coffee every time I’m in Mexico City. We not only enjoy a cup in the cafe but we always bring beans back home. The story of Cafe Katsina and Fina trebolillos is inspiring. The coffee course is incredibly informative and motivating to continue to learn about coffee.
Excellent coffee and bookstore with a small but amazing collection of books. Worth visiting.
I really liked it! Although it's very small, the place is great for studying or spending time alone. The average prices are less than 100, so you can enjoy a coffee and a baguette. They don't sell food or snacks, but you can borrow books or use your computer there. The lady was very friendly. Thank you.

A quiet, beautiful, cozy place! I love that they have several brewing methods, they prepare the coffee according to your preferred roast, etc. Very friendly. Delicious desserts. And the decor is very pretty.

The menu is a masterpiece of coffee. They offer tastings and courses to learn more about this delicious beverage. It's worth it to go there to have a great time. The pastries and music are perfect.

The place is beautiful, clean, and quiet. The staff is incredibly attentive and polite. They offer takeout and dine-in service with limited capacity and social distancing. The coffee is aromatic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hot chocolate is rich and not too sweet. The prices are reasonable, and the products are of very high quality.

Excellent coffee, prepared with care and attention. The service is great and the atmosphere of the place is very cosy and relaxed, perfect for a chat with friends, a weekend brunch (food available only Friday-Sunday) or a date. Very reasonably priced for the great quality drinks offered.
One amazing cup of coffee is what you get here. Probably one of the best coffee experiences in town. The chairs and tables... are subpar at best; but the coffee its worth sitting on a nail. I loved it but next time ill take mine to go.
AMAZING COFFEE. One of the best places in the whole city (yeah, you read that right) to get coffee. If you're coffee connoisseur in the city, you NEED to come here. Better than Roccocco in La Roma, Chiquitito in Condesa and Avellaneda in Coyoacan. The place itself is nice as well, and offers homemade pastries. The staff is super friendly and know their coffee.

Delicious herbal teas, over-extracted coffee, very nice place.
September 2024: A small bookstore with a pleasant coffee bar and a few tables, located very close to the central plaza of Tlalpan's borough. They have good coffee and good French-style pastries. The space is currently small because they used to have a mezzanine, but that's no longer operational. They accept credit and debit cards. The location is near a paid public parking lot. Suggestion: They need to significantly improve their customer service.
The coffee methods are on decay though if you are looking for a comfy place to hang around this is a great place
I arrived looking for Katsina coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find that Katsina has been reduced to a small space, and in its place is the El Disaster coffee shop/bookstore. I find it a bit unethical that they post photos of El Disaster praising Katsina, and if that weren't enough, they use the image of another establishment to gain attention, and the owners of Katsina comment and thank you for compliments that are clearly directed at El Disaster. If the owners of El Disaster ever see this comment, I congratulate them not only for the beautiful place, but also for the kindness with which they welcome you. I'm attaching a photo of the El Disaster coffee shop/bookstore. I'll be back soon.
