A culinary delight set in an iconic market, with the best service and quality. I ordered a taco of hecha y queso and a taco of cheek. The cheek is delicious with its flavor and its little bit of fat is perfect. The hecha y queso was a TOTAL surprise. I expected it to be dry, but none of that was true. It has a delicious juice and an unbeatable flavor. One of the best Carnitas tacos I've tried in CDMX.

Wait, what just happened? You sit down at a no frills counter, at this ‘pork only’ food stall, tucked away at the back of the market. A very energetic and theatrical gentleman invites you to look at his chopping block with all parts of the pig. It was suggested for a beginner to have the upper arm of the shoulder with some crisp skin for flavour and fat(the arm is lean) A few bowls with salsa and onions are presented and you can dose as you see fit. For 32 pesos a taco you get a lot of taco(a fist full at least) Suggest you add this to your CdMX food stop.

One of the many stands in the market. I went to this specific one because of their friendliness and attentiveness. I asked about what cuts of meat where in the tacos and they answered all my questions. I was only able to try one taco because I was already full. The lady which served me was friendly and the atmosphere was good overall, I wish I could go back. I tried "taco de buche" and it was delicious. It was 30 pesos and worth it because it was loaded with meat and had two tortillas so I made two tacos with it. Awesome!

It has delicious food at great prices

Son unas carnitas ricas y muy tradicionales del mercado de Jamaica. Lo mejor de todo es la combinación, hay carnitas y tepache, tanto el taco como el litro cuestas $32 (julio-23) A veces le falta un poquito de sal a la carne, pero en general bien.

El sabor de las carnitas es bueno, el tamaño del taco es razonable, el sabor del tepache es muy bueno, le doy 4 ⭐, porqué a los vendedores les falta tacto hacía la gente. El taco cuesta $25 y el litro de Tepache $25.

The service was quick and efficient; the tacos are quite generous, you can easily get two out of one. They come with different, very tasty salsas, and it's best to order them one at a time because they're very filling. It's located inside the market, and like in any market, there are cockroaches crawling around. But we will definitely return to this place.

Inside the Jamaica market, you'll find this carnitas restaurant. Since I went during the week, there weren't many people there. For drinks, I ordered the tepache, which is a standout here, and it was, with a balanced flavor between sweetness and the natural ferment of the pineapple. As for the tacos, the solida taco tasted bland, but when mixed with the curito, the flavor changes. Likewise, the belly taco tasted bland but acceptable. The red salsa is outstanding, spicy and delicious. The taco portions are generous and come with double tortillas.

No son la mejor maravilla del mundo, y tan poco se merecen 5 estrellas, no tiene sabor su carne y menos su tepache tan más chafa, el precio 23 pesos el taco y están atascados, como mucha gente les gusta El lugar ubicado en el mercado de jamaica La cebolla picada parece para alimentos de animales gruesos los trozos de cebolla y el cilantro ni lo lavan así de sucios son, lo lleve el cilantro a mi laboratorio para ver que tanta higiene tienen y sorpresa no lavan el cilantro muchas bacteria en un taco, pidan sus tacos sin verduras.

La atención es pésima. Estuve preguntando y el personal solo me ignoraba. Había extranjeros y a ellos sí los estaban atendiendo con todo. No sabía que ya se habían gentrificado.
