Simply put, if you can, you should stay at Uma Casa. Hands down my new favorite hotel. The thoughtful team, gorgeous room, delicious breakfast and wonderfully quiet location come together in a perfect symbiosis. We had the pleasure of staying here for one week and my only regret is not staying longer. Yes, the location requires a taxi or uber to popular tourist areas (Condesa, Polanco, Roma etc) but this is well worth it considering the sanctuary that is Uma Casa. Blanca, Lacho and the rest of the team went above and beyond to take care of us. Do yourself a favor and stay here to enjoy the stunning rooms, impeccable showers and welcoming atmosphere. Gracias a todos y nos vemos pronto!

We absolutely loved our stay here and look forward to coming back again. It was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed, and the setting was perfect. We got to enjoy a delicious & healthy breakfast/brunch every morning at our leisure, and tried a variety typical dishes along with seasonal fruits and fresh honey. The aesthetic of the spaces are so calming and relaxing, and the details are so thoughtful and soothing to all the senses. It is a bit of a drive to all the sights, but for us relaxing was our main goal. Claudia gave us excellent recommendations on how to spend our time in the city, and we thoroughly enjoyed wandering as well.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Uma Casa. Every room is unique and full of thoughtful details. The decor and furniture are absolutely beautiful. It feels like a quiet little secret in the middle of the city. The breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere warm and peaceful. The houseowner is an incredible person — kind, genuine, and truly caring. The service is warm and attentive. One of the best stays I’ve ever had. Would recommend to everyone staying at CDMX.

Our stay at Uma Casa was absolutely wonderful. Blanca was the most incredible hostess — so warm, kind, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely at home. The design of the house was beautiful and inviting, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel special. Our room had everything we needed and more. Breakfast each morning was delicious, including our favorite fresh made ginger/pineapple/turmeric juice. Blanca and her wonderful staff made every moment feel easy and cared for. I can’t recommend Uma Casa enough! Oh and the best part to a noise sensitive person like me- it was very quiet and tranquil. Thank you so much Blanca for an unforgettable stay- you are simply the best!

I went to a fashion pop-up here, and they gave us a tour of the facilities. It is gorgeous. The owners Claudia and Blanca are so kind and care about their guests. They have decorated the place with lovely Mexican artifacts. The terrace is such a beautiful place to hang out and make new friends. It is a must stay!

We recently enjoyed five nights in April at Casa Uma in this boutique home-like environment situated in a quiet residential area central to all that Mexico City has to offer.  Claudia, who owns the property was welcoming and we quickly felt at home.  The care that Claudia has taken to design this boutique hotel, and her knowledge of Mexico City and design are evident. Entering from the street, you arrive into a quiet plant-filled courtyard oasis and open-air lounge, and climb the stairs up to the rooms. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast , relax during the day and evening.  Lachos , Miriam and their team made a healthly breakfast each morning and we enjoyed a home cooked dinner one evening on the terrace.  Thank you Claudia and Casa Uma team for making our stay in Mexico City a memorable and homelike experience. Hands down one of my favorite hotel experiences to date, nothing short of perfect. Blanca (the owner) and her wonderful staff work meticulously to make sure every detail is cared for. The rooms are all comfortable and beautifully decorated, you will not be disappointed. The ambiance is similar to a home away from home, with a fresh breakfast made every morning, wonderful rooftop deck and just a drive away from some of CDMXs most vibrant neighborhoods. I had a very pleasant stay! Uma Casa is a beautifully designed hotel. It is very intimate, which allows for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is well curated. Attention to detail can be found around every corner. All of the staff, including the owner Claudia, are very friendly and welcoming! Another bonus is the free breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and quantity of the portions. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quaint and calm stay in CDMX!

I was greeted as if I were family and treated so well by staff. I highly recommend to anyone coming to CDMX. Beautiful interior design ! Delicious food, juice, and coffee. Very comfy bed, robe, towels, etc. AC and TV were a plus! It was very easy to access and hostesses were so helpful with providing recommendations and directions. 10/10 lovely stay overall !

I don't even know where to begin with this magical place. The location is fantastic — walk across the street to Prado Norte for all kinds of great restaurants, and it's close to enough Chapultepec Park that you can walk there (takes about 45 minutes) and far enough away from downtown that our stay was quiet and relaxing amidst the bustle of CDMX. Uma Casa itself is stunningly beautiful — the building has classic Art Deco lines and immaculately clean and comfortable rooms (each with their own uniquely beautiful flare). We stayed in the Urucu room, which has rich earthy tones, a very comfortable king bed, and a quiet and secluded private balcony. The staff is so warm and friendly — we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Blanca, who made us feel immediately at home. Uma Casa's manager, Miriam, was so wonderful and attentive, as was the rest of the staff. And the breakfasts!! Wow. Truly, some of the best food we had while in CDMX. We loved our first visit to Mexico City, and Uma Casa was a big part of our love affair with this beautiful city. I hope we find ourselves in CDMX again, and we will always stay at Uma Casa! Thank you SO much, Blanca, Miriam, and staff!!

We stayed at UMA casa from Dec 21-25th. 5-star service all around. After a long, tiresome day of traveling, we quickly relaxed and forgot about everything, once we set foot inside this beautiful and elegant home. The architecture is remarkable. Everything was perfect: our cozy and spacious room, their delicious breakfast (you won't have to go anywhere else) and coffee served on the rooftop, and the lush, tranquil grounds. The bathroom made us feel like we were in a spa. Everyone was wonderful, welcoming, kind and treated us like family. Claudia and her team would constantly check in, giving us excellent recommendations of places to eat (we're big foodies). They genuinely cared about our stay, our daily plans and overall comfort. They even took our luggage up to our room and wanted to help us with them down when we left for the airport (at 5AM!). Their attention to detail is spot on. Not only did they clean our room daily, but they would also turn the bed down in the evening. UMA is in a quiet, safe, and calm neighborhood. It's close enough to restaurants and shops by Uber or if you enjoy walking like us. We're thankful and grateful to have had this experience and appreciate their hard work and taking great care of us. We'll be back!

Everything about Uma Casa is exceptional. The house is beautifully and tastefully designed. You’ll be able to find things to appreciate around every corner. The room is quiet, comfortable, and well maintained. And the common space is inviting and makes you feel right like home. The owner Claudia and staff are amazing. They not only made sure our stay was up to the highest standards, but also provided great travel tips and recommendations. Uma Casa made our trip to Mexico an unforgettable memory. From the first entrance into this architectural marvel (it’s featured in Elle Decor) to the final breakfast of our stay, Claudia and her team has been incredibly kind and gracious. The neighborhood is very secure and upscale, which is exactly the kind of energy best suited for week/weekend getaways from the busy city/those looking for a change of pace. The home is gorgeous and never feels cramped; great energy all throughout and staffed by equally cheerful and friendly people. I highly recommend the garden facing room for it’s great exposure. Will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely lovely hosts that make sure everything is taken care of. If you need anything in your room, or want to set up a cute little wine date, or need a massage - they'll help you sort it out. They helped us for all of those, plus helped us book dinner reservations (they know all the owners) and museum tours (some of them can be very hard to find an open slot.) But Blanca & Claudia made it so easy. The space and rooms themselves are immaculate and well designed. They walked us through using the Alexa in our room, the lights, and water. Made sure it was cleaned every day (but also gave us our privacy when I needed time to knock out some work) and also had a lovely turn-down service to get our bed all cozy before going to sleep - that said, we almost never even noticed they were there. The wifi was good enough for most remote workers - video chats, slack, emails, etc were all fine. Breakfast can be included, and we are so glad we chose to do this! They make some wonderful breakfasts, that include fruit, granola, yogurt, and a main of your choice - also coffee and some delicious juices! Will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in CDMX.
