Coffee roaster and shop; they grind your coffee, serve your favorite beverage, have a bakery with very good prices, the donuts are quite good, and the banana bread is highly recommended. The service is fast, and there's a great variety of drinks and bread. They have tables set up on the sidewalk to enjoy your coffee. The only thing I could mention, with the intention of improving the place, is that they should invest a little more in the tables. I understand they wanted to give it a bohemian touch, but it doesn't look very good.

The Americano coffee portion is tiny, they've stopped serving churros, and there's almost never a place to sit and enjoy your coffee. The service is quick, but they don't care about you; it's very impersonal. You're better off trying Café Jarocho across the street and experiencing both places so you can choose the one you like best.

The coffee they gave me was a little cold and burnt. The bread (donut and pan de muerto) was very average, nothing special. No complaints about the price. It was better when they were El Jarocho.

The staff is curt; they treat you according to how you look. The service is slow. I ordered tortas that are MUCH MORE BREAD than actual fillings. Let me explain: a smear of beans, a few strips of lettuce, maybe a slice and a half of tomato, a couple of chiles, and "the cherry on top"... about 20 grams or less of whatever filling you ordered in your torta, whether it's chicken, breaded steak, chorizo, etc. I suspect if you order egg, they literally make it with one egg. That should give you an idea of ​​how pathetic it is. Honestly, for the price of $50 to $80 pesos these sandwiches cost, you're better off buying from the stands near the Miguel A. Quevedo metro station. The only thing I liked was the place itself, which is spacious, cool, and has a screen, tables, and chairs to sit on, but for that, I'd rather sit in the park across the street for FREE. It's definitely not a place I'd recommend was wasting your money on food. Thank you for the owner's response. While I don't believe my case will be resolved since it's already happened, I do hope it's taken into account... by other consumers, so they can avoid unpleasant experiences when dining at this establishment. My opinion is final.

They don't deserve a single star. Terrible service. I asked for a salt shaker and they brought me the kilo container. Ugh. But of course, they prepared my order however they wanted and put it in a little bag, as if they were kicking me out when I wanted to have breakfast there.

I've been a regular at this coffee shop since it was "El Jarocho." Lately, the service has declined due to the counter staff making inappropriate and awkward comments, which makes the shopping experience unpleasant. I ordered a cup of tea, and the three staff members kept calling this "unmanly." Finally, be sure to check the posted prices carefully, along with what the staff tell you; they often raise them.

Waiting almost an hour for a torta when there aren't any people around is completely ridiculous. I think it's been in decline for a while. I used to come here with my family years ago, and even though the coffee isn't even close to the best, it was still enjoyable to spend some time there. But between the terrible service at the counter, the quality of the coffee, and the fact that it takes so long to deliver the food, there are much better options.

This is, without a doubt, the second-worst coffee shop I've ever been to in this city. And in a country with such richness, tradition, and coffee variety, that's almost offensive. I arrived here by chance, just strolling, and popped into the shop across the street, which, admittedly, is nice and eye-catching. But it turns out the coffee is bad, awful, infamous, terrible. The roasting is so intense that it hides any pleasant flavor. They put the coffee in the basket and pour it into the machine like that, without tamping or anything. So, it's a very roasted and poorly extracted coffee. I don't recommend it in the slightest.

The only redeeming feature of this place is the drinks; they're just "okay," nothing spectacular. The food is awful. I ordered a hamburger and they gave me a Milanese that was folded like meat. The chilaquiles are the kind they sell at a supermarket, so don't even order them. The place is also horrible, with tables that barely fit one person. To top it off, the staff is awful. As another reviewer I read said, they lack manners and education. It's better not to go, it's not worth it. There are many better places than this one, such as La Ruta de la Seda, Las Crepas de Coyoacán, Café El Jarocho, etc.
