First time at Norms, I loved it. The service was a bit slow, but it was very busy, and in the end, our server was on top of everything! The portions were big and the food was great! Definitely will try the one here where I live in Las Vegas.

I was having some work done on my truck at Claremont Toyota on Friday. I was told that it would take 2-3 hours. What was I going to do to pass the time? Walk over to NORMS of course. I ordered a Bigger Better Breakfast. I substituted the ham slice for an extra sausage link and slice of bacon. I wasn't in the mood for pancakes so I chose sourdough toast instead. Except for one very overdone slice of bacon (it was kinda burnt in places), everything was great. My server was Esperanza. She provided top notch service. Thank you.

A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! The lady who served my Dad and I was super polite and friendly. She never rushed us. I ordered an omelette, hash browns, and two hotcakes and my was it GOOD! I definitely recommend trying the hotcakes, I’m typically a waffle guy but these fellas tasted amazing and were so fluffy. Oh and apparently Norms has amazing salsa, I tried it this time around and loved it! Next time, I want to try their Boba drinks, they’re a fun new addition to the menu! The food came out quickly, I definitely appreciated that as I was on the road for a while before stopping by. This is definitely a more modern Norms and it feels very grand in here. I saw a lot of tables and booths, they even have outdoor seating! Norms is a great place for groups of any size. The restaurant was very clean from head to toe and I didn’t have to wait in line for anything! Payments are made up at the front register when you’re ready to leave. Note: This Norms is right off the 10 Freeway in Claremont, there’s plenty of parking space!

Food and service here are good. Parking is not going to be an issue. This restaurant is very large with outdoor seating options. However, the restrooms are very small and narrow, not sure why that is.

Excellent value for breakfast! Steak and eggs was cheap but delicious and the portions were very generous. The pancakes come as a side dish and are fluffy and moist. Service was also great and my coffee cup never went empty. Would recommend anytime.

Recently went for dinner with my family of 3 and the service was too slow, it was not full of people like usual, there were plenty of empty tables and they were already clean, still took them about 30 minutes just to get us seated plus another 10-15 minutes to take our drinks order plus ordering our food, wait time was ridiculous, I don't know what happened but it didn't used to be like this, it had been a while since our last visit to this restaurant, we had never experienced this before at this location. They need to do something about the front person, the guy was young and too relaxed, with no sense of urgency. I really don't understand why it took him so long to get us into a table or booth.

We visited on July 26, 2024. We took our 12 year old granddaughter in for breakfast since she had never been to Norms. Service was pretty good, food was mostly good. My wife and I had the typical pancakes and steak. Our food was delicious and there were no complaints there. However there was a small issue with our granddaughter's food. There was an unusual and identifiable piece of food or whatever in between her half eaten pancakes. We weren't able to identify the small material, and unfortunately, our granddaughter lost her appetite after seeing some odd material in her food. Keep in mind she had eaten half of her pancakes, so she was kinda freakin' out, not sure exactly what she may have eaten. We brought it to an older male worker's attention. He put his glasses on, inspected the pancakes further and said "it's only a piece of onion". He downplayed the issue and didn't offer anything further. I've eaten at Norms for decades and have never found something out of place on a plate of food. I would imagine that would not be an acceptable practice to make light of and not replace the food in such a scenario. Not sure if he believed we were trying to get a freebie or what, however, that left a bad taste in our mouth. And of course, we felt bad for our granddaughter especially after telling her that she would really like Norms. Then her outright losing her appetite after seeing that foreign material in her food. Anyway, I believe that if we encounter such a scenario in the future, to get a manager involved. Norms are typically 5 stars but unfortunately, not on this visit. For anyone planning to visit, be extra mindful of your food and if anything is out of whack(such as in our situation), then ask for a manager to resolve the situation.

Sunday morning before 10, we just had few minutes wait before got our seats. Friendly staff and the food is great. I can’t complain, I ate all I ordered. By the time we finished eating the line is already so long outside the restaurant before noon. Restroom available. Parking available and lots of space. Thank you.

Came here for my Sunday morning breakfast. It was uper busy on my Sunday morning visit. Our server was friendly and as efficient as he could possibly be. However, there was trouble in the kitchen . It took 50 minutes for our order to be ready. When we finally got our food, the food was lukewarm, not hot. The manager didn't come out to explain or apologize for the super delayed food preparation. Our server made good and offered a small discount and free desserts. I highly doubt I'll return to this location.

We’ve been here more than 5 times and every time it was good. We arrived at 4am order and waiting 20 minutes for our food. Not once did she come to ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks, maybe because she was busy cleaning tables and talking to a customer that she was talking to when we walked in. I’m really disappointed I love to tip but this is the one time in my life that I won’t she was needs to be retrained. This is what our plates look like when she brought the check .

Norms has always been the spot. Delicious food + great environment to eat. Visited Norms last night and I’ll start w saying we had a party of 13. We are all seated, ordered waters some drinks and our food. We waited 1 hour for our food!! We noticed at least 3 tables get seated order and Leave… , We had ONE customization to ONE meal and they ignored it and brushed it off as no big deal. (It was the last plate to come to the table after everyone had been eating for several minutes now. They asked to remake it after waiting for an hour! Not to mention we asked for new fries because the ones given were not fresh at all ( and that itself took about 15 minutes to replace ) I can’t imagine waiting for the order they offered to re cook. Waiting an hour for food and it including something you do not eat and being told “oh let me go take that off for you” . it was specifically asked when ordered to not include it so it doesn’t touch the plate.

Despite they’re not being many customers during lunch, the wait time here was abnormally long. The moment I walked in, I was directed to sit and wait to be seated at a table, despite there being no line in front of me. Ordered a simple meal, just myself nothing complicated. I nearly walked out, after 25 minutes just waiting for a simple breakfast sandwich. I actually gathered my things before the employee brought out my food. Decent food, not with the wait but worth the price ($14). As I went to pay for my meal, the kitchen manager decided to empty out the cash register and I found it comical that I had to wait another five minutes for him to finish when I had just spent 45 minutes there, using only 10 of those minutes eating my food. Restrooms outdated, no mirrors and graffiti on the counters.

Just go to Denny's at least there will mannered they're courteous and they actually know that you're there. Norms sucks. I had their country fried steak with biscuits and gravy and it was just the most horrible thing I've ever eaten. My sister got a burger with fries and she said she could have just gone in and out and would have had a better taste in her mouth. My other sister got The Omelette and The Omelette was soggy my mother ended up getting the BLT meal and she only half. But the thing that pissed me off the most what's the fact that we had just came from my cousin's wake so we're just looking for some comforting food I told them let's go to Denny's but they said hey norm's is pretty good norms was not good at all it was horrible the service was horrible. They completely forgot about us served about five people that were behind us ahead of us I had to go tell the chef hey where's our food we've been waiting for about an hour when everybody else is getting their food he acted like nothing. That he brings my food and my sister's food out and makes my mother wait another 15 minutes for a BLT with fries?!!!!! Don't go here go to Denny's norm's sucks or at least this norms sucks don't go to this norms. Today I replied back to what I thought was the owner of Norms only to have Diane Kuntz from guest relations reach out and fix nothing. Even though they're the ones who told me to reach out! It was completely unnecessary to send an email when they fixed nothing. Again they don't care this has happened more than a handful of times by the other comments I read. This is what she wrote at 519 pm so she wouldn't have to fix anything I bet she was on her way to punch out when she sent the below, she didn't listen or acknowledge anything. She wrote this as if I'm being emotional. No Diane your staff sucks and I'll say it again GO TO DENNY'S AT LEAT THEY ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR SITTING THERE AND GET YOUR ORDER OUT IN ORDER!!!: Hello Johana, I want to start by saying how truly sorry for your experience, and for the circumstances surrounding your visit. I understand you were with us after a wake, and I regret deeply that our service and food added frustration during what was already a difficult and emotional time. I also want to acknowledge your message about not understanding why I reached out or feeling that there was nothing I could do or that I didn’t care. Very horrible experience. With the understanding of yes it was busy cause it was Christmas but being busy is not the reason for this review it due to the fact that I had four people in my party and actually I was the first one to order. I can't remember how long the wait was but when our order was served everyone except me was served with there order I was told they would be back with mine. I watched 3 different parties in the section I was in that where seated after our order had already been taken get there food as my party has there's and im still waiting. We literally had to stop the waitress to ask where my food was with the response of what did I order. Finally about 10 min later I get mine. Thank God I was with family because they patiently waited for me to enjoy my food. What also gets me is that when I was just about done eating another waitress came to the table asking me if that order was for me and it was the exact thing I ordered. Like I said I understand it was busy because it was Christmas but when you get charged for a meal where the customer had to wait let alone stop the waitress that is bad business in my eyes. The food was alright not anything so special that I would say I would pay for for the bad service. And this was my first time ever eating here and I will probably never go again
