Tons of seating. Don't let the large crowds and the front seating area fool you. They own quite a bit of area - keep walking around to find the right spot to sit. Order inside and it'll be brought out to you. Salad and Pizza tasted great. Bocci ball available nearby. A house in between has been turned into game rooms for kids. They did a great job with the ambiance and area.

We have been coming here since before my kids were born. The kids love it. The last few times, the pizzas have been a bit soggy. Still taste great

The Prego Pizza is a wonderful experience, though you'll be tasting the garlic for the next 24 hours - for better or for worse. Love the atmosphere and vibe with the patio area.

Our go to place for pizza! We have been ordering their famous large Prego pizzas for over the past 20 years for dine-in and take-out! We prefer their location in Clayton vs. their restaurant in Concord. They have a great outdoor deck for eating your pizzas on a hot summer evening. There is also a large patio with bocce courts as well!

We had one regular pizza that was the chicken which is delicious and then we also had a gluten-free dairy free pizzas as well too that the crust was thin and crispy and the cheese melted just like a regular dairy cheese

Had dinner with one of my brothers. Outdoor dining. Wait staff were masked. Had a half preggo and half martinelli. The pizza is always good. Flavorful and filling. We ordered a medium and I was stuffed. Crust was crunchy and soft inside. I’ve been coming to this location and will continue to do so. Haven’t tried the other locations, but I’m not going to fix what isn’t broken.

Playplace for the kids and a bar for the adults! I was visiting and my family is huge on this place! Now I see why! It will be requested on my next visit!

We recently had pizza for my daughter's birthday. We had 15 people. No reservation on a beautiful Sunday afternoon they were accommodating. Food was good. It's better than good pizza. One of my favorites. It seems a bit pricey but for a good pizza place it's probably the going rate and worth it. They have a great outdoor area with ample seating provided 2 people don't take a table meant for 12 people. There is an area for kids toddler size to play. There is an arcade next door which is great when all the machines are working. Half of them were out of order. The Ispen family bocce ball courts are next door. I presume rentable through the Ispen family website. Skips also has a covered outdoor area for special or large parties. We also had a birthday cake and we didn't really bring any items to serve cake. After several trips up to the ordering area we had the supplies we needed. They didn't have to accommodate us but they did. There is a market near bye a great city park also a saloon along with a few shopping places.

Good old fashion pizza joint. My wife said the gluten free pizza tasted like cardboard... but the regular pizza was great. It's not ny style, it's doughy, heavy but not over greasy. Flavors and toppings were fresh. I really enjoyed the pizza and wings 🪽

Having first spotted Skipolini’s during our Oktoberfest visit to Clayton, we were intrigued and vowed to return during a quieter time. True to our expectations, our Sunday afternoon there was memorable. The family-sized pepperoni pizza was sheer perfection, and the experience was only enhanced when enjoyed on their patio. The view of downtown and the presence of TVs for those in the mood for a NFL football game is a fantastic touch. The heart of Skipolini’s is undoubtedly its staff. Their warm service was evident in every gesture, be it their promptness in arranging high chairs or ensuring we never ran out of that addictive ranch dressing. Also worth noting was the seamless parking experience in downtown Clayton. It’s convenient. A couple of minor hitches were the restroom’s upkeep and a few out-of-service arcade games which slightly disappointed my son. That said, these small issues are just that — small. For a wholesome family outing, I’d heartily recommend the original Skipolini’s Pizza. It’s a gem in the heart of Clayton.

Haley was working the counter on our visit and was an absolute gem. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. Reminded me of little pizzerias I grew up loving. Wonderful visit.

We had an outdoor baby shower for my daughter. It was chilly outside, and the heaters were out of propane. The staff kept us updated that propane was on the way. The food is always good. The atmosphere is a relaxed, comfortable environment for families. They do have a play area for the kids.

Will always be my favorite pizza hangout. Great place to reconnect with old classmates for a reunion or have a pizza with family. Started going there in the late 70s, early 80s. This local, original spot has a lot of memories. Thick crust pizza with fresh ingredients (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red bell peppers, red onions) and a picture of beer are my favorites. Awesome atmosphere. 95% of the seating is outside and surprisingly large. Fantastic ambience. First patio has a bunch of twinkle lights in tiny birdcages all throughout the trees. Local beers. Good sangria. Good pizza

Came to celebrate a couple friends' birthdays and we each got separate dishes between the four of us. A few preferance complaints here and there but I've been to this location before and love how big it is. The seating inside is very limited compared to both the concord and Walnut Creek locations, but because most people come to thos location with larger parties, there were enough tables to choose from inside. My pizza was a bit overcooked, but they were pretty busy so it's understandable that they might've left it in a minute too long.

Their food is good! We love their specialty pizzas and their appetizers (jalapeno poppers are HOT). Beer and pizza. Two great things in life. Love the outdoor seating, but they could have a few more heaters outside where the play structure is located.

Pizza was awesome as always. This is the best in the area in my opinion. The outdoor seating is lovely. The loss of a star is due to the service. The people behind the counter were very nice and just training. No problem there, but the people delivering the food were barely functional. They didn't deliver plates unless asked. They also seemed extremely bored with the whole thing.

Had to wait in line to pick up my order. And they couldn’t do a to go sangria. Bummer!! When we got home the Veggie pizza crust was totally burnt! Horrible for the price and no delivery available!

Takes me to good pizza like back in the day! But....for a medium pizza $37+ and a salad at $15+ and you might have 2 slices max for later. I can only order Skips once every couple of months if that. If you wanted to share its going to be at $100+ not including tip. That's tooooo much for my piggy bank! Just saying what real people wont!

3rd time in a row our pizza was "lost" or "sent for delivery" or "I don't know let me look." The managers are on the spot to try to fix it but the kitchen or ordering drops the ball more often than not. If you haven't got your pizza in 30 mins on a night when the patio is empty, ask for a manager. Once the pizza arrives it is great! Fresh toppings, crispy crust...just be ready to wait no matter what.

I love that you can take your dogs with you to Skipolinis. Pizza is one of kind, very good.

The pizza was pretty good, though it took a while to bring out. I didn't time it, but I saw two guests who arrived and ordered after me get served first. I initially asked for a caprese salad appetizer, was told it wasn't available, then switched to a family size Caesar salad. This costs more, but then I was served the caprese with no acknowledgement of the mistake made and no difference repaid. The caprese salad ended up being extremely stingy on the basil - looked like half of one leaf chopped into bits and sprinkled across the whole thing. Anyway, your experience will probably be better than mine, but I have no reason to come back.

I appreciate the dedication to hiring young staff but I go in there and today was awful. They missed my salad order. Which I’m fine with but then they gave me a different salad filled with onions and nowhere near a Cesar salad. I live up on Morgan territory so it’s 20 to get back and I’m not going back.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR ORDER DELIVERED! They'll mess up every way to Sunday. Specific instructions left & they did not follow at all. Left pizza on mail box, no notification, pizza sat outside & got cold until we called for an update. Don't care about a refund. Terrible service, manager was out of line calling us a scammer.

Full transparency this was our first visit here and our last. We ordered the Caprese salad, garlic bread, and vegetarian pizza and nothing was good. The caprese had tasteless tomatoes and it's the height of tasty tomato season so no excuse for these. these were likely gassed mass produced tomatoes. The garlic bread was dry but had some garlic flavor. The pizza was the worst. It was raw vegetables on cooked bread. And the definition of veggie is a lot and I mean A LOT of black olives. The "fresh" tomatoes on top were cold and the same tasteless tomatoes in the caprese. I am only giving this place any stars because there is nice outside seating. Overall disappointing considering all the hype about this place.

Ordered delivery pizza to my place, my directions were not followed. No notifications came through that the order was on the way or that it had arrived. It sat outside getting cold until I called them. Manager accused me of scamming him because I asked for a refund. Then I explained the specific directions I gave them and the manager accused me of lying. Terrible manager & way to run a business- I don’t care about the refund but why no notifications? Why accused a customer of lying! Outrageous!

Ordered a small cheese pizza to go. Never have I had such a bad pizza like this. $15:00 for no more than 3 bites per slice. Very little cheese and edge of crust was as big as the minuscule slice. I felt like I was eating a slice of dough. Once is enough.

A little guy in glasses starts cleaning up napkin holders and shakers at 9p literally says nothing to us yet, Turns off TV were directly in front of and covers it with out saying a word.super. not even a hey guys. awakward . My date said something to the worker about it glasses worker dude ignored him straight up. You're 16 inches away from the table glasses dude you ,heard us and if your need asl i apologizefor me simply being a stranger trying to eat out ...anyways... We were talking about the TV AS GLASSES DUDE turns off the program covers the tv and leaves the cart that smells , directly next to our table ,full of napkin holders and shakers.(what a BIG FLAG/ hint for us to leave though huh, hellof patio tables and dude you set the cart next to our table where we're eating still come on dude you could have set that cart ANYWHERE ON THE PATIO. Dude just could not communicate so he blocked the exit path a bit with it next to our table ) Dude ,communication hey may I take those ? Hey were closing the patio would you like to join us inside? Hey we're closed at 9 and not 10 . Do you mind. ......DUDE said nothing, thats something he could improve on in my opinion as a lead. Very odd very uncool . The tall blonde chick that gave us our pizza wouldn't even look at me when she brought our second plate out. I had $ in my had to tip her. She ignored me went inside and I never saw her again. Dude was doing chores took trash everything but talking to us. He just needs to use his words though. The blonde coulda been more receptive too ...their loss
