Exceptional!! A very nice restaurant in Vauda di Balangero. A wide selection of appetizers, all very tasty. The first courses are truly delicious, with the toppings pairing beautifully, but the tondinj stuffed with meat and hazelnuts are a cut above!! The second courses are no less delicious: the wild boar melted in your mouth, and the hand-cut chips reminded you of homemade ones. The classic desserts, well-made, leave a delicious taste in your mouth, a delight to end the meal with. The menu includes both a cover charge and wine by the glass, or water and a liqueur. I'd say you couldn't ask for more!! The price was fair, and the portions were generous! The staff were very courteous and helpful. I found discovering the table service menu very enjoyable, and the wait times were non-existent thanks to the precise and punctual service. A new discovery that will stay with you for a long time, so I definitely recommend it and would gladly return.

A bit hidden on the main road, but it was busy on a Sunday, so it's well-known among locals. Excellent welcome, good and plentiful food. Suitable for well-behaved children. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Spacious, highly recommended.

I went there for a business lunch, and they immediately told me it would be best to make a reservation. I waited very little, and they seated me, then took my order after a short wait. What can I say... good food, and friendly, helpful staff. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. Full menu €13 (first course, second course with side dish, water or 1/4 cup wine, coffee)

A bright and clean place, with adequate if somewhat modest service. We shared a somewhat lively birthday party with a couple of tables who suffered greatly from the chaos of our lively table; perhaps they would have appreciated a different arrangement. The platters of cured meats and veal with tuna sauce were quality. We chose the Piedmontese-style mixed fried food, which was rich in choice, although if served all at once, it lost some of its crispiness, in addition to the temperature. Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to have four or five items at a time. The sweet fried food wasn't up to par with the savory one; the pavesini and amaretti were a bit soft and chewy, and the apple was sparse, but overall everything was pleasant. Perhaps a few items at a time instead of all at once would have helped the flavor. The dessert, the fruit tart, was appreciable for its artisanal craftsmanship, lacking in sweetness and the crispiness of the crouton, though thin, with a very floury and unpleasant custard. An experience worth repeating at a more intimate table. All in all, a nice place that deserves re-evaluation given the high level of general approval and the notoriety of the name.

Dessert and coffee are always included on the menu. A wide selection of wines and cellars. House wine by the glass, including Barbera or Dolcetto. Reasonably priced.

I've been there 10 years ago as a guest, I went back for my husband's birthday and I regret it, and I'll explain why, first of all = the waitress instead of addressing me, turned to my daughter, I called her and she didn't turn around and I was already nervous, then we have three menus for 32 euros, one for 20, one for 24 and one for 26, and here they start bringing the appetizers after a long time, the 32 menu included 10 appetizers, a first course and a second course, the 26 menu a first course and 4 appetizers, the 20 menu only included appetizers, the 24 menu included appetizers and a second course. We started three of the 32 menu and one only got a second course, another two second courses and another only the first course. My husband, the birthday boy, was also waiting for the first course, which never arrived. I asked, "When the dishes arrive, they replied, eat the appetizers first and then we'll see." In short, it was confusing. The bill was unclear. However, we saved money. We didn't want to save money, but eat the menu we chose. And then they asked me, "WOULD YOU HAVE EATEN THE DEER?" OF COURSE, seeing as I was passing most of the appetizers to others, and in any case, having chosen the 32 menu, I wanted to eat the menu. I'm sorry, but I won't be going back again.
