Lots of good beers, including craft beers, and excellent cocktails. Also great for a snack or aperitif. Pub atmosphere inside, casual relaxation on the terrace in the beautiful little square outside. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff.

We've been here a couple of times for aperitivo. The service was friendly, and the aperitivo (food) was good and fair. Excellent beer selection, including an interesting local craft beer. We returned after aperitivo for dinner, and enjoyed typical pub fare, including a burger we ordered. The meat was excellent, as was the sandwich in general. Really good, with fresh ingredients and interesting sauces, but not heavy. Excellent value for money.

When I'm on vacation, I always look for a pub where I can enjoy good craft beer, and I recommend this one! I paired the beer with a plate of focaccia appetizers...not bad.

A young pub located in the center of Cogoleto, with indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is pleasant and reasonably clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Aperitivos are reasonably priced, as are cocktails and appetizers. The sandwiches and burgers are excellent (the latter made with meat purchased from local butchers). Table service is available for a small surcharge.

Bad Attitude

Hello, and here we are again on the road. One evening on our way back from Spain, we stopped in Cogoleto, choosing this pub for a drink. We sat at a table next to the wall of the patio. As soon as we sat down, we realized there was a speaker right at table height, the volume so loud we couldn't even talk. Luckily, we managed to sit at another table a little further along, and it was a little better. We had three non-alcoholic drinks and two bottles of water. The non-alcoholic drink was very tasty, well-made with fruit. The prices weren't exactly cheap, but that's understandable, especially since it's high season in a seaside town. Recommended, but don't sit near the wall of the patio; your ears are at high risk 🤣. Friendly and very kind staff.

A place to forget. I had two aperitifs, one of which was non-alcoholic. They didn't give us anything to eat. I asked and was told they had run out of everything. When it came time to pay, the owner made me pay full price, saying that the appetizers were extra. I've never seen such an arrogant person. What's more, I saw him cleaning the cutting boards as they came back. You'll be the judge.

July 16, 2022 Friends and I were spending an afternoon in Cogoleto, and before heading to the restaurant, we decided to have an aperitivo. Parking in these areas is very hard to find and requires a fee, which in the summer is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Among the various options, we chose this place because, despite being on the street parallel to the seafront, it has tables in a small square and dividers that make the area more isolated from traffic. We sat down, and a young man (I later realized he was the owner or partner) took our orders and showed me the various beers on tap, among which I chose a salty beer that I had never tried. We ordered two appetizers, and on a platter, they brought us slices of pizza, a savory pie, pizza, and tramezzini, as well as chips and peanuts...nothing special; in fact, the peanuts were old. They brought us Aperol Spritzes (€6.00), which were just okay. The 0.4L salty beer (€6.00)—I repeat, since it was my first time trying it, so I have no comparison—was too salty, and I couldn't taste the other flavors, like malt and hops. The worst part was that it was warm. Not satisfied with what I drank, I ordered another beer, this time a 0.4L red beer (€6.00), which unfortunately didn't have a strong flavor, but was very light and still warm. When paying, I told the guy that the beers were warm, and he replied that this is the temperature they serve. I recommended putting the glasses in the refrigerator, because that way the beer wouldn't be enhanced and was almost undrinkable. He replied that in five years no one had ever complained (old reviews wouldn't suggest so) and that was fine. I pointed out that, personally, if this is the standard beer temperature, I'll never drink it here again... the owner replied, "Better." Conclusion, terrible place and owner, personally I do not recommend it.

We were with friends, we decided to go for a day trip to the seaside, looking for a place for an aperitivo and we chose this one, we ordered three spritzes and a salty beer and a second red beer, when it came time to pay we pointed out to the owner that the beers were warm, he very rudely replied to our friend that in five years no one had ever complained, and that they had always served it like this!..... I believe that politeness and respect are necessary, always for the customer, and criticism, especially constructive one, should always be accepted, because it is the only way to improve...
