We got the Asian tacos and the fish tacos. Both were amazing - fish tacos are some of the best we’ve ever had.

*Located at Hudson Highlands State Park lot, NOT in the village of Cold Springs, map is off* Octavio's recently moved and got an upgrade to the food truck but same great food. Eating after hiking the Cornish Loop, Breakneck Ridge, or Mount Taurus (Bull Hill) is a great way to end the day on the hills. His tacos are delicious, especially his fish and pork tacos. The best tacos in the area. The Cuban sandwich is also a favorite, as is his fried chicken sandwich. A small bite or big lunch, you really can't go wrong eith anything off the menu. Now in the State Park, you can enjoy the meal on top of little Stony Point overlooking West Point or grab a picnic table by thr Hudson River.

Incredible fish tacos! Like sitting on a dock by the shore, with these big fat fried tacos packed with fresh, delicious fish. Love the cabbage and the dollops of sauces they’re topped with. The Asian taco with braised beef is also great, but the fish tacos are awesome. And the owner? So sweet. 5 stars!!!

Great food at a beautiful spot by a very nice guy right by the Hudson Highlands Trailhead. Everything on his menu fresh and delicious, but the fish tacos and handcut fries always stand out. There's some picnic seating behind the Visitor's Center or you can take your food for a more scenic view up and around Little Stony Point.

God these are the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Great value for what you get, which is 3 giant pieces of fish. Empanadas also unforgettable. Haven’t tried much else because I’m addicted to the tacos! I wish Octavio nothing but success! Selfishly wish he was still in Peekskill, but definitely stop by when you pass through Cold Spring.

Delicious food by the riverside. Local hidden gem. This food wagon has the best tacos, empanadas, and quesadilla in the area. The Cuban sandwich, pork tacos, fish tacos, and the Tequila quesadilla in particular, are really good. The Truck Burger is pretty good too. You really can't go wrong with anything off the menu. Whether you dine right there in the park or take the food elsewhere, you're guaranteed a great lunch. If you are looking for something light, I recommend the beef empanadas or even the fish tacos. Situated on the Annville Circle on Route 9, it's a great pit stop on your way any time driving near Peekskill. Definitely recommend.

The last time a meal “hit the spot” this good i was outside the country. The fries are ACTUAL natural-cut fries; and they don’t taste fried the fatty way. The fries actually sat well on me and didn’t feel too “heavy” on the digestion. The sandwich itself is fit for a King/Queen. The braised short rib wasn’t fatty, and cooked to a tender perfection. The cheese wasn’t sticking to my teeth but rather to the Texas toast. The Texas toast was soft and toasted very evenly with no crunchy mess. The overall taste of the meal was superb and very much worth stopping by and checking out. Packaged in a quality box (those overhead costs tho..??) and cooked faster than a fast food joint. No BS here; a true gem. This is the way and type of meal that i imagine famous restauranteurs get their start with. Keep an eye on this guy.

Stop here for very good Tacos! Fish, Steak, Pork, Chicken & Chorizo Tacos! I LOVED my fish tacos. It’s the sauce for me! Hand cut fries! Mmmm mmm mmmm. He’s parked near the Annsville circle in Peekskill. There’s places to sit by the water. 👍🏽

A small truck by the banks of Hudson River. Octavio’s is the chef. Very friendly service and yummy food. We ordered truck burgers, quesadilla, fish tacos, chorizo tacos and beef empanadas. All of them were yummy.

I asked what Octavio’s favorites were and they said the fish tacos. Incredibly delicious fish tacos some of the best I’ve ever had. I also got the ‘crispy parmesan fries’ and they were perfectly crispy—what a wonderful surprise stopping at this food truck.

Delicious, convenient parking, with a waterfront view, only been here once before but every time I passed by during the winter I'd check to see if they were open again. Sitting here on a beautiful spring day with someone I love, eating a couple of tasty empanadas, happy to say they're open again for the season. Get over here and give them some business, get some burgers or tacos or churros and enjoy!

The fish was fried perfectly and he didn’t overdo things with toppings Also, to top it off, he gave us a jump when our battery died. We parked right next to the trailer and had a back of the van picnic. Excellent food and excellent guy

Always fresh, always looks great, and always tastes incredible. Really serving better food then most restaurants in the area (and thats because of how freshly prepared everything is!!) I've ordered a lot of different items off his menu through the years, and have never had a bad experience! You can tell the Chef takes pride in every dish and loves his craft for sure.

We also tried the Asian tacos and those were fantastic, too. Octavio’s truck is right near the trailhead and there are picnic tables overlooking the river just a few feet away. It’s like the perfect place to stop and have some fresh, delicious food in the most scenic spot you can imagine.

I ordered The Truck burger and it was absolutely delicious—super juicy with perfectly seasoned meat and caramelized onions that were simply spectacular. The fries were crispy and golden, just right. Great prices and excellent service. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Price was also reasonable at $16- Def would recommend & try everything else on the menu! Glad to see Latino-Americans share cuisine culture this far out! Wepa!
