Wow! So happy I found this place. My husband and I came up from the city to hike yesterday and stopped by here on our way to the trailhead to grab some sandwiches to eat along our hike. Both of our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. When we saw the baked goods, we both had to get one and they were incredible. I'm still dreaming about that berry scone. Will definitely be stopping by here before all of our hikes moving forward. On a side note: you all should make little take away bags/picnic kits for hikers! I loved eating my yummy sandwich with a view at the top and I'm sure others would too!

I friggin’ love this place! I wish it was on the Main Street of Cold Spring because they offer quality food that is certainly in demand. They are an asset to Cold Spring and they make healthy but delicious meals and salads. They sell everything from tuna, chicken, pasts, fruit, bean salads, to sandwiches, soups, muffins & more. The quiche is always yummy and they have a small selection of crackers, chips and snacks. Great coffee too! Support them instead of the corporate DD option nearby! Shop small biz!

I don't know what I would do without the Main Course! Fabulous food from soup to nuts and everything in between. I am totally spoiled. Kevin, the owner, is not only handsome - but he's charming and comes up with the best dishes imaginable. I particularly like the soups, sandwiches, and chicken dishes. Salmon is creatively prepared. Great orange yogurt, desserts, & pastries. Cole slaw is out of this world. A definite must IMO.

My husband and I are staying at an Airbnb in Cold Spring for a few weeks and discovered this gem right around the corner. We’ve now been here many times and will continue visiting while we are here. From the outside, it doesn’t look like very much. However, the menu is amazing so don’t let the outside distract you... prices are very reasonable and the staff is great!

My go to for all the prepped foods you would find in an upscale city bakery / deli. Super fresh and flavorful. Seems simple until you put it in your mouth! Everything has a nice twist and is fresh and yummy. We're hooked!

Today I visited The Main Course & purchased a good size order. All of the employees are always so nice. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Tim. He is most courteous and kind to all customers. Packs the orders so neatly. Such a friendly and professional disposition. He is such an asset to this business. I witnessed him taking orders and was so impressed. Every employee , including Tim, is so welcoming that patrons will always come back. And the food is soooo delicious. I tell all my friends to go here. Keep up the good work.

A gourmet takeout spot that cooks a variety of delicious offerings on site. I found them online and wanted to check them out while we were in town for a long holiday weekend. We ordered a salmon cake, chicken burger, broccoli rabe, corn salad and a pretzel stick to share. It came up to $40. Everything is sold by weight. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh and very flavorful. My husband and I were both very happy with our meal that we enjoyed al fresco by the Hudson. 5 solid stars; highly recommended!

We worked with The Main Course for lunch on three consecutive days. I worked with them to curate a delicious and nutritious meal for each of the three days. Each day offered up a different tasty meal, complete with proteins, sides and deserts, while accommodating dietary restrictions. The delivery service was prompt and comprehensive, and the provided serving ware was nice. Thank you for taking such good care of our team! We will certainly be working with them again.

I had slow cooked beef, coleslaw, and a buttered croissant. The quality was average. I've had better ones elsewhere including the croissant. But in a small town where choices are fewer, I do see the importance of this place to the locals.

I paid 25$ for one piece of chicken, less than a cup of rice, beets and potatoes and a cup of fruit. The food is barely decent. I dont recommend eating here. Its not worth the money. I can get the same amount of food if not more for half the price in so many other places.
