Excellent if you arrive early. I arrived at 8:30 a.m. with my friends and we were the only table. By 10:00 a.m., when we left, there was a line. Parking was a bit difficult, but I heard there was ballet parking.
Super pleasant, the service was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely; you can eat and chat for quite a while because you're so comfortable. The coffee is delicious, the dishes are generously portioned and fairly priced. I appreciated that they didn't have five pages of drinks listed and that there was a good variety on the menu.

Best place to have a Churro or panini in town. Great ambiance to enjoy a cold or hot tea or coffee. It is a must in Colima.
Los chilaquiles verdes están de rechupete!! El café es simplemente bueno. Ambiente agradable y buen sazón.
The place and atmosphere are very nice, the food is acceptable, the problem was that there were two of us on a Friday (which can be considered a busy day) and I think there was a noticeable lack of staff for that day, or who knows, maybe even for the weekdays. The wait for the food and even for the bill were rather long compared to what we're used to. It's true the place had several customers, but we were a little disappointed because of the high expectations we had. I'd give it 3.5 stars, but it doesn't deserve 3, so I'll leave it at 4.
La comida muy rica y precios accesibles pero no vallan con hambre porque el servicio es tardado. Nos hicieron esperar 45 minutos para el recibir el desayuno.
We went for dinner and waited an hour for our meal. We ordered appetizers and they were brought an hour later along with the food, plus another 20 minutes waiting for the bill and another 10 minutes for them to bring us a card terminal. I don't know why the service is so slow or if it's normal, but it was our first time there and we were left with a bad taste in our mouths.
We went for breakfast as a family, eager to enjoy ourselves, as the place had been recommended to us for its delicious food. I must say, the food was indeed tasty, but the service left much to be desired. We ordered baguettes, pachucos (a type of Mexican sandwich), and chilaquiles. However, the service was very slow and disorganized. They served the main dish first, but the sides, like salsas or bread rolls, arrived much later (or not at all). This really detracted from the experience, because you can't properly enjoy your meal without them. During our visit, two people came to ask if we needed anything. We politely told them about the sides: a lemonade, a juice, and an order of chilaquiles. But they kept coming back and asking again without bringing anything. Furthermore, they only asked later if the chilaquiles were with or without chicken, even though we had ordered them plain from the start. I'm not writing this to be upsetting, but rather as constructive criticism. The food tastes good, but there's a lack of coordination, efficiency, and customer service. A good dish is even more enjoyable with attentive and efficient service. Hopefully, they'll take these details into account, because the potential is there.
The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired. The waitress was quite unfriendly and her lack of experience was obvious. I ordered a matcha—which I usually order everywhere I go—and here it tasted bad. When I mentioned it, her only response was, "Well, that's how it is," which I found unprofessional. I then opted for a chai latte, which was barely passable. In the end, they charged me for the matcha even though I sent it back almost untouched because of its bad taste. When I pointed it out, the waitress simply said, "Well, I charged you for it because you consumed it," when in reality I only gave her a couple of sips. They should take a customer service course.
I was just there, and because I thought they wouldn't charge me for tea that tasted like cockroaches, I wasn't going to say anything. But they did, and that's just not right. How can you charge for something that tastes like cockroaches? It's awful. I don't recommend it, and I'm never going back. And all this just for charging me for something that tasted like cockroaches.
We came here because we wanted churros, and they were out (ironically, the restaurant's name says "churrería," meaning churro shop). They were very kind in seating us at a large table (there were eight of us), but that was the only attention we received during our time there. We ordered coffees and teas, and only three dishes: one French roll and two crepes. The coffees came out slowly, but the staff serving them were confusing us because they were giving us different names. A moment later, they brought a frappe that we hadn't ordered, and when we told the waiter that we also needed a drink, we reiterated which two drinks were missing. When the second crepe arrived, they again reiterated that two drinks were missing and just said they were coming. Sometimes you understand when the place is busy and you can see the staff rushing around. But when there are only four tables occupied and you can see everyone standing at the bar chatting or looking at their phones, well, no. After an hour of sitting down, the latte we ordered when we arrived finally arrived. It tasted just like hot milk. The last crepe and the last drink arrived. It was a cappuccino. Honestly, we don't know what it was supposed to be because it was incredibly sweet, with a caramel flavor, and we've never had a cappuccino with an extra flavor anywhere else unless you specifically ask for it. To top it all off, the crepe arrived with the wrong ingredients. We ordered banana and cajeta (caramelized milk) and it arrived with banana and strawberry. Not to mention we had to ask the waiter for cutlery. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, but it's all for nothing if it has all these flaws. A little communication between the staff and a little more attention to the table would have made all the difference.
