Freshly made North East Asian Indian food. Enjoyed several dishes. Nicely spiced, not heavily salted and the basmati rice was delicious. A real treat to find a clean little spot East of Columbus Texas. Will be back to try Tandoori. Thank you.
This is such a great addition to Columbus! My bestie and I stopped in and had a feast. Everything was delicious, the staff were very kind, and the prices are reasonable. We had the butter chicken, garlic and regular naan, samosa chat, paratha wrap with paneer, and the dal makhni. Everything was fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the samosa chat for sure. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend whether you’re passing through or live here.
Amazing food! For authentic, delicious tandoori, there is literally nothing better! The food was shareable, and way better than I expected for a gas station food court! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants something out of the ordinary! The helpful and friendly staff made the experience even better.
I was visiting from out of town and visited with a friend. We were SO glad we did, because this place is amazing. I had dal makhni, samosa chat, paneer paratha roll, and naan (clearly I was hungry), and it was some of the best I’ve had. My friend has the butter chicken and garlic naan and both looked and smelled delicious! The owner was super kind and welcoming, the place is spotless, and the prices are super affordable. Plus it’s attached to a convenience store with a wide selection of snacks. Definitely be sure to check this spot out, whether you’re a local or visitor!
Excellent jewel discovered. Food is good tasty. Service was great. The place is clean and well maintained. Try their tandoori roti and the butter chicken it’s good.

3 stars on atmosphere simply because it is a service station, that being said this is actually real Indian food, no lie, the goat bryani is fire, butter chicken is damn amazing, I came in hungry and figured I would give it a shot, I am so glad, if you are traveling toward Katy or headed west on 10 from Katy and want something that is filling, hits the taste buds like Tyson hits the bags, has aromatic rice that is just greatly on its own then my friend stop here, it takes some time because they actually make the food, this is not a McDonald's where they plop a bag in a boiling pot and call it food, this is actual food. A hidden gem in the fields of road cones we call I 10. 10 out of 10 getting fat here, never gonna get that summer bod.
Finding Indian food in Columbus, Texas feels like such a treat, and this place really delivers. The spices are bold and flavorful, and every dish has a richness that keeps you coming back for more. The biryani may not use saffron, but it’s still hearty, well-seasoned, and absolutely satisfying. The mango lassi is refreshing and perfectly balanced—smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. And the masala chai? Hands down the best. The flavors are strong and comforting, and you don’t even need to add sugar—it’s that good on its own. This is easily one of the best food experiences you’ll find in town. A true gem for Columbus.
I was so excited to try the food and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! We had the saag paneer, the aloo gobi, goat biryani and naan! So much delicious food! We ordered takeout and brought the food home, 17 miles away… But when you consider we live halfway between Houston and Austin and a very small town, the fact that such good, reasonable priced, delicious Indian food is available… It is just astounding! We will get two meals for our three person family, and we are all adults. The young man who took our order, KB was so extremely helpful and pleasant… We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!
Absolutely phenomenal! This Indian restaurant is a true gem, and the fact that is located inside the gas station with no many healthy meals options around was such a good find. We had the lentil soup, which was utterly delicious – so flavorful and comforting. Also the paneer curry dish and the mixed lentils curry both were outstanding. You could truly taste the freshness and the fact that everything is cooked from scratch. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The depth of flavors and the quality of the ingredients shone through. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. This is authentic Indian cuisine at its finest, and to find it in such an unexpected location made it even more special. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
They may be at a rest stop, but the food is freaking awesome. I’m very picky about my Indian food and this place is awesome. Just grab it and bring it home.
Trucker since 2020 been to almost every spot otr and this is hands down the best indian food i found anywhere. Ordered butter chicken, daal and goat biryani and everything taste delicious. Prices are cheap and portion sizes are huge.
Nice staff, family owned, Mr Saavan the Head chef is the best cook in the food court. Amazing persons all over the store , they are working like that they own that place, In the personal talk they admitted that their owner is a gem person. He treat all staff like family. God fearing people. Please must visit this place, I highly recomend to every truck drivers, Beside that big parking for semi trucks, very clean showers. Clean rest rooms. Pls must visit. Thanks team

Located in the new Valero Station convenience store (exit 699 @ I-10 W) I never expected the food to be excellent but it was. It rivals any Indian restaurant I've tried in Houston. I mostly eat Thai curries, but both the "Butter Chicken" and "Chicken Tikka Masala" curries were absolutely delicious, and medium spice offered enough heat for me. I order by phone, average p/u time is 15 mins since it's all freshly cooked. My sincere hope is that the word gets around Columbus so these international flavors will stick around. Let's keep this great restaurant open !!!
I am so excited to have this restaurant so close to home! The Lentil soup and Curry chicken were a game changer! It does take quite some time to get your food but they make it fresh and the spice level to your preference while you wait and it is worth it. It is a super clean, new gas station so atmosphere is nothing exciting.

I’ve come through a couple of times and generally enjoyed what I’ve had. It is in a gas station so it’s not the most comfortable place to eat, but more seats than Buc-ee’s. Main gripe today is I ordered saag paneer and ended up with butter paneer… which is tasty, but I wanted greens… I suppose it is my fault to a degree for not double checking before I left…

Located in a gas station food court, which was the first I'd ever seen like it. The food came out hot and delicious, and the cheese Naan was phenomenal. I got the butter chicken with white rice as my entrée, and the portion size didn't match the price for sure, as they were fairly small for the amount we paid. While we were dinning, someone who was familiar with the staff at all the restaurants in the food court came in to say hi with a very large dog, and proceeded to take the canine back into the kitchen while we dined 🤢🤮. That just seemed extremely unsanitary to me, hence the reason they lost two stars. Flavor and food temperature, perfect. Customer service perfect. Bringing a large dog breed that sheds for sure into a kitchens area, disturbing.

Its in a gas station, and lives up to that expectation. Service was a little awkward, but the food was very good. They make everything hot and to order, so expect a wait.

I stopped by this place to grab a quick meal and ordered paneer bhurji. What I got was undercooked and not edible. The paneer was hard, and the dish seemed rushed with no proper cooking. This is not acceptable, especially for travelers who rely on takeaway food. Please make sure to check the food quality before giving it to customers. One bad meal on the road can ruin the day.
