Wonderful coffee, tea and bakery in Como. Our son moved here in Summer 22. This bar is in a pretty part of town, is well fitted out and has the most friendly staff - even if you don't speak Italian. The manager (Matteo, I think) speaks fluent English. Leave the tourist traps behind with their mediocrity and go where the locals visit for their Illy coffee and treats. This cafe has seating too. Highly recommended!

Friendly service, good cappuccino, and excellent chocolate hazelnut cookies. Was warned the cookie was too hard but it had the perfect crunchy texture. Would love to know the name of the cookie so I could try to replicate it once i get home.

My new favourite bakery/cafe. Judging by how busy it gets sometimes, I guess I'm not the only one thinking this way. Cozy and mainly used by locals. Very nice bread and pastry.

Their pastry is very delicious, you can taste that they put butter instead of vegetable oil to their croissants and muffins.

Ci vado raramente se non per motivi di passaggio...devo dire che è un buon esercizio...il caffè non è male...visto che fa' anche da panetteria ho provato anche una loro focaccia ( era veramente buona).

Ottimo il caffè e la pasticceria, anche il pane è ottimo. Sempre affollato.

Small, very welcoming place. They serve breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs! They always sell fresh bread and a small selection of pastries. Delicious baked goods and good coffee! Friendly and helpful staff. Very limited parking in the surrounding area.

22/11/23...eeh niente ho voluto riprovare per potermi ricredere, ma non c'è nulla da fare la poca empatia della ragazza supera di gran lunga la qualità...ad eccezione del ragazzo-uomo ,che spesso c'è in cassa , davvero sempre cortese... dubito in una terza tappa, andrò direttamente in laboratorio 😌 dove la persona addetta al banco merita solo complimenti x cortesia e sorrisi. ----------- 2021 07.30 del mattino scleri xché devi servire 3 caffè, oltre ai cappuccini ordinati...viene chiesto tiepido e scuro lo ricevo bollente e la brioches ghiacciata xché x comodità le tieni sul bancone dove c'è il frigo, immangiabile xché ha perso tutta la friabilità e croccantezza... Oltre ad un pessimo servizio, scortese, non ti domandi nemmeno xché ho lasciato lì tutto senza consumare nulla... Ma x me è un luogo da dimenticare e nemmeno suggerire o consigliare.

Aperitivo con amici, 25 minuti di attesa... buffet sfornito di pietanze, personale non molto cordiale. Servizio scadente, prezzi alti. Nessuno in un'ora e mezza è venuto a sparecchiare o a chiedere se volevamo altro.peccato, perché il posto seppur a ridosso della strada, è carino. Non lo consiglio... almeno x l'aperitivo!

Nel Olly Bar una carta dice: “50% sconto” sulle bottiglie d’olio extravergine di olive (€18,90 per bottiglia). Pago colla carta e vedo la ricevuta. L’uomo dietro il banco solamente ha inserito 30% di sconto. Devo spiegarle, ch’il sconto è 50%, come dice la carta. Mi risponde che no è 50%, ma %30 e no me restituisce i miei soldi. Criminale!

Me ne starò ben lontano in futuro. Ma quell'arroganza poi... Ci sono così tante panetterie in giro che si può fare a meno di pane e strafottenza che c'è qui. Ma fatelo un sorriso che la vita è bella!

I stopped last Sunday for a coffee and a pasta for 2.50, a week later the same thing for 2.80 and I have to say that the pasta wasn't even fresh and they gave me the wrong change, luckily I realised it very disappointed!

I use this shop occasionally, but after several experiences, I can conclude that it's probably one of the least welcoming and rudest bakeries in all of Como. Not only that, but if they spot you as a "passing" customer, the temptation to raise prices is too strong...has happened several times. Avoid.
