Il servizio era immacolato, mi sentivo in un ristorante di lusso. Il cibo delizioso con una selezione assortita e una possibilità di accomodare richieste e/o preferenze. L'ambiente era molto casalingo e famigliare. Consigliatissimo!!

Delicious authentic food with fresh local ingredients. We tried pheasants, quail, daily catch from the lake, pasta with grey rabbit, and ox spine bones, every member of our group loved each dish. All of these ingredients are something I’m familiar with growing up in south east China, so really glad we find a regional cuisine also appreciates these gifts from nature.

After a week of amazing food around Lake Como, Il Solito Posto served up the best meal on our final night. The lake fish on offer that day was amazing, as was the duck ravioli. For dessert we both had the Panna cotta, which after eating here, made me realise I've never eaten proper Panna cotta before. It was absolutely incredible. To top it off the wine selection is considerable and the service from the owners son was second to none. I'm so glad we found this place (especially as it's easy to miss when walking down the street) and I cannot recommend it enough.

We found this restaurant on google maps because it‘s entry is a bit hidden. It is a traditional italian restaurant with very good food. We recommend trying at least 1 fishdish since it was delicious. The unexpected highlight was the dessert (which wasn‘t on the card.) A fusion of chocolate, vanilla cream and a mini pannetone inside! The only minus point was that it was very cold, not even wearing a sweater helped with the freezing temperature. Other than that we recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially to seafoodlovers. High-quality food, everything delicious and particular. It is not trattoria where you will eat "lenticchie e cotechino". Nice surprise was the price list of wine and champagne - almost supermarket price( we ordered Veuve Clicquot). Not a typical noisy Italian restaurant with music and 1000 voices. So maybe for New Year party we will search another place. But I will return here for this amazing kitchen.

What an incredible meal, oh my goodness I don’t know where to begin. First of all, it was wonderful to come into the quiet, calm restaurant after a very loud day at the Monza Grand Prix. The father and son duo have figured out the perfect recipe for a most satisfying and outstanding dining experience. From the three course mushroom meal, to the veal, the fish, the wine, the sorbets, all of it was so so so delectable. I cannot recommend dining here enough. It was wonderful to get to know Filippo as he brought us amazing cuisine. One thing I certainly look out for with a meal is how I feel afterwards, and tonight I feel like a million bucks!

Posto molto bello e particolare, abbastanza riservato. prezzi più accessibili rispetto alla media e servizio cordiale e disponibili. Piatti buoni e abbondanti, peccato per la poca (quasi nulla) scelta di piatti vegetariani o vegani e la poca scelta di verdure (almeno per oggi, ma penso sia importante avere sempre disponibilitá di qualche verdura). Pesce e carne molto buoni (abbiamo preso salmerino con burro e salvia e cinghiale in umido). buona scelta di vini. Anche la panna cotta buona.

Locale molto intimo e accogliente. Pietanze ben eseguite. Staff cordiale. Prezzo abbastanza alto (18 euro un primo) ma nella media del carovita odierno, alla fine. Mezzelune al petto d'anatra, per la mia amica lasagnette ai gamberi, da bere acqua naturale, due panna cotta al cioccolato, circa 30 euro a testa. I piatti che ho visto sugli altri tavoli erano comunque tutti belli.

Ristorante presente da diversi anni e certamente molto apprezzato. Situato in zona centrale, ambiente molto caratteristico e ben curato. Propone Cucina tipica lombarda con lievi reinterpretazioni sempre gradevoli e ben calibrate. Scelta di vini ampia e di qualità. Costi non propriamente economici ma ben giustificati dalla qualità delle pietanze, dal servizio ed ovviamente dall'ubicazione.

Locale nel centro storico. Curato e ben arredato. Menu di cucina locale con aggiunta di piatti di pesce e di terra. Proprietaria gentile, si vede che ama il suo lavoro e ci mette passione. Suggerirei di mettere anche i tavoli fuori, renderebbe il locale più visibile ai turisti di passaggio.

Scoperto grazie a google maps, posto carino e curato, perfetto per un pasto rilassante e romantico. Il menu variegato e molto molto particolare, tutto fatto in casa, personale molto cortese e che dire dei cannelloni al nero di seppia con aragosta....da provare!!! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ambiente rustico ma integrato nel contesto del centro storico con pietra alle pareti e travi di legno sul tetto. Atmosfera calda. Cucina con classici piatti locali, dal pesce di lago, al risotto, ai funghi, quaglia, pasta ripiena. Ho provato quaglia e risotto allo sforzato. Entrambi buoni (in particolare la quaglia)

Greetings fellow holiday makers are you ready for a different dining experience? This is definitely your place. They do not serve tourist food here. This place is for the serious foodie or for those who are ready to partake of something that is not available most anywhere else. It's hard to believe a non-tourist restaurant in the heart of a tourist area. Those seeking authentic local cuisine must come here and dine like kings and queens. The owner and his son made our experience seem like we were part of their family. The house wine is definitely very good. We had the veal milanesa made in butter. Again, this establishment serves food for those who love food and love the ability of a chef to make edible art. Please be sure to visit their website and learn more before you visit.

Very busy restaurant. Recommend a reservation. They have fish from the lake and quite some local dishes to choose from. The menu is seasonal, so better check on their website for the latest menu! The owner is very knowledge in wine, and they have a extensive wine list! (We asked the owner to help pair wind with our food, he did an exceptional job!

The dining area was rustic - exposed wooden beams on the ceiling; exposed brick and stone walls. The menu was small but each item on the menu was equally exiting. The staff were courteous and seemed to know the menu as well as the wines quite well. Only issue with the entire experience was the lack of the hard copy menu - it was a QR experience. This was the only reason why it was 4 as opposed to 5 stars. I got the risotto with quail and an insalata as a contorno. There was complimentary prosecco too. For €35 I feel you could do a lot worse in Como.

Away from the mass tourism it is a great place for a quiet and yummy meal. Situated in a small side road in an old building. Friendly staff and good food. Only improvement would be some tables outside... But I get that there is no way that would wor at this location. Would eat here again if I come back to Como

Ambiente pulito e simpatico. Quanto proposto nella lavagna non era disponibile già dal giorno precedente Cibo discreto ma ad un costo troppo elevato.

Avevamo una prenotazione per le 21:00. A causa del maltempo siamo arrivati con 15 minuti di ritardo. Il cameriere ci ha respinto in modo poco cortese, dicendo che la cucina era già chiusa, nonostante il ristorante risulti aperto fino alle 23:30. Siamo rimasti molto perplessi e, purtroppo, non possiamo giudicare la qualità del cibo. Possiamo però dire che non lo consigliamo assolutamente, soprattutto se si arriva dopo le 21:00.

Sent 2 emails on their on line reservation bookings system. 1st over a month ago, the last a few days ago. No response to either. Perhaps they have closed down. Who knows. Given up as we have been to 7 other great restaurants already, who have a better booking system!!
