We love it here. Service is good, and food is almost always fresh. Definitely get your money's worth. Hot tip: they do reservations for bigger parties
Service was attentive and extremely polite. Selection was plentiful and food quality was very good.
This is my golden gem of a find! This is my second time and I came here for lunch this time and the amount of food you get to choose from and the price for the all-you-can-eat is quite amazing. You would think that they would limit the choices, but they offer you so much and are very accommodating for anything that you want. The fish itself is quite delicious and fresh. It's not the best of quality but it's a decent enough quality to make this a must stop place. If you're looking for the best quality fish, you will definitely be paying twice if not three times as much as you would here. That being said, the fish is fresh and nice enough to want me to keep coming back for more! If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic food, a great price for all you can eat in a variety of choice of many different things that you will enjoy, this place is definitely a must stop!
We got to this Fuji location pretty late, and the server was very cool for giving us fair warning that we would only have 30 minutes before last call. Once we got seated, the sushi guys were so awesome and waiters and the rest of the staff were amazing! Service was A+! We'll have to come back here in the future!
It's highly recommended to make a reservation because of how busy it gets. If you haven't been here before, it's a little daunting. After you're seated, you'll be greeted by your waiter, who will take your drink and appetizer order and leave a menu. You can take the menu to the front where the prep station is and ask for the rolls or sashimi, and if the food is already prepared, the chef or server will push them out to you. You can grab anything you like off of the conveyor belt and the prep station. It's all you can eat for a flat fee of $35, $36? The shimi was excellent! The sushi was also very delicious! Far better than anything I would expect from an all you can eat! My wife and I ate so much.We couldn't even think straight after.
Really amazing for the price! Service is really great! Lots of choices for sushi, sashimi, apps, and more! I ate soooooo much. I'm so happy
I typically visit their Vacaville location and have always enjoyed it. However after trying the Concord location, this will be my new go-to spot. The service is great and everything I ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. I recommend the aburi w/ extra torch. You’re welcome in advance!
Fuji sushi was the most unusual experience I've had so far here in the Bay Area. The restaurant was completely packed, but it was uncomfortable. The way they serve is really cool, and the fact that they have a conveyor belt for those who sit at the bar makes the experience even better. The bar is definitely the best place to sit. There, you'll have a chef who will always ask you how things are and if you need anything. They restock all the sushi all the time, so everything is always very fresh. The price is super fair for what it offers and the variety of food. It's totally worth it. The only thing that left something to be desired was the dessert. The fried banana needed a sauce, maybe dip it in cinnamon sugar or some Nutella to dip it in. The Gyoza was delicious. I particularly like it fried, but it also needed a sauce. The experience was an 8 and I would go back and highly recommend it.
Good sushi and apps. Service was excellent - Cai did a great job and was very attentive. Restaurant was clean and easy to find.
My favorite Japanese sushi Buffet place!! My kids and I love it here. 😀
what is a better thing in the world than unlimited sushi! This place is made of dreams since Im a sushi connoisseur. I love going there!! The sushi is always fresh with great pieces and all for around $36 😍 Ive been to more expensive sushi places with less quality and quantity. And the service is amazing!! Im honestly curious about the economics of this place
Great bargain for AYCE sushi, sashimi, handrolls, grilled and fried foods. Service is always good, I often go to the Vacaville location, and both locations get packed. Food is always good. Make sure to sign up for Yelp for early reservation, or you can also show up early, too. Would come back!
If you like sushi, sashimi and grilled hamachi Kama, grilled salmon, and more. This is your go to restaurant. And if you’re senior the will give a discount. Very friendly staffs. Best to call for a reservation because it’s busy.
All you can eat sushi buffet. Loved the service and I was seated next to the sushi bar which was cool too. My top favorite were Spicy seared salmon, salmon sashimi, spider hand roll. The wait time was 65 minutes (I joined the waitlist online and then checked in to their iPad once I was there). Went on Sunday for dinner and the bill came out to be $37 ($32.99+tax - excluding tips). Highly recommend and will visit again!!!
All you can eat sushi. Prepare to wait to get seated . Long line but definitely worth the wait . The fish is fresh and wide and extensive variety . My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is nice and fast customer service. Highly reccomended
We used to go to the Davis location and were so sad to see it go, luckily the Concord location is better than ever! Truly unlimited, including sashimi, specialty plates, hand rolls, and nigiri. Highly recommended checking out their menu and making a game plan before you visit - though even if you don't have a plan, you won't be disappointed! Order early and pave yourself to get all the sushi you can. If you can, make reservations beforehand - it makes it much easier to get a seat on busy weekends. Once again though, if you have to wait, it's definitely worth it! The sushi is fresh, very tasty, and it's a fun experience all around while still being very affordable.

Great food, the sashimi is fresh! For the price you get a huge variety of rolls, appetizers, custom rolls and deserts.

Have eaten here many times. The food has always been excellent, the service is good. I will continue to patronize this restaurant.
For the price, it’s worth it, the sushi is decent for buffet, either come early or 1.5 hours before closing. If you want the sashimi and other good roles, you got to line up and ask for it. At the peak of the night, it can be hectic. I come around 7:30 pm till closing and I can avoid the crowd
I understand why the pricing is high because seafood is getting harder to come by, and it's a buffet. But if you're charging at least 30$ per person, at least portion your profits to have proper bathroom amenities. (air freshener & toilet lid cover refilling)
Fuji Sushi Buffet is a great spot to get a lot of food for a reasonable price. The dishes come out quickly, and they offer à la carte options alongside a wide range of appetizers. It’s a good pick for families or large groups, and they’re kid-friendly, we had three kids with us and it worked well. There’s also a decent selection of beer and sake wine to go with your meal. Parking is convenient with a free lot, and the wait time was minimal (under 10 minutes). Overall, a solid and satisfying buffet experience.
Came in on a weekday around 2. Perfect timing because there was no wait. So much variety of sushi and food to choose from. Love that they have sashimi here. Service is great and pretty fast if you order from the menu items. They're constantly making new sushi rolls that you can choose from. Everything is taste and looks fresh. Great place for AYCE Japanese food.
Sushis were good. The tempura and fried softshell crab had to much breading. Other than that it was ok.
I made a reservation through Yelp on a Wednesday at 5pm. There were a few people waiting at opening time. We went in in the order we booked and the seats were not full. I ordered appetizers and desserts from the staff, and went to the sushi bar to order the rest of the sashimi and hand rolls. All food was fresh and delicious. Personally, the mackerel and salmon sashimi were the best.
Fuji is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, whether it's for a dinner date or a birthday -- It's not a fancy place to get dressed up for but if you're looking for good food & service - this is a promising place to hit. My favorites are their salmon sashimi plate, alaska handroll, spicy seared salmon, and the caterpillar roll. As for their apps, I usually grab a miso & the veggie tempura (I personally ask them to only give me the green beans, so good)) PRO TIPS: 1- As it goes for any AYCE restaurant, I'd recommend saving your appetite for this as you may want to eat more than you can. 2 - If you have a small group (less than 4), try to get the bar so you can have the revolving sushi bar in front of you which is fun for friends / family that haven't been before. 3 - Ask the sushi chefs for half the portion of sushi rolls, especially if you want to try more things & are starting to fill up. I have this restaurant down at 4 starts as I think there's room for improvement within the service department: It would be for the waiters to check-in a bit more frequently as I feel like they typically only check-in on you when you're first seated to get you drinks & apps but they rarely come back around unless they're dropping off your check at your table (this is coming from someone that goes probably once a month). Overall, I always recommend this to friends that like raw fish & sushi.
Fuji Sushi Buffet in Concord offers fresh, diverse sushi and cooked dishes at a reasonable price. It's a popular spot, so expect a wait. What I like: Hand-Rolls are delicious Dislike: Unagi Sashimi has bad texture and taste
Great value. Full lunch with fried oyster, multiple plates sashmi, dragon roll, and fried banana. This was about $30 including tip.
3.7 stars.. Before the pandemic, we used to go to Fuji Buffet once a year in Vacaville. It's been more than 3 years since our last visit. We decided to TREAT ourselves, we went to the Fuji Buffet in Concord for lunch which was about $98 for 3 people, basically $32.xx per person (just water, tax, and tip included.) Not bad, though the older I get the less I can eat at a buffet. Still, an awesome deal. The service at the Concord location was prompt and friendly, but we still prefer the Vacaville location bc we think the food quality is better, even though the service is a bit slower.
Great services with attentive staff and many chefs making fresh sushi at the counter. I wish each portion is smaller, so you get to taste more variety before stuffed up😂. Lunch is great deal since you don't need dinner that night.
My second visit and did not disappoint this time around. Glad I gave it a second shot. First time was a 3 hour wait during their grand opening in a weekend in Concord. I recommend a weekday visit and coming early. Staff was efficient and friendly. Would come again.

I will say, I think it's pretty hard to find good sushi + sashimi specific stores in the bay area without hella breaking the bank. This place, however, is a sushi-focused buffet, which initially had me worried. After all, my experience with buffets in America typically falls in the line of "mediocre food, but you can have as much as you want". This place exceeded my expectations. The sashimi was actually quite good, on par with the quality of sashimi in standard, cheap chains in Japan, like Kura. You might think that's not much, but it's actually pretty high praise; after having been to Japan, I haven't been satisfied with the quality of sashimi for a similar price point, until I came here. Not that this place is blowing my socks off, but for the quality of the sashimi they're serving up, making it ayce is very, very impressive. Would recommend. The only thing I don't like about this place is the interior design. Man, it's bright in there, and everything is tiled white. Doesn't feel super comfortable to be in.

Not quite like the Davis location. Not on par with Vacaville. This one in Concord just recently opened so they're probably still trying to learn the ropes. Service was slow. There's only ONE guy doing the orders so the line was long (see photo). Sashimi also isn't very fresh. The flesh had started to slime. There's not much variety on the ready to grab section, and same can be said on the conveyor. I love the Vacaville location and I hope this one in Concord improves. Notice to sushi and rolls lovers. This isn't your authentic Japanese food joint. I did NOT see a single Japanese employee when we went. +3 stars for location, same ambiance, and generic food -2 for quality of food, slow service, and inefficient management of workers.
3.8 stars Sushi hit the spot. Everything was pretty fresh and flavorful, and the sushi makers were super quick and efficient. I really liked the ikura, nigiri, and all the different rolls—especially the unagi and tempura. They even had hamachi kama, which was a nice surprise. Not high-end, but definitely solid. Great variety and worth coming back!! Service was so so, food was great, the sushi makers were super quick In making sushi
This place does deserves 4, however is lacking a good supervision and managers touch. No doubt has a great business model with digital check-in, limited dining time, excellent cleaning requirements (not a single dish during our bunny experience was left dirty on the table). From the moment we came in on Saturday at 5:45 PM we had to wait till 6:45 PM to get seate at the regular table. Come on, people came later, and were seated ahead of us. Well, we got a cool spot right at the end of the order line that constantly kept on changing. Great service, and excellent busboy, that kept on coming, and taking care of us throughout the experience. Food wise - I would like to go back for more! With the variety of sashimi and rolls, they have, that food intake could never stop. Good idea to have the customers dining time limited, otherwise they would need to put the dolly by the door. Would definitely stood out, was a Fresh Fish Combo and Hamachi Kama. Dragon roll was the beast, however, could not compete with the rest of the menu appetizers. Ambience is something that requires the attention Constantly moving tables make this place look disordered. Some chair renovation might be needed as well. Most importantly, the check-in line and positioning within the dining hall is what matters and does requires management support. Please come in and give this tasty, Japanese restaurant a try.
The conveyor belt had almost nothing on it, everything needed to be ordered from the counter and then you stand there waiting for it to be made. Dinner price is excessive for what it is. Sushi was tasty for the most part, but not many options besides nigiri, sashimi, and then a bunch of rolls covered in sauce or deep fried. A lot of their rolls had shrimp as the filler for some reason like the caterpillar and dragon rolls which is bizarre.

As sushi fans, my husband and I decided to try this place for lunch. The sushi was okay..not bad, but not amazing either. The service was a bit slow, though that was understandable since it was lunchtime and the restaurant was packed. On the plus side, the portions were very generous. If you enjoy sushi, want to try a variety of options, and don’t want to spend a lot of money, this buffet is worth checking out!!

First time and would not come back. I guess AYCE sushi is really synonymous with bad sushi. Front of house staff were polite, but I was just really disappointed with the quality of fish and mouth feel. My tastebuds and stomach are not happy. You would think that a place that does this much volume would have super fresh ingredients, but they were not. Pros: Recommend ordering kitchen items, they were better than the sushi counter, which I greatly disliked. Sushi counter also had the rudest people.
First time here, and I wouldn’t come back. They don’t accept tap cards like Apple Pay or Samsung Pay, which was really disappointing. Also, I had to order sushi at the counter and wait for it to be ready for pickup, not a great experience.
This is not sushi! The rice was awful, the nori looked a gross green and tasted like cardboard, the spicy mayo tasted like BK whopper sauce, the wine was gross, the fried chicken didn't even taste kike chicken and slid into a greesy unflavored mess, and they premake sushi that could be sitting out for hours. Anyone that comes here,.. I can't believe you think this is sushi and waste your money on bad food and questionable ingredients! Not worth the money by any means, just cause it's a buffet. Which by the way they will charge you if you don't eat it all.
