Would have been 5 stars but they messed up my order. Asked for No pico, receipt said no pico but there was a ton of pico in it. Made the burrito cold n watery. But the Bean Dip smacked. Great place, maybe just a simple mistake. I'll be back of course

Ive been eating here for about 15 years. This is by far the absolute best Mexican food in the whole bay area, they have awards all over their walls from Diablo magazine that say the same thing year after year. My only 1 problem with this place is they moved from right around the corner from my house to a few blocks away. That's not the big issue though. When they moved their prices doubled. Of course it was right around the pandemic and everyplace prices went up on food, gas, clothes etc so I suppose it's not their fault but a 3.75 cheapy taco that was a bit expensive to begin with is now 4.50. So it's definitely not very affordable to eat out there but no place is. I would imagine the only place to get a 3.75 taco would be taco bell. If you can afford authentic Mexican food then treat yourself to this place the food is awesome. Mexican food is my favorite and this does not disappoint.

Los Panchos was a "Pleasant" surprise in Pleasant Hill. I went for lunch and git dinner too. The atmosphere was clean but there is no room for indoor dining and it was raining outside. The food was pretty good and they give you a decent amount of food for your money. I would recommend this place to someone looking for some good Mexican food in the area.

Been going here for years. The best nacho chip bean dip and carne aside small burritos... The other stuff maybe doesn't taste that great, but these 2 items are top notch

Credit card machines were down..... Had to give them my credit card information with one of those old school carbon paper sliders. Fingers crossed I don't have my information stolen! Decent food, but not worth the massive headache almost every time I come here. The service is awful.

Dinosaurs Rule

I miss the old place. The new location being right by the college they're catering to kids with no sense of taste. It's a huge bummer, I've eaten their food for many years and now I have to find a new go to place. There's so much to eat around there that I just won't be going back even if im right down the street.

If you decide to patronize this restaurant, make sure the regular managers/staff are working. 99% of the time the food and service is amazing, however, I made the mistake of going this past Wednesday (which happened to be ash Wednesday) and the quality of the food and service was horrible. The staff who is normally there wasn't there. The staff who was there was rude and failed to acknowledge I was patiently waiting for assistance because they more concerned about sorting out their orders from junenov tea next door instead of assisting me with my pick up order. The black beans in my burritos were undercooked and when I asked for salsa, which is usually more than enough for the number of items in my order, the front counter staff had an attitude and slammed 2 salsas on the counter for the 3 items in my order. Unfortunately, as much as I love this place, I won't be back after this experience.

The food was good! the burrito was large, but mostly rice.. The price you see on the menu is not the price you pay at the register!! Now I know why there was no permanent sign with menu prices.. Update your menu prices please!

Service was great, but not so sure what was happening in the kitchen this time. My taco salad was definitely missing some important ingredients - sour cream, guacamole, and salsa so I was disappointed since it is listed as ingredients in the dish. The shell was crispy and the asada was flavored well, but this dish just didn’t taste like how it should. I’ve had other dishes here before without any problems so I would give this place another chance.
