Great food, Fresh, Tasty and generous portion for the price. Amazing customer service, quick and efficient… definitely, we’re coming back!! Those Triangle pita breads comes with the hummus are absolutely delicious.
The shawarma was absolutely wonderful. The taste was delicious, and the fries—and everything else—were fresh. Amazing customer service
I absolutely Love their food you got try it, most every time we go to Mooresville I have a the Veggies with the Lo Mein Noodels.
Delicious! I got the Shawarma fries. The chicken was well seasoned, the sauce was flavorful, and everything was hot and fresh. I think this place deserves its own 4 walls, it’s too good for the mall food court. I will be coming to the mall every time I’m in town just so I can eat here. It took them about 10 minutes after ordering for our food to be ready, which is slow for a mall food court but it was definitely worth the wait to have the food be fresh.
Wow, very unexpected! Very good food! Rivals any Greek restaurant in the area. Definitely try this place! You won't regret it! And the bakuva was perfect!
My Greek salad with chicken was good and my friends chicken and beef shawarma was excellent with bold flavor. It was pricey for the amount of food, but we still enjoyed our lunch.
I had the beef shawarma plate and my wife had the falafel plate. Both dishes were very flavorful. The side of baba ghanoush was very good as well
For a location in a mall I was so impressed with the great food. It is so hard to find good healthier food and I’m going to continue my patronage. Thank you so much!
Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised how quick the food came out and how fresh it was. The worker was super nice and I’m so glad that they’re here in mall since there’s not a ton a variety
The food was amazing, taste nice and fresh, the workers were so polite and over all was a great experience, definitely recommend for people who are more healthy eaters.
The owner was incredibly kind and personable. I told him I had vegetarian restrictions and he recommended what was on the menu. He even got me a sample of the Baba Ghanouj--which was delicious. The food was plentiful. The fries were seasoned and came with a sauce. I've had falafel at one other place before this and wasn't impressed. Famous Shawarma was MUCH better. The baklava was also good! Not as sticky syrupy sweet as the stuff you get in the store. As a vegetarian, I'm so glad this place exists!
We had a late lunch here and oh my goodness it was delicious! The chicken shawarma plate was amazing, flavorful and plentiful! My picky 9 year old got the wrap and he loved it, said it was the best food ever. The service was good, and all the food tasted fresh! Loved the hummus, husband got the beef shawarma and said it would be hard to choose something different next time. I really want to try the falafel too. I am shocked this is a place in a mall food court, I wish them so much success!
Food is great. The rice and protein options were flavorful. I personally enjoyed the schwarma meat more than the kabob meat as my chicken kabob was drier than the beef schwarka. The tzatziki sauce is really good. Must drench over the food for best result. The portions are fair considering the prices and that it is being served in the mall. This place saves me a trip going to the larger cities when craving middle eastern food. I'd recommend it. If you're wondering if it's any good, try it. You'll discover a new spot and new type of food to seek out and eat.
We didnt really want to go in once we discovered it was in the mall food court but im glad we did. The flavor was great and the service was as well. I agree the prices are a little high for the quantity, but the quality made up for it
I order a late lunch for our shop workers and myself, the food was very good. We ordered the Chicken Kabob with rice, veggies and humus, the Beef Shawarma with the same and one Chicken Shawarma Wrap with fries. The Beef Shawarma and Chicken Kabob were dynamite! I highly recommend it to everyone. The Chicken Shawarma Wrap needs improvement along with the fries which need to be more crispy and seasoned. I say a 4/5 stars and I will be back!
Not worth the price, very costly I spend 60+ dollars just got 1 sandwich 1 Shwarma and 1 mix over rice very costly for 3 things And very small portion given still figuring out they charge me for what very disappointed as for as for the taste no complaints taste was much better then some other shwarma store but rest services was very slow I got the food after 30 minutes and they told wait time is 5-10 minutes.
Unfortunately this restaurant did not meet our expectations. It was very overpriced for what you get. The hummus with Shwarma was tiny, and nowhere near what was represented on the website. It’s $8 for a small side of Baba Ghanouj, and the sad part is they do not serve it with pita. They serve it with very greasy pita “chips” that overwhelm the flavor of the delicious Baba Ghanouj. I was specifically wanting Mediterranean for the fresh flavors, but instead I feel sick from the grease. I will say, the Gyro Wrap was the best thing we got, and probably the only thing that was worth the money for us. Sadly it was just in a wrap, and not pita. The chicken in the Chicken Kebab was pretty good, but the rice was my least favorite rice I’ve had at a Mediterranean restaurant. I think there’s a lot of potential here, but they should make some adjustments, especially getting pita!
It’s a mall so the atmosphere is what it is. Our food did come out quick and the gentleman that took our order was nice. Sad thing is I tried this place when it opened and was impressed, but it’s obviously been a while. The gyro came in a tortilla and was wrapped like a burrito and was small and didn’t taste like a gyro. I had the hummus which was good, but they serve it with bread chips instead of pita.. the first time I went I remember thinking how authentic it was especially for being in the mall. Now it’s just mall food, and not even good mall food at that.
Finally got over to try Famous Shawarma. I had really high hopes for this place since there's so few options for Mediterranean food in the area. I'll try to be as fair as possible in my review. We got the beef shawarma and gyro wrap with fries. The gyro wrap was not very good. It seemed like the wrap was a typical store bought wheat wrap. The meat lacked flavor, all in all just very meh. The fries were good and crispy and by far the best part of this meal. On to the beef shawarma. The beef was dry and lacked flavor. The rice was extremely bland. The sauces were all good but it needed way more than the couple of small plastic cups of sauce for this to be decent. I got the babaganouj as the side and it was excellent. I'm glad I got to try it, but it didn't have nearly enough flavor for me so I won't be back.
