Tip: Go for the Tex-Mex, not necessarily authentic Mexican. Try the creamy jalapeño dip and ask your server about potential allergens.

Chuy’s is absurdly delicious, like the kind of delicious that makes you question every life choice that led you to not eating there sooner. The shrimp tacos? Unreal. They’re so perfectly seasoned it feels like the shrimp got a pep talk before hitting the grill. Every bite is like, “Oh wow, I didn’t know happiness came in taco form.” And the chile relleno 😩😩 Overall: 10/10, Chuy’s is the kind of restaurant that makes you say “I’m full” and then keep eating anyway because self-control is no match for that level of delicious.
I had a great experience here. The salsa and creamy jalapeno dip was awesome as well as the endless chip refills. The food and drinks were tasty and the service was good. The decor was fun, and the bathroom was clean.
My family truly loves Chuys! We do not go for authentic mexican food, beware we go for the absolute delicious tex-mex that it is! The creamy jalepeno dip 10/10, the queso 9/10 the chips are fresh and thin and refilled without them even asking. The menu is not huge which is a huge bonus because it limits how many things your mind has to pick. We go at least once a month. Love this restaurant.
Excellent Tex-Mex place. Cheese dip was great as were the cheese enchiladas. All the food was flavorful and hot. This isn't one of those "authentic" style places and thank goodness because those are just bland. Tex-Mex is the better option if you like food with flavor. Our server was great and filled our chips and drinks without us even having to ask.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chuys is hands-down my favorite spot in town. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing—every plate tastes like it was made with love. The vibe is fun and welcoming, but what really keeps me coming back is the team. Huge shout-out to Evonne, Marlene, and especially Weston—they’re absolute gems. Every visit they make me feel like family with their friendliness, quick service, and genuine smiles. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people are this good. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. Chewy’s is a local treasure!
If you’re searching for authentic Mexican cuisine in Arkansas, Chuy’s sets the standard. The quality is a noticeable step above many others I’ve visited in the state. The steak stands out immediately—thick, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, unlike the thin or overcooked cuts you often find elsewhere. The beans are flavorful with the right texture, not watery or bland. The rice tastes freshly prepared, complementing the meal rather than feeling like an afterthought. Even the chips and salsa impress; the dip is clearly made from scratch, full of vibrant flavors that prove the kitchen knows the difference between true authenticity and shortcuts. On top of the excellent food, the hospitality and customer service elevate the entire experience. The staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed, attentive without being overbearing, which adds warmth to the meal and leaves a lasting impression. Chuy’s delivers an experience that feels genuine, crafted by people who understand real Mexican cooking and care about their guests. Out of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Arkansas, this one offers some of the best food—and service—I’ve ever experienced.
We enjoyed our first time! Sara was super attentive and thoughtful. I personally loved all the hatch green chili options and think it’s wild someone would call this place bland. I left happily with my mouth burning. The atmosphere was a bit loud but not abnormal for the type of restaurant.
I have been here 3 times since it has opened and it is now one of my favorite places to go. The food is always hot and the fajitas were well seasoned. The guacamole was great as was the salsa & dips. Atmosphere is good except I found the music a bit too loud. Service was top notch. Will definitely be a returning customer.
My food was absolutely cooked to perfection our waitress Tae was amazing so sweet and always checking up on us! So I have a severe allergy to shellfish so I asked that they be aware of cross contamination and our kind waitress Tae was so kind to go out of her way to bring the kitchen manager to our table to insure me that they will make sure they prepare the area and insure that the cooks are aware of my situation. I am absolutely amazed at the overall experience! My husband and I will 100% be back! Thank you Chuys for taking my allergy into consideration in a timely and positive response! 10/5 ⭐️
I've been a fan of Chuy's for years now! I'm so excited to have one in Conway now. I've been able to go twice already. Once during their soft opening, and once after. At the soft opening I had the Comida Deluxe, my normal, and this weekend I had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom for the first time. This new Chuy's is excellent! Great food and great service. Big shout out to Raemia and Maghan who were fantastic servers! Definitely get some Creamy Jalapeño Dip when you go!
Food was very good. Clean place. The waiter needs to cut his 3" nails. Almost lost the plate of food. Very nice staff. Wish we found this place sooner. Love Mexican food.
When we got there it was busy and they took our name. We waited outside out of the way until we got a text to be seated. We were taken to a table on the covered patio that was in the sun. We opted for the table in the shade and as we were being seated a group came from behind us with another wait person who started yelling that we were sitting at their table and that they were in front of us and that they had chosen that table as they walked around to the entrance. The wait person asked us if we would mind moving to the sunny table but we decided to stay there. Then, the other table insisted that our wait person was supposed to wait on them as they had specifically asked for her. A group of your staff (4) stood there and let these crazy people tell them what to do. The other group only ordered children's plates and water while our group of 5 ordered full meals and appetizers. The wait person we had was okay but seem unsure how to deal with the situation. I had a Chile relleno that was really fresh and good but there is a spice in your refried beans that gave me instant heartburn. We ordered some extra sauces that were rather good as well. We only ordered teas, sodas and water as we were going to the hospital afterwards to visit a family member. Just maybe train your staff to deescalate entitled customers. My sister was concerned that their wait person didn't get tipped for serving that group. They were obnoxiously loud to boot. We got a sampler plate that tasty but our appetizers came at the same time as our meals...
We are just finished a volleyball game and decided to grab something to eat. We had not tried the Conway location of chewy‘s, so we thought why not. Chips and salsa came out quickly and were delicious. The staff kept our drinks flowing and our chips filled. They did a great job. The fajitas I shared with my daughter were very blah. The meat was in such large chunks. We had to cut them down just to be able to chew it, the veggies were undercooked considerably. My son’s burrito bowl was OK nothing crazy. The extra sauces that we ordered were not worth the money we spent on them. The overall experience was so so, it would probably be a while before we go back and try it again.
I have ordered from this location several times and it doesn’t get any better I get the enchiladas veggie, there is more flour then vegetables, very skimpy, this time I got cheese enchiladas and they are so hard and burned you can’t eat it. I’m done with Conway Chuy’s north Little Rock is way better even Little Rock location is well worth the trip
The waitress we had was nice and good at her job but management is the worst and treats everyone badly like they are all terrible when they are not. Whoever JD Williams is that runs the bar and thinks apparently the whole store definitely doesn’t need to work there if he’s gonna talk to customers and employees the way he does so rudely when I tried to talk to him about a drink and he told me I was wrong and knew nothing then watch him take it out on staff and makes threats of write ups and firing. Avoid this place at all cost and just drive to the one in Little Rock instead
I don't know where to start. Maybe I'm just not familiar with their cuisine but I've never in my life had chili used as enchilada sauce. So maybe thats just a me thing and other people love it but it would be nice if it was mentioned on the menu or by the wait staff. However I don't know a soul alive that orders cheese enchiladas that would expect or be happy with a cold tortilla wrapped around cold shredded cheese. The cheese wasn't melted, nor was it room temperature, it was COLD yellow shredded cheese. I don't know if they store cheese in a freezer but even 10 seconds in a microwave would have made it melt to some degree. My child said the two tiny chicken balls in their meal was ok but we spent 10+ minutes trying to flag down staff for ketchup before the kid said forget it let's just go. They weren't super busy, what appeared to be managers walking around supervising didn't bother checking on us or ask why I was trashing a full plate. Literally took one bite and about puked. I will say the chips and dip were OK. The tea was hot and immediately melted what little ice they'd put in my cup. Staff was super friendly but we won't be back. $50 on lunch for 1 adult and 1 child its crazy also. Especially when the food is trash.
