Taj Mahal Conway has become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the service is 2nd to none. Joseph is awesome. He is very professional and friendly and is always willing to recommend a new dish. He remembers you when you return and always makes you feel welcome. Cannot recommend enough!!

We usually order takeout from here, but tonight we decided to dine in and I’m so glad we did. Everything was absolutely fantastic, from the food to the service. The staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which really elevated the experience. A special shout-out to Joseph, who was incredible and even introduced me to my new favorite adult beverage, the Chai Old Fashioned! Highly recommend!

I haven’t been inside since the renovation and it has been the best dining experience in Conway. Nothing beats the fresh cooked in-restaurant experience. Signature drinks, great naan, no over spicing food while maintaining full flavor, poppadaums, and a friendly family home atmosphere. Nothing better than that. I will never order from uber again. It’s so worth the dine-in experience and the flavors are so much more bangin’ on the fresh dish. I love this place.

I have been wanting to try the Taj Mahal but was always nervous to do so by myself. My friend recommend we try it together and it did not disappoint. It made me wish I had gone a long time ago! The food was good, but having Joseph walk us through the menu and how we specifically wanted it was greatly appreciated. We will be back, with more friends for sure! We had the chicken and fish tikka, both were very tender and flavorful. Basmati rice. Butter sauce. Garlic Parmesan naan and coconut naan, which could definitely be had as a dessert! All of it did not disappoint.

My girlfriend and I attended the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant in Conway a few days ago a hour or so before close. We were attended to by a lovely pair of staff members and we ordered two things of Chicken Tikka Masala (which came with wonderful Basmati Rice), mine South Indian Style and hers Mild. We also ordered Garlic Naan for both of us, as well as a Schezwan Fries Starter. Sorry for the bad Naan pictures, but everything was SOOO good. The male representative who attended to me asked me multiple times if I was sure as it was super spicy (which I'm used to, I love spicy foods). He ended up checking on me multiple times throughout my meal, showing immense concern for my well being and overall experience of the meal. It was phenomenally sweet and considerate. He did the same with other tables as well and made sure that they were taken care of. I don't know the name of the individual which I regret. I highly recommend this restaurant. In terms of the food, it was fantastic. I WILL be back. We both enjoyed our time immensely.

This is literally our favorite restaurant in Conway!!! It was our first date and now tonight was a celebration for my 51st birthday. Joseph was amazing!!! Food…..amazing and always is!!!

We had a party of 10 to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was perfect. Joseph (owner with wife) run this business immaculately. The food was excellent, the service was superb and the backroom provided privacy and an intimate experience. This was the best experience with a large group. We’ve eaten here before, and it was as equally amazing, multiple times!! Highly recommend an authentic dinner from India!!!

Phenomenal service and phenomenal food! I got the manchow soup and it was flavored and spiced perfectly! I highly recommend! The atmosphere was beautiful and very clean. Have vegetarian options as well. Will say if you're not used to spice, I would recommend American spice or mild, because my mom got medium and it was too spicy for her. But we will be back for sure!

We had such a wonderful experience while dining at the Taj Mahal. This was a busier day than usual as they had a large party they were serving, even with that they provided excellent service and food was absolutely fantastic. We’ve been to many states and countries and had Indian food. The Taj Mahal blew us away with the spice and flavors of all the dishes we ordered. The staff and owner were very helpful while ordering and got our spice level spot on. Give them a try, only regret is we leave tomorrow and won’t be able to come back for more delicious dishes. Thank you again for the experience.

Taj Mahal Indian kitchen in Conway was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! We were greeted and sat promptly by a warm and welcoming gentleman who made us feel like a priority. The restaurant was very clean, smelled wonderful and was decorated very minimal. Quite the relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the samosa for our appetizer and they were delicious, fresh and flavorful. Our main dish was the lamb curry with garlic nan, it arrived piping hot and aesthetically pleasing. The lamb was tender and juicy and the rice was cooked to perfection! We are excited to find an Indian restaurant in Conway that exceeds our expectations, will definitely be making a return visit soon!

WOW!!! The food was outstanding, really if you’re looking for Amazing 😻 Indian food look no further. All our dishes, Lassis and desert were just to die for! Our server was Joseph and he was very kind, attentive and pleasant. However I will say this— when it was time for our check I specifically asked him after getting the total “does this total include your tip?” he said “no ma’am”, so I proceed to add 25% to the cc. Once I received the receipt it showed that his tip 20% had already been added so he got 45% when in doubt ask for the PRINTED receipt. Learned my lesson. I don’t think he did that on purpose but it’s kinda of a big difference. All in all —the 6 of us were completely satisfied with our food, thanks for sharing your Indian Art of cooking with us. Tip mishap is why I gave it 4 ⭐️

It was a mixed feeling of good and okay food taste. People were nice and polite. I would recommend the karahi paneer and paneer tikka masala. Tandoori chicken and shrimp 🍤 was okay. The portion size was relatively small compared to the usual Indian restaurants. A lot of people came for pick up but not so many for dine in.

A very clean restaurant. The chicken tika masala was a bit different than other masala’s that I’ve had at other restaurants. This one wasn’t as soupy and a bit richer red color. It was still very good. Garlic naan was good some parts were crispier than others. Restaurant has a full bar available as well. I would go back.

Food was amazing, service was pretty horrible. The server was polite, but that didn’t excuse the delay all throughout our meal. My husbands royal grill platter came out before the rice, naan or my smaller meal… I would have expected the opposite. We waited quite a long time for wine. Had to ask for water where our glasses ran dry. Each time we needed service, we had to raise our hand. Our server was not attentive. It took about 15 mins for the masala chai to come to our take. But like I said, food was wonderful. I’m not sure if I would be willing to dine in again with how poor the service was. Our entire dining experience was over 2 hours, on a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. It was also freezing inside. In December. We ate with our winter coats on. Not a cozy environment.

They are trying to give the vibe of a upscale place when their food and service is mediocre at best. We ordered the lamb biryani and Rogan Josh, both didn't meet our expectations. Almost all the other Indian restaurants we went to have bigger portion size and lower price. Also, it wasn't that busy but they took a long time to take order and serve the food. The stuffs were making small talks but from my view they could direct that energy on service.
