Happy Peking House

This place had the best lo mein I've ever had. The rest of their food was above average as well. As of lately their food tastes like straight peanut butter due to the large amount of peanut oil they use. I also think they are one of the more pricier Chinese food places.

Place is in a downhill slide. Soups lack flavor. Eggrolls have no flavor at all and no crispy instead soggy. Not edible. They used to be good, not anymore.

We went here because we’ve read good reviews but we were wrong. :( The rice was undercooked and the honey walnut shrimp tastes just like mayonnaise (actually, Hellman’s mayonnaise taste better than the sauce they gave you). We’ll give them credit for fast service though.

It's really gone down hill a lot unfortunately. I just ordered lunch and the broccoli on my plate was literally still frozen. The chicken was obviously over fried in oil that hadn't been changed frequently enough. They are nice - the food was just not worth it. QQ in new Windsor is much better.

Who wants to pick through garlic sauce to de-tail their shrimp? Raw spring rolls.. i had hopes for this place Edited.. and the shrimp roll is raw as well ... Updated from 5 years ago It is now December 29th 2025 And they still put in tail on shrimp in their specials... But now it is so inconsistent You don't know what you're going to get either bland or bland and inconsistent Do better

We normally have limited issues but I found a HUGE chicken bone in my chicken fried rice. I'm pissed and since it was found while reheating it's past the complaint time. Just posting because it's unacceptable

This people sold me 4 fried chicken wings cut them in half (1/2) and said 8 piece for$ 10:50 which 4 chicken wings cost$ 6:00 anywhere else. Never again. Don't go to this place go to Chinatown, Google Chinatown Chinese restaurant

This place is your typical upstate spot. They know your coming in and spending your money and they don't have to do anything to earn it. I just picked up food on 4/21/17. I walked in and noticed the workers/family were all eating at a table like they are always doing. They sat there and finished their meal approx 5 min untill the female came and rang me up. She then dropped my wrapped egg roll on the floor and put it in my bag. I told her to give me a new one and she was annoyed. Like I said your typical Cornwall spot. They know your spending your money there and they don't even pretend to try to make you happy. I am not going anymore.

This place is ridiculous! My wife ordered boneless spare ribs waited over 20 minutes for her order , only to get home and they gave ribs with a bone! When she called to complain they told her to “save the ribs” “ save the ribs” and bring them back whenever and they will exchange them at that time!! This is the worst example of customer service Ive ever come across!! Dont go here!! We asked them to come and bring us the right item as a courtesy and they said they don’t deliver! We know this but my wife is hungry you messed up her order and now your telling her not to eat!! Utterly disgraceful and disgusting customer service!!!

Worst Chinese takeout I have ever had. Egg drop soup and fried rice had no flavor. Cold sesame noodles tasted strangely sour with no discernible sesame flavor.

Absolutely has gone way down hill. Used to have wonderful dim sum, now it's a regurgitate d mess of overly soggy pastry and half inch of starchy water on the bottom of take out containers. We has to dispose of it. If I get food poisoning, that one bite was the culprit, I used to love their food, I've never posted a complaint before, but this food was beyond edible.

If i could give ZERO STARS i will. Very unprofessional and rude. Im a foodie and i love trying new places but the Food is nasty dont even bother..

Normalmente tenemos problemas limitados, pero encontré un enorme hueso de pollo en mi arroz frito de pollo. Estoy enojado y, dado que se encontró al recalentar, ya ha pasado la hora de queja. Just posting because it's unacceptable

Ha ido a peor. Antes comían un dim sum maravilloso, ahora es un desastre de masa pastosa y 1,25 cm de agua con almidón en el fondo de los envases de comida para llevar. Tenemos que tirarlo. Si me intoxico, ese bocado es el culpable. Antes me encantaba su comida; nunca me había quejado, pero esta comida era incomible.
