I just wanna start off by saying that Mayaa was so amazing. We just want to thank her again! She was an amazing waitress. It was our first time there! We came in for my birthday and there were 12 of us. She took good care of us. She is so nice and helpful towards all of us. The food was amazing! We will definitely come back!
Isaiah was great he was very helpful and patient with our large party ! The food was good and the atmosphere was nice :)
So stoked to see this open! This is a great local crab boil restaurant. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is very attentive. The menu is awesome, and I wish you could smell the photos! Had the Crab Fries and they were amazing. The captains Chowder in the bread bowl was really tasty, and all the garlic and butter shrimp were to die for. And the Lemon Pepper wings were like a stand out too. You can order ala carte or go with a combo. Either way you will be very happy! I will be back soon to try out more stuff!
Great food, we waited a little long for the waiter to come to our table at first. However he did explain it was just him in the front. Makes sense for a Tuesday night. The food was extremely delicious. The server and staff were friendly. Clam chowder was amazing. The oysters were ok but overall 9/10 I would definitely go back.
I had such a great experience at this seafood boil spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. What really made the visit extra fun was the robot that delivers the food! Such a cool and unique touch and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive too. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!! Definitely recommend! This place is amazing!
Crab N Spice offers bold, flavorful seafood in a laid-back, fun setting. If you enjoy Cajun/seafood-boil style dining and don’t mind a lively atmosphere — this is a strong pick in the Corona area. The place is hands-on (seafood boils, shells, sauce, etc.), so expect to get messy in the best way. If you’re going for the AYCE deal, keep in mind it’s offered Monday–Thursday (not always weekends). Family-friendly and fun vibe — casual dining, shareable seafood booms, a place that works for both a night out and a family meal. If you’re in the mood for a seafood spot that delivers bold flavor, lively ambiance, and generous portions, Crab N Spice in Corona is certainly worth a visit.
We made the journey from Oceanside after discovering this place on TikTok, and I have to say, it was well worth it! The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the crabalicious, which was so generous, it was more than enough for my wife and our two young children. Our host, Isaiah, was incredible and made our experience even better. Thank you all for such a wonderful meal and warm hospitality!
Had a great experience at Crab N Spice! The service was friendly from the moment we walked in. The staff checked in just the right amount without being overbearing, and you could tell they actually enjoy what they do. I ordered the shrimp bag and it was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. You can really taste the quality, and the spice level was spot on. They also have a surprisingly great selection of craft beers, which is a nice touch and pairs perfectly with the seafood. Prices were more than fair for the quality and portions—definitely a solid value. Highly recommend!
First time here and I will admit the food and service was amazing! Flavor was on point and for the price of AYCE was definitely worth it. Our server Andrew was very attentive and very nice. He was always checking up on us making sure we were good. Again great service with great food. 10/10 would recommend.
OH MY GOD 😵 the BEST seafood restaurant ever. I’m not a sea food eater, BUT the food I tried here was super amazing. The sauces, the variety, the flavors ❤️❤️❤️ I will DEFINITELY be back and I will being my friends and clients here for sure. You won’t regret, actually you will make it your favorite spot ❤️🥰 I RECOMMEND 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I ordered CNS Captain’s basket, fried calamari, lemon chicken wings
Absolutely Amazing Experience at Crab N Spice! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The food is absolutely incredible — full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they take pride in their dishes. The service? 100 out of 10! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. If you have any questions, they explain everything with patience and a smile. Overall, the experience was flawless.
First trial for Crab n spice was a pleasant one, a table for 7 and we were seated in less than 5 minutes, our waitress Avery was always smiling and very attentive and nice, thank you Avery! The food took less than 15 minutes, the garlic lemon sauce is tasty and very delicious, shrimps, clams and crab fries was great, portions are good and the sauce is very tasty, definitely a great experience and would love to try everything on the menu, the manager was so nice and welcoming and personally welcomed us and made sure we had no complaints! Thank you for the great hospitality and taste
I am thoroughly impressed with this establishment. It is exceptionally clean and spacious, and the staff demonstrated remarkable kindness. The chefs excelled in their culinary expertise, particularly with the mussels, chicken wings, and crabs, which were all exquisitely flavored. The seasoning was perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor bland. This has undoubtedly become my new preferred spot. Thank you Chef Ivan and staff!
I went here with my girl and did the All-You-Can-Eat. It was $40 per person. So spent about $90 for 1.5 lb of shrimp, 1lb of mussels, scallops and sausage and corn. For the money i didnt think it was worth it. I would rather do one of their party trays for $50. They bring you a tray at a time and you can only choose 4 sides at time which was lame and wanted all the sides at once. The first batch we did the Crab N Spice sauce at the spicy level. It had no flavor at all so I didn’t recommend getting that. So our server Maya recommended the Some spicy garlic butter for the second tray and that one had alot more flavor. We did the assassin for the spice level because if you like spicy food, you have to go with the highest level because I personally think it wasn't spicy. Our server Maya was amazing. She was always checking in on us and got our orders ahead of time before we finished our first tray. The service and atmosphere is top tier. I was looking for a seafood boil spot closer to home. I would drive to Moreno Valley for Shrimp Factory or Kickin Crab in Chino because they were the best spots in my opinion. This will be 5 stars if they worked on seafood boil sauce more. I dont like water down sauce
Oh my gosh so much good food it was so filling! We had a little of everything. The seasoning for the seafood was deliciously spicy and packed with flavor! The garlic noodles were great and the friessss I had so many fries with my food I can't imagine how many actual potatoes I ate! They also had this really cool robot that dropped off our drinks and request for us that was just awesome! They gave us to go bags for everything we didn't finish and there was no hassle about it! Will definitely be going back with my family and friends again to support their business!
Boil is great, very flavorful. Prices are okay, even with increase. Dislike that accommodations (dietary restrictions) cant be made even when business is still being given. But I get "rules". Just doesnt really encourage for returning, when experience ends up being a waste of money and food. Service is great, staff is friendly.
Went here for my 50th birthday dinner with my kids. We enjoyed our food. Cody was a great server. Thank you. Only thing that would be nice is even if someone is getting something other that the all you can eat. They should still be able to sit at the same table. Otherwise great first time experience. Ended my birthday with a great meal. Thank you
I came in with high expectations for a Cajun-style seafood boil, especially since I’m familiar with places like Hot N Juicy and Boiling Crab. While the food here is good overall, it definitely lacks that bold Cajun “kick” that those spots are known for. As someone who enjoys food and drinks and tends to look at things from a critic’s perspective, one thing that stood out was the beer presentation. I ordered a 16 oz beer, and while I’m not saying it wasn’t a true pint, the glass itself made it feel a bit short. From a consumer’s point of view, a taller glass with a tapered bottom might improve the visual appeal—especially for visual drinkers like myself. To the untrained eye, it can come off as less than a full pour even if it technically isn’t. Flavor-wise, the seafood was cooked well, but the Cajun boil flavor felt muted. The owner was kind enough to let us try a sauce that contained all the flavors, which I appreciated, but it still didn’t quite hit the depth or spice level we’re used to at other seafood boil spots. It’s hard to describe, but the signature Cajun punch just wasn’t there. That said, the food is not bad at all—just different. If you’re expecting something identical to Boiling Crab, Kicking Crab, or Hot N Juicy, be prepared for a lighter, more subtle flavor profile. It’s good food, just a different take on Cajun-style seafood.
We decided to dine here because we were intrigued by their AYCE offering. We were excited to try it out, but to our disappointment, we learned upon arrival that AYCE is only available Monday through Thursday. Since it was a Saturday night, this meant we couldn’t enjoy the AYCE experience. Unfortunately, this restriction wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu, which was frustrating. Already seated, we decided to order à la carte instead. For our group of four, we ordered two pounds of shrimp ($19.50/lb), a pound of clams ($15/lb), a fish and chips basket, and garlic noodles. We were provided gloves and bibs, which was a nice touch, as peeling Cajun shrimp can get messy. The sauce was fantastic, and the food itself was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the portions weren’t enough for four people, and we were still hungry. When we wanted to order more food, we realized our server hadn’t checked in on us since we initially placed our order. We estimated that it would take another 20-30 minutes to order more food (as it was starting to get busier), we decided to skip it, settle the $86 bill, and leave feeling unsatisfied. While the food was delicious, the lack of transparency about AYCE availability and the slow service left us disappointed. Expanding AYCE to weekends could make us reconsider returning!
First off, the hostess seemed like she was not enjoying her job. Maybe she was having a bad night, but don't take it out on customer. Our waiter was friendly and quick enough, over promised under delivered on... nothing. He was the best part of the resteraunt. Menu - Get them fixed. No one wants to see prices printed then written in faded ball point pin the new increased price. The ambiance was nice and appeared that everyone was having a good time. Wait time was about an hour, 18% charge to parties of 6 or more. Really, you know most people tip 20% +, but ok, I'm not tipping more if you're telling me im getting penalized because I've got 6 people with me. Lastly, the food. The portion size was ok to split a tray but not accurate. The castaway feeds 3-4 for $99 the Captains choice 1-2 for $50. Potatoes over boiled and watery inside, corn was not sweet and tasted like the rest of the meal. Chicken wings are good dry rub, onion rings are good and thick cut slices, pasta was over cooked mess. Dipping sauce is very sweet. Spicy 5 was equal to very light heat. Everything had the same taste, which was not flavorful. Well done on the lobster tail, which was rubbery. Shrimp was the only thing that tasted like seafood. Crab was Dungeness, so tiny amounts of meat, but again, no taste. All in all, it's not worth 250.00 dollars tab for one visit. I'll stick to Snow Crab in Temecula.
The place was a nice vibe, but I would never come back for these specific reasons. 1.) We ordered their “fan favorite” crab fries which were an utter disappointment. For 16.99 (or an additional 4.50 if you want extra “crab”) you could imagine the look on our faces when we realized they loaded the fries with imitation crab! For this to be a seafood boil restaurant, serving imitation crab is horrendous. It makes no sense to not be using real crab, then to almost charge $5 for additional crab. We took 3 bites at minimum and immediately sent them back to be thrown away and removed off the bill. Thankfully, that was done with no issue from the manager; however, slightly annoyed with the server repeatedly asking for a reason why we didn’t like them. Simply stated, we did not enjoy the flavor which was told, that is reason enough. 2. This may be a non issue to some, which we ended up just dealing with, but their spice level rating is not accurate. We like spice, but not a-lot. The “mild” spice tasted more like medium as it was very hot. We didn’t send back to not cause anymore issues, but just stick to the original to be safe if sensitive to spice. 3. After we returned the crab fries, we never seen our original server again. He was still helping others customers, but never came back to our table. We kept having to flag down another worker, who I believe was always cleaning off tables, for extra napkins and refills on our drinks. We did enjoy their garlic noodles and the flavor of the sauce (not the spice level), but not enough positives to give them a try again.
Be ready to pay an additional $40 on a bill . If your bill is $2 get ready to pay $40 . The service is absolutely unacceptable, they didn’t treat us like respected customers. I’ve eaten at this fine restaurant more than once so that’s why today I was confused . May God bless your business. If you’re in the area Check out the new SEAFOOD BOILER in Norco , great service , food portions and a better price . Check out for yourself . Eric was extremely rude he paced for us to leave . Eric may God bless you .
I hit up a bunch of seafood boil spots from LA to San Diego. This is one of the worst spots. From service to food. I read some of the reviews here and look like some people got lucky with great service and got tasty food. This place is really overpriced compared to Kickin Crab, Boiling Crab, Pier 88 and Shrimp Factory. This is my second time coming here. I came here to give them another chance because last time me and my friend did the all you can eat and still didn’t taste as good as other competitors. We tried different sauces. I always prefer the house or a blend of everything with medium spicy. If you like bland food then I guess this is the spot to eat. Food 1/5 ⭐️ So I bought 1lb of shrimp, sausage and a clam chowder breadbowl. Next time I’m going to bring in something to weigh the shrimp just because I’m bored. There is no way that is a pound because everywhere else we go, the pound of shrimp there are more in the bag. Paying $50 for this is INSANE 😂 They also charge you for gloves lol. The taste was yet again bland. We did medium spice and a mix of everything. Still 🗑️. The sauce is weak in my opinion. I didn’t take a picture of the clam chowder breadbowl but it was also disappointing. It was boring and had no flavor. I choose BJs clam chowder over this and that should say alot. Service 1/5 ⭐️ Last time I came I got really good service. This weekend I had the worst service. I had to go up to the front register like 2-3 different times to ask for forks, bibs and gloves. There was 6 of us and charged with an 18% service charge. This left a bad taste in my mouth. Imagine paying an extra $8 for no quality service… Atmosphere 4/5 ⭐️ The only thing great about this spot is the atmosphere. Drive the extra 20-30 minute to Pier 88 or Shrimp Factory 🦐 Too pricey for the amount of unflavored seafood boil you get and for no quality service. 👎
This place is over hyped and over priced. The food was gross and they charged each for every thing even for gloves. The fish is all frozen processed food. I ordered a cod and fries. The French fries Was cold and the cod was from Costco. I have bought it before for my kids it’s like fish sticks from the freezer section .I got a boil in the bag they charge you for each thing separately even the sauce and I got all of the flavors and it still wasn’t flavorful or good. They don’t use real eggs. They use little quill eggs and the food being overpriced and bad. The customer service is horrible. We waited over an hour to be seated and they were rude and the waiter kept on disappearing on us and , I will never go there again.
