We tried the new seasonal appetizer Hot Honey Feta Dip today, and it was awesome. I’m usually very strict with food, but I’ve been to this restaurant three times and everything has tasted great. The chef must be excellent! This place is definitely at the top of my list.
Oscar the waiter was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ALL THE TIME WALKING AROUND AND checking to see if everything was good. Plus we got a free brownie with our dinner plates.
Great addition to Corona. This was our 1st visit since Lazy Dog opened and we absolutely loved it. Great environment, love how open the whole place is. There is a outside patio also. We went on Sunday around 9:30am and sat right down. The Chile verde nachos for a starter was a huge portion and delicious. Also ordered the prime rib dip and also delicious. I have added the menu in my photos because they do not show prices on line. Service was excellent and we will definitely return. If you sign up for their eclub program you get a free starter or desert to use immediately. Great selection of alcoholic beverages.
I came to California for a business trip and decided to stop by this place as they accept dogs. (Which I love!) the server was kind, fast and had a smile on his face. I wish I remembered his name!! But, I came today and the server that I had was completely opposite of him. It sort of changed my experience as I was super excited to come back, but she was sort of mean to me for some reason. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or going through something… I’m very nice and understanding, but I just think she needs to learn better customer service, as I’m in the some what of the same industry. Overall, I won’t let the servers attitude change my opinion on this restaurant. The environment was great and my dog absolutely loved it!
My server Ashley was amazing 👏 she was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back! The food was amazing and perfectly cooked and done in a timely manner.
This is our favorite family brunch place because we can find inexpensive items that are delicious, the mimosas and bloody Marys are $6 and we can bring the dog and chill on the patio. I just heard the Temecula location closed and we are so bummed!!
It is Lazy Dog. We all know it is a well run restaurant chain with good food. I had the "Dirty Dog" hot dog. It certainly is not a traditional hot dog that you can pick up and eat. I definitely had to eat it with a fork and a knife. No problem. It was delicious. See the pic below. There is a hot dog under the chips and cole slaw. I don't even remember what was in it. Don't worry about it. It's good. I would definitely get it again. I also had a side salad. The greens were fresh and crispy as were the vegetables and croutons. The dining was clean. The ambiance is a little loud. Not saying it's bad, but it can be tough to have a conversation with us old timers who can't hear to well or talk loud enough. The staff was great. Very freindly and professional. The bathrooms were also very clean. Like any Lazy Dog restaurant, you really can't go wrong.
The restaurant was very busy the day we went, there were many people sitting in the waiting area. The inside was very noisy that night, so we sat at the patio where you can bring your dog with you, and the dog gets its own plate of water. The patio has a fire pit and people can sit around it which was very nice. The food is good and we will visit again.
Great place been here around 3 times and everytime great service staff ia very attentive also forgot to mention when we go it 15 to 20 ppl and never any problems food is always on spot.
Went in for brunch today and their unique pancake tacos are my new favorite breakfast item. Whoever decided to put cheese in a pancake with gravy, eggs, potatoes, and bacon with syrup, THANK YOU! I was skeptical about the cheese, but man oh man...total yum!!! Gotta love their pitcher of peach sangria too!
We didn't like the loud music, but everything else is awesome 😎 Try the PBnJ burger, which you're going to enjoy (ask for lettuce and pickles to be on the side because I don't think they belong with PBnJ)
Pretty awesome food and over all experience. First time out in a sit down restaurant since the pandemic and appriciate that they had an out door option. Service was quick and kind, they really put in the effort to constantly check up on out table All the workers we properly wearing face masks and cleaning tables immediately after people are done The food was great, highly recommend the hush puppies and the edamame to snack on while drink a brew. I highly recommend the Huckleberry IPA, at least that's what I remember it being called.
This is my review when they first opened. First time to check out this restaurant. Me and my husband were impressed. We are hooked on their “COCONUT SHRIMP CEVICHE with Taro Roots chips” That we ordered 2 more. I ordered the BBQ Veggie Burger, I’m in love with it. It comes with Sweet potato fries or toters(no salt) My husband ordered the Lemon Chicken grilled with mashed Cauliflower and green beans with almonds and nuts. Our server Kristina, was the best, she demonstrated the best server should be. We love it here, they have happy hour Sunday to Thursday (9pm - 12 midnight) We will come back and bring 30 people of our family and friends and bring our dogs and chill out at their patio. I added new more photos. June 2021.
Lazy dog restaurant is definitely a must for people who love great service and great food. We have been here once before and really enjoyed our time there so we decided to come back and give it Another try and we were not disappointed. I have to give our waitress Marissa a big shout out, this young lady was very friendly and very attentive and did everything we asked with no hesitation, we will definitely be back.EAT LOCAL,SPEND LOCAL, and another note all proper Covid protocols were followed, thank you Lazy Dog Restaurant!
Food was very good. What I like is that they have a little of everything. There spanish rice was not good though too much water used it was soggy but I didnt go for the rice. The shrimp tacos were bomb. I would go again..
31!! Yes 31 people reservation!! No deposit and no gratitude added. Service was amazing! Food was great! Fast and easy process. Thank you Cori, Kylee and Alissa for such an easy process and serving so well and being so attentive!!!!
Wow what an awesome place, food, service and atmosphere were all great. Brought our dog onto the patio with us, she got a grilled chicken dinner complimentary.
The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and fun. We have been here several times and the food and service has been consistently great. Today we had a late lunch - I had the 1/2 sandwich and salad. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty and the bread was multi-grain. The wedge salad was delicious and the portion was generous. My husband had the Ahi Tuna on a bed of cauliflower mash. He loved it! He usually orders the Lamb Shank but wanted something lighter today. The Ahi Tuna didn't disappoint. And lastly, we ordered the Lazy Dog Old Pal Pale Ale. Frankly, we knew we were going to buy a four pack to-go of this beer because I love the fish picture! 🎣 The beer was so good that we bought two four packs. It's a perfect summer beer!
Here on Opening Day! Wonderful Staff! Plenty of parking and wchr accessible parking also! Love the atmosphere, food , staff, and beverage selection! Clean bathrooms, plenty of seating in the restaurant, dogs allowed at the patio, food selections for all ages and preferences! Ask for Edward, Kristy, Frederick and Stephanie! Try the Huckleberry IPA! Yummy! Try the chicken nachos over fries instead of chips. Build your own Gingerbread House, the pork noodles and broth and ETC! Enjoy!
We sat outside. It was lovely. Seared tuna bowl was a hit. I would return for the same dish! The French fries are wonderful. Great service, timely. I will return to the Lazy Dog.
Lazy dog was been a go to spot when I needed easy American food but then their food got boring. They amped up their menu and now have really interesting dishes. I loved their colorful artsy menu and I’m a little bummed they changed it. Anyway, when I went, their vents were down so no hamburgers but this isn’t the norm. Their goat cheese pepper jelly was super tasty, dirty dog not too blue cheese like (which I dig), fries super crispy, and bowl filling. It’s an easy place to go to and they have the cutest dogs that visit. Our server JAZLIN was super cute and loved her fun attitude.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Friendly staff and excellent service. I recommend pretty much every thing on the menu. Lazy Dog is one of the few chains where literally everything is above average in quality. This location is also well managed. Clean and respectable, cheers. Also, the rotation of tap beer here is amazing too.
Always have a great experience at Lazy Dog! Fun casual atmosphere with a dog friendly patio. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Great family restaurant!
Great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. This was my first time going to Lazy Dog, and it didn't disappoint. Our server Danielle was awesome!!!! Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Despite being extremely busy, we had fast service with our food being served in a short amount of time and refills being brought to our table without having to ask. Some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant.
A lovely dining experience! We were seated pretty quickly even though we came in at 5:00 on Saturday. They heard it was our first time over and greeted us with such a happy aura. My mom’s sandwich came out a bit on the charred side, so they immediately fixed it and gave us a replacement. Kris/Chris was so sweet about it, and we got a complimentary gift as an apology. Their service was incredible, and very attentive. I hope they get a raise, as their service was the best we could’ve ever received from our first time here! We will absolutely be back ASAP & will recommend this location to friends & family!!! ^__^ (loved the huckleberry drink btw yummy…)
10/10 we came in didn’t have to wait for a seat our server was on time and so sweet our food was delicious and came out quick we had the cheese curds chips and house bread along with New York steak and my husband had ginger soy salmon we will come back for sure
HANDS DOWN THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE IVE HAD! The food was flawless the service was excellent, the drinks were even better! Hannah is one of the most personable and genuine servers I've had. Jack and his partner behind the bar really know what they're doing! (I didn't catch her name). You have to try the lemon drop martini! I just cant say enough about this place. We had a big party and they didn't even bat an eye like most places do when we come in. You have to try this place when ur in Cali!
1st time at this location, haven't been to Lazy Dog in years due to a not so good experience at another location. I'm glad I gave it a second try. This location is beautiful, full bar area... outside patio seating is pretty big and I love the fire pit. Food was pretty good, wasn't a HUGE fan of the Alfredo sauce but it wasn't horrible, still ate my dish. My kid enjoyed their fish & chips... said it was really good. We shared the apple-huckleberry open face pie. SO good! Service was okay... took a bit for the waitress to come and greet us / take our drink order. After that she check in often so nothing that would make me not come back.
Omg I came here for valentine’s Day and our waitress Isabella AKA Bella was amazing she went above and beyond services she was so helpful explaining in detail about their beer samples and I was going back and forth between a food item but with her help I was able to make a perfect choice. If you have any questions about choosing the perfect beer Bella will definitely guided you in the right direction!!! I will definitely be coming back!!! I had their fried chicken sandwich it was amazing, we also ordered the pad Thai and it was so good we also ordered the bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries omg those fries were so delicious 🤤 and their bacon is to die for. Between Texas Roadhouse and Lazy Dog, Lazy Dog is by far the best in food and service and drinks with no doubt about it!!!
Wonderful service, everyone was so nice and attentive. It was my mom’s first time there and the front of house manager gave her garlic parm chips and we were so pleasantly surprised. We felt so welcomed by our server as well. We ordered the lunch grilled shrimp tacos and the blue & black burger w/ onion rings. They were both so yummy and fresh. You get your moneys worth with the quality of the food. Every bite of the shrimp taco had soo much shrimp. I came here with my best friend before, their pitcher sangrias are DELICIOUS. If you have room, you MUST have their open face apple pie! It’s got that crispy crust and fresh apple. You cannot go wrong with the ice cream la mode on top it’s so good, I think about it all the time. The space is so clean and there’s plenty of nice seating inside & outside. There’s always a good amount of people so the atmosphere is great! I will be coming to this Lazy Dog more often :)
Been here a MANY TIMES. Very cute restaurant. They have the best Happy Hour as well during the week and late night. Their food is also really good 👍 BRANDY THE BARTENDER IS THE BEST 🥰❤️. Thank you for all yummy food and good times. Brandy whips it up good. She's the blonde with with the ponytail. 🙂 My husband always orders the Steaks! I love the Lemon Chicken, Fish and Chips, the Burgers are to die for. Lately I'm addicted to the Rib Eye Burger and the Black and Blue burger. I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Was in the area for a pumpkin hike when I saw this place nearby. Was blown away with the level of service and accommodation my family received including our furry pal. I knew from the reviews they allowed dogs in their patio area, but did not expect how much they cater to pet parents. From the water bowl to the dog friendly menu and even the complimentary toy our little Ottie received from the restaurant. As new patrons to this chain, we did not know what to expect. But when the management provided us a free savory house chips as new guest, we knew we were gonna be blown away. The food was incredible. I ordered the brussels sprouts and cheese curds which were crispy and creamy. My family both ordered the Baja burger and I ordered their popular bison burger. It was amazing! Never had a bison burger, but I'm hooked now. The best part of the night was not the pet accommodations nor the wonderful food. But the level of service we experience at this Corona location was phenomenal. Diana our waitress, was the extremely patient, courteous, and helpful with explaining the menu, options, and recommendations. She check on us regularly but did was not pushy, she made sure our little one had everything she needed, and accommodate us with anything asked for. Best server we have ever had! Wish I lived closer to this area so I could visit more often, but will make it a point to comeback ASAP.
Super cute place! Our large group was well attended on the patio. There were several healthier eating options on the large menu, and the food was tasty. And who doesn't live a dog friendly place?
My wife & I go for weekend brunch. Hostesses & Waiters/waitresses are always friendly. Remember before giving them a try.. that they are a fusion food restaurant. I apologize for the half eaten food in the photos. We are always ready to demolish our food. Pictured is the breakfast burrito & kids breakfast plate.
The server/ manager was amazing. They genuinely cared about my son's nut allergies. They were above and beyond with everything they did. I wish we had one in utah where we live because the food was amazing as well. Great prices for delicious food and wonderful service.
Haven't been happy with Lazy Dog since they closed Temecula store but the Corona store is excellent when we get a chance to go there (73 miles). Jazz(server) and April(mgr) are all about service and making your visit a great one! Food is good and service is better and the patio is perfect for you and your dog! Shame on LD for closing Temecula location!
Came here for lunch today and was surprised at how organized they were despite the large amount of people lined up waiting to be seated on a Saturday. We were seated outside in a tent, which was nice because we were out of the sun but could still enjoy the great weather. Service was friendly and every party was seated a few tables away from each other. I ordered their lunch soup + salad combo and it was the perfect amount of food. The tortilla soup was hot + had a great flavor, and the baby greens salad was fresh. Overall a great experience ☺️
I’ve come to Lazy Dog a couple of times, this location and other locations. I don’t usually leave reviews but I went today and Evelyn was our server. She really made the whole experience for my family and I!! She recommended all of the food and she did not disappoint!!! She was so attentive from the beginning to end, she’s also really funny. We will definitely be coming back to this location for Evelyn! Thank you Evelyn! If you ever get a chance to come here, definitely ask for Evelyn!
Knocked one outta the park here guys. Stopped in after an afternoon at the hound park with our badass pitbull 🤣 (more like a Meatball in disguise) This place, all around, Rocks. The service, Food, Ambiance and sittin there with Bella? The Best, life is good. VANESSA ROCKED it for us this afternoon. Birthday parties w kids (10+) abounding all around us and we Still felt like VIPs w Vanessa attentive to us. Her knowledge of the menu and her professionalism was nothing short of Stellar. Friendly, clean, humorous but professional..or vice versa. ;) Give it up for Lazy Dog and our.. server Vanessa. Dog people like us are not only welcome but Appreciated too. They even got a dog menu and boy I was tempted... Check 'em out. Bring Bella, or Fido along. 🤣🤣🤣
I had to drop my dogs off at the vet down the street so my husband and I decided to grab lunch here since we were in the area and I'm so glad we did!! The atmosphere is welcoming and super cozy. It feels like a log cabin in the mountains and we adored the vibes, our Server and hostess were extremely polite and accommodating. I wish I could remember her name I only know it started with a J. They also have a really good selection of songs so whatever music you like, they play! so it's not just one genre. The food was incredible with a ton of customization options and was well worth the price for the portion sizes you get! We got their Crispy wings and Cajun fries as an appetizer, my husband got their signature burger, and I got their beef bibimbap bowl, every was make quickly and presented in a very visually pleasing way. Since it was our first time coming the manager came out and gave us a complimentary order of their Chef Chips which were seasoned with the same Cajun spice as the fries which we thought was extremely sweet❤️ We will definitely be coming back! Especially with our pups! They offer a dog menu and seating for your pets out on the pattio, we fell in love with this place and will 100% be reccomending to our friends and family!! Thank you Lazy dog crew for making our first experience memorable and for going above and beyond! Keep it up!!!❤️❤️🐶
Waitress Anna was exceptional! I brought my 87 yr. old Dad and his 90 yr. old girlfriend and they were in awe of the interesting food options like the fried deviled eggs with candied bacon garnish and bison meatloaf. I ate a roast beef dip which was phenomenal with the au jus. Of course the meal wouldn't be complete without the banana pudding which was just southern comfort food. All of us left full and happy. I came back with my BF and we sat on the patio watching the various dogs that came and went. Another perfect meal.
My husband and I came for happy hour on a Tuesday and let me tell you, if you get Javier as your server, you're gonna have the best experience at the Lazy Dog. Not only was the food amazing, Javier offered recommendations and even gave us a free gift as first timers! Great server, made us feel super welcomed here and the Lazy Dog will now be added on our list of top date night restaurants!!! 100% recommend!!
Is it just me or is the quality of food getting worse at every restaurant? Food doesn't taste fresh and tastes heavily processed. It's like it was made at a factory and warmed up and served at the restaurant. It would have been nice if our server came around more often to check on our needs.
Excellent food, lovely staff. They really went out of their way to make a family meal / birthday celebration special for my family. From the manager to various servers, they were all very welcoming and accommodating to various needs, and the foot was great, with a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend - thank you Lazy Dog team!
The Manager Kevin was top notch and very down to Earth. All of the staff were awesome and friendly. I had recently signed up for the Beer Club (best choice ever) and Chris from another store was a huge help in getting my orientated on the many perks. I can say that I was showered with gifts beyond.. I was given beer samples, a size upgrade on a 12oz drink that goes up to 16oz, a 12-pack, a mug, and a meal voucher to cover the costs. What more could you want from an establishment. A nice cozy place to watch the game, excellent customer service, and great food! The staff here is exceptional and this is a beer drinker's paradise.
We had a wonderful visit to your Corona location. Deanne and I had initially planned to dine at another restaurant, but it was closed. We remembered Lazy Dog from a previous visit where we had an okay experience in the outdoor lounge area with our dog, so we decided to give it another try. This time, we dined indoors (without our dog) and were seated in a comfortable booth. We were served by Michael, who, in my 60 years of dining out, was high on the list of the best waiter I’ve ever had. He was exceptionally professional and attentive throughout our meal. He was calm, relaxed but engaging. The food was excellent, and we truly appreciated the entire experience. Thank you for everything!
Omg I love this place!!! I have previously ordered delivery for my family but tried it recently, in person. Sooooo glad I did! We went to their Corona location and it is gorgeous 😍 Awesome outdoor patio (pet friendly) and fire pit, great deals on food and perfect service!!! Our servers name was Ashley and she was THE BEST! New the answers to all our questions, walked us throuth the menu showing us all the deals and new dishes, helping us to make the perfect choice! She also let us know about their to-go frozen TV dinners. Buy 5, get one free and their prices are very fair. I mean come on, look at this chicken pot pie I made for my family the next day! WOWWWWW!!! Thank you Ashley and the entire Lazy Dog team ❤️. We will be back often!
Wow, this was our 1st time eating here or at any of their locations. We were blown away and can't wait to come back. The manager dropping off a little treat for being first time diners was such a surprise. My spouse is on a low-carb diet and found amazing options, happy eater! The cauliflower mash is simply amazing. The spicy tuna crispy rice is one the top sushi twists I've ever had, a new favorite. The brustle sprouts were outstanding. We simply loved everything we had. This location has an extremely attentive and friendly staff and the decor was great. Can't wait to come back when in town
I was so impressed! Great service, excellent food and enjoyed sitting outside with the fire pit. I had the traditional mojito which was sooo good. My husband had the bacon maple syrup old fashioned which was also amazing! Some of the best bacon I've ever had! Definitely intend to go back to try more things on the menu. There's a large menu with many options. Oh and it's a great place for dog owners! You can have your pup on the patio. Your pup will be served a water bowl and you can order them a chicken or beef pup meal
I am so jealous! I was bragging to my friend about this GREAT restaurant in Corona that I tried for the first time called Lazy Dog. I was describing the super delicious smokey candied bacon old fashion cocktail, the amazing mountain of bbq Bison meatloaf with spinach and mashed potatoes. And also raving about the good service and the nice manager (Adrianna) who came by my table with a free order of house made potato chips (covered in Parmesan) just because it was my first time at the restaurant…. Then my friend said “OH Yeah- I LOVE that chain. I go whenever I’m back in Colorado visiting family and used to go all the time when I lived in Northern CA… never had a bad meal”. Updated- returned tonight/ about a month later and am happy to say the food and service were just as great. I had the tuna steak salad and a smokey old fashioned and a (free) apple pie with ice cream Savings 1/2 of salad and pie for my next visit ❤️ posted 2 new pictures I will save 1/2 of my meal for tomorrow. 🙂 Gave it a 4 for atmosphere only because it’s a bit loud inside. I Love that they are dog friendly on the patio ❤️ I’m so jealous! Wish they had one in WA state! I will be back for sure next time I’m here again!
All of the food here is great, always prepared fresh, and consistently cooked. My Go-To is always the Fish and Chips, some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in all of So Cal. The Cod fish is always freshly battered and fried to a perfect crispiness. The seasoned fries are served hot and crispy as well, and it comes with a side of their delicious apple cider coleslaw, tartar sauce, and lemon wedge. Other notables on the menu include their special deviled eggs appetizer, the Pot Roast Sandwich, and their butter cake for dessert. Anything you order will be cooked perfectly and will tantalize your tastebuds. I’ve never had a bad meal from this place.
First time party of 4. It is rare that I give a rave review, because frankly either service or food isn't outstanding. But this was a unicorn experience in the very best of all ways. Seated and greeted quickly. Server asked if we were 1st timers, yep. She took our order and brought our requested water. The place had a great vibe, which was elevated when the manager came over and thanked us for coming, providing an on the house nosh of homemade chips and garlic butter. Wow, we felt special and appreciated. It foreshadowed a wonderful lunch, great service, (water was never empty), and a check that was so reasonable. Thank you team at Lazy Dog, look forward to returning very soon!
So happy they opeden up this location in Corona, no more driving to West Covina or Rancho. The remarkable dog-themed decorations are one of a kind, and a fire pit patio seating is dog friendly. The large dinning room is happy, upbeat and loud, this is not a quiet cozy restaurant if that's what you are looking for, many large screen TV showing sports programs, the crowd let out a loud cheer when their team did a great play. As always, I ordered the Sticky Ribs, it was tender, the only thing I don't care for is they fried the ribs, making the meat hard to chew around the corners, next time I'll order it without frying. Service staff was friendly and attentive. It was quite busy on a Thursday night, be prepare for waiting on weekends.
I came here to see an old middle school friend and it was nice. We sat outside on the patio around the fire pit and it wasn't really busy on a Thursday nice. Our server Oscar was very nice and pleasant. He took these pics of us. There was also a this cute 🖤 server holla. I had the coconut shrimp and fettuccine. My friend had some meatless, vegan, idk she's on a New Year's fast. I drank she didn't. We talked it was nice. I spent $60 with tip and that's cheap for me 😂
Went here on a date lunch with my husband. I was pleasantly surprised how good everything was and the specialists they had for lunches. We asked to be set at a table that is away from speakers. The hostess shook her head and said no problem. And then we were sat right next to one. Not an issue for many people but having a little bit difficult hearing that would have been better to be set away. But we'll go back. It was tasty
I had been to a few Lazy Dog restaurants in different states before. I joined a colleague for a quick bites and a few drinks. Very quick and friendly bartenders and the food is very good as well. I had the grilled lemon chicken and my friend had the beef sandwich and they were both enjoyable. Oh the deviled eggs are fenomenal.
I was disappointed in the unwarmth of my grilled cheese sandwich. I do not blame my waitress, but rather management. When there is a large party its best practice to pull other servers to help deliver food so everyone receives their food at the same time.
We went here for my birthday. The food was just ok. Two of us ordered salad and the protein (chicken) was extremely light, very disappointing considering the price. The rest of the food and the drinks were okay. Atmosphere is a little louder than I would prefer, but a good place to go with a group who doesn’t mind the noise.
Reason for visiting: meeting up with friends Date/time of visit: Saturday night, ~5:30 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, shared with other businesses; free, no valet Party size: 15, 7 kids Environment/ambience: loud and busy; TVs around for the games but no sound. Restroom was pretty clean. Since we had a large party, we reserved a table (can do online). Didn't see a line when coming in so assume you can walk in too. Crowd was mixed, age and race wise. Definitely kid friendly Service: great; came around often. Friendly and offered suggestions. Staff was young but very friendly. Food: had the All American with fries, and couple of Jack and Cokes. Had part of the S'mores dessert too. Everything was good. Cost: $50 for All American and 2 Jack and Cokes; includes tip. Would I go back (yes/no): 80/20
The food was decent. I had the Cuban sandwich and onion rings. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich. The pull pork was ok. The pork wasn't really seasoned. The Cuban sandwich wasn't as big as I thought. The onion rings were a little greasy and burned. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.
It's fine for me. The food is okay, typical corporate chain stuff. We've had okay service and we've had GREAT service. On a recent visit, server Jordan ("Short Jordan") was awesome, personable, and highly skilled. She's a real pro. Prices are fine, atmosphere is fine. Nothing spectacular, but good for a Friday Happy Hour. The butter cake dessert is quite good. I do miss the Claim Jumper that used to be at this location, but if I can't have that, this will do.
Good service and great atmosphere. Food test fine, need to be a little bit faster from order to delivery. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch burgers and fries. Dog friendly place. Reasonable prices and clean. Highly recommended
I had heard of this place a while ago and finally got a chance to check it out. We were settled right away and the place is perfect for their table situation. Not too crowded and volume is low enough to have a conversation. Wait staff were experts and friendly and helpful. Food was okay. I loved the fried Deviled Eggs and my chicken bowl was okay. The rice was a bit under cooked and the flavor had something going on that I couldn't identify but it was fresh and the chicken tender. The S'mores desert was tasty and big. I might not come again just because there are other places that have better food offerings but I think it would be a great place to go with a large group because the menu is so varied.
Went to this location with a couple of friends absolutely solid 4out5 stars 🌟 from me. Food was fantastic, service was too! The only critique I have is for the servers to more periodically check on guests for refills ect. Doing so will bring in more business and increase your tip margins! Have a wonderful day everyone and great job!
Lots of patio seating, light music, and plenty of fans for this summer. Was just bummed about the vegan enchiladas because it was a chimichanga instead of enchiladas. So lots of burnt corners. Other than that the vegan chorizo and combo of flavors was good and if u like chimichamgas then good. My friend loved her salmon summer salad. Jordan is a great natural server. Always had our table clean as soon as we were done and our drinks topped off.
Unfortunately this is just an average review. We went to the Lazy Dog Sunday evening, and fully expected to have a great meal. We got to our table and our drink order was taken. Next thing we knew somebody had come up and told us that the person that had started our meal was not our regular waiter and that this person was and that was fine with us. Unfortunately a habit of bad service then started. We ordered our food, one of the items being a Baja burger. When our food came, the burger was undercooked. We sent it back and a new one was given to us, which took an addition 15 minutes. First of all it was also undercooked, but it did not include fries. By the time the fries came all of the food had been consumed and we had been waiting for several minutes. I also ordered a shot of bourbon, and it never came. We had to call over the manager, and she took the two problem items off of our bill, as she should. So unfortunately I could not give this as high of a rating as I would have anticipated on previous visits.
Food 3* Service 4* Vibe 4* Well, the best way i can review this place is that it is similar to the cheesecake factory with their menu being all over the place with their cusine. There are too many options, and the quality of all the food is average. If the best things this place has are their season fries, thats saying something. But the presentation of the food on the plates are good. However, the vibe is great with a group of friends, and the staff are nice and friendly.
I’ve been here at least 7 times, the service has usually been top notch except for the last 2 visits. I felt as if the server was annoyed when my party would ask questions about substituting sides. The last visit the server would forget to bring sauces, by the time the server remembered we were almost finished with our food. The food is good though.
Night out for date night with the Wifey Came here tonight for dinner Had Coconut Shrimp 🍤 for appetizer. Also had spicy 🌶 Cauliflower. Both were amazing and Tasty Dinner was Chicken 🍗 Cesar Salad. Other choice was Chicken 🍗Tortilla Soup 🍵. Both were satisfying and tasty. Drinks had a soda and Justin Cabernet 🍷 We sat at the Bar and enjoyed the night. Lazy Dog 🐶 had 3 bartenders. I felt they weren't very attentive. Guest that sat to the left had to wait quite sometime to get there bill processed. They eventually walked over themselves to speed up the process to leave. The same situation happened to us as well until we captured the bartenders attention. The bar was not that busy especially for 3 employees. I feel the service should have been on point with an overlay of 3 employees. I felt they did a disservice to the customer experience overall... Just my opinion on customer service.
Went the day before valentines day...I guess we weren't the only ones with the and idea. It was very crowded and we had to wait even with a reservation. They advertised a special VD Day pull out menu but the selections were very limited, so we ended up ordering off the regular menu. I ordered the ribs which had a nice bbq flavor, but were obviously Parboiled instead of grilled. Fried Deviled eggs are a must. Our waitress was great! Very friendly and helpful.
My food was great but 2 people in my party were having trouble with their food. It was cold and soggy so when they asked for a fresh one by time the bill came around the waiter told us they discounted the meal but in reality it was the 2 items my friends sent back, that was charged twice then removed once and sold to us as a "discount"
Visited here a couple of times since it opened, but always avoided it because it’s so busy. We had a gift card and decided to go, we have two young children who were more than ready to eat. Our table was called after about a 30 min wait. When the host was walking us to our table, we crossed paths with another hostess who said she already seated another party of 6. Host turned over and told us we would have to wait. We waited another 25ish minutes. As we waited we grew increasingly confused, waiters did nothing to acknowledge us and our wait. I asked to speak with the manager to better understand the situation. It appeared as though the host/ess were disorganized and gave away our table, he agreed and said that’s what it sounds like. As I was speaking with him, all of a sudden the host/ess we’re acknowledging us, they walked us over to the table and she tried to explain the situation was because of new trainees. I felt that this was completely unnecessary and unprofessional, this oversight falls on the manager in my opinion. All of this could have been avoided if at the beginning it was explained to us that they made a mistake and would work to correct it. We understand mistakes happen, that can be trained but the real issue was lack of empathy and non acknowledgment. The manager offered to comp one appetizer but they comped 2 and then lastly the comped us a dessert. Appetizers were needed because it took 30 min to get food. Overall, what should have been an hour dinner turned to 610 to 830p. do not recommend
I never thought I'd give LD a bad review. I miss the one in Temecula. My Daughter and I were looking to get a quick bowl of soup. It was late and we didn't want anything too spicy. We were assured by the Server that their Tortilla soup wasn't very spicy. I had it before and I remember it being pretty mild. We waited a very long time to get our soup. When we finally got it, my Daughter's was just broth, and mine had about 2 cups of tortilla strips in it. We took one bite and it was so spicy it made us choke. I hope this was just a bad night because this one now is the closest one to us.
It is one of these big chain restaurants. It is weird that this place is a “dog” themed restaurant but allow dogs only in the outside patio. That makes nothing special because other places usually allows dogs in the patio too… Anyhow, the most disappointing part is the food. While the drinks are good, the quality of food is sub par. It is just okay.. I do like the open high ceiling establishment.
Usually, our experience at the Corona Lazy Dog is excellent. Today was the exception. We sat at the bar as usual, however, the bartenders acted as though we were invisible. In fact, the one female bartender asked if wanted anything else when we responded we just sat down. She didn't recognize a new customer after cashing the previous one out? It was so weird. Both bartender walked by us about six to seven times, never asking us if we wanted to place a drink or food order. We finally were able to place our order when I noticed the customer next to us received his food but couldn’t eat as he didn’t have a set up. After 5 minutes, I finally chased down a manager to let him know the poor guy couldn’t eat his food. Finally, one bartender we know came on shift. Things got better after he got the bar under control. He even asked me where my husband was which was nice. Don’t know what was up with the other two bartenders but they need some serious training on how to take care of customers. Their lack of customer service was astonishing.
The tortillas tasted like raw flour. Like how? Corn masa, please, for the tacos. The fish was a 2/10 in the tacos. Super sad. The rice was bland. The beans were ok. We only finished the apps. All the appetizers were good 8/10 and the drinks were great. Server was super nice and attentive. Will go back for appetizers and drinks not the food.
Nice place but the food was way too greasy, with an overly oily taste. I asked for no pickles and a side of fresh fruit, but got pickles and fries instead. The waitress wasn’t rude, but definitely didn’t seem to care much about good service. On top of that, $50+ for two not-so-great sandwiches and a drink? Was a total waste of money. Won’t be coming back.
Used to love this place. The last few visits have been hit and miss. Today, when the waitress came it seemed she was angry about something. Don’t know what. She didn’t say her name, but she had a scowl on her face the whole time - the small amount of time she interacted with us. When she finally came, we gave her our appetizer and food order. Then we waited 37 minutes. In between that time, someone else was set on both sides of us and receive their food. She never bothered to interact with us other than throwing some sauces on the table without saying anything. I thought maybe she was busy but she didn’t seem to have many other tables. She walked past our table, multiple times. I understand if they’re busy, but a little communication is nice, especially since all we ordered for our appetizer was the brussels sprouts. After 37 minutes we finally gave up and on our way out, told the hostess and host that we were leaving. Even they didn’t seem to care. I guess I wouldn’t have been shocked had it been another restaurant, but this seems to have changed where this restaurant used to really give good service. Just deeply disappointed.
My fiancé & I were genuinely excited to try this as our engagement dinner just on a whim. We check in & we’re told 20 mins wait for 2. Okay no biggie, the restaurant was packed inside & outside. It was freezing so we decided to wait in the car & they were going to text me. 30 mins pass, 40 mins pass & we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but went inside to wait. After 50 mins we decided we’d ask if it was our turn soon. Well the girl at the front said she called & texted multiple times & we were unresponsive. I never got any messages. Long story short they put us back on the waiting list & by then I was hungry & tired so we decided to leave. When we cancelled our party of 2 she said they had us down for 3, the manager was willing to sit us down but by then I was frustrated & over it. I felt very unseen and unheard with the experience I had. I’m disappointed we never got to try the place with such good reviews. Bummer.
