Absolutely loveeee this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice & the food is amazing 👏 The quasidillas birria with consomme for dipping was my absolute favorite. The Carne asada fries are 10/10. Also the beef strip quasidillas with white cheese is also another favorite. I have not tried anything else from the menu cause these 3 items have me in a choke hold. Must try
Party of 7 for a work breakfast and we were very pleased! The place has a great atmosphere, the staff was friendly. They brought everything out in good time. They brought a huge tray of super soft, fresh pan dulce to our table, coffee was delicious, the food was so tasty, tortillas were not too thick or too thin, just right. Then after the meal they bring free muffins, yummy! Couple of us took iced coffees to go and omg I would definitely go back for another one! Over all we loved it and we will be going back. *I had the porkchop and eggs plate and iced caramel macchiato*
The Environment Is Nice And Clean The Food Was Very Delicious And Fast Service Definitely My Favorite Mexican Restaurant Now In All Of Corpus Christi I Got The Queso Birria Tacos With A Side Of Rice And Beans And My Mother Got A Crunchy Beef Taco With Rice Beans And My Son Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. Highly Recommend If Your Looking For Some Good Authentic Mexican Food 👍🏼
Keep in mind they JUST opened. We came in for lunch at 1130. Chips and salsa came after we ordered food, complimentary, appears homemade. I got the 3 enchiladas. Everything on the plate was good, no heat lamp marks on the beans, tortillas on the side were very good. Good portion size. Wife got a tamale, she was also impressed. Lots of seating available and room between booths. Read reviews here when we sat down. It looks like they are already improving.
I really liked their different types of margaritas and the food has a very good home-style flavor. I recommend you go for original Mexican food. You just have to wait a little to find a table. There are a lot of people in a short time. It has become very popular.
Best Mexican restaurant in Corpus !! I went to have dinner tonight with my family at this new location for the first time and we loved it they had live mariachis singing so beautiful. Our server Yvonne was amazing she recommended me to get the #9 with the T-bone steak it was so delicious! They have fresh pan dulce in the front. The restaurant was very clean. Our over all experience was amazing We will definitely be back and ask for Yvonne.
Really great atmosphere. Really clean and vibrant. Abel was our server and was very nice and helpful and recommended us some bestsellers.I will definitely be back here and recommend it to friends and family.
Just went in for my second time and it was just as great as the first! They just don’t t make Servers like Sirenna anymore shes a delight who paid for my meal after a wonderful conversation about the “I am Legend” movie. Absolutely ask for Sirenna to serve you if you can make the time to stop by!
Wonderful very welcoming restaurant. Waitresses, always making sure all their customers need anything. Jennifer is a nice, caring person. Don't get me wrong so are the others beautiful people. I highly recommend Acapulco Bar & Grill. Go and enjoy the wonderful food as well. Freshly made. Delicious as well. God bless 🙏 all the people, employees and owners. Keep up the great work all of you.
Love everything about this place except one thing. I love their food, prices, service and atmosphere. The only thing I couldn't believe that Acapulco does that none of the other Mexican restaurant do is charge like 65 cents for Charlie brown corn tortillas. That's just leaving them on the grill to toast a little while serving or preparing other stuff ordered. Please don't get greedy. We love your restaurants.
Absolutely excellent! I will definitely be returning when I come back to visit corpus the food was delicious service was amazing my server was Ruby and she was perfect! On a side note what really caught my attention was how quick the food came out. All around best place to eat in corpus!
Had take out. The Carne gisada was excellent. Still the great meal from collage 20 years ago. Fancier building same great food.
The server was really great. She's fantastic, she made sure we had everything we needed and was very polite. I can't remember name.
We’ve dined here several times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently wonderful, and the waitstaff is always attentive and welcoming. Our waitress, Nena, was especially awesome—she made excellent suggestions and helped us choose a fantastic dish. We’ll definitely be back!
Best tortilla soup I’ve had in Corpus Christi in a long time and this was just the small size. Super filling and full of flavor. Their mango margaritas are always a favorite, and tonight we tried the margarita flight… definitely worth it and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is always spotless, the food comes out fast, and every single person is so friendly and welcoming. Consistent, great service every time. Highly recommend!
We used to go to the old location and loved it and were worried they may have changed once they moved into the new building, they did not . If anything they improved! The food was amazing! I ordered the Acapulco parrillada plate and he ordered the asada nachos and added chicken. For dessert the sopapias . Perfect place for a family dinner or a date ! You will not be disappointed! We didn’t order any drinks but saw many drinks leave the bar that looked great !
It was a busy Sunday morning. 10 minute wait for 2. The Smoke Paloma is delicious. The chips were fresh! The Salas tasty! The barbacoa 🔥
We loved the trio of red sauce, green sauce and bean dip that came with the chips. The iced tea is great! We had beef enchiladas and a carne asada plate. It was all delicious! Fresh, delicious flour tortillas! Great time! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a busy time - Sunday after church - but we didn't even have to wait. Awesome experience!
It was great! Loved the atmosphere. Very nice restaurant but with a relaxed vibe. Prices were good. The servings were huge. I had menudo with homemade corn tortilla. It was really good. Everything was plated really well.
this location is fantastic, similar menu items and some different, offer draft beer which is very nice, food quality is great, selection and service were above average and portions were abundant. from order to receiving food was less than 10 min. very good visit.
By far the best Acapulco in Corpus Christi -if you can find parking! My wife is not really a humongous fan of Tex Mex food but this place is the exception - it’s that good. If you haven’t given it a try yet, don’t wait any longer! You won’t regret it.
Love this place, lots of options on the menu. Has a Tex Mex vibe. They serve three different salsas as you wait for food. My favorites are their street tacos and sopes.
My first visit here and they were slammed. We waited for our table for about 20 minutes but it was for 6 people. The service was good considering how busy they were. We lacked nothing. The chips and salsa were delicious. Three different flavors of sauces. One was a refried bean sauce, one was a regular hot sauce, and the third was warm and it had a little more spicy kick to it. I ordered the carne asada street tacos with onions and cilantro. They were very good. Requested some green sauce to spice them up and the sauce came in individual sealed packaging. It had the right amount of kick. Because it stayed crowded for the entire time of our visit the place was a little loud for regular conversation. Their menu has so many choices and they serve breakfast all day. Our server was attentive and polite. I would definitely eat here again.
I just love the grilled fish and skin potatoes here. So divine. And the honey baguette was super sweet. Normally I don't like unsweetened honey in general, but with the whipped cream is very delicious.
First time here. Yvonne, our server, did not steer us wrong on the good food here. Shared a ceveich tower that was delicious. Slight smoky flavor that gave it a want for more. One of the many fajita plates, with fresh made tortillas! Topping off with a spicy Cucumber margarita that was refreshing. Great place and service. Definitely going back.

Definitely a new Mexican restaurant that everyone must try. Staff is attentive and very courteous. The place is brand new. The prices are very competitive. The food is fantastic and the drinks our delicious. If you're traveling into town definitely a place to have a nice affordable Mexican style dinner!
The fajitas were great with yummy tarasca sauce which they let me try first. Not usually a fan of rice but theirs is good as are their charro beans (flavorful and not full of “stuff”). Fajita plate could be split between 2 people. Hubby had senior plate and his was good too. Chastidy was our server and she did a fantastic job of taking great care of us! Want to try soapapillas next time! Only down side is it’s noisy but worth it!

The food is very good and I love the variety of menu items especially compared to other Mexican restaurants and even their sister restaurants. We go quite frequently, probably 2-3 times weekly. Our only complaint so far is that everyone seems to be getting confused on what each item comes with & even the kitchen too. My favorite item on the menu is the #26, the Angus Fajita Salad! So so good! I love the spring mix it comes with or usually does. Sometimes they add chopped iceberg lettuce instead and it’s not worth it to get it when it’s made that way. Loses a lot of the value of the salad for me. Some people have said they use that lettuce when the other runs out, but we’ve also had it told to us the opposite way, so what is it really? We went yesterday, like many days, and my husband has gotten the Acapulco Special a couple of times before. The lady taking the order said it came with refried beans (this has happened before too), but then was given charro beans instead. She was also saying that it didn’t come with certain sides, yet the menu clearly states what it comes with and she said, “we’ll allow it this time.” How does that make sense to only “allow” something one time when the menu has it there listed? My only wish is that they would all have a restaurant meeting to go over the menu together and be on the same page as to what every item comes with so everyone is not confused or saying different things. If they don’t want something on the menu, then please change the menu. We really enjoy the food and these experiences just make us avoid it at times. Something I appreciate is they usually are very helpful with allergens!! This is hard for a lot of restaurants so I like that they really try.
Tortilla soup was good and large portion but wasn’t hot like soup should be. Also got sat in the hall by the kitchen so did not get any ‘atmosphere’. Server was great and food came out fast.
The place is really spacious, though the floor plan feels a little odd and the restrooms aren’t in the most convenient spot. The bar area wasn’t really my style, but it was packed and very lively, so clearly others were enjoying it! We sat in a quiet hallway area for two, which was actually nice and peaceful. The food was good overall. We tried the roasted corn dip — it was okay, but I added some salsa for extra flavor, and they went a little heavy on the cilantro topping. The beef fajita quesadillas and guacamole were delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, and the tortillas were perfectly toasted, not soggy. We also tried a carne asada taco on a homemade corn tortilla with avocado and cheese. They accidentally added raw onions instead of grilled, but our waitress immediately offered to fix it. Service was great — our waitress was attentive, and the manager came around to check on everyone, which I appreciated. Overall, I’d definitely come back to try more dishes. Also I forgot my phone on table and the waitress saved it for me! That speaks volumes about them.
The food was good. I always test a good Mexican restaurant by trying their Carne Guisada, cheese enchiladas, and their salsa. If they screw that up, then the rest of the food is usually not good. At this place, their Carne Guisada and cheese enchiladas were on point. They were flavorful and cooked just right. They used actual cheese not that fake Velveeta stuff most other Mexican restaurants in the area have switched to. The menudo was ok. It had a weird after taste to it that we didn't like. Their Carne Asada taco on flour was so greasy but so good!! Their tortillas seem homemade. And their beans and rice are delcious. They even serve you chips with two salsas and a bowl of refried beans to dip your chips in. The chips are great too. We would definitely come back here. The restaurant is big but each space is sectioned off so you don't feel overwhelmed by the noise. We love that. I would highly recommend this place. Their breakfast plates are so good as well. We tried their barbacoa plate with over easy eggs, refried beans, and potatoes. A must try for breakfast. And if you want a good lunch you can't go wrong with a #11 Tejas Plate, or some individual tacos like Carne Asada or Guisada. Their habanero salsa is super spicy and flavorful to give any of your meals a good spicy kick. Its great for meeting clients since its quieter than other restaurants. And you can have a decent conversation. Or for a night out with friends and family for drinks and good food.
Not bad. Definitely not my new favorite place, but everything was decent. I got a fajita burrito Acapulco style, bloody mary and my husband got the chimichanga. It was all pretty good. They were very busy, but kept up. The three dip appetizer with chips that came automatically was pretty good. But I just can't say that there was anything special or spectacular. It's a good place to eat, but not somewhere that I'd be quick to recommend.
Showed up after a Rosary about 9:00 PM and asked if they would take a party of 20 people, they were very accommodating and we got seated about 9:20 PM. They quickly got our drink orders, and got the non-alcoholic drinks to the table right away. Then started taking our food orders. The alcohol drinks started coming out one at a time. They were good. Food came out by tickets, so my wife and mine came out together, however had to remind the waitress about my tortillas and beans. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. I did clean my plate. We were walking out at 10:30 PM. Must thank them for taking a large party one hour before closing.

Mini Tacos were delicious and rice was soft and cook right. Its cool that they give you multiple sauces to choose. Yummy 😋
Saturday 5pm not to busy. So I know they just opened but our waitress never came back to our table. We had to ask for refills from someone else every time. So she only greeted us as we sat & she said it was happy hour & gave us a drink menu. We ordered 1 mix drink & michelada, finally we were ready to get out of there. Had to ask someone to find our waitress so we could pay. So she then says "that drink is not on the happy hour". Wow ok. Food was only thing that was good not great. Nothing special but I'm sure it will attract people on that side of town which is good, that means other locations will not be as packed & other locations have better service and better drinks! Happy dining!
My wife and I were a bit disappointed because we love the other Acapulco. While I loved how spacious the parking lot was and the design of the building, the seating on the inside was cramped, at least at the booths by the bar where we were seated. We felt very near to our neighbors. Three chips and salsa were great, but the queso, which our server called "cheese dip" was exactly that, not much flavor. My wife had the flautas plate which she said was greasy and I had the gordita, which was decent, but the masa was undercooked and the flavor was a little off. The guacamole and rice were excellent. Fortunately, the menu is huge so there are menu options to try. Maybe we picked poorly this afternoon. My wife was unimpressed with the service, but I thought it was fine. I'm hopeful that these are growing pains for the new location and I will keep returning to try different menu items. It's affordable and very near my neighborhood.
This was our 3rd time eating from here. The first 2 times were great. Their Elote dip is really good. Tonight we tried the quesadillas with carne asada. The carne asada was more like shredded pieces of beef. We have tried other items with carne asada so I know this was different. I could not even continue eating the quesadillas due to the texture of the meat.
We stopped by on Christmas eve after church. Busy busy. Our server had no personality at all. Not rude not nice just there. I ordered plate with tacos n cheese enchildas.charo beans Enchiladas were very good Taco meat not so great. My husband ordered beef n chicken fajitas I tasted...very dry. Not good. He ate them tho. I would not have. Son ordered menudo said it was very bland. Chips n salsa are good but getting server to refill was a task as it was with drink refills. Their Lil beans with the salsa are tasty but we could not get a refill. There were 6 people in our party. We left the server a very good tip (45%) because it was Christmas Eve not because she was good. 😵💫
First, apparently they called my name when I did not hear my name. So, I had to go ask- got seated underneath the table was dirty. The high chair that was given to me was broken! Then the waiter got one of my orders wrong 😑 the enchiladas were cold that I ordered. And the lady that was our waitress was just giving faces.
Chalking 3 star rating for New restaurant growing pains. Beautiful restaurant, huge menu with great looking plates, nice bar, and even assortment of iced coffee and health drinks. Now, for the bad. Service was a little slow. The drink size was small, and due to slow service, we were waiting for refills. One of our plates had to be changed because of not having certain meat. I'm sure this place will be a good place but I will give it a month till than.

Giving 2 stars is being nice! First, I ordered chili con queso. I sent it back twice because it wasn't hot at all. While waiting for my queso, I was seated near an opening to the kitchen, and to my horror, I observed a staff member eating out of the cheese warmer!! This will be my first and last time here!!!
Saturday morning. The charro beans are under cooked! Completely inedible gross! The tripitas are flavorless! Which I can not understand when tripitas have a taste of their own. Yet they found a way to make them, yes crunchy, but more air flavorless chips. They are cut very small as well. It's more flake pieces of tripitas then actually good length cut tripitas with flavor to them. Service was good. Not her fault the food was terrible. I very much like the separate seating available!

It would be great if someone was at the door to open it like they do at Nikos and other restaurants in town. The doors here are very heavy and they are dirty from people touching the handles going in and out. Give it a try. You have 3 girls at the counter at any given time chatting and laughing and rolling silverware. Get one of them to open the door for customers!!!! Also, employees, no eating out of the pots!!!!!!!!!! Gross
Unfortunately we tried this place when it first opened & it was a disappointment. So we tried this place again, being that they have been open for a while. NEVER AGAIN. MEDIOCRE FOOD. Michaladas have no flavor. The smokey drinks STINK. Ambiance is great but food doesn't even come close. Our waiter was not on top of things as well. We had to get up & go pay at the bar. He never returned.
