The girl with blue hair was super nice and patient with me when I ordered. I felt bad because I didn’t know the menu well but she reassured me and made my day. I’m so glad that there are people like her in service. She really made my day(:
This place has definitely taken a turn, Chipotle used to be my go to but this was a redo of my order they messed up and then I go on to get it remade and it's trash! Straight up trash. The female manager on staff today was also a piece. She had the worse stank face and acted like she didn't want to make my food because I didn't know the name of the manager that I talked to. The young lady at the register tried multiple times to tell her it was on a sticky note on the register but she wouldn't listen to her. They literally threw all the ingredients in the bowl while I watched! Shameful and disgusting.
So freaking full. Came here for lunch but more like dinner. My Dad got the bowl and said that he could eat this everyday. I got the burrito and it always hits the spot. Service was kind of slow but got the job done. Atmosphere was kind of dirty and had some food in some places but overall not that bad. Stuffed.
Ordered 2 bowls online then used my points for a side of guacamole. When my daughter went to get the order I told her to make sure it was in there because of previous experience of them not giving me my side of guacamole. When she checked it wasn’t in there she asked the employees and they said it wasn’t on the ticket so my daughter called me to let me know. I logged into my account and the points had been deducted. Employee said that happens sometimes and there’s nothing they could do about it that points get deducted but item doesn’t go on ticket. Has to use my reward for a free guacamole and still lost my points. I have pictures of my rewards and if my points being deducted.
Service was not terrible but some training is definitely needed and possiblymore staff. There was no asada, chicken or veggies. The person before us said she could wait for chicken. I wanted asada but I was tired and hungry so decided I would just get steak. Basically the same anyway other than the seasoning. Instead of asking for our order while the person ahead waited on chicken the staff member stood there looking at the cooks waiting for chicken. The line was about 8 or 9 people deep at this point. I had to ask, if we could place our order while the chicken is getting prepared since I will just get what is available she looked shocked but did take our order. Went to pay and asked if there was any chips since I didn't see any already pre bagged. Cashier said yes but there would be a wait since they are not ready. He advised it would take on a couple of minutes. I decided I could wait. It felt longer but at this point I was frustrated so it likely did only that a couple of minutes. He did apologize for the wait.
This is the first time I've visited this location to dine in. Having ordered here twice before the food is pretty good and filling. Pros of this restaurant is that the only female server that was behind the counter serving me was patient. But the other guy's around were not welcoming. Cons- the line was long and the men working were off-putting didn't greet. There wasn't much clean seating. The floor was dirty, and the one girl they had cleaning the dining area did a quick but very poor job. Seeing as there was a line to the door and trash on tables or a mess on the floor, the seating inside was kind of sparce. 3 to 4 employees were sitting down and taking a table to the right of the seating area. Considering it was pretty cold that day, I was taken aback by this. Especially that there was a woman with a baby who sat outside as an option. I didn't think this was cool. When finally getting my food and politely explaining to the manager running the cashier this was my first time there. He didn't offer guidance at all. But the employee next to him offered help and gave me direction that I couldn't go to the right of the large wooden structure. But would instead have to completely turn around and walk through the line of people I had already stood next to. It was uncomfortable pushing through people and being rushed by people who made it very obvious they didn't want to be there or care. The food was enjoyable. Chips were extremely salty. But the aqua fresas were nice take on the classic version. Having 2 to 4 diff choices. I don't know if there is a restroom. But there's about 35 seats inside and some outside. Really hope to come back and have a better experience next time, than this sterile one.
This was my first time trying Chipotle, and overall it was a mixed experience. I ordered a bowl with barbacoa, carnitas, white rice, fresh tomatillo salsa, lettuce, cheese, roasted chili corn salsa, sour cream, and queso blanco. The portions were very generous, the food seemed relatively fresh, and the tortillas were warm, which I appreciated. However, despite all the toppings, I was disappointed because I had high expectations going in. The flavors didn’t really stand out individually — everything blended into one single taste rather than having distinct flavors. There also wasn’t enough cheese for my liking, which took away from the experience. I ended up improvising by adding my own guacamole, chips, and hot sauce just to give it some flavor variety. While I can understand why Chipotle is popular, it just wasn’t for me personally.
I've tried to give this place the benefit of doubt but the last 3 times I have been here the store is always a mess. Simply dirty and trash everywhere. I don't know how the managers can't see this. I always order a bowl and even thst is done horrible. For the love of god drain the juice from the toppings. The actual bowl is made of cardboard. By the time I get home its a sloppy, soupy mess. I hope the new one on Saratoga have better standards.
The only good thing about this place was the guy making our plates. He was polite. As soon as we walked in, it was muggy, unpleasant smell and a puddle of water as soon as we opened the door. The bathrooms were disgusting. This was our first and last time going to this establishment. The food was not worth the price. We've heard positive things about this restaurant, but it was not that positive for us. We did appreciate the service. Polite and quick to change his gloves without being asked.
$38 for 2 little bowls and two fountain drinks. Besides the fact that we waited 17 mins in light and the short chubby girl looked annoyed and even asked the other girl what time is it. And rolled her eyes when they told her it was 8pm. Then she gave us very little meat that she scraped from the very bottom of the container. They were out of corn , chips , and pico de gallo. The dining area smells and is dirty!! This will be my last time in this location
My husband and I went for a late lunch. Haven't eaten at this location in a while because the last time we went the entire restaurant was filthy! It has been at least a year since we last ate there. We decided to give it another try but things have not changed. Garbage stacked high, trash and food all over tables and floors. 6-7 people in front of us in line and about 6 employees behind the counter. Nobody acknowledged any of the customers. After being ignored for about 15 minutes we left. We will not be eating at this location ever again. Staff definitely needs a refresher training course on cleanliness and courtesy.
As a former chiptole restaurantuer employee, this place is a huge bummer. Its the closest chipotle to me, as a life long fan i tend to get cravings for my favorite bowl or burrito. Out of the dozens of times i have been only once has the food been close to what it should be. Cut sizes are poor and inconsistent. The chips are greasy and most likely fried under temp or in such large quantities they dont actually become crisp. The staff seems annoyed when customers come in. There was a manager that was there a few back that seemed to be making headway, i havent seen them in the past year. I hope this store is not the baseline for the new store on saratoga as corpus has no true representation of what Chipotle is meant to be. Consistent, fresh, quality food served in a fast paced environment. Do better guys
An area manager desperately needs to step in at this location. There is food everywhere on the line, there aren’t enough people working, those that are working are either high, don’t care, can speak, or are a combination of all three. No one can wrap the burrito right. Online orders are never made on time. There is WAY too much rice added to everything. When someone asks for help it just falls on deaf ears. Chipotle has always been one of my favorite places to eat, but I have been so disgusted with the way things operate the past few times I’ve been in there I’m going to stop coming. A terrible reflection of a restaurant that used to be so great.
Just want to say how dissatisfied I was with the meal I got today. I ordered the carne asada but the steak was dry and the rice was cold and all lumped together. I also asked for the red chimchurri sauce and the guy put it in the bag before I looked at it. I didn't see it until we had already drove away. It looked really gross and watered down. I don't know why he gave me that if the sauce was no longer good. That's not how the sauce should turn out. I even tried shaking it in the container to give it the benefit of the doubt and see if it would turn to how the sauce should look, thick, but it did not. Also the chips were all stale too. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to eating Chipotle tonight only to have my whole entire meal be unsatisfactory!
Restaurant just opened last week and food was below mediocre. Service was even worse. Not one employee was happy or smiling, everyone of them looked depressed and as if they were being bothered to work. Lastly, the restaurant colors and messaging are just as lack luster as the food quality and employees. I purchased a steak burrito 11.70 and asked for the guacamole and hot sauce to be on the side and that was an extra $4.60. Steak was dry and flavorless. Would not complain if the burrito had been on point but it was not. Restaurant being down the street, would have been a great place to stop and pick up dinner couple times a week but the experience and food was down right embarrassing. Never going back.
The food was horrible. It was cold. I ordered a bowl with extra meat. It looked like I got 10 pieces of meat. I was so disappointed this restaurant is dirty the counter where the drinks napkins everything was empty. Nothing was available to your customers. I will never visit another chipotle if this is a service that will be getting very, very disappointed.
The food prep area was a huge mess and we had a hard time finding a clean spot to sit. The table tops and floors had food all over them. But, the reason I will no longer be able to eat food from Chipotle is because of what I saw happen today. One of the workers swept the table tops off with the same broom he was using to sweep the floors. I can only imagine what happens in the food area customers can’t see if this kind of thing happens in plain sight. I really hope a manager can review video footage of the sitting area to see the person who used a broom to clean a table top and retrain them. I could hardly believe what I saw. 10/29/25 around 3:25pm is when this happened.
I absolutely cannot believe this chip I had in my bag. I bit into this and literally choked on how disgusting this was. I don’t know if this was some sort of joke in the kitchen with your employees, but this is unacceptable to serve to people. I spent 40 dollars for food and this is what my money gets me? I’m a frequent customer to this location and have never had anything of the sort. The portion size was also poorly done this time, there was hardly any chicken, and both bowls I ordered were hardly filled at all. I don’t know if there’s new hires, but somebody doesn’t know how to do their job. Horrible experience today. I’d rather drive the 25 minutes to Portland after this service today.
Standee in a q for about 30 minutes. They have more than enough employee to run smoothly but very disorganized team. Multiple times they run out of food on counter. Employees were busy cracking jokes among themselves and absolutely no worry to refill station. I got half cooked rice and chicken. Very disappointing
March 2023: Food is great but I am especially bothered by how long it takes to get my online order. I have had to wait over 20-30 min the last two times I attempted online ordering. I wish their system gave a true estimate of when my meal would be ready. Jan 2024: food continues to taste amazing. However, it seems as though they’re understaffed ? On average, the cleanliness is horrendous. Trash cans are constantly overflowing, utensil / napkin location is very dirty / disorganized with trash in the area, and utensils are often placed with the fork prongs facing up (fingers easily touching where mouth is placed). I love the food, so I keep coming. However, I hope management sees this and developed a system that gets more staff hired. If this uncleanliness is visible to the customer, I can’t imagine whats going on behind the scenes.
