This place is definitely off the beaten path… a small trac from Russell Stover store in Corsicana. It is worth the trip! All the BBQ meat was delicious. Chicken breast was moist and favorably. Everyone loved the brisket. Ribs were falling off the bone tender. The street tacos had pulled pork and this was awesome. Our server was patient and very friendly. Sweet Tea was good. For my family, to find and like the same place, it is rare. Check this place out!

We stopped in on a recent stay in the area and I’m glad we did. They have a variety of items on their menu from burgers to BBQ. We tried a 3-meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. It came with 2 sides and a drink so we tried the mac and cheese and green beans. We also added a 1/4 of regular sausage to try as well. Everything was delicious. The food came out quick and hot. The bark was great on the brisket and the turkey was seasoned well. They had 3 different sauces (regular, spicy, and Carolina) we tried for the pulled pork and sausage. They have plenty of seating inside and even have some games to play while you wait. We didn’t have to wait very long and the service was excellent. Definitely worth checking out.

We love a good hole in the wall restaurant. Sometimes they have the best food, service, &atmosphere.This one has all of that and more. Each person in our party ordered something different. Chicken fingers with onion rings, 3 meat plate with beans & coleslaw, and the Saturday Seafood special. Things we definitely recommend & would get again- Turkey, ribs, (brisket was good, just not our fave of the 3 meats) onion rings, banana pudding, crab legs in the butter sauce, and the generous amount of seasoning on everything! We were raised in the south & search out restaurants that aren't afraid to add flavor and pizzazz with a few seasonings. And unfortunately many restaurants disappoint us in that way. But, thankfully that was not the case here. We will without a doubt be back probably once a month & will recommend this place to all of guests who ask us for dinner places. We loved the variety of menu items for every taste palate even our picky eaters from seafood, BBQ, pizza, and several desserts. Do yourself a favor & add this place to your go to places like we just did :) *Added bonus our special needs teen LOVED the Halloween decor & I couldn't help but smile & agree with the playful decor all around the restaurant 😄 *

I would give this place 10 stars!! The food is delicious and the service is courteous and well mannered. Brisket was tender and moist. The hamburger had the biggest patties I've ever seen. We came around 5:30 pm and it was not busy. It's clean and cool, (cool is very important in Texas).

I had the cheeseburger special with the homemade jalopeno cheese buns. It was juicy and you could tell they form they burgers in house. I also loved the hand dipped onion rings.

What a great BBQ joint on the side of the road. The brisket sandwich was amazing with the onion rings. We also ordered a BBQ sundae and what a delicious surprise. It was beans brisket and potato salad layered perfectly in large glass. I would highly recommend trying it for your self. The amazing part was the sizing and pricing. For $12 I was full with no left overs. We will be back if we are ever in the area again!

Some of the best "off the side of the road" places we have adventured to. It gives a hippy/gipsy vibe and that's fine but don't let it fool you - the BBQ is damn good! Potato salad is damn good also and I judge a BBQ place that serves sides in that. Good sauce. Nice portions.

First time eating here tonight and AMAZING! We went out on a limb and tried something new and different and SO glad we did. Staff is so friendly. Everything we ordered was Delicious! We will be retuning customers. Pulled pork & Blow out Fries pictured!

Excellent food, great service, friendly and engaging staff. I recommend the catfish, chopped brisket, jalepeno cheddar sausages, peach cobbler and ice cream to top everything off. Can’t go wrong. They’ll work with you to make custom sandwiches and burgers, add brisket to your burger, or pulled pork etc. gotta give em a try!

This place is a hidden gem!!! We had the family platter-meat on Friday for dinner, was AMAZING! We all had individual sandwiches Saturday night for dinner, the Ribeye Sandwich was soooooo juicy and tender!! We also had a hamburger, BLT and sliced brisket sandwich, none of them disappointed! We’re visiting from Michigan and Corpus Christi to meet my two month old granddaughter❤️❤️❤️

Great bbq and sweet tea. Nice place to stop for lunch or dinner. You pay for wat u get. Mcdonalds is down the road if you're into mystery food.

I personally had the seafood Saturday special. Everything had great flavor. Shrimp was perfect, no rubbery taste. The crab legs had great flavor too. I was very satisfied and left full. We also had ordered pizza and a ribeye burger. Everyone was satisfied with their food. Great server and service. 10/10 recommend.

We also tried jalapeño smoked sausage, chicken. Sides didn't disappoint either I love a good fried okra. We were greeted by such a kind lady who was also our server and if I had to guess probably owner. She enjoyed her job and was totally attentive. This is a must try. Have a blessed day.

Early lunch on a Saturday turned into a feast. Mom and Pop BBQ done well. The jalapeño poppers were enormous and fresh and delicious. The rib plate is a 2 person meal, and the chopped BBQ sandwich basket was very tasty. Everything was fresh and homemade. We are already looking at another visit, despite the hour drive.

Great little women-owed establishment right off the highway! The menu was all inclusive & had gluten free options (which can be hard to find in rural TX) + the atmosphere screamed friendly! The food was spectacular. Would absolutely go again

Never thought I would ever use cute with BBQ, but this "joint" is the cutest! Even my 4 year old granddaughter loved it. She was mesmerized by the chandeliers. 😍 And my grandson and her were thoroughly entertained by the table games they have available for little ones. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, the place was very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the overall vibe! Will definitely visit again.

We drove over an hour away from Dallas to try out Gipsy that was highly recommended by a few people and OMG 1000/10! We got a burger basket with onion rings and a pizza + their desserts list ! The place was very clean and unique. Games table and coloring books for kids (I colored one though lol) the staff was very friendly and helpful as we didn’t know what to order from all the options. Try it out! Pricing was very cheap too. We were surprised and very satisfied (:

I stopped in and got myself a sliced sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were homemade and the best I've ever had. The brisket was juicy and tender and the bun was perfectly toasted. They also just got a soda machine too which is great. All in all I'd rate this experience a 10 out of 10 and I'd rate the food a 15 out of 10. You're missing out if you haven't tried them yet.

Best bbq in Corsicana and absolutely best Cowboy beans in Texas. Can't wait to come back! UPDATE. This place has tanked. Just garbage brisket last couple of times I have came. Monday night and service is absolutely horrid.

Started off good. The entire staff was children, but they were polite and courteous. I ordered the jalapeno sausage and brisket with beans and potato salad. The sausage was pretty good, but everything else was inedible. The beans were flat out gross and the brisket was dry, leathery and tough. Seemed like it had been sitting under a lamp for hours. I brought this issue to the staff and the young lady offered me a refund for the brisket only. Maybe if they had some adults working the situation could have been salvaged, but after that experience I will not be returning. Ever. Still paying and leaving hungry makes for an awful experience.
