Ci siamo fermati per la vista... abbiamo trovato ottimo cibo, servizio cordiale e bellissimo ambiente!

Al momento aperto per il fine settimana. Questo gioiello di baita gode di una delle panoramiche più belle che ho mai visto. Complimenti anche per la struttura, moderna ma alpina allo stesso momento. Raggiungibile dal grandissimo parcheggio gratuito sterrato di fronte in 2 minuti. Ce presente un fasciatoio molto pulito. Coperto 2,50€ anche per le torte.

Abbiamo telefonato un'ora prima del nostro arrivo prenotando per le 12.30 e il personale si è rivelato da subito gentile e disponibile. Una volta in loco, personale accogliente e servizio veloce nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Le pietanze rispecchiano la tradizione e ci sono anche degli ottimi fuori menù. L'ambiente è coccolo e a ridosso delle piste da sci. Parcheggio molto ampio. Costo tra i 15 e 25€ a testa con un primo, un contorno, bevande e caffè. Il giusto per la qualità che si ha nel piatto. Sono curiosa di tornare con la bella stagione!

La baita è in un posto veramente magico, ci siamo venuti per cena, neve ovunque. Si parcheggia a circa 100 metri dal ristorante in uno spiazzo adiacente alla strada statale. Cibo eccezionale, menu ricco e servizio buono.

We agree - this is a local gem. Great food and ambience as well as killer views. We had the mushroom/onion soup, ravioli stuffed with local veggies - beets I think, polenta with goulash and the grilled endive. All were great. Much better food - and more interesting - than highly rated places in town. Stop here if you go to Cinque Torri or over the pass. Worth the ten minutes drive up from town too.

wow the tomato burrata pasta was so good. my husband and i scraped up the sauce with the bread they provided. carbonara was also amazing, but we agreed that maybe we should have both gotten our own individual tomato burrata pasta. idk what people are saying about the bad service, all of the servers greeted us and were so kind! i actually came here during closing time the day before and she provided a list of recommendations in town that’s open during the odd hours between lunch and dinner and waved goodbye and said “see you tomorrow!” pro tip: kitchen is open between 12:00 - 3:30 PM!

We stopped for lunch during our driving around the Dolomites. It was a spur of the moment decision to stop. In the future, I will plan to stop! Great food, even better views! The staff was very friendly and helpful, even to the silly American speakers of English! 😂

We popped by this place on our drive to Cortina D’Ampezzo. It’s a great spot to stop on the way to admire the beautiful view! This place was POPPING. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, ample parking directly at the restaurant and across the street. We had a couple of cappuccinos and a delicious tart that were both top notch!

The food was absolutely delicious, we got free potato mousse as a starter, the cheese pallet was mind-blowing (saying this as a cheese lover) and the jams accompanying it were perfect. We also ate mushroom appetizer and it was once again a banger. Main courses continued the trend, so you get the point - it's all well worth the price. Which is 't too high btw, especially for the level of food served in the restaurant.

This is such a beautiful baita, a mere 10-15 min drive from Cortina. Both indoor and outdoor seating. The views are beautiful. The food is great too (I’m a food snob so 4 stars). The best part was eating on one of the tables in the lawn and looking over the valley. MUST go.

Perfect lunch stop. Views from the outside tables are amazing, service friendly and very efficient, and food was delicious. Had homemade beetroot ravioli which was amazing and a papardella ragout which was also great along with some white wine.

First meal in Italy! The carbonara was really good and the pork fillet had nice potatoes to go with it. We paid 58.5 for three people and nice views of the mountains are guaranteed.

Highly recommend the carbonara tagliolini. The pasta was so fresh and sauce was creamy and tasty. Cheap delicious house wine, especially the red was delicious. The complimentary soup appetizer was delicious and such a surprise. A friend got the waffle with funghi and it was tiny and not like waffles at all. Don't recommend that. Views of the mountains at sunset were stunning and so worth bundling up to sit outside. Kitchen opens at 7pm so we sat outside on their lawn chairs and had wine until then.

Tipico locale montano , cucina del territorio comodo alla pista da sci ,ed anche ampio parcheggio di fronte.

Location bellissima con posti a sedere fuori ed una splendida vista. Cibo ottimo e veloci nel servizio. Consigliato!

Tipico rifugio di montagna, tutto in legno con personale fiscalde dal punto di vista dell'orario, frettoloso, ma preciso e veloce. Ho pranzato diverse volte in più giorni e le pietanze sono state sempre gustose e proporzionate al costo. Ottime le pappardelle al ragù di cervo e squisiti i carciofi con noci, stravecchio e melograno. Ben calda, ma molto acquosa, la zuppa di lenticchie. Carina la tovaglia-carta che riporta tutte le frasi storiche o simpatiche sul cibo. Lo consiglio anche per una pausa caffè.

Panorama mozzafiato, davvero: Tofane, Croda Rossa, Pomagagnon, Cristallo e Faloria. Consiglio di portare gli ospiti per fare bella figura. Cucina tipica, prezzi nella norma del luogo. I dolci secondo me non sono fatti in casa e neanche troppo di qualità rispetto al resto del cibo. Ambiente nuovo e pulito, ma servizio pressante e neanche troppo cortese, abbigliamento tirolese.

Bel posto vicino alla pista da sci. Quando siamo arrivati con le ciaspole era tutto coperto di neve..titolari molto brave e preparate e gentili. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene con pietanze abbondanti...buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo. A mio parere vale la pena di fermarsi...anche per il panorama. Consiglio la prenotazione.

We saw this was a family run mountain eatery with great views, easy parking and good menu, so drove up 30mts from Cortina for a meal (albeit late around 3,30pm) as on google it shows open. When we got there, were told their lunch service was over and they could hive us nothing at all. After we shared that we nearly spent an hour getting to them, they offered some toast (which they said was cheese, ham and tomato). When we got it, found there was no ham in it at all. English was a challenge for them so we didn’t go back to them to ask/share about it. The views from there of the Dolomites was good and parking right at their door. The ambience and decor of the place felt nice. They told us that while google says they are open, actually they are only open for drinks. And would try and get that corrected so others (believe it happens all the time) don’t make the effort to drive up and get disappointed with no food.

Andiamo a cena con un gruppo di amici e con molti bambini. Tavoli molto distanti, quando sarebbe bastato metterli in un tavolo dietro quello dei genitori - isolando il gruppo dal resto del locale: invece, sempre due genitori alzati per andare a vedere cosa succedeva con i più piccoli. Alle 21:30 il cuoco se ne va e chiude la cucina… cosa restate aperti per cena allora!? Se non si ordina tutto subito, alle 21:15 sguardi stupefatti e poi scocciati per una richiesta di un piatto in più. Da inviare tutti in Romagna per un corso accelerato sulla gestione dei clienti. Un cuoco romagnolo si alza dal letto e va a rincorrere la mucca se gli chiedi una costata fuori dagli orari standard.

Waitress that greeted us was rude and stared us down with judgement and disdain. We were just two walk-ins but she glared at us and coldly emphasised that it was a full house. The restaurant was 85% empty at 730pm on a Friday night. While we understand full reservations and that people may come at a later time, would have appreciated if they offered an option of “can you finish eating by a certain time as we need this table for the reservation” or put a sign outside the restaurant to say it’s fully booked. We also offered to sit at the very empty deck but was also rejected. Please treat people better.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food itself was okay—small portions but decent quality—but the service was truly appalling. When we arrived, the waitresses laughed and sniggered rather than greeting us professionally. They were warm and attentive only to people they already knew, but dismissive and unprofessional to everyone else. Their attire didn’t look professional, and their behavior was even worse. Menus were thrown onto the table without explanation, food was dropped down carelessly, and they made no effort to describe the dishes. Throughout the meal they shouted across the restaurant and even at guests. When walk-ins arrived without a reservation, they rolled their eyes and treated them rudely. Overall, the incompetence, lack of courtesy, and unprofessional attitude made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will never return.
