It's a great atmosphere! There's people outside, inside, sipping coffee and have conversations with old friends. Plenty of seating, and of course the menu is great! Love the coffee and the girls that work there are always sweet and helpful!

Iced latte was good, mom liked her hot coffee. She loves the banana bread. The everything bagel with egg and bacon really hit the spot. Tables were clean and service was good.

Nice interior design with floor to ceiling windows so you can watch what's going on on Main St. Outdoor seating offered in the summer months. Limited menu of other items like breakfast sandwiches, soup, specials, etc . Live music offered some evenings or for special events. Seems I may have seen beer and wine served too but double check that, don't take my word on that point. One of my favorite places in Cortland.

We love this place. The coffee is amazing, the half moon cookies are the size of a cake, and the entire establishment is just sexy! My only complaint is that we live 40 miles away.

I stopped by this coffee lounge/pour house on an unseasonably warm Sunday in January. Since it was early in the afternoon I got myself a large coffee (though I will be back sometime for an alcoholic beverage...more places should walk the line between coffeehouse and pub!). In addition to the coffee I had a Sour Cream Cherry Muffin, so delicious and so very creamy. While enjoying my afternoon treats, I listening to the conversations happening nearby. I don’t get to Cortland often, but this place seems like the place to be in town...and I will be back!!

I love going to Bru for brunch on the weekends. I recommend the "Cali Dreamin" and the cookies are to die for. Even though I am not a coffee person, there are smoothies to get that are also very tasty. It is the perfect spot to get some work done when it's a cold winter day in Cortland.

Great place to get coffee and chill for a bit. Only place in this area that I've seen french press! Will bring my husband next time to share a pot! I see they are a lot more than a good coffee shop however, so I'll come back to try their beer and food sometime too.

best bagels in upstate I swear!! They never give you messy thrown together food either everything is always neat and tidy never forgetting the extra napkins. The staff is always in a bright cheery mood and helps the ordering process be way less anxiety inducing.

Whether you're looking for a good place to get some work done or have a cold beer, Bru 64 is definitely the place to go. The selection of beers changes at the perfect rate, and the wine slushies are wonderful on summer days. If you're looking for a snack to pair with your drink, I'd personally recommend the pretzel sticks and buffalo chicken dip! The staff has always been extremely friendly, and specifically, Johnna always has a great new IPA to recommend! Additionally, the coffee and latte's are great, and their hot chocolate is one of the best around. My significant other has also highly recommended their bagels! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Great fast friendly service along with a great atmosphere

The people are great behind the counter/bar. They always serve with a smile and a hello. There is breakfast which is great, I personally get a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel but I've tried most of the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. The bar is great with a myriad of choices for beer and my wife likes the wine selection as well. Live bands play as well, check the schedule! You won't be disappointed with choosing Bru.

Good coffee in a nice large space with lots of tables available and pretty decent and reliable WiFi. They also have a little food, and beers on tap. There are always plenty of people there, but I've never had to wait very long and I've never had trouble finding a table. Independent local coffee shop / reclaimed wood / modern kind of vibe. Everyone seems happy and friendly.

I would give this place 10 stars if possible. Everything from the atmosphere to the delicious drinks and food are awesome. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had, and I have had many! The service is fast and friendly. Cool branding and a clean, trendy spot to sit and enjoy a bru! A must try!

Dropped in for breakfast. This is conveniently located with lots of parking on the street. The vibe was really relaxed and plenty of seating when I was there. I ordered the BLT Bagel with Siracha Mayo. It was really good! The extra little zing was amazing. I had a hot Matcha Latte to go asking with it and they made it really well. It looks like there is a great area to have a beverage and something to eat as well as get some work done, if you needed to. I highly recommended Bru 64!

I really enjoyed my experience at Bru 64! For those who haven't been here before, this is basically a combination of coffee house and bar (beer and wine; no hard liquors) with a fun atmosphere and light fare food items. They even have alternative beverages if you're not looking to indulge in caffeine or alcohol. This was the perfect hangout spot for a friend and I to meet up. We both ordered the veggie flatbread pizza and we were quite impressed by how good it tasted and by the quantity of veggies underneath the cheese. We enjoyed our drinks as well. I got a raspberry hot cocoa and my friend got some sort of smoothie. The staff was friendly. There's no table service. You order and pay at the register. If you order a drink that can be poured on-the-spot, you'll get it right away. Otherwise, you seat yourself and wait for your name to be called when your order is ready. You then walk over to the counter to pick it up. I found the prices here to be very reasonable, especially in light of the recent rate of inflation. Definitely a good value!

We stopped for coffee and something to eat and we were very happy with everything we ordered and the space was very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly as well! The coffee is a little weak, but their hot chocolate was very good and we really enjoyed our bagles. We particularly appreciated that they cooked our bacon extra crispy like had asked (something that's surprisingly hard to get). We also got a snickerdoodle cookie that was delicious! We definitely recommend Bru 64!

Bru is truly an amazing place. Probably our favorite place to go in downtown Cortland. In the mornings it’s a great place for a cup of coffee and a bagel. Afternoons we will stop and get an iced tea and a cookie. Evenings there’s live music and craft beers.

The bagel to cream cheese ratio is just right, super tasty. Their coffee and lattes are perfect. And oh the chocolate chip cookies I could eat all the time. I've had their macaroni and cheese as well, can't beat the spiral noodles and combinations of cheeses. The wildberry smoothie is my favorite thing, by far, to order from here. Whatever you choose to order they won't disappoint. Great addition to downtown Cortland.

A nice drive up, in and out kind of cafe. While not everything we ordered was quite to our taste, the bar like atmosphere was laid back and inviting without coming off as cheap. Sitting down inside offers a surprisingly attractive view of the city streets and really makes the experience. The food, again, was above average but a little hit or miss for us. Overall very nice!

Peach smoothie tastes like a version of that bubble gum medicine we all had as kids. Not a nice surprise. 😅 I also thought of those crunchy flint stone vitamins and that drink pregnant women have to take for a glucose test. I will not order that again but the rest of the drinks and food seem ok for now. The strawberry smoothie was enjoyable but I haven’t tried the other smoothies yet. Staff is nice and I love the look of the place

I normally get black coffee but since I was traveling and had a long day I decided to get myself a little treat. The drink had a perfect balance of flavors and was overly sweet nor did it taste too strongly of espresso. I was very pleased

Had a garlic bagel with egg and cheese. The bagel was very fluffy, and tasted good.Had a sm black coffee, but it was weak, i like it a little stronger. Service was polite and quick! Place filled up quickly, lots of construction on that road, so limited parking.

I want to like their smoothies but they just don't taste like real ingredients. More like flavorings and ice.

It has always been difficult for me to spend time in the Marketplace Mall due to the horrendously overpowering musty smell. But my friend had gift cards so we went to see what we could do with them. The menu is alright but there's special names for drinks which bothers me because sometimes I don't feel like I'm "cool enough" to be ordering it. (just let me order a tea or a coffee with no pretentiousness!) I got a chai made with steamed milk with a fancy name that escapes me. It was pretty good. My friend got some sort of peppermint/mocha/espresso concoction which she drank pretty quickly due to the tastiness. We shared a snack or chicken wing dip that was also quite good - it wasn't very spicy but was definitely full of flavor. I'd order it again if I were to go again. I didn't get a chance to try just plain coffee so I can't speak about that. I'm not sure I'll be coming back (unless I'm invited at the insistence of someone else) as it would be great to avoid the smell of the building.

I really enjoy coming here. I don't venture downtown often, but it's a good spot to reconnect with friends. I just noticed certain workers will take my cup and scoop the ice in it. Please stop doing that. It's not kosher and the ice scoop should used for that reason.

A busy atmosphere in the afternoon at around 3 on a Monday. Staff was friendly and working hard. Clean place. I had espresso. Not sure where it came from as there was no sign posted. Espresso was dark roasted, flat and thin with no sweetness to speak of. I think the barista did a really good job with some bad beans. I'll have to come back some time to drink beer and eat food to see if I can bring this rating up a bit.

It's a nice study location, pretty quiet and with lots of space and locations for charging your devices. Very quick service. The biggest downside is the lack of variety in the menu, there's pretty limited food options. Coffee and smoothies are pretty good.

We love this place; however, the last time we were there I ordered an iced soy chai. I understand the extra charge for soy, but the upcharge for light ice!?! Really!!! Unfortunately, we will probably be getting our drinks from Coffee Mania or Starbucks from now on. Great places also and no upcharge for less ice. Suggestion: Do not charge for less ice....not necessary.

The muffin tasted like a bagged muffin from a vending machine and the bagel sandwiches were over microwaved! I asked for toasted. Terrible. Coffee was good.

They close early so don't rely on their posted hours. Wanted to grab a coffee before my kid's dance class BRU has posted closing at 8pm but really they had washed the machines and closed the register 15 minutes before closing time. If you want food or drinks make sure to get their at least 15 minutes before they close. I was a regular costumer... Starbucks here I come!

I was disappointed by the lack of courtesy, service and respect that a friend of mine and I received at this establishment. We went up to the counter to get our food, but we needed forks and water. An employee working behind the counter saw us but ignored us. She was too busy showing another customer something on her phone. After waiting a bit, I actually had to interrupt her conversation and ask for the forks. The food was cold by the time we sat down to eat.
