My husband and I loved the food and pastries at Cafe Ficelle so much that we decided to go ahead with them for our wedding cake and dessert bar. We emailed them and Madison, the pastry chef, called us and met with us. Communication was great. She quickly made our taste testing box and timely delivered our cake and pastries. I had also sent her inspiration pictures and she met our vision for our cake perfectly. Cafe Ficelle is a great place to eat and dine in, and if you’re looking for a vendor, this is an amazing option!

Stopped in for a crescent and hot tea. The best!!! Fresh, flakey and just the right!! What a delightful cafe! Cozy and lots of offerings.They are open until 2. The tea was superb! Wish I had asked about the brand.

Located in Ventura off Mills, Café Ficelle is a delightful French-inspired bakery that promises a treat for the senses. From freshly made French pastries to decadent brunch options and a variety of fresh brew coffees and teas, this place has it all.I recently stopped by for a quick drink after a morning walk, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and brightness of the café. With ample seating, both indoors and outdoors, it's a perfect spot to relax, catch up on work, or enjoy coffee with friends. Ordering is easy at the counter, and the staff efficiently calls out names when orders are ready.The display of fresh-baked goods is tempting, with English muffins, croissants, and an array of other treats stealing the spotlight. They even offer loaves of bread and cakes for special orders. I opted for an iced chai tea with vanilla and soy milk, which was absolutely perfect.The staff were friendly and efficient, and the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be recommending Café Ficelle to friends and returning in the future for more delightful experiences.

This is a great coffee shop / cafe we found in Ventura, CA. The staff was super friendly, and the food and pastry offerings were top-notch. The coffee was so good that we found ourselves going there almost every morning during our 3 week stay in Ventura. The shop is easy to find with plenty of street parking nearby. Also, there is plenty of seating inside and patio seating outside.

They make a good latte and the pastries are fantastic. The loaves of bread are also excellent. A wonderful place to have breakfast and coffee. Very much recommended, thank you.

Loved the Christmas decorations! Super cozy and cute, a great hangout spot with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor. Got some pastries which looked and tasted great. Tried some holiday lattes which weren't as great, but still had a lovely time here. Found this place through Axxess, would visit again.

Stopped here to kill some time (very close to Ventura hospital). Interior is really spacious and clearly a local favorite as there were a good amount of people here. The drinks were good, I got a matcha latte with rose syrup. Do wish the drinks came out hotter though. And the food was very delicious. If I lived locally I could easily spend time here and read or work.

Very nice decors. Question to the chef, I had the French toast, it's delicious. However, I have had French toast where they would soak the toast before cooking it to give it a moist texture. I really enjoyed that type of French toast. I was a little disappointed that the French toast here is not like that.

Oh boy, this place is definitely making it harder for me to lose those extra pounds. Fantastic pasties and bread. Great coffee and friendly staff. Their meals are also hardy and full of flavor. My only issue with this place is all the broken plates and chipped mugs. Every time I go there (which is often) I always get something broken. For as much as you spend, this place should be mindful of what they are sending out. Especially since this place seems to pride itself on quality. There's nothing that ruins a presentation of beautiful food than a cracked or chipped dish. It's all part of the experience. Other than that, this place is consistent with their food. The pictures are from the last two weeks of visiting.

Order at register and they bring the food to your table Mimosa flight; Strawberry mango was much more mango than strawberry, served with a dried orange slice Blueberry has a very delicate flavor, pleasant, served with fresh blueberry spear Watermelon has very strong watermelon flavor, sweet, served with sugar ring Pineapple had an odd flavor, tasted slightly like lime, which could be the influence of the dried lime slice Tropical spritz; Heavy on the champagne, not very fruity, would not order again Chai was heavy on the cinnamon but tasty Avocado Tartine Served on multi grain bread, the crust is VERY hard I ordered mine with a fried egg, which helped, but the volume of toppings vs the size of the bread slice is very disproportional; I ended up cutting my bread in half and making a sandwich Probably would not order again French dip had the greatest presentation of all we ordered, came with a delicious side salad The caramelized shallots were an amazing addition, but the au jus was severely underwhelming Strawberry crêpe was the best dish we ordered; the crepe was light and fluffy, the strawberry topping was the right amount of sweet, with sliced strawberries, and whipped cream Would come back to try other lunch offerings, but not blown away

Good coffee, and enjoy the fresh bread and pastry options. Staff could improve a little with service. 3 stars off for being overpriced for bakery and drinks, rude staff on many occasions. $7.00 for the tiniest cappuccino with oat milk is crazy. As mentioned in reviews, the quality of their bakery items is not as good as it used to be.

Just stopped by for a capresse sandwich on baguette. The bread was not what it use to be, taste and texture of store purchased. The tomatoes were mealie, mozzarella was sliced so thick, 1/4” is too thick. For 18.00 bucks, before tip, I will not be returning.

Stopped by right at 7:30, thinking I’d get some fresh or at least slightly warm croissants, nope. They were $6 each and honestly tasted just like the ones from Costco. I also ordered an English muffin breakfast sandwich for $17, and for those prices, I expected something with a bit more quality. The cashier was friendly, which I appreciate, but overall, it’s hard to justify going back.
