Beautiful monastery with a spectacular cloister and a lovely church in an area close to the cathedral and a wonderful square.
A memorable place in the history of Aragon. Romanesque in style and very visited, both for its historical and architectural value.

A monument you can't miss while in Huesca. Affordable prices, and they provide a wealth of information about the site with QR codes located inside the church and in the cloister. The route to follow is very well marked. The receptionist was helpful.

Free entry if you buy the ticket at the cathedral. Maybe you need to go to cathedral first. The Monasterio de San Pedro el Viejo in Huesca was built in the 12th century in the Romanesque style. Its cloister features capitals similar to those of the nearby Monasterio de San Juan de la Peña, and depicts scenes from the Passion such as the Last Supper, the Kiss of Judas, and the Flagellation of Christ.

A 12th-century Romanesque building located in the city of Huesca. The Royal Pantheon boasts a beautiful cloister. A must-see.
It's a beautiful old monastery, but it's very deteriorated. Inside are the tombs of two kings. The cloister is beautiful, with its restored columns. It houses important works of art, but it's in a state of disrepair and poorly lit.

Visited here on walking tour of city, organised by tourist office. Very interesting place.
