Amazing food and service! Our server was attentive and friendly. Had the champagne flight which was unique and tastes amazing! I ordered the spicy chicken and waffles, also amazing, and my s/o got the smash burger. Their chocolate ganache is huge (good for 2 people) - could be better though. But their mint pie is awesome!! Reminds me of pie hole. 10/10 recommend!
I'd been following this profile on IG for a while because the posts look incredible. This is one of the very few times where the pics match the product. The food was fresh, quick and delicious 🤤. The staff were pleasant, friendly and made you feel like an old friend. It just so happened one of the owners, Michelle, stopped by our table to introduce herself, welcome us and proceed to tell us about some of menu/bakery items. You could tell she loves food and sharing that love. We had an order of chicken n' waffles and a pork belly rice bowl. As funny as it sounds, the food was nice and hot when it came out. The chicken was perfect, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Well seasoned with more than just salt & pepper. The waffle just kept the good stuff coming, toasty and fluffy at the same time. As for the pork belly, it was another hit. Full of mouth watering unctuousness. It was paired with pickled veggies, bok choy and a perfectly cooked sunnyside up egg. The pickled veggies offered the exact amount of contrast to all the richness of the pork belly. The whole experience left us planning another visit and wanting to taste everything else on the menu.
I loved this place! I went on a Sunday at about 9:30AM and there were already five parties on the waitlist. Luckily I was by myself so I got a seat at the bar right away. I ordered the chicken and waffles with the hot chicken and yuzu lemonade. The lemonade was so good! Not too sweet or tart like regular lemonade. The chicken and waffle portion was huge and definitely worth the price. I took one whole piece of chicken home and ate it the next day! The vanilla butter was delicious on the waffles. The bartender was very nice and attentive even when it started to get busy. A woman came around with cookie and poptart samples as I was finishing up which was unexpected and sweet. The parking lot is small, I was lucky to find a spot despite arriving early. I cannot wait to eat here again!
Our first time here yesterday and it was an Amazing experience. We felt really welcomed! The food was so good and yummy. The service was professional and very friendly. The oj is natural and not brand sugary. We enjoyed our experience so much, that we want to return, when back in town.
Came here for brunch on Sunday morning, and will definitely be coming back! Delicious food and great selection of cocktails. Kind of a Korean/Mexican fusion take on brunch classics. Renowned head chef and incredibly sweet owner who comes by to check on you. Try the Orange fried chicken with Black Sesame waffles... Or the Thai Chili Pork Chilaquiles 🙌
Wow this food is crazy good, it's like Korean Fusion meets Brunch! I got the Orange Mandarin Chicken N Waffles, they tasted amazing that I didn't even end up finishing all of it, girlfriend got the Breakfast Sandwich and basically inhaled the whole thing, parking is a bit crowded so just be patient
Amazing food. Comfort food upscaled in flavor. We shard several dishes and I would suggest this. The Nashville hot chicken 🐔 is not that hot and tastes amazing! The BLT wow. The bacon 🥓 delicious and is the most unique BLT I've had. French toast that is devine and hash browns that are like the French fries of breakfast a must have. Great Carmel latte and coffee. A must visit spot. The wait was pretty bad to get in 50 min w reservation.
Lovely little place with super friendly staff! Everyone loved their meals, and I got a shareable of the Ube French Toast, which was delicious but felt a little small to be a shareable option between 2 people. I also got the passion fruit lavender soda, which was fantastic. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes and great flavors 👍 I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
Finally got a chance to check this place out and was delighted by how good it is. The food here is definitely on the creative side and absolutely delicious. The flavors in the dish I got, Sisig burrito, were perfect and well balanced. The matcha latte was also great. Came during a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all. Staff was amazing and very hospitable, never felt rushed or anything like that.
We stopped by Toast Kitchen + Bakery during our spring break trip to California on Friday, April 18th — and wow, what a treat. The food was delicious (my sister’s ube latte was smooth, gentle, and floral — I definitely stole a sip), but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. It’s always great when the food is good, but when the service is just as thoughtful? That’s what makes a place unforgettable. We felt genuinely cared for the entire time — different team members checked in seamlessly, like they were all in sync, and we never once felt overlooked. To top it off, a lovely staff member brought out a tray of their house-made pies, and even though we were too full, she still offered us a taste of their chocolate cake. That kind of hospitality is rare. Toast isn’t just good — it’s gracious. And we’ll absolutely be back.
Staff is super friendly, food delicious. We started with the a flight of drinks, sampling their specialty. I had the tuna melt was so good.
VERDICT: An excellent choice for lunch. FOOD: The Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich holds immense complexity and hits all the notes in perfect pitch. The crisp of the chicken comes unencumbered by residual oil, and the crunch is pleasant but not overwhelming. The crispy tots are delicious and play a good second chair to the sandwich. DRINK: Beer on tap for $5 is a victory all its own. Great choices. I drank the hazy and the lager. SERVICE: The server was good, handling the misfire of a drink made incorrectly by remaking it herself (to an excellent product). They also forgot to make one of the sandwiches, which they made and comped and gave us a pie. While this visit was less-than-ideal in these respects, the staff were not defensive or rude but rather apologized and made it right. I can give grace to struggles regarding their software (the source of the woes) as the food was just killer.
The food was delicious! We got the Ube French toast, breakfast sandwich, and breakfast burrito. Highly recommend the Matcha latte. Our server, Mitchel, was awesome! Super friendly and personable, made the whole experience amazing :) Plus They let us have our dogs on the patio
Parking is a bit tough but we got lucky and got a spot nearby. Also Google Maps took me to the back of the restaurant. Checked in and the employee said the wait was 30 minutes and it was actually 37 minutes so it was solid estimating. We ordered the Ube French Toast, Ginger Peach soda and Sisig Burrito. I really liked the Sisig burrito, had great crunch with the chicharron but nice soft pork belly. Ube French Toast had the right amount of sweetness and the Ginger Peach was nice.
The breakfast burrito has a crisp tortilla like a chimichanga and the sauce is incredible. Their played are presented beautifully and taste excellent. Service was quick and friendly, had a great experience here. Had one of their hail Mary drinks and it was delicious with brunch. Best part was not having to wait in line for brunch and getting our food promptly. Will be back for sure
Great brunch, wonderful location and staff. The coffee is EXCELLENT. My cappuccinos competes with ones from Italy or France. I asked what coffee they use; the chef roasts her own. Of course she does. I came back the next day for another. By the way, dog friendly and kind too.
Delicious!! I would recommend coming with some friends so you can share food because there are lots of good things on the menu. On a Thursday morning, there wasn’t a wait for the table. We ordered the Ube French Toast, Fried Chicken and Waffle, and Sisig Burrito. I prefer savoury breakfast foods so for me, the burrito was the best, but I definitely enjoyed a few bites of the French toast for dessert. I also tried the cucumber chia seed limeade. Very refreshing!
Hot Chicken Sandwich 5 star. Could be hotter, But the crunch, the slaw, the pickles, the bun, and the sauce was a hit. Our Favorite of the night. Breakfast Burrito - 5 star. Great mix of flavors. Crunchy Salty perfection. Apple Pie - 5 Stars. Very Good and Saved our meal ! Definitely will try again....especially the Breakfast looks interesting.
This location is one of my favorite brunch spots. They have unique drinks, and there are usually a few selections which come with popsicles in them! Most drinks lose taste as the ice melts, but this one gains flavor from the melting popsicle. The drink you start with won't be the same as the drink you end up with! They have a patio so there is indoor and outdoor dining, and there is a bar as well. This place gets pretty busy but the wait is worth it. Parking is somewhat limited in the immediate area but there is plenty of parking in the streets and around trader joe's if you're fine with walking. The menu is constantly changing so it doesn't get stale. They use paper straws which are more sustainable than plastic ones! This restaurant is connected to Fill Bakery which a sells Mochi donuts! My personal favorite is the Vietnamese coffee flavor.
This is probably one of my favorite breakfast places to go to in the Costa Mesa / Newport Beach Area! The food is worth four (4) stars but the staff and hospitality easily catapult this location to five (5) stars! The food was good, the staff however was amazing and the location is great! I ended up opening my meal with a delicious Vanilla Latte paired with some Avocado Toast followed by some Funnel Cake Dough (not on the menu) that was compliments of the chef (Thanks ROB); finished with a chicken sandwich! Think Bruxie, but one notch above! Reflecting on the Vanilla Latte for a moment this had to be one of the best lattes I have had in some time, perfectly crafted and not to milky. I stronger encourage trying this with an extra shot of expre Be sure to join the waitlist via Yelp earlier enough, prior to your arrival especially on the weekends as this place can get busy and for delicious reasons. If in the area, be sure to check out Toast! Cheers,
Delicious, fresh baked bread for us to try was awesome. The location couldn't be better, but be ready to wait unless you're here early.
Awesome place! Service was great & the food was better. Highly recommend the fresh orange juice to go with whatever meal you get. This place seams like anything you order would be great. They get the serious high five!
Today's Sunday Grub-day adventure brought me to Orange county. Even though I wasn't with my usual foodie partner in crime I had an awesome substitute. It was my first time dining here and I was not disappointed. The seating time was about 35/40 minutes but it was definitely worth the wait!

I had the best French Toast I've ever tasted. My son and his girlfriend had breakfast burritos. They looked delicious. I don't usually eat all my meal but this time I scarfed it all.

Got here early.. Right at 8. We were sat straight away. 🍸 Bar seating or hightop tables with tv viewing. 📺 Indoor or outdoor table seating also available. Highchairs and 🖍 coloring kids menus with request. Great vibe and mixed nostalgic decorations to take in. Varied 50's 60's & 70's music 🎶 Our waiter had a great positive energy and was happy to offer suggestions. 💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛 A cool twist to many modern breakfast staples... I recommend the Cucumber chia mimosa with the blood orange mimosa coming in a close 2nd...🥂🍾 Breakfast burrito with chorizo on the side for me. The berry shortcake French toast with berries for the hubby..
A little pricey for what it is. Avocado toast is beautifully presented but rather bland in flavor, lemon ricotta barely comes through. Also toast was tough to cut with dull knife provided, softer toast or sharper knife suggested. Breakfast burrito and salsa was very tasty as were the eggs Benedict. Suggest you put some of the salsa on the toast if you want some flavor.
Random drive down the coast. Had this place saved and glad I stopped by. I got the Sisig burrito, and a guava pop tart. The burrito was very good, had a tasty sauce and liked the fries in it. I didn’t really like the chicharon and would have preferred a little more pork in it. Pop tart was good too but more cakey. Definitely would return to try other things. I did take out so hopefully they have decent service.
Breakfast was good. No wait time, probably because we were the first one there on a Sunday morning. The staff was very attentive and full of energy. Love all their vibes. I was skeptical about the Thai chilaquiles but it was actually good. You can taste the flavor and the chips were fresh. Of course i had the mimosa and it was delicious, it's hard to ruin a mimosa. 🤷🏽♀️. My husband ordered the french toast and he loved it! He is more of a sweet kind of person and the french toast hit the spot. I wouldn't recommend the hash brown. It was very crunchy and Oily. Almost like you taken a bite of oil. Did not sit well with my stomach. This place is great for a a quick bite, since the service was fast and efficient.
This place is clean, beautiful with its deco, but not as cozy and inviting as the pictures. They provide both inside and outdoor sitting area, perfect for lunch’s time, not so for breakfast or dinner as it does not give me the vibe of warm welcoming. For the food: I have Avocado 🥑 Toast and Ube here few days ago. Even though they are looking very appealing but it feels like something is missing which I could not quite figured out. The avocado is not fresh at all, given the main ingredient in the avocado toast, and Ube Latte is a bit too much milk, they only have 3 options for milk which whole milk, oat and almond. The service is not bad, but it could have been more organized as it is very confused where to sit or how to order when you first walked in, but I give 4* because the waitress are hard-working and friendly :)
I never know there's a brunch spot in this area. The restaurant is pretty crowded in the weekend, we reserved but still got the wait for roughly 20 minutes. Got the outside seats on a sunny day which is lovely. The service here is fast and the owner treated us with some bread appetizer that was delicious and lovely. The dishes here are good for your IG posts. Lovely. Highlights of the menu: 1. Orange chicken and black sesame waffle: super fusion 2. Cajun shrimps and grits, added eggs benedict on top 3. Soba noodles salad, added fried salmon 4. Cucumber chia seed limeade: really good
Glad my friend recommended that we have Brunch here. We added ourselves on the Yelp App waitlist and it's so convenient. You can see where you are at and plan to be there by the scheduled time. Once you arrive, check in with the hostess inside. Help yourself to some coffee (SHOTS) that should be outside. The wait can be long so plan accordingly. Sunday brunch seems really busy. Nice cute restaurant with a great menu selection. Madi was our server and she was very nice and pleasant. Food: 2 Pieces of Chicken and Belgian Waffle Burrata Salad The chicken and waffle was delicious and I would highly recommend it. The chicken was tasty and tender and the waffle just took it over the top. The Burrata Salad was equally delicious and refreshing. The nice white vinaigrette topped with Asian Pear and Strawberries were delightful. Overall, a great restaurant to dine at just a long wait.
Food was good and they customized my burrito because the only meat I eat is chicken so they removed bacon on my request. The cocktails were great. Bit on the pricey side but fun!

I had the 3x3 and it was really good. The latte was good as well. My wife had the specialty dish, the spicy chicken waffle . I'm not really sure how chicken fit with waffle. But ppl seem to like it. The menu was little pricey. But over all the restaurant was clean and new. good for casual visit
I visited this place twice this year (2021), first time was at the beginning of the year and second time was towards the end of the year. Unfortunately, second time experience was a bit disappointing. They were both crowded with long wait (one hour wait time for the second visit), but since long wait is expected, so no complaints in that department. The disappointment for the second visit was the food. They weren't as good as the first time.
Great sounding breakfast menu, but poor execution. The hashbrown potatoes are not good, they are completely flavorless, almost like they were steamed or something. The sausage patty is good and homemade. The bacon is not that great, it's partially cooked and then drizzled with maple syrup. The homemade jam is a nice touch for the toast. The pancake is probably the best thing they have. The coffee is good.
Found this place by a reference. No waiting time but the table is very dirty. We ordered three main courses, Ube French toast, chicken waffle, and BLT salad. First, the taste is really plain. Nothing special about the recipe. Price is on the higher side. The salad has only a few small pieces of bacon which cost $16. Overall, this place doesn’t match my expectations. We drove about 30 mins here to enjoy just a very common brunch, which was an insane decision. Can easily have a much better experience at NEP cafe just close by.

We got the fried chicken waffle, pork belly, Ube toast, and grilled avocado salad. The food was nicely presented, but was very mid. The waffle and toast were not flavorful, and the waffle was especially soggy. The pork belly was also very bland, with the rice being very soggy too. The avocado salad however was good, but portion was very small. The service was pretty good, but we did find a few items that made the dining experience less than satisfactory. There was white hair in the food and the cups used for water were rusted. Upon asking the waiter, they said that the cups have been rusted for 5 years now, with the owners aware. And yet they have not changed them. Overall the experience was very mediocre. It was not really worth the hour wait for the table. I would look elsewhere for a brunch place.
