Not sure why I never came here before - but 100% coming back again soon. All the food was presented well, and you could tell that this place is a cut above the usual Mexican fare. My Chili Verde had a smoky taste to it, and the sauce tasted like fresh tomatillios and cilantro. Margaritas were great, and the service was fantastic.
My husband and I come here a couple times a month after church and the food is always so good. We've never had anything that wasn't great quality and super tasty. Staff is always nice and respectful! Today my husband and I were in and I had a medical emergency (yikes) but it ended up being fine. I just want to say the owner and staff were so kind and helped my husband to help me. I am very thankful for their kindness!! Especially to the owner who helped us! God bless you! Everyone go check this place out. Super yummy food! They're going to be doing pancakes soon and we can't wait to try them!
Fantastic food at reasonable prices, with an experience topped off by an attentive and friendly staff. If you love salsa and haven’t tried Agave Aztecas’, you don’t really love salsa and should question your life’s salsa choices. 12/10, Highly recommend.
I loved my brunch here! The service was fast , the food top tier , the atmosphere loving and kind. I totally recommend this restaurant ! I will also add we had a great waiter named Jose. 10/10 recommend!
I look forward to coming to Agave Azteca when I come to Ralston. I dined here last year and the food is still as amazing as I remembered. Yesterday I had the piña loca and today I had the birria tacos. Both dishes were chef’s kiss!! Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The highlight of my visit was being served by Jose Torres. He was so attentive, polite, and gave excellent service. If you love eating great food prepared by great people, I highly recommend you give them a try!
I first wanna add that the decor is eclectic and very interesting to take in. If you have not enjoyed their spice coffee, you are missing a big treat. I came two days in a row while visiting this area and enjoyed Jose as my waiter. The food was great. My experience eating at this location to me was one of the best or top of the line Mexican places to go to. Another dish I do want to recommend is the red snapper dish, it is very similar style wise to an Jamaican red snapper dish. But really what makes this such a great experience is how they spend time with the detail on the presentation of the food that can give you such a great experience because it makes the food look very appetizing as well as the food is well prepared and they really go out of their way with their seasoning is great, but it’s not salty. Kudos to you guys. I will be back
Stopped here for a quick bite before an event at the arena. Let me tell ya, this is some of the best food I've ever had. Well portioned, high quality ingredients, excellent presentation. Chips and salsa were S-tier, the Enchaladas Rancheras S+ tier. If I wasn't so full, I'd order it again right now. The decoration is unique without being gaudy and over the top. The service was amazing, Jose is a very nice guy. The booths were super comfortable for a large person to sit at, and the tables were immaculate. I'll definitely make the drive from Lincoln again to come up.
I enjoyed this place. The waiter was nice and attentive. I enjoyed my food but couldn't finish it. Got the tortilla soup and Texas burrito. Wish I gotten it without the lettuce for the purpose of reheating leftovers. They have a wide array of meals, deals, and liquor options. Got a pitcher of margaritas as well.
We went for the Tuesday special all you can eat tacos and was a Lil disappointed as it's only chicken and ground beef and the chicken itself is watery and bland. The beef was pretty good. I ended up getting the burrito fajitas because I wanted carnitas and it was really good. The beans actually tasted pretty good and the salsa with the chips and dip and is the best I've had and not spicy at all. So far this is the best Mexican we have tried since moving up here. The staff is very attentive and kind. My only two issues were the bland chicken and the few options for all you can eat tacos. Still recommend coming here.
The waitresses and owner are very kind. They truly care about their customers, do everything they can to make sure we have the best experience possible, and come visit our table often. The atmosphere is so pretty. Food is good. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Jalapeño margaritas good, forgot to take pictures of food.
The food here was absolutely amazing. I got the Cajun fajitas with chicken and shrimp. They come with queso cheese and pineapple in it which is something I've never had before but I want to have it again. The wait staff was incredibly nice professional and on time. The food tasted great, and the theming and atmosphere of the restaurant is really really cool to look at everywhere you go.
Came in in a larger group for some dessert and snacks after a long day of moving. The decor was gorgeous! Seats were comfortable. The food was absolutely delightful. Ceviche was on point! There was a fried cheesecake something. I highly recommend. We all thought the salsa was absolutely great. Service was a ten out of 5. The lady serving us was funny and kept our cups full. Food came quickly. There is another decent table size I think seven people and then a group of five and then two smaller groups & us.
Jose helped us today; easy-going, friendly, quick, hard working, and he is a great sales person, too. I enjoyed the whole experience with my friend today. Margarita was good, and tacos de birria was great! Great flavor and it came with their spicy salsa and queso, too. I wish the consommé, dipping soup/sauce were served in a bigger bowl.
Agave was a nice stop for a quick lunch. The food and the service was very good, although the food was on the pricey side. We had the A-la-carte beef tacos and the beef enchiladas with rice and beans. The food was bursting with flavour, but felt a tad over seasoned. The chips and shells were fresh and the food presentation exceeded expectations.
I will admit I was really in the mood for a delicious margarita only to find out they cannot serve alcohol right now. We had already sat down so we proceeded with our orders. My son loves Mexican pizzas from Taco Bell so he chose that. I went with the healthier option : a chicken salad bowl. The bowl had rice, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, sour cream, chicken, and lime/avocado dressing. Very, very good salad!!! I had enough for two portions. I also tried as bite of his Mexican pizza, and I really liked it. Both are definitely options for next time! Our servers were attentive, and the restaurant was clean. Hopefully next time I can try them their margaritas!
Visited while on vacation. I had been wanting a Mexican pizza so I ordered it here but I disliked it. It was totally different than what I’ve had in the past. It looked great but just didn’t do anything for me. I was totally disappointed. Left hungry. The happy hour margaritas was basic $5 but just plain nothing to brag about. Our waitress was okay but seemed to be waiting on too many people. After we finished eating and was ready to go, we had to wait another 10 minutes for check.
The table side guacamole is only available Friday and Sunday after 5pm. Menu states tableside made fresh to your liking, but that’s the case, any time other than the two days above you get store bought crap for $13. And it’s not made to anybody’s liking. Drinks suck for $13 barely any tequila and had to wait for server to quit talking before getting a refill. Will NOT be going back terrible all the way around!
Had a large family gathering to celebrate the life of a loved one. Server seemed like we were a nuisance to deal with immediately upon arrival. (We had reservations). The one round of drinks were sub par and never to be seen for refill. The menu has way to much to choose from. Took two hours to get our food (understand that with 24 people) my burrito was still frozen on the inside. Everyone around me said their dish wasn’t the greatest but at least the basic taco was decent. The chips and salsa weren’t edible as well. The service was weird. I have never been to a restaurant where they acted like we were imposing on their time. Should have known by the fact that on a Friday night the place was empty. Don’t waste your time or money. Go grab a bowl of Pho.
