Buccanos at Night

We had an amazing dinner at Buccanos to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The food was absolutely stunning, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was magical, with a perfect spot by the sea to watch the sunset. The staff surprised us with a small birthday treat, which made the evening even more special. Great service, breathtaking views, and unforgettable food—Buccanos is a must-visit.

A great place to visit for my husband and I. The food was great, prices were pretty cheap. It was 400 pesos ~ $39USD to get in which goes towards your food/beverage, and a $25 taxi ride from the carnival cruise ship pier. We ended up having 3 mixed drinks, 1 beer, steak fries (amazing) and fish tacos (good but not my a fave but I’m also not big into fish but wanted to give it a try). With all that it ended up being an extra $31 plus tip. It wasn’t crowded, had no issues finding 2 loungers together for us and we got there around 1030. Def glad we went there versus going to one of the more popular/touristy places like Mr Sanchos. If you’re scared of birds though, might not be the best place for you. The seagulls were all over a plate of food that the waitstaff picked up but didn’t bring it to the back right away. Service was great though and free tequila tasting was nice too.

This place is a true gem!! I was referred to this place and I must say it is a dream! It's free, (don't let the taxi drivers make you believe it costs 25 pp). Just tell them nicely, I have reservations.. (P.S. they don't have reservations or any fees). Now you do pay a fee that'll equal 75.00 for a family of 4 but however much it cost. That amount goes towards your purchases of food, drinks. The food was really good, beach at your feet. Free chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment at no additional cost and more. I can't beat it here. Resort next to here has jet ski rental, snorkeling, paddle boarding and more. Just walk over and you can enjoy all those things for whatever their price is.

Easily the best beach club I’ve been too since I’ve been in Mexico! The staff was very accommodating,bilingual and wanting to assist whenever they can. It’s $400 pesos to get in which you can also use as credit for drinks and food. I also had the best surf and turf burger I’ve ever had at their restaurant! The views are immaculate and the vibes are exactly what you’re looking for in a beach club! They also have their concierge that will assist you with taxis back to your destination. Overall an A+ experience! We’ll definitely be back 💯

We went to Buccanos at Night for our first dinner in Cozumel and they knocked it out of the park! The food was delicious, presentation was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great! We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and desserts. By the end of the meal, everyone had smiles on their faces and we agreed our trip was off to a great start! The staff operated like a well-oiled machine. They were attentive and answered any questions about the menu. Before taking our order, they asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions. The food came out quickly and the portions were generous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and dessert was delicious. "Here have a bite. You have to try this!" seemed to be the theme at our table. We recommend anyone visiting Cozumel make sure to go to Buccanos at Night for dinner at least once.

We spent a whole day at Buccanos. The beach club had all we could want. It's beautiful and clean. Excellent service. Then, in the evening, we went back for dinner. The food and service and the view were stellar.

What an incredible experience had at buccanos at night. The food 100/10 the service 100/10. Felt like royalty and the owner and her son were so immersed with their guests. Just wow! Thank you so much we will be back!

A friend recommended Buccanos to us as his favorite family place, and my wife and I had a very beautiful beach day there. Great food options, friendly stuff, and even that they charge you 400 pesos/ $20US admission per person, you don't loose a penny, because you'll get a voucher for that, and it gets count against your spending at the end, which is a great deal. Great place, great vibe! Food is definitely above average, service is on point. Lots of shady or sunny places to be. The pool is an oasis with some shallow sitting zones. Walk in and snorkel. Yes you pay 400 pesos to get in but after lunch I only ended up paying 200 more pesos. Worth it for the atmosphere alone. I went and tried to save money somewhere else and ended up spending more money for none of the atmosphere.

We absolutely love this place we visit every year for our entire family vacation. They have so many things to do or you can relax and enjoy a pool or the beautiful beach the restaurant is awesome the wires and manager are the best we never go anywhere else. It cost to get in but anything you order from restaurant your entry fee is deducted from food bill. I wouldn't go any where else.

Beautiful and intimate restaurant. Staff are incredibly attentive, every time I took a sip of water it was topped off. Outdoor seating is perfect for a sunset. Me and my partner had the lobster tacos, fish and chips, brownie with ice cream, and we each got our own drink. All food and drink was delicious. The total came out to about $88 USD, or $1500 pesos.

Had an amazing day at Buccanos! The facilities were top-notch, with a pristine pool, relaxing spa, and delicious dining options you can also rent snorkel gear for $10 each person. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience truly special. Perfect spot for a rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommend!

Buccanos at Night offers the best dining experience on the island. Period. We travel regularly and Buccanos offers one of the best dinners I've had not only in Cozumel but anywhere. Filet mignon and shrimp was perfect. Drinks were fantastic and plenty strong. Try the Blitz Splitz! Staff are welcoming and attentive, the restaurant offers a beautiful setting for your evening. If you're looking to treat yourself, make sure to place a reservation with Buccanos and enjoy!

We had a great day at Buccanos last week. We arrived at about 10 and were able to get 2nd row loungers that still had a clear view of the water and also had nice thatched canopies. The snorkeling from the beach is good with a variety of fish, but it's not as good as destination coral reef snorkeling, so have reasonable expectations. The place is very clean with a calm and relaxed atmosphere and all the employees were friendly--it was exactly what we were looking for. The pool looked nice, but we didn't take advantage of it because we were enjoying the ocean and lounging. Our drinks were really good. The nachos and tacos my son and I ordered arrived fairly cold, but the others in our party said their food was quite good. The price is very reasonable, especially considering that the amount of admission is credited back to you for food and beverage purchases. Everyone in our party enjoyed the day and we will definitely return if we're on Cozumel again.

We had such a great time at Buccanos! The drinks were great, the vibe was relaxed and fun, and it was the perfect place to just hang out by the water. The shore snorkeling was amazing too, lots to see right off the beach. However, it was pretty windy and the current was very strong. The shore snorkeling was better at skyreef. It wasn't too terribly crowded during a busy cruise day.

Spent the day here on February 4th. Got there right at 10am via taxi and paid 400 pesos per person, which goes towards your food and drink there as a credit. Since we were early we got loungers front row by the ocean. We stayed for about 6.5 hours (the full day) and did so much snorkelling and relaxing by the beach. There were TONS of fish right off the shore and lots of variety, including barracudas. For lunch my partner and I shared the crispy chicken sandwich. It came with fries for $350 pesos. It was plenty of food for 2 people and very tasty. (Watch out for the seagulls!!) Over the course of the day my partner and I got 3 frozen cocktails ($200 peso each) and 1 beer (maybe $70 or 90 pesos). To be fair we are not big drinkers, so this was enough for us with our own bottled water we brought. Service was super friendly, but was sometimes hard to locate a staff member to place an order. Overall it was a bit over $1200 pesos with a tip for both of us, which we found was great value for 6.5 hours of relaxing under palm trees to the sound of waves, and snorkelling to my heart’s content. Will be back again for another day before my vacation is over!

One of the best restaurant on the Island and certainly the best beach club. The entrance is 400 pesos BUT you get the same amount of credit for eating and drinking. Its very fair. The snorkling is so amazing and the small beach is sandy.

Perfect little getaway spot on Cozumel! We got there right at opening and grabbed some chairs. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Very few people compared to other beachfront places. Also pretty good snorkeling for those interested.

A wonderful option for food, beach, snorkel. We default here for our day in Cozumel after coffee at Coz Coffee and before shopping at Chedraui and Soriana. We are at Buccano’s on the north end. The fee is $20USD per person for use of all facilities. But that is a credit applied to any food or beverage purchases. We like the lunch here. Massage is $95USD per hour. Beach and pool on premises.

Three beach club and fine dining at night.We had a lobster risotto and the shrimp skewers.As well as the shrimp pops for an appetizer. Very very very delicious

Get there early or all the lounge chairs may be gone. The food is more international than authentic BUT it is insanely good. Lunch and dinner. The caesar salad came in a giant parmesan bowl!!!

This restaurant is famous in Cozumel for a reason. Reservations are required. I had the best meal of my life here. The calamari appetizer was excellent, but the shrimp and crab ravioli was life-changing. My husband’s filet mignon was incredibly tender and juicy, and he said it was the best he has ever had. The service was fantastic, and the desserts—apple crumble parfait and brownie parfait—were phenomenal.

We are so happy that we found this place... we came with a cruiz ship and we're looking for a place to spend the day. The place had excellent reviews and was only 15 min a taxi drive away from the ship. The taxi was $20 in one direction. The Buccanos place is super clean, fantastic staff and great beach. We did some snorkeling and had lunch. We ordered fish and chips, chrispy chicken sandwich, soft shell crab and grilled octopus... we also had a bunch of drinks... so we paid $60 entrance fee, which goes towards the food consumption and our total in the end was $123 (60 we already paid). I would recommend the place and would visit again. The restrooms were super clean, the food was amazing.

Loved this place. The beach chairs and the beach are wonderful. The snorkeling is great here: lots of varied coral and lots of tropical fish. Food can take a while when they’re busy, but the atmosphere is fantastic. The place is so clean and there are plants everywhere. Best place on the island to spend the entire day!

What a great place to come for a sunset dinner. The staff, service, food, and atmosphere were all 10/10. We enjoyed some sushi and the lobster ricotta ravioli which were both excellent. Coming here at night to the restaurant feels extremely exclusive.

The cab driver tried to trick us into not coming here. He told us it was full and tried to bring us somewhere else, but I had him take us anyway. I'm so glad we did. We loved everything about this place. The staff was so friendly and the facilities are so clean and beautiful. We all agreed the massage was incredible. I'm so glad we came here.

Fantastic food and beautiful location. We think they forgot to put our order in, so it took an hour to get our food… but honestly, we weren’t really in any rush because it was so nice out and we were enjoying relaxing. Everyone else got their food in a timely manner, so I think it was an isolated mistake, and they comped one of our drinks for the delay. Don’t miss this spot for dinner!

Easy quick lunch. Good food. Nice beach club. Nice little beach, but beware if water is rough...some big rocks out about 15 feet off shore.

Awesome place!!! Loved the food, drinks, and service. Luis was great! The pool and beach is a bit smaller but I enjoyed the vibes. I even got a massage that was incredible. The one thing I didn’t like is that they advertise free tequila tasting but it is not tequila. It’s tequila liquor. A tourist scam.

We had a great day at the Buccanos Beach Club! It’s 400 pesos per person for entry, and that goes toward your food and beverage bill, which is easy to spend here. The food and drinks were delicious. We loved the mojitos, and both the chicken nachos and the calamari were fantastic. The service was good but a bit slow because it was so busy. For water fun, there is something for everyone. My 11yo enjoyed the pool and preferred it over the beach. My 15yo loved the ocean, especially jumping off the pier (note there is no lifeguard on duty, so swim/jump at your own risk). Definitely have water shoes for the ocean as it is rocky. The snorkeling is good here, but I think life jackets/preservers are good due to depth and the waves, which the club offers as part of a snorkel gear rental. If you have small kids, note that the ocean gets deep quite quick, and even though my 11yo is a strong swimmer, this made her nervous, which is why she decided the pool was her jam. The only thing that left us wanting is that I wish they had a better system for lounge chair seating. Seating is a free for all and there were a lot of isolated chairs making it difficult to find chairs together, even coming just 1 hour after opening. Other beach clubs will seat you as you arrive and this helps fill seats more efficiently. If you want a prime seat, arrive at opening. Overall, a wonderful day at the beach and we will definitely go back!

Great spot to go for couple hours or the day. Entry is $20 per person, not sure about kids, that goes towards good or drinks. Meals are about $20( very good portions). Drinks $9. Service can be slow, the guy came next to us multiple times to get drinks bill etc for other group, would have been easy to ask if we needed anything when he was leaving but nope. Oh well. Not a biggie. I've already recommended to people

Spent the afternoon here. Plenty of beach chairs, loungers both on the beach and around the pool. Sandy access to the ocean is small but usable. Apparently good snorkeling right there. Though we did not snorkel, you could see fish from the pier. Service was great. Pedro kept coming by to check on our bucket of beer to add fresh ice and take away empties and see if we needed anything else. Chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had in years. The firecracker cauliflower was decent as well, though it was not breaded as I expected.

Drinks were good, restrooms and customer areas were clean. Had to search to find chairs, but got to sit together (4 of us). Guacamole was delicious as were the plantain chips and the octopus ceviche. The tortilla chips tasted like the oil was old. The French fries needed salt and the BLT bread was meh. Nothing tasted bad, but not as good as some. Worth it if you want to snorkel off the cruise as they have a beach entry and a ladder to exit the surf. Cost is 400 pesos each to enter, but it is counted towards your food and drinks. They have massage, jet skis and tequila tasting. Music was there, but not very loud. Snorkeling is protected by bouys, but be aware of the jet skis as enter on the north end. Surge churns up visibility when you first get in, but if you go out about 8 meters it clears up quickly. Saw many reef fish including needle fish that were hunting in a large school of bait fish. Bring your own towels.

Money Bar Beach Club (no drama or entry fees, awesome Snorkle area, chaises, umbrellas, fresh water shower and change area, gr8 food & drink & service, insane sunsets & best music Fridays 6-8:30)No Name Swim up Bar and Beach Club, Sunset Beach Club, Jeanie’s 5-7pm Happy Hour, Hemmingways smooth romantic spot I’d gr8, Hotel B Unique (nicest and best Beach Club on the island by far) are much better choices….

I am not sure about this club …. Lets start with positives: 1/ beach is small but beautiful, clear water, shallow and lots of fishes which you can see even without snorkel 2/ no people offering you to buy towels, hats etc 3/ pool and showers 4/ pretty good selection of food and drinks in restaurant Negative: 1/ I DO NOT mind the entrance fee 200 pesos or $10 as it’s private beach club PLUS this will be taken off from your bill from restaurant. But the prices here are a bit more expensive than I expected (and compared to other private beach club which I have been earlier) 2/ food presentation is pretty good (I was watching other tables as well) but portions are too big in my opinion. Especially salad which I have ordered as starter… I have eaten just 1/3 of it and they have been surprised. Coconut shrimps are just ok. Nothing special and rice wasn’t good at all. Too heavy and creamy with not taste at all (I could feel just cream in it). 3/ no need for booking and although I was told that it’s not busy at all by reception I couldn’t find any chair for me. So I have asked them to have a look for one (I am solo traveler) otherwise I am leaving and would like to have entrance fee back. They have find one😂 I can’t imagine how does it look here when it is “busy”. Not sure if I’ll come again. And if so it will be already at 10am so I can grab the chair. Wouldn’t eat here again for sure.

Very chic place, super White Lotus vibes. Suggest coming here in the evening for a romantic dinner. Also, arrive a little early to secure a table overlooking the ocean and reserve before hand. Food and drink selection was very sophisticated in terms of presentation; food was cooked and tasted beyond expectation. And yes, the price tier is much higher than your average restaurant. Worth it. Sadly, due to Americans tipping every time, the wait staff was far too pushy on tips with us. Obviously, we did not tip. Management could pay them more considering the amount of money they askfor food and drink. If anyone should be tipped, it should be the cooks... On a bitter note, while my partner and I were exiting on the ground floor, one of the waiters ran down the stairs and asked, ' Hey guys, did you leave a tip for me ? ' Quite sad our night had to end in such a way after enjoying a beautiful dinner over looking the ocean… Management, pay your waiters more.
