We purchased the all inclusive package. Foodsm was great and drinks were good and cold, the facilities are clean. Fernando, he is the best , he. was friendly and kept those drinks coming! I have been to Chula’s three times now and the service and quality has improved each time. Yes, it will be busy however if you come early, you can almost always find a good seat. We always opt for the all inclusive package which will be about $70 (I recommend to bring cash). It includes everything in the menu picture I will attach. (Order the ceviche!) There are tons of activities and food/drinks to choose from. I recommend this beach to anyone who asks.

WE stepped off the cruise ship and met Thalia and her partner, Henry, from Tripping Cool tours. Thalia is quite a personable character. We liked her straight away. we used our Carnival ship pass to sign up and pay for the tour. Chulas is an outdoor beach access point with bathrooms, an outdoor bar, and a restaurant. Also, you can get a full-body massage within view of the beach. My loved it. You can go snorkeling, parasailing, and jet skiing if you desire. There are plenty of beach lounge chairs. and plenty of shaded areas with views of the beach. The bus looked a little shady, but after boarding it was comfortable enough. Getting in it may prove difficult for some people. My wife has rheumatoid arthritis, and she was able to climb aboard. We were very pleased with our choice of this tour and would do it again.

Fantastic day at the beach! Our servers Charmin and Angel were super fun and super attentive! It really was all inclusive! The food and the drinks were fabulous! We enjoyed the live music! The mariachi band was fun! I was glad I had my water shoes because it was rocky in places. We really appreciated the showers/dressing rooms. 10/10 ❤️ Can’t wait to visit again!

We booked this excursion at the last minute and we were so glad we did! This is a hidden gem! Food, drinks, and service were amazing. We’ve booked other beach resorts on past cruises and they are usually over crowded and don’t include personalized service and are at a much higher cost. Chula’s was all inclusive for $85. Our fee also included our own personal driver who drove us back to port when we were ready. This will definitely be our spot next time we visit Cozumel. Thank you Dana and Izbel!

Had a great time at Chula's Beach club. Highly recommended to anybody who visits Cozumel to take the time and enjoy the club. I really liked the tequila stand guy who let us taste some top quality tequila and how to drink each kind. The only reason the food didn't get 5 stars is let's face it this isn't a 5 star restaurant but it was perfect for what it is. 10/10

Chula's is a great choice for a family with little ones with plenty to offer to keep older kiddos/adults entertained. There was no loud booty shaking music and the service was top notch! Chula's is a nice, clean and well kept beach club. Irbis and his assistant saw to all our needs throughout our stay. They escorted our family to the beach, set up our umbrellas and pointed out the amenities. The price of entry was fantastic. It included the use of ALL the inflatable water toys, umbrellas, beach loungers, water wings, life vest AND kayaks! Snorkeling gear is also available. I do wish the food was a little higher quality but the burgers and fries were hot and the drinks were cold! The beach was clean, a bit rocky a few meters out from the waters edge at some areas but definitely not a deal breaker. For a family of 7, kiddos 5 years to 17 years, Chula's was a very great value for the money and fit our needs perfectly. Please remember to tip accordingly! 🙂

Absolutely Phenomenal time with the family here, we had a party of 10, id suggest getting the all inclusive for everyone including children, the food was pout of this world. I ordered a Lobster plate on the side and it was fresh and tasted amazing. We’re going back again on our next trip to Cozumel. The Manger/our waiter were both gracious and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. We decided to do a boat snorkeling trip for $400(not included in the all inclusive although normal snorkeling from shore IS) with “el gordoooo” and their crew. Cesiah our camera professional did a phenominal job with videos and pictures (about 5 and 100) for $250. They started us on a low depth snorkel first after riding for about 15 minutes on the boat. We swam with turtles and local fish! After that we went to the deeper part of the water at about 35’ deep and saw plenty of marine wildlife. The final stop was at a sandbar with Fresh Ceviche and Snorkeling with STINGRAYS!!! (PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE MARINE WILDLIFE)

We had so much fun. We did the all-inclusive package which included food for 4 hours and drinks all day long. My husband, my kids, and I got our money's worth of food. The food was great. The drinks were absolutely amazing. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking were all included in our all-inclusive package. The all inclusive package We got was $60 a piece. We enjoyed snorkeling very much We saw so many fish and little crabs. They also had inflatables to play on in the water as well which was included. The only thing extra was the massages which weren't badly priced. My husband thought his massage was absolutely amazing mine was too. The tequila they sell at the beach club to bring home with you is absolutely amazing. They even had a mariachi band that would come around and sing songs for you which was so fun and amazing. We had them sing La Bamba and we danced and had a good time.

Spent the day at Chula's while in port for the day in Cozumel. This was recommended to us by our taxi driver. Our group did the all inclusive package for $65/person. Our servers Dave and Fer were awesome, and they kept checking in on us. The food and drinks were pretty good, we definitely got out money's worth. The club itself had plenty to do, only complaint was that the beach itself was a rocky and you definitely need shoes to go in the water.

We had a good time cost $25 for 2 chairs with umbrella. It was not busy and the pool was small but adequate for the amount of people. The food and drink was not overpriced. The staff were very nice and the facilities were nice and clean. There is a busier place next door with more activities that you can pay to use. But we liked it little quieter on our side of the beach. There are huge rocks in the water so shoes are totally required, watch your toes. Cab ride was $18 each way per person it is cheaper if there are more people in a van. Next time will go to Mr. Sanchos looks like a better deal but we still had a nice time.

No es un lugar que recomendaría, quizás porque está demasiado orientado al turismo. Las sillas estaban muy sucias, había latas y platos de comida sin recoger, y el fondo de la playa estaba lleno de hojas, es desagradable caminar en ella. Además, pedir una bebida puede tomar hasta 15 minutos.

Si eres nacional, no te hacen caso los meseros. El menú es para extranjeros. La playa es aceptable, un poco sucia por tanto sargazo.

La playa está llena de piedras, los camastros son duros cómo piedra (vas a necesitar un quiropráctico), la reposeras están todas rotas. La comida es cara y poco tentadora y la música una porqueria. Nunca volveré.

No acostumbro hacer malas reseñas pero la verdad es que si quieres tener un buen recuerdo de tu estadía en Cozumel este lugar no es el mejor. Cuando te metes al agua está lleno re rocas, casi dejo un dedo en esa cantidad de rocas. La verdad es q Royal Caribean debería investigar mucho mejor los lugares que nos sugiere a los turistas Para servirme una piña colada se tardaron más de media hora . me iba a sentar en una banca cerca de el baño de mujeres y la verdad si la empleada no se fija casi me caigo que porque no sirve pero tampoco la cambian y si tienen dinero para hacer mejoras en el lugar porque estaba lleno de turistas y pienso que eso es normal que pase lleno Verdaderamente fue una estafa

Very packed location. Everyone is just jammed up by the beach. Music is blended with the club next door. Prices are crazy high and so many vendors selling you things. You can’t just sit there and enjoy your time. This is not a public beach, there is no way to access it without going through them or any other of these clubs

Overcrowded everywhere, worst experience ever. You can’t enjoy your day by the beach just because you don’t see beach here. Only lounges that’s it. It cost $15 per person. Yes cheap. But they charge of everything. It’s not a good thing. Want to seat not on the wood - pay! Food is the same price like in USA. Feels like everyone sees you as a wallet only. Vendors everywhere, distributing. Not recommended.

We asked for a suggestion of a more adult beach club (should have said low key adult beach club). Our taxi driver suggested a Chulas - said it was new and nice place. We should have stuck with original plan of Mr. Sanchos. We easily found chairs and umbrellas. The wood chairs were nice (not sure if it cost to get the padding for the chair - saw a few people with a cushion). There was so much seaweed on the beach and when you walked in the water (didn’t smell great either - but it’s the beach - I get it). We got the unlimited food and drink package. The unlimited food is smaller portions than are shown in their photographs. The food was okay - no better or worse than our cruise ship. We were drinking pina coladas. I was planning to tip at the end of our day but after drink number 2 we were on our own and went to the bar (couldn’t find the guy that was helping us). The massages were more expensive than I would have expected ($125 for 50 minutes). The music was so loud, graphic and filled with expletives. We did say adult so maybe that’s on us. It was better late in the day when they switched to more local music and we couldn’t understand the words. They did have snorkel equipment available but the water was not great. We went to the beach club next door and got a snorkel excursion. We paid $65 and were disappointed. Nothing was above mediocre. The free wifi kept kicking me off. Guess they didn’t want everyone to see their google rating. The restrooms were clean enough and they were working to improve the shower area. There were a few vendors that passed through but thankfully they were not aggressive.

Bueno e leído los comentarios negativos y concuerdo con varios, yo llegue por recomendación de el taxista que agarre y como fue la primera vez en la isla confíe, lamentablemente si salí desepcionado por el servicio y aunque dicen que no hacen distinción entre extranjeros y nacionales si lo hacen he invito al encargado o al dueño y cheque el servicio de sus meseros, yo en particular vi que a los americanos los ven y los tratan casi con caravanas yo le pedí la carta a un mesero y me la dio más a fuerza y la carta en inglés sabiendo que hay una en español,lo buscaba a la cara para pedirle y se asia el que no me veía mejor me pare a pedir directamente al restaurante comí la comida la verdad es cara para la calidad que dan , no importa pagar un precio alto pero que sea por algo de calidad, después fui donde sirven los tragos y trate de pagar en pesos mexicanos y que no tenían que puro dólar eso si me molestó ya que le dije que esto es México que su deber era tener las dos monedas creo que ya a estás personas se les a olvidado el español, cualquier precio que preguntas te lo quieren dar en dólares, recuerden amigos los extranjeros vienen de visita a nuestros pais no puedes tratar a tus compatriotas diferente también puedo igualar la cantidad de propina que ellos les puedan dar pero si por un buen servicio , les falta una buena supervisión ya que vi hasta meseros tomando cerveza, ojalá que esto les sirva para mejorar!!!!

I had a very poor experience at Chula’s Beach Club / Chulas Pool Party. First, they charge a $20 USD entrance fee, which might be acceptable if the experience matched the price — but it absolutely does not. The beach area is extremely small, full of rocks, and there were no sun chairs available in direct sunlight when we arrived. The space was overcrowded and uncomfortable. On top of that, the area lacked cleanliness, which made the experience even worse. What was most concerning, however, is that local taxis seem to “work with” this beach club and push visitors to come here instead of offering neutral options. Our taxi driver got out upon arrival and brought us to the counter. That already creates a bad first impression. After realizing the place was not at all what was presented, we asked to speak to a manager (Melissa) to request a refund. We had been there about 40 minutes — and spent 20 of those minutes just waiting for the manager to come. When she finally arrived, she laughed and rudely said no refund would be given because we had been there “more than 30 minutes.” The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was shocking. There was no willingness to listen, no attempt to find a solution — just a dismissive attitude. For $20 USD, there are many better beach clubs with better service, cleaner facilities, and a more enjoyable atmosphere. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Worst beach to go to. Full of sea weeds and stones and beach water is so turbid. I got injured my feet and my knees because of stones there. Sand is very thick too. Drinks we ordered was good though. Had worst experience with the photographer who takes Parrot pictures, extremely rude person. Overall donot recommend this place.

Es un lugar donde de plano no solo a extranjeros si no también a mexicanos nos quieren cobrar de más. Te cobran el acceso, te cobran el estar sentado en una silla, esperas una porción más razonable por lo que pagas al igual la atención, los meseros tienen mañas para cobrarte de más mucho ojo 👁

Si pudiera darles menos de una estrella lo haría. El lugar es espantosamente sucio. Se pagan $20 por persona (niño o adulto) para ingresar a una playa sucia, sin nada de mantenimiento. Además, las duchas exteriores y los baños no tienen nada de presión de agua.

El lugar es muy agradable, los costos no me parecieron elevados pues comprendo que es un lugar turístico, sin embargo el mesero "se cargó" un 20% de propina por decisión propia. Al ver el ticket y pregúntarle si la propina ya estaba incluida me comentó que sí, que era de 20%. Me pareció muy mal gusto que él decidiera el monto cuando he ido a lugares mucho mejores y siempre me preguntan por el monto que deseo dejar. Con estas cuestiones de ABUSO el buen servicio, el ambiente y el lugar quedan en segundo plano. Además en PROFECO se ha mencionado que la propina no es obligatoria y en este caso se quisieron encajar, así que decidí dejar el 10%. Lo recomiendo para pasar un rato agradable, pero recomiendo más que presten atención en la propina que "cobran".

Pésimo servicio, las fajitas eran un asco …. No dieron ningún side solo la carne con dos tortillas y más nada …. Cobran $5 por una botella de agua….. los meseros son los más antipáticos antisociales que puedan existir …. Yo siempre viajo pero jamás volveré a este lugar y éramos un grupo de 20 personas ….. y aparte de mal servicio mala comida y mal trato de atreven a pedir propina !!!!!! Horrible horrible mejor coman tacos de los puestos ej la calle estan mas ricos

Acabe llegando aqui porque el taxista nos lo recomendo. De seguro se gano algo de comision por los $20 dolares que cobraron por persona a la entrada. Las actividades no sirven. El kayak se le metia el agua y se empezo a hundir. El agua estaba bien sucia y tenia mucha hierbas y piedras que te estorban cuando estas caminando. No se los recomiendo a nadie este lugar. Mejor ir a otro lugar mas mejor y que valga lo que pagas.

Las cosas claras: Fué un abuso. Mi experiencia: te cobran un "cover" sólo para acceder ($450 mxn por persona)...con instalaciones cómo las de cualquier otra playa de la zona, y una vez dentro sus precios mañosamente resultan muy elevados ($400 por una piñada)...y se atreven además en cobrarte en dólares con un tipo de cambio hasta 3 pesos por dolar más devaluado del vigente +( Dá la impresión de que los taxistas reciben su respectiva "palmadita" por hablar bien y llevar a los turistas a ciertos lugares sin darte los detalles finos que pueden hacen la diferencia en tu experiencia de viaje. Aclaro, creo muy importante apoyar el desarrollo y manutención de las familias y los negocios de la zona... pero lo es también el NO fomentar el abuso a los turistas y visitantes de los cuales dependen su subsistencia. Tristemente para quienes nos atendieron bien...al final en mi experiencia fué una estafa. Recomendación: Pidan detalles y datos al llegar para no derrochar dinero en lugares que NO LO VALEN y que terminen con un amargo sabor de boca.

Soy mexicano y visite este lugar es bonito, y mi experiencia de este lugar es que es mas enfocado para los turistad extranjeros ya q los costos estan demasiado elevados $. Que lastima que siendo playas mexicanas y uno como mexicano no podamos disfrutar bien de estos bellos lugares. Definitivamente si eres mexicano no visites este lugar almenos que quieras gastar como en dolares.

Fue desepsionante cara la entrada 20 dólares por personas más 400 del taxi ida y regreso, la estaba playa estaba llena de sargazo no se veia nada, deberían bajar el precio en esta temporada para fomentar el turismo en estas fechas, piñas coladas en 18 dólares, hamburguesas 12 dólares, en mi caso quedé desepcionada sin ganas de regresar.

Si eres nacional no te recomiendo ir! Lamento mucho no haber leído los comentarios antes de llegar. Pedí un cóctel de camarones y ha sido el más deficiente que hasta la fecha eh probado, mi esposo pidió unas quesadillas con camarones y ni esas estaban bien 😓! Se vio a leguas la discriminación entre el turismo nacional y el internacional; dicen que te dan un tequila al llegar y no es cierto, es caro el cover, nos dijeron que cerraban a las 05:00 pm cuando pagamos y a las 03:30 pm ya estaban recogiendo por que se apegaban al horario de los cruceros 🚢, el lugar no es tan bonito. Los taxistas reciben comisión por llevar a los turistas allí, si puedes y lees antes no como yo, así busca otra mejor opción! P.D.: los alimentos más caros que hemos pagado en el viaje. Les debo las fotos por que estaba tan frustrada que ni tome 📸 . Si rentaste coche para tus vacaciones tráetelo por solo $1000 pesos a Cozumel en el ferri y va incluido el transporte del conductor y por las demás personas solo pagarás $80 pesos, sí no traes tu coche te tocará rentar algo muy pequeño por $1000 pesos y solo unas horas, o pagar taxis que te cobrarán de $300 para arriba 👆 por viaje!

PÉSIMO TODO. pagamos el acceso y el hombre que atendía en las amenidades de kayak/chalecos con el peor trato del mundo, de mala gana todo el tiempo; en cambio a los extranjeros los trataban de maravilla. Otro mesero solo nos daba los precios en dólares🙄 esto sin decir que nadie nos atendía, se enfocaban en extranjeros. CARO es poco: Un coco $500 pesos Una piña colada $380 Camarones $500 El servicio malo, el trato malo, las bebidas malas y la playa nada espectacular. 👎🏼 NO RECOMIENDO Y NO VOLVERÍA. ah, los taxistas cobrando 300 POR PERSONA para llevarlos de vuelta.

Es lamentable como están acostumbrados a aprovecharse del turismo, hubo un cobro inicial de $20 dólares $380 pesos que se suponía incluía una degustación de tequila, nunca la dieron, este pago es solo para usar los camastros, sombrillas, inflables en el agua, regaderas y baños. Lo peor vino con la cuenta, comimos 2 ceviches de camarón que juntos no acumulaban ni 10 pz de camaron, un pescado a la plancha algo seco. Nos incluyeron el 20% de propina sin preguntar nada, al reclamar me decían que así lo manejaban, los precios son elevados. La música pésima, monótona y a parte un chico hablando por micrófono que no se le entiende nada, en fin, taxistas en acuerdo con ellos para darles comisión por llevarnos al preguntar por un buen lugar para ir en cozumel, están muy acostumbrados a trabajar con el turismo de cruceros y cuando vamos los nacionales que por cierto éramos 3 mesas contra 15-20 de extranjeros por eso manejan la propina incluida y si no preguntas o haces tus cuentas te la aplican. En fin, lugar para no volver y no recomendar.

I should have listened to my local friend. From the moment we got off our cruise ship, this experience felt like a setup. At the taxi pickup, the director (Luis) steered us away from Carlos & Charlie’s Beach Club—where we were originally headed—and aggressively pushed Chulas instead. He told us kids 11 and under were free, and since we were a group of 13 with five kids, that was the deciding factor. That was a lie. As soon as we arrived, the story changed. The woman (Melissa) at the front informed us that kids are only free if they’re 5 and under. At that point, you’re already there, your transportation is gone, and they know they’ve got you. It was obvious the taxi driver benefits from funneling people here, regardless of what he tells them. And it didn’t stop there. Want a photo in front of their own CHULAS sign with your own phone? That costs extra too. Nickel-and-dimed at every turn. Yes, the server was polite, and yes, the kids still tried to make the best of it—but that doesn’t excuse a business model built on deception and tourist exploitation. Cozumel used to be a gem 20+ years ago. Now it’s an overpriced tourist trap where prices rival the U.S. with none of the cleanliness, honesty, or value. Experiences like this are exactly why people stop coming back. Save yourself the frustration. Skip Chulas entirely. If you want a better beach experience for less money and far less hassle, go to the Florida Keys, the Florida Panhandle, South Carolina, Savannah—literally anywhere else. This place deserves every bit of a one star and Chulas, you ain’t nearly as relevant as you think you are…

Do not waste your money. Absolute rip off. $40 per person to sit 200 feet from the not so clear water. Traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and never felt so ripped off anywhere. $7 for a cup of beer, $5 for a soda. Never again. In response to yours, sorry, we were charged $40 per person from the port. So if you are telling everyone it is $20, that is not true. We still have the receipt. And, your staff tried to sell me a 1.5 Lb whole snapper for $50. C'mon.... really. We had on quesadilla and a virgin pina colada and it was $30. Sorry, your place is a ripoff.

Don't do it! If you want to go to a beach that smells like poop, and where the waiters are trying to "get you", this is perfect. Pool is dirty, the beach is full of rocks and slimy, seaweed everywhere. Not to mention they overcharge you. Manny people leaving early, including my group of 40! Almost $2,000 wasted. Cheap liquor, and if you don't have the all inclusive pass (which only includes slow service and small tacos) they will not even give you a glass of water. The water slides were far and you can't even watch your kids from the shore. The guy in the pic is the thief that sold us the tickets. DON'T DO IT!
