A great place with a realistic Margaritaville vibe compared to our local restaurant at City Walk in Orlando. Of course this is due to the fact that ocean is right at it's doorstep. Good food with a great staff (they love their tips), and a great place to visit before leaving Cozumel.

Este lugar es increíble. Nos sentamos a esperar al resto del grupo que llegaban de ver las pirámides y al final comimos, bebimos y hasta bailamos, osea una experiencia maravillosa. El nacho volcán es una delicia, las margaritas ni hablar, por supuesto, las cervezas mega frías, y el servicio UFFFF. EXCELENTE

I think this spot. The food is a nice change from the days of cruise ship food. They're fajitas are great! The margaritas are on point. Everything is a bit pricey but I'm happy to pay it. Honestly my family and I enjoy just chilling around here and the port rather than going on excursion these because all the beach clubs have become tourist charge full of weak drinks and poor food here we can get good drinks and good food and we're not paying that extra cost per head.

Had a blast. The band was AWESOME. Can't remember the name but we were there 12/4/2025, sang along of country and kept the crowd engaged. The waitress Aleana? (I think that's right) was GREAT.

Fernando made our trip to cozumel!! Our excursion got canceled and didnt really have a plan B. It was early still and didnt have much dancing/partying in me but we sat down and fed off of all the employees vibes!! It was better than coffee! Fernando caught wind that it was my girlfriends birthday and next thing ya know she's got a sombroro on and a plane full of shots lands on the table! Thanks again brotha!!

Athena was such a great server. the food and drinks were teriffic. servers came out and danced. Aurora, the manager gave us tequila shots. I stop at alot of Margarettavilles and this has been the most friendly and entertaining I've been to so far.

This was my first time at the Port of Tampa terminal. It was still a pleasant experience. Easy in and easy out with the valet parking. The Islander ship is huge with plenty to see and do. I toured the ship while we were waiting for access to our rooms, which weren't accessible until 1:30pm.

Took a Margaritaville at Sea cruise just to go to Margaritaville in Cozumel. Had fun sitting on the patio drinking Dos Equis and enjoying watermelon jello shots. Staff was super fun and friendly. We go some great as shots of the ship and enjoyed looking at the fish in the crystal clear water.

My husband and I are big Margaritaville fans. Not only is this Margaritaville right in the port, but they're actually affordable. They sell slices of watermelon alcohol infused Jell-O in real watermelon rinds for just $3 USD a slice. It's an incredible deal. There are tons of photo opportunities here and the restaurant is clean. Margaritaville also tends to be one of the few places with a marked menu for gluten-free options. Visited TWICE in January 2025

Food was delicious!! Open area, outdoor seating with a nice view of the water! Friendly staff and speedy service!! At the time we were there, they even came to the table for a photo opportunity with your drinks and some sombreros!! Definitely recommend as a stop for some good food and a laid-back vibe to take in the scenery!!

We didn’t eat anything, but we had two mixed drinks and four beers enjoying people watching. Although the cruise port shopping area is a little pushy, the staff at Jimmy Buffet’s was super friendly and nice. We enjoyed our drinks and had fun. 52$ before tip. My t shirt was 32$. Very happy with our second visit. We were here last year about this same time, tried the made at the table guacamole, fun and tasty. A great respite from the shopping.

The food was not top notch but the service made up for it. And there were a few drunks they should have asked to leave that were quite obnoxious. But all in all the visit was more great memories made with my sisters!

You are off your cruise ship, bored, and a bit hungry. The greatest possible location. The food is ok, the service is ok, the band playing at the time...better than our cruise ship. The prices...exploding! No bathroom...don't drink too much. Fun...expensive...but the location is spectacular

Excellent service! The parmesan truffle fries and the steak tacos were both great. I don't love going to a chain restaurant on vacation to a new place, but we were able to grab a bite to eat while waiting for our cruise excursion because the meeting locations for the excursions are right next to the restaurant.

It was a ship day and the bar tenders and servers all looked beat down by 2pm. It was so hard to place an order I literally had to keep flagging for a good 20 minutes. Great party atmosphere though and obviously you want a party when you’re on vacation!

(Visited 9 Jan 2026) I do not want to sound negative but this Margaritaville was like no other that I had ever hung out in. There was no beach access. No pool of water of any kind which rules out a swim-up bar. There was something about the structure of it that did not allow air flow and on this day it was much too uncomfortable to belly up to the bar even. I am hoping to discover that this location is a Margaritaville in progress rather than the finished product. I gotta say I did, however, find the ultimate tee shirt...

We ordered the cheeseburger in paradise well done. When we got to the middle, the burgers were raw. I think i got about 15 French fries. The manager gave us a 10% discount. Absolutely unacceptable. We will not go there again.

Prices are ridiculously high. Queso tastes like Tostidos yellow queso in the jar with a few peppers thrown in with a hint of burnt. Pico de gallo was good. They wouldn't let us order Queso with chips and a side of Pico. Had to order them separately with chips. The constant up selling of shots and/or watermelon jello shots is annoying as hell. How many times do I have to say "No Thanks"? And don't get me started on the whistle blowing.

Good hang out place while waiting for shore excursions. We decided to try this place after the tour and coming from TX---this spot charged the most for tacos! Staff was rude when we pointed out Tacos shouldn't cost that much. No free chips even! I mean what! Anyway, watermelon jelly shots were separate sold for 3 dollars I think.

Wasted $160… All that money down the drain for terrible frozen food. We loved coming to Margaritaville when stopping in Cozumel. It was always a favorite food spot for good eats and beautiful views. But now they’ve cut down their menu to basic bland fare and upped the prices and needless antics. The only edible thing we ordered were the nachos. The boneless wings were just nuggets. The carrots and celery on the plate were old. The fish tacos were awful. Some of the fish pieces were slimy…others were so fishy I had to spit it out. Two bites in and I stopped eating. The “salsa” was a disgrace to any discerning palate. I’d rather eat Taco Bell hot sauce. The steak tacos were chewy, unpalatable and under seasoned. In addition to the bad food, there was a young woman going around offering shots. IN THE SAME SHOT GLASS. That is completely unsanitary and unsafe. In a post COVID world, you would think cleanliness was important. Or, at the very least, we learned the importance of hygiene and basic health safety. We saw her give a shot to an older Caucasian man, give the glass a quick shake, and turn around and give a shot to a young Hispanic male. Hopefully neither of them walked away from a bad expensive meal with a side of disease. Do not eat here. Run away … fast.
