Sin da bimba vengo in Vigezzo e da un anno che ci vivo, ho sempre sentito parlare bene di questo posto... Stasera caso è capitato che io e mio marito abbiamo cercato un ristorante e ho curiosato le recensioni per lo più da 5stelle, è vero anche che non ne faccio mai assoluto affidamento... Abbiamo ordinato dall'antipasto al dolce e siamo stati davvero entusiasti, tutto buonissimo e io mi sono innamorata di un dolce delizioso, panna cotta alla cannella con mele cotte, cramble salato e mandorle tostate... Mi ha rapita totalmente🙈 Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile i prezzi giusti... Grazie mille per l'ottima cena🙏😊
Luogo trovato per caso e quando ci so o entrata mi sono resa conto che ci ero già stata 26 anni fa quando andavo al campeggio lì sotto la sera con gli amici. Lho ritrovato piacevolmente come un tempo accogliente. Stavolta abbiamo preso i due primi. Per gola avremmo preso anche altro ma di sicuro ci torneremo la prossima volta che passeremo di lì. Crostata si sente che sia l'impasto che la marmellata è di loro produzione. Prezzi consoni a ciò che abbiamo mangiato ed al servizio e al di fuori del locale bella visuale

A delightful discovery by chance. A very convenient restaurant for those traveling, as La Stalla is on the way to Switzerland. A former stable has been renovated and transformed into a refined, relaxing, and comfortable environment. The food is of the highest quality, with challenging dishes that are easily digestible. Book well in advance as it fills up quickly.
We visited this restaurant for a midweek lunch and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, warm, and welcoming. Every detail is taken care of, like everything else here. Excellent cuisine, featuring local ingredients and unique dishes beautifully presented. We were amazed by the deliciousness of their fresh, homemade pasta and the friendliness and hospitality of the staff! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
Local restaurant serving typical Vigezzo Valley products. The Pasta Rustia is a must-try! A very filling dish! I had a great time and will definitely return if I'm in the area. Recommended
Excellent restaurant with truly delicious dishes. The polenta and bruscit were delicious, the egg in a rosti nest as an appetizer, and the gnocchi were truly excellent.
Really great Ribs
This will be our regular restaurant whenever we are in Craveggia / SMM, as we have bought a house almost next door. The service is very polite yet discreet. The food is excellent, dishes are large and fair priced. We came for lunch. We will be back!
We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and they even reserved a table for us out of the way to make room for our Labrador. Despite the misleading name, the dishes are refined and beautifully presented, without compromising on local ingredients. Although it's not close to us, we'll definitely be back to try other specialties that only caught our eye today. Excellent value.
Superb experience! We met them through the B&B I booked. Top-notch port and excellent quality. The service was exceptional, the waiter was very friendly and out of the ordinary! (Luckily!) I had a platter from the stable and gnocchetti all'Ossolana! Everything was delicious! I'm attaching the photos. 👍

Very tasty locally recipes in a warm environment. We particularly liked the homemade pasta with seasonal ingredients. The service was very friendly and the prices were fair. And I must add that the sweet pumpkin cake was superb; highly recommended! Reservations are almost mandatory for Saturday and Sunday.

Ci sono andato a pranzo di domenica, prenotazione praticamente obbligatoria perché il rischio di non trovare posto è alto. Posto molto carino, lo staff molto cordiale e accogliente. Ho ordinato una selezione di salumi e formaggi, raviolo "cervo goloso" e caffè Piatti molto buoni e servizio veloce. Prezzi giusti, ne una rapina ne un regalo. In somma posto consigliato, se dovessi ripassare in quella zona sicuramente ci ritornerei
L’ambiente si presenta molto accogliente ed il servizio cordiale ed efficiente, nonostante il locale fosse quasi pieno (consiglio di prenotare nelle sere di venerdì, sabato e domenica). Il menù, oltre alle pizze, è molto interessante con piatti tipici locali (dai salumi della Valle ad alcuni primi), qualche secondo di carne, specialità di polenta gratinate al forno e non, dolci di produzione propria, qualche etichetta di vino locale ed alcune birre artigianali ossolane Antipasto Vigezzino (Crudo di Vigezzo, Pancetta nostrana e lardo alle erbe) € 9, Pasta Rustia della Stalla, pasta casereccia gratinata con pancetta, patate, toma, cipolle e verza (€ 14)...un piatto delizioso e niente affatto pesante Entrecote di manzo ai ferri...deliziosa (€ 16) Taccole, un buon contorno € 4 e ottimi funghi porcini trifolati (€ 8,50), Crema catalana (€ 5,50), dessert condiviso e molto apprezzato. Peraltro tutti dolci sono di loro produzione, Ad accompagnare la cena dell’acqua (€ 2,50/1 litro) e del buon vino rosso fermo ossolano, Munaloss (€ 6,50 ½ litro) per un totale di € 70 in due (1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 secondo, 2 contorni, 1 dessert) Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono, considerate le materie prime, la buona mano in cucina, l’ambiente ed il servizio. Da ritornare ...e da consigliare!!
Buon ristorante di Santa Maria Maggiore che propone piatti tipici locali, molto sostanziosi come polenta e cervo e affettati, per scaldarsi durante la stagione invernale. Il locale è molto caratteristico e ben curato. Durante il periodo del mercatino, meglio prenotare il tavolo molto tempo prima. Di fronte al ristorante si trovano alcuni posti auto, dall'altra parte della strada. Prezzo medio.

Atmosfera calda, piatti tipici della zona che sanno di cucina familiare, preparazione un po' lunga ma il risultato è garantito. Prezzo giusto, consiglio la polenta valvigezo 2.0, tagliere misto di affettati abbondante, l'hanno preso per due persone ma alla fine yomeocito aiutare per finirlo.

We had lunch at this restaurant/pizzeria with a panoramic dining room overlooking the pine forest, a truly evocative sight. The restaurant has a warm and romantic atmosphere, with a rustic, typical mountain style, meticulous attention to detail and a very welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome. The service was impeccable. Our hosts were very professional, passionately describing the menu items and wines. *Wine: 2 glasses of good Vespolina* To begin the meal, we were offered a small delicacy consisting of two pieces of panfocaccia and cheese breadsticks, accompanied by a homemade mustard cream, which was very popular. For our appetizer, we chose the delicious raclette with cheese and egg, and a tasty and sweet Vigezzo prosciutto tagliolini. For our first course, a portion of "Rustia della Stalla" pasta, served in an aluminum pan, was very tasty. Next up was a portion of polenta with porcini mushrooms, which was overall enjoyable, although for my personal taste, the mushrooms were too garlicky, partially negating the aroma and flavor. Finally, a truly delicious and well-executed Bonet. An overall positive experience that will definitely make us want to return to try other dishes, including the pizza. Good value.
A very rustic and characteristic mountain restaurant, with attentive and fast service... traditional dishes based on polenta and game, and locally sourced cured meats. For those who prefer a traditional pizza alternative, this is a great choice. Recommended.
Siamo venuti in questo ristorante con un gruppo di amici per cercare di mangiare qualcosa di tipico. I piatti erano buoni e a prezzi ragionevoli, forse le porzioni di alcuni piatti erano un po’ piccoline ma va bene così. Il servizio non é stato particolarmente cordiale, a partire da un cameriere che ci é sembrato un po’ scortese, e per finire in cassa, dove hanno fatto qualche problema per pagare in carta.
I had dinner this evening at the inn, and I have to say it's expensive as a restaurant. The atmosphere may be quaint, but I wasn't thrilled with the graffiti on the wall. The prices are high and the portions are small; a €16 steak cost about €5 at the supermarket... I expected a higher quality steak for that price. Not to mention the poor cat that was kicked out at the end... a disgrace! Animals should be protected and pampered, not hunted!!!

Abbiamo pranzato da voi per la prima volta . Ambiente abbastanza caratteristico. Servizio non ci siamo molto confusionario . polenta e bruscit non erano male , ma era tutto in un piatto senza divisione delle due pietanze . pane gelato , focaccia gelata e dura . Tagliere di salumi e formaggi ní : bresaola un po' secca con retrogusto di cannella , mancherebbe a mio parere per accompagnare i formaggi del miele . Panna cotta al caramello ní. Un consiglio: mancherebbe un menù alla carta anche per verificare gli allergeni . se una persona non ha il cellulare per il codice QR è fregato . Prezzi nella media . Bagni puliti.
