In una splendida cornice d’ ambient è il locale migliore dove io abbia mangiato nel mio soggiorno di 3 giorni a Cremona . Consigliatissimi i Marubini e il bollito .

Come da tradizione a pochi giorni dal Natale ci siamo recati a Cremona per acquistare gli straordinari cotechini della storica salumeria Iotta. Abbiamo così deciso di fermarci a pranzo e questa volta abbiamo voluto provare la cucina dell’Hosteria 700 a poca distanza dal Duomo e situata nello storico palazzo della famiglia Barbò del 1837. Le sue sale interne ti fanno respirare la storicità del palazzo per le sue decorazioni. Il menù propone alcuni classici della cucina cremonese come i mitici Marubini ai tre brodi, i tortelli di zucca o il bollito misto oltre ad altre interessanti proposte. Segnaliamo una ottima Tatin di cipolle caramellate con gelato di grana e un Baccalà mantecato su salsa allo zafferano e cipolle di Tropea caramellate che è stato una autentica sorpresa per sapore e delicatezza. Straordinaria carta dei vini è un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Se siete in visita a Cremona vi assicuro che Hosteria 700 merita la sosta

Ambiente elegante e sosfisticato ma nello stesso tempo accogliente in pieno centro a Cremona, quasi nascosto in una piccola piazzetta. Il menù é sia di mare che di terra con portate che non deludono mai con un tocco di gusto e raffinatezza esclusivi. Servizio ottimo con ragazzi molto giovani e cordiali. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

La cucina celebra le tradizioni di Cremona con proposte rivisitate e curate nei minimi dettagli. Ogni piatto racconta passione e ricerca, ma tra tutti meritano una menzione speciale le crespelle ripiene di torrone. Sorprendente e delicata la tagliata tenerissima e dal sapore impeccabile Un plauso particolare va allo staff attento e sorridente e premuroso, che ha avuto la cortesia di preparare un tortino privo di derivati del latte per una persona della nostra comitiva con intolleranze alimentari. Un gesto che dimostra la grande sensibilità e professionalità del personale. Un esperienza culinaria di Altissimo livello in un contesto di rara bellezza a prezzi decisamente giusti. Complimenti davvero.

Hosteria 700 is a beautiful dining experience. The staff are wonderful. The space is grand and welcoming. And, most importantly, the food is just incredibly good. I had one of the best risotti (with radicchio and Amerone wine) ever there, to say nothing of several other excellent dishes. I adore Cremona and I adore this Hosteria.

My first time in Cremona for my wife and myself, i have been told about this restaurant from a friend, i wish i knew this place before because the quality of the ingredients is absolutely above expectations, the waiters assisting at the table are knowledgeable and well prepared, no matter what you choose from the menu is worth to try, i do recommend to everyone even if could be considered pricy .

A true hidden gem restaurant - excellent but was hard to find! I walked right past it as the sign is hard to see and it's surrounded by residential buildings. Definitely felt like a very authentic European restaurant, both in terms of vibrant ingredients and portion sizes. Beautiful decor that feels like a nobleman's parlor. We got some local specialties - cotechino sausage, marubini tortellini in 3 broths, and a cheese plate with mostarda fruit preserves. All 3 were fantastically composed dishes worth savoring. The cotechino was definitely the highlight. A wonderful taste of the local Cremonese cuisine, located near the Casa Stradivari if you're making a stop there. Highly recommended!

Excellent dinner tonight, very light and delicious potato gnocchi, prawn/ basil tagliatelle. Nougat semifreddo was a perfect dessert. Very friendly and attentive staff. Terrific wine !

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been in the Emilia-Romagna region. I had the onion tatin with parmesan gelato & traditional marubini in meat broth. The onion tatin was unimaginably caremelized and the parmesan gelato does a perfect counterbalance. Marubini had just the right ratio of dough to meat in an unassuming broth which simply blows your mind upon your first taste. Simply amazing. I wish I stayed in Cremona to go once more. I also love the ambience which is very pleasant with lots of natural lighting.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We started with appetizers of Mostarda with various cheeses, the marubini with three sauces, the risotto with veal and pasta dishes. Prices are fair. The locals eat here. Reservations are highly suggested. Wine list is great and fairly priced. It is highly recommended.

My very first visit to Italy and i was taken out for a meal at the Hosteria 700 . i was told not to make any judgement by the exterior look to the place as the outside does not look like much at all. To my surprise the interior is beautiful , the staff were excellent and the food was to die for. Everything about this place was five star. if you get the chance this is a must add to your bucket list.

Beautiful restaurant, the decor is very nice and the tables are well set in large rooms. The cuisine is Italian but it's not the boring, you-can-make-it-at-home type: the chef likes to play with the ingredients, and the results are worth a Michelin star! The only imperfection is that such an amazing food is not complemented by a Michelin star service. Don't get me wrong: there was no fault in the service, for a good restaurant, but this could aspire to be the best in this area, and it looks like they just don't care about it. If that's the case, please accept my apologies, but it's such a pity because it would take just a really small attention to details! Anyway, this restaurant is well worth a visit!

Hostaria 700 is an incredible dining experience! The ambiance is amazing—you truly feel like you’re eating inside a palace, surrounded by history and elegance. The quality of the food is excellent, with every dish beautifully prepared. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit on the expensive side, but the experience is definitely worth it!

Location molto curata in un palazzo storico, con tavoli spaziosi e ben distanziati gli uni dagli altri. Menu con vari piatti tipici cremonesi ed abbinamenti interessanti. Piatti gustosi e ben bilanciati, porzioni giuste. Peccato che al momento del pagamento c’è stata una spiacevole sorpresa: eravamo in 4 ed abbiamo speso 137€ in totale da scontrino emesso (34,25€ a testa) e, per aver chiesto di pagare con la carta con 4 conti divisi, ci è stato fatto pagare 34,50€ a testa senza nessuna spiegazione.

Over rated, expensive (for example they charge 30€ for a very basic Chardonnay wine) and average food. We booked a table for four for dinner al fresco, but at our arrival they offered a small table for two set up for four cramped guests. Cibo ottimo, ma qualità del servizio purtroppo scadente. Dopo aver terminato il secondo, abbiamo aspettato più di mezz'ora che ci togliessero i piatti dal tavolo, e un'ulteriore ora per ricevere la carta dei dolci (dopo aver richiamato il cameriere due/tre volte). Dopo aver aspettato ancora mezz'ora per un dolce la cui cottura avrebbe richiesto tra i dieci e i quindici minuti, ci è stato detto che la cucina era chiusa e che il dolce era terminato. Peccato perché il ristorante merita.

Disonesti ...propongono piatti fuori menù specificando un costo di 22€ ma alla fine ti fanno pagare 30€ per un risotto (di dubbia qualità e a mio parere precotto) zafferano e osso buco in più aggiungono una dicitura " fuori carta" di €7 oltre ad averci fatto pagare un calice di vino 13€ . tutto non indicato nel menù e non specificato alla proposizione. Spero vivamente la finanza vi faccia visita , siete davvero pessimi ! Lo sconsiglio vivamente a tutti.

Pessimo servizio e mediocre qualità del cibo. Ho chiesto la carta dei vini 2 volte (non mi è stata portata insieme al menu). È arrivato prima l'antipasto del vino. Terminato il secondo (il filetto era praticamente crudo e il guato del sangue occultava il condimento) ho chiesto la carta dei dolci due volte. Mai arrivata. Preso dallo sconforto sono ansato via senza dolce e senza caffè.

Since 2020, whenever i run an event in Cremona, i always bring my delegates to this restaurant, so till date at least i have been to this restaurant more than 20 times and each booking always is between 10 people to 45people. My company had spent at least €25k worth of eating with them. But today due to delegates last minute cancellation I wasn’t able to bring the number of people we had originally booked for. But the restaurant want me to pay extra €440 for food that we didn’t even eat for. Given the fact that we had given them so much business in the past, this is totally unacceptable. I will definitely not bring any of my customers to this restaurant anymore. Horrible service totally unacceptable.

Bad customer service. We have booked with this restaurant since 2020 at least 20 times and on average each booking is for 20 people. Today they make us pay for extra 8 people that last minute didn’t show up and that’s €440 exta for something we did not even eat. Never going to do any booking with them anymore. They obviously didn’t realised we have been spending at least €25k with them. Horrible customer service. Food is so so. Definitely will not go back to them anymore!
