Best Mexican restaurant in Seattle! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and an amazing menu with lots of options. The food was incredibly tasty, and the portions were very generous for the price. Definitely recommend. We will absolutely be coming back again!
Friend and I came here after the Seahawks championship parade because he said I had to try it! I’m glad he brought me here because this place was really good! We came around lunch time so we were lucky enough to order from the lunch menu. Once you walk in there is a person making fresh tortillas. So you know this place is going to be good! Their lunch menu is a solid lunch menu! I got the torta and a Pacifico and that torta was massive! They even give you a refried bean tostada as an appetizer for free! Glad I came here while I was in the area and I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
An authentic Mexicana style restaurant that truly delighted my husband and I. Stopped here on a whim and enjoyed a Carne Asada dish. They also give you a free tostada to enjoy. Split our meal as portion sizes are robust. Enjoy a well resourced drink menu listing a wide selection of tequila and cocktails. Great place to hang with friends or family! Friendly and prompt service. Oy yes, tortillas are freshly made and served warm. 😍
A few trays to go. No complaints. Loved the pound of guacamole! Their sauce has a spicy hit which I enjoyed.
The ambience was good and service was great. The food was 4/5. It was pretty authentic compared to other Mexican restaurants. I would recommend it for a date night or a night out with friends to start off the night
Went prior to a show at the paramount, what a great chose! Amazing food and service! Place was packed so a little loud. Had asada, and husband had fajitas, both dishes were great, homemade tortillas, melt in your mouth yummy! Ended up walking down to Paramount and back up after the show! Extra bonus, street parking on Sundays free.
As a cali native AND Latina, I’m always trying to find mexican restaurants that feel warm, comforting, and just bomb food lol Fogón has all of that and the servers are so attentive and made sure we were always good! Can’t say enough good things about this place, definitely a staple in our books!!!
Had dinner on a busy Friday night. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. Our server was came over right as we were seated to give us a chance to order from the fantastic happy hour menu as it ends at 6 pm and it was 10 till. Pretty good service I say. The Cerviche for $8 , heck yeah sign me and the margarita please. The carne asada plate was out of this world delicious. Fresh in house made tortillas. My only knock is how loud and cramped the space is but the food is service is top notch 👌
Wonderful meal with my wife. Ultimate margarita was flavorful and large. House guacamole was made fresh and tasty. I had the Enchilada mole which was the best sauce I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten Mexican all over the US. My wife had the Enchilada Jaibo which was stuffed with fresh crabmeat. We shared a Flan for desert which was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Pablo was a fantastic waiter. Can’t wait to visit Seattle again and come back to this great restaurant!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Seattle. Starting from the complimentary taco to ceviche, their foods are pretty authentic and great. Also, the portions and prices are decent. The staffs were very attentive and nice. Lastly, this place is good for both small and big parties. I would certainly recommend and come visit this place again.
After a busy day of traveling, this was some genuinely great, authentic Mexican cuisine to have. The dishes themselves evoked classic and comforting Mexican cuisine, the vibes were wonderful (with the front garage door open as the restaurant was packed with customers), and the service was prompt and so considerate as well. Overall, so worth it for a filling and great-tasting meal!
The food, Service, and Ambiance was amazing. As soon as I checked my party and I were quickly greeted and sat down to a table with a complimentary dish. The drinks we ordered were freshly made as well as the food we ordered and received hand made tortillas. Being a Mexican American who lives in Los Angeles California. I approve this restaurant to anybody craving Mexican Food
We dined at this restaurant on Saturday and had an exceptional experience. Although we had to wait 40 minutes before being seated, the meal was well worth the wait. Our server, Miguel, provided outstanding service, impressively recalling our orders without needing to write anything down. The food was consistently accurate, and the atmosphere was enhanced by great music and delicious drinks. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is one of the more authentic Mexican spots I’ve had in Seattle. The food didn’t completely wow me, but it was still pretty good overall. I’d definitely like to come back and try their tacos next time they seem like they could be really good.
The food was very good and portions were large; but I would have liked it to be spicier. We were there on Friday night and it was busy! The reviews said there was a fair amount of "ambience noise" and I agree. We were able to have a conversation but it could have been easier. We all tasted the "Ultimate Margarita with Mezcal ($17)" and the "El Toro ($15)" margaritas. The El Toro was better. I recommend the restaurant but go in knowing it can be noisy.
Amazing food and large portion. The crunchy appetizer was very interesting (had a little spicy kick) but I wish they’d just give tortilla chips and salsa instead. The spicy shrimp mushroom dish was actually so spicy with chili seeds all over that we had to order a side of sour cream to eat with. Also minus point that sour cream costed $4
The tortilla soup was delicious definitely get it and the chilaquiles were super good. The snowflake cocktail was okay I tasted more of the alcohol I’m more of the sweet drinker so I did leave it full not my cup of tea Abilene was our server and she was sweet definitely a warm welcome from here! Come here if you do want Mexican food ✨✨
Visited Fogón Cocina Mexicana on a busy Tuesday night. The place was packed, but wait times were surprisingly short. It’s definitely on the louder side, yet the lively vibe made it enjoyable. One thing to note - no complimentary chips and salsa like many other Mexican spots. What I ordered: Chile Relleno – Absolutely delicious, served with rice and beans. Every bite felt like dining at a high-quality spot. 100% worth it. Enchiladas Verdes – Went with the green sauce, and I have no complaints. Honestly, one of the best enchiladas in town. Jalapeño Tamales – This one was underwhelming. The flavors didn’t stand out, and the side salad was overly bitter. Wouldn’t recommend this dish. Hand-Pressed Tortillas – Simply superb. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I go back? Definitely.
We ordered the seafood fajitas, it didn't come on a standard sizzling platter. It was on a cold ceramic.plate. For the price we got about enough seafood to feed my cat. It was horrible. 4 tiny scallops smaller than a dime and 2 shrimp and sloppy array of soggy cold bell peppers. All green except maybe 2 strands of red peppers and 3 paper thin flour tortillas. Could you be any cheaper or sloppier with your ingredients or portions?
