A splendid place with a great atmosphere and wonderfully strange cider machines. Food was excellent and I had the best cabralas cheese I've ever had! Get there early or book. A must if you visit here. Staff friendly and standards excellent. Want to go back.

Wonderful restaurant and bar with lovely staff and great food! A lot of the local people come here, which is definitely a good sign! Try the local specialities and for sure the cidre! A must when you are in Cudillero!

If you want to be sure to get a table at this place at peak times, you must book a table. This is probably rated no 1 in Cudillero for a reason. We booked for 8 PM on. Monday night and it was full and with people waiting for every table becoming vacant. The food is good and the service friendly and helpful and gives you good advice regarding the food and the portion sizes. They are flexible and you can get half portions if their “raciones”.

We ordered sea bream without a listed on the menu. We were told It would cost 60€ but we were charged 80€ on the final bill. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Always ask for written prices before ordering. Very disappointing experience.

I never leave a bad review, but I feel the need for this restaurant. The very few staff were running round in circles trying to clear tables, take orders and deliver food and drinks. My food was warm rather than hot when delivered and two drinks, ordered separately never turned up at all. The worst aspect was the fish of the day. I was told it would be Euro 38 which I thought was expensive, but as Cudillero is a fishing port I would give it a go. I was very nice actually, but also very small. Not a relaxing experience and I left hungry. If my Spanish had been up to it I would have complained.

I do not recommend this place at all. The quality was low. I put more effort into writing this review then they did in their service and food quality. A few highlights: - The patatas bravas were undercooked / raw. I requested that they cook them more - they refused. - Croquettes - watery inside. Normally, the batter is thick. - We were served a dirty plate. - The mixed salad for €14 was romaine lettuce, canned corn, canned asparagas. This is very typical for a Spanish mixed salad but this was grocery store quality. - We ordered the €90 seafood plate. The clams were detached which could signal that the shells were reused, or canned. The shrimp were not properly cleaned so had the dirty, black lining inside, all the seafood was flavorless. We aren't sure how this was even possible? - All garlic was pre-cut but flavorless. - The sangria was terrible! (Or, they said, it was a tinto de verano - either way, terrible). Honestly, after the disappointing appetizer, we should have cancelled our order. We ultimately ended up paying €160 for a family of 5. It would have been nice to enjoy anything - something about our meal. One star for the company at the table - we enjoyed each other, at least.

Shocking. Very poor food. Patatas Bravas were limp chips with a cheap spicy ketchup. Aviles sausage was sausage that tasted like Spam (really), droopy chips and eggs. Seafood was OK. Waiter was smoking next to our table. Need I say more.

To be avoided at all cost. The pictures and positive reviews they have online are fake. The service is a disgrace. They put everything we ordered on our table at the same time. Starters and mains. The food is horrible. Everything prepared in advance. Mussels that have probably been cooked days before. In the end, they even tried making us pay in cash, clamouring and keeping us wait when we insisted that we wanted to pay by credit card. In short, your traditional tourist trap.
