Though the food was very good, everything had really good portions, Kim chi wasn't very strong though. The seafood pancakes were very crunchy, Kim chi fried tasted good. Peaceful atmosphere, very easy to talk. Food served fast.
All the menu items recommended by the owners/staff were remarkable! My family loved it. Great portions, wonderful ambiance and family friendly vibe, and we accidentally stayed way past closing and no one rushed us out. Suprised there wasn’t a line out the door on a Saturday night. Highly recommend.
I was hesitant to come in because this is the only restaurant in the area without a long line for a Saturday lunch - but turns out the food was amazing! The service was great and they offer refills for the appetizers as well. The seafood bibimbap tastes very well. Definitely will come back!
Amazing food. Tofu Bibimbap was very good. Ordered that with purple rice. Tofu was a little dry , but still soft. And also ordered spicy tofu stew. Very warm and tasty. Went at about 12pm on a Sunday. Got a place immediately and service was pretty quick.
my go to place for tofu stew 🍲 the owner is a very sweet person and took great care of us- the server kept loading us up with side dishes. I got the dumpling tofu stew with ramen and a side of rice, my friend got a beef bibimbap- both were amazingly cooked. Highly highly recommend!!!
You know the food is going to taste good when "Just One Day" by BTS is playing as soon as you walk into the restaurant. This is a cozy restaurant tucked away in the busy Marketplace Cupertino Plaza. I highly recommend the Seafood Green Onion Pancake! The perfectly crispy texture combined with a fluffy batter in the center. They don't skimp in the seafood too! Many pieces of squid especially. Our waitress REALLY wanted us to order this, so we knew we were making the right decision. Everyone who comes here gets their Soft Tofu Soup (Soondubu Jjigae) and the portions are superb. I left so full and even had leftovers! With all the good quality side dishes and hearty soup, I left satisfied. One of my favorite spots!
Authentic Korean cuisine. I ordered chicken hot stone bowl and seafood tofu broth. It was delicious. Kimchi was good too. The owners were nice and friendly. Spacious restaurant. Before I picked this restaurant, I worried about if their ventilation system was enough because I didn’t want my hairs smelled smoky from other people bbq smoke. It was important for me that they didn’t have this issue unlike other Korean restaurants. Overall was good. I would definitely come back again.
This is by far the most underrated korean restaurant I have ever been to. There were tons of choices on the menu, and my family ordered a lot. I was extremely satisfied with all the authentic food, and the service was very efficient and friendly. The ambience was also very nice and spacious. Overall, I was happy with the experience and totally recommend it. Considering how the restaurant is usually quite packed, I was surprised at how few people there were. I hope their great service and food survives the pandemic!
Came here for a Friday night dinner around 6pm. We were seated quickly. Three items ordered: seafood pancake, mixed soon tocu, and the ribs. The seafood pancake was nice and crispy, and not too oily. Very good. The ribs were well seasoned and tender. We ordered the extra lettuce and seasoning sauce for just 79 cents more, which is a great addition to the meal to make it feel a bit more healthy. The soon tofu was spicy, but the heat was immediate and faded quickly. The only downside is that the entrees are a dollar or two now expensive than I would have liked.

RESTROOM = 5/5 Clean SERVICE = 5/5 Attentive FOOD = 5/5 Superior This was our first time here and it definitely won't be our last. I always say that you can tell a lot about an establishment by how they maintain their restrooms. The restrooms were very clean and there was plenty of toilet paper, seat covers and paper towels. The server was extremely kind and let us know what his favorite foods were. The bibimbap was probably the best I ever had. I usually finish all of it and am still hungry. This bibimbap was huge and it was excellent. The side dishes were fresh and excellent. All of the food was top quality.
The BEST place in the Bay Area for galbi, yukgaejang, and bibimbap. If you’re craving authentic Korean food, this is a must-try spot. The side dishes (banchan) are especially delicious—always fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. The staff is consistently kind and welcoming, and the portions are very generous. Considering the quality and the variety of complimentary banchan, the value is outstanding. You truly get more than what you pay for.

Nice meal at Kong Tofu & BBQ 🍲 We ordered the original bibimbap with beef, one served in a hot stone bowl and the other regular. The regular version came with purple rice, which was a nice touch. Between the two, we definitely preferred the hot stone bibimbap since it stayed warm throughout the meal and the flavors came together better. The regular one tasted good but wasn’t as warm as we expected. Overall, a solid spot for Korean comfort food, especially if you go for the hot stone option.
Went for lunch with a friend. We arrived a few minutes ago of opening time, but we were seated right away. Friendly service. We shared #41 (it's not that spicy if you are used to spice) and the green seafood pancake. The banchan was delicious. We got some additional mixed rice, but honestly we couldn't finish what we ordered. Good portion sizes. Friend's little daughter ordered ramen but found the mild was too spicy for her liking. The tea was also nice. Nice place - I can see going again. It's just a bit pricey. But I guess if you're sharing a dish it all evens out.
Above average dining experience at this Korean restaurant in Cupertino. Service was fast and friendly. The tofu soup and spicy squid were both solid, but the banchan was very average. Parking lot layout is a bit funky, so finding a spot can take time and some maneuvering around the careless drivers.
I believe we went to the restaurant close to its closing time as Apple map stated an incorrect operating hours. The staff was kind enough to seat us without pointing out to us that they are closing. We ordered immediately and service was very efficient. The banchans are good especially the kimchi which is plentiful and authentic. I had tofu soup with oyster and my friend ordered the spicy pork. Both are tasty. I appreciate that the staff were very kind and hospitable.
Went here for dinner and it was super busy. Felt like it was a short staffed but that didn't bother me. I get it. They were very nice and no one was rude to us The food was good. Wasn't amazing but I would come back again. My wife and I got different bibimbop. She got the regular bibimbop with purple rice while I got the wagu stone pot version. I highly recommend the stone pot since it has the crispy rice on the bottom. the server recommended us the pancake which we didn't try. I saw the other tables and it looks delicious Like I mentioned earlier, I would come back again and try. hopefully the soup and the pancake would change my review. Also to close on this review, I would really like to emphasize that the price was great compared to the amount of food you're getting.
I ordered a Wagyu Bimimbab in the Hot Stone, and it was pretty good. The veggies were good, and the wagyu was cooked well. But, there was little rice, and the stone bowl burnt all the good patches. Service was good, almost forgot to give our credit card back, but she was very nice about it and apologized. All the waiters and waitresses were kind-hearted. The tables and everything was clean, and it feels pretty cozy in the restaurant.
Great food. Wide variety of dishes (non-veg and veg) Broths, noodles and meats are soo flavorful and the side dishes are also very tasty. Spice levels can be changed so this is very good. Recommend the veggie noodles, bibimbap and the beef noodle soup and chicken ramen.

Kimchi is a little bland. The fish cake is good. The seafood tofu soup is delicious, but wagyu bibimbap has very little beef in it.
Total Score: 6.44 Bathroom: N/A Didn’t use the bathroom Customer Service: 4/5 Very nice and early to grab. Felt bad for coming in so close to closing. Ambiance: 3.75/5 Normal Korean restaurant vibes Food: 3.5/5 Twas fair. Tofu had good spice and flavor and there was japchae bonchon. Wow: 0/1 Normal Korean restaurant Total Score = (CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW)/0.9
Each dish had very little meat although it was tasty. Bonchon was good and I wanted more but the server never returned for 20 min probably the only one working the entire restaurant. She was very friendly though.

They forgot our hot tea. TWICE. When I said the stew was spicy and I ordered a non-spicy one. They just said it’s non-spicy and LEFT. I had to switch my pot with my husband. The service was worth minus tip.
