Yesterday I went back to Sushi Sake in Cutler Bay and I still have a huge smile on my face. Excellent service, Neysi and her team do a great job. The place is a gem: soft lighting, a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, and music that envelops you without being intrusive. We had an amazing evening, one of those that makes you forget the stress of the day. Wow, I highly recommend the ceviche roll, which arrives like a work of art and tastes even better. The toro salmon sashimi... wow, it melts in your mouth. And if you like spicy food, order the Spicy Tuna, an explosion of flavor, but without burning your tongue. Please! I think I stared at the plate like an idiot before attacking it. If you're in Cutler Bay, go. You won't regret it. I'm already planning my next visit. I love Sushi Sake 🍣✨
An excellent place! The service is fast and the rolls are the perfect size. I love the atmosphere with the music and lighting it makes you feel like you're in a very elegant place without even leaving Cutler Bay. I've been several times and consistency is key. The fish always tastes fresh, and the sushi chefs really know how to put on a good show. I definitely recommend the Bobby salad a spectacular way to start and wow, I was very surprised by the La Jefa roll and the Divorce roll; they are incredibly delicious! Thanks to Neysi for being so helpful; you have a great team. I love this place and I recommend it, they are on fire, super delicious!🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
I had a really good experience at Sushi Sake in Cutler Bay. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, and the rolls were flavorful and filling. The place was clean and had a nice, relaxed atmosphere, making it a good spot to eat with friends or family. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was smooth overall. I’d definitely come back again.
Delicious! Jenny served us in the afternoon! The atmosphere is amazing, the music 🎶 ✨ spectacular 👌 the sushi and sake food 🍣 ❤

"Sushi Sake in Cutler Bay, South Florida offers a spectacular dining experience. The service is impeccable, with Destiny as an outstanding host providing top-notch service. Every aspect of the experience is exceptional, making it a must-visit destination."
Excellent food, awesome environment, with live music.
Fresh food and excellent service including recommendation by my server, CJ
Just discovered this place and it is great. The menu is very varied (went with someone that does not like sushi and she has a lot to choose from). The food was fresh perfectly prepared and innovative. The presentation of the sushi was amazing. The servers were attentive and professional. I will make this a definitely make it a regular choice.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Everything was spectacular the pineapple friend rice was beautifully presented in a real pineapple. We also ordered from the secret menu and it was amazing and we loved everything. The service Hakeem was phenomenal and his recommendations were were very tasty. Will 100% come back 👍😁
Great service & delicious food
Was there with my gf on a tuesday night , service was great and the sushi amaazing, first time that i go to this location and its my favorite now. Thank you!
Super nice place I had a great time.
Awesome place to eat
Nice!!!
Great food and great service, everyone is so nice and on point. Destiny and Jenny were amazing and on point with the orders.I found my new sushi spot in the Cutler Bay Area, if you’re in the area or even just craving great food and experience. I highly recommend sushi sake Cutler Bay. Even have live music that they can play any song you want. All and all I will only eat at this sushi sake from now on.
Amazing restaurant.. Family run, excellent service and the food is amoung the best out of all the Miami Sushi restaurants. We come every weekend highly recommend.
Came in and was quickly seated. Hakeem helped my family pick amazing rolls and gave great suggestions on sides. Coming back soon, for sure.
I was in area & decided to stop by. The name was a throw-off for Sushi Maki, which I didn't realize its not the same after ordering my Tempura. However it was good, but I was looking for it to be fried. This is a new location, which I didn't know there were multiple locations throughout Miami. I love the setup they have inside a bar & sitting tables for dining. I will be back to try out the dine in side of restaurant.
I love Sushi Sake! Super excited to have one more South closer to home. Family owned & I love to support those. The cousin of one of the owners attended us & he was outstanding on my first visit back in September 2021. My most recent visit one of the owners helped me & she was amazing!! Down to earth family for sure. The customer service was good & the special roll was even better. The picture says it all. The wine (moscato) was delicious!!! I don't recall the other locations I've been to having it & I only drink sweet wine so I am very happy! They support local breweries & have beers rotating on tap. Another reason why I like to support family owned places that support their local community. The restaurant is clean, nice ambience, parking lot has plenty of parking (handicap spot right outside) and inside is ADA accessible which I can appreciate as a mom of a physically special abled warrior. Oh & they have specials almost daily! They also have am amazing violinst on Fridays & Saturdays I believe. I look forward to coming back very soon. Yum!!
Excellent place, great service from the staff. The place is cozy, feels super comfortable, and the guy playing a saxophone 🎷 while we were having dinner... very sweet
Hakeem is the best!!! The UM roll is the best!!! Great place and great service!
Great place the sushi is amazing the only think their prices are a little bit high but regardless great food !
Love this place! Food is delicious, atmosphere is always great and service is awesome! Get there early for their Happy Hour!
Very nice place super nice and clean if you are looking to eat sushi this is the place,,,,management and staff are super friendly something you don't see often now a days....Mario, thank you for your services.
Delicious food, outstanding service, and even better atmosphere. A definite must try restaurant. Live music on weekends and tasty food, you can’t ask for more. For drinks cold lychee saki is the way to go. Kids loooove the Ramune drink with so may different flavors. For sushi pinky roll is sweet and spicy the best of both worlds. Try this restaurant you won’t regret it!!!!! Pics of fried Oreo and fried donuts for dessert! 🤤😋 Servers Destinee and Hakeem are the dream team! 🙌They make you feel right at home! :)
We love it ❤️
Great sushi. Excellent service. Clean restaurant. Generous portions. Will def be back.
Great place to spend a dinner or a lunch at! The sushi rolls and hibachi steak options are delicious! We had the yummy roll, a salmon skin roll, the pork dumplings, and the hibachi steak and they were all well cooked and delicious! The god was so good we forgot to take a picture but we remembered with the fried Oreo dessert!
Been to a couple of Sushi Sake but this one is by far the nicest one. Food was fresh and tasted great. I ate one of there special rolls MOOMEE, added a picture below. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.
This is now the second time this week I come to this amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and I have to say the cleanliness and quality of the food is top notch. This is a diamond in the rough in the Cutler Bay Area. Super thrilled to have this sushi restaurant in my area. Definitely will recommend to all my family and friends!
From the warm, cheerful greetings to the flavorful food, this is an experience we will return for! There’s another location closer to home, but nothing beats feeling like you belong. We enjoyed our meal, the service, the vibe and the CONSISTENCY most of all.
Delicious and fresh food 😋 Great atmosphere 😀
Super good customer service and the food is delicious I recommend this place 100%
This place is wonderful! When you walk in, you were greeted by the sound of violin music and a gracious host. And we decided to try various plates and share them and they were all delicious flavorful well done and hot. Kudos to the kitchen, to Logan and his team members who were consistently, ensuring that our table was cleared, and water service was adequate. Logan was very patient and very elaborate in describing the menu items that we inquired about. We enjoyed the (pics added) Tuna Tartar, Salmon Hibachi, Eel roll and Salmon Crunch. Congratulations, Sushi Sake Cutler Bay!!! for an amazing location that I will definitely come back to end to whom we will make many referrals to very clean and nice ambiance. Thank you Logan!!! Great teamwork!!!!
Nice atmosphere, food was good
Great food. Great service. Got the pinkie specialty roll twice from how great it was.
our server was Destinee.Service was amazing. The ramen soup broth was very flavorful. love the fried rice is also a good choice when dining here
Overall the best Sushi Sake in Miami! Live music Friday and Saturdays!!! Love it! Destinee has such an positive attitude and always takes care of her customers! Great Atmosphere and the food always so fresh and delicious! My favorite is the Moomee Roll and the Boss Baby 100% recommended.
We love coming here. They treat you like family and always have the best service. The waiters try to make anything possible. The sushi is creative and delicious. There isn’t nothing that we haven’t liked. We love the atmosphere. Ask for fried oreos ;)
I had a great time Food was wonderful
Delicious
Great atmosphere and great service. Make sure to checkout their special menu.
Good customer service from Hakeen , very clean place, open until late , happy place to have a casual dinner
Hackeen gave us excellent service
Very cordial staff. Owners on hand supervising all activities and speaking with customers. Our waitress Angie was very good. We had the pineapple fried rice, leas chicken and a jefa roll. All very good. Relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.
Angelica is the best waitress ever and this place is great. Great donuts
Customer service is warm and friendly. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. To the person behind the counter making the sushi you are doing a great job! All the sushi I had so far are amazingly delicious. I would definitely recommend.
Hakeem took great care of my man and i , food was amazingggg
Awesome service! Servers were nice and quick. Sushi is delicious and awesome atmosphere.
Absolutely love this restaurant. Roly and Neisy the owners really know how to take care of their customers and restaurant. The special rolls menu is unbelievable. The servers are all special and treat everyone with such kindness. Only restaurant that has had the same servers since they opened. We love coming here and will continue. 😁
We love Sushi Sake Cutler bay. We come all the time. Food and service is amazing. Live Music on Friday’s is very entertaining. Hakeem, Angelica and the owner Neisy. What a great combo. 👏🏻🧡.
Sushi Sake Cutler Bay is the best. Incredible service, delicious food, and the specialty rolls are spectacular.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Angelica was awesome. Owners are great people. Will be back.
Great place and excellent food
Very good experience ,the staff is really nice and the food is very very good .
The food here is always amazing. Made at the moment and the servers are all so nice.
Great food, service is always fantastic. Been a regular here since opening and have never been disappointed. Chicken fried rice and steam gyoza always hit the spot!
I’ve been a regular for quite some time now and it’s always a great time. Fried rice during happy hour always hits the spot!
Go every week, and always greeted with great service and delicious food!
Food was fast and delicious!!! Great portions and service was amazing
Nothing is perfect but this was really close. Vegetarian orders
This sushi sake is super family oriented, you are going to be treated like family here. Service is amazing and food is even better. Make sure to try the Cutler Bay specials!
The interior atmosphere is great in this location. Also the food is always awesome. 👌
The service was above excellent our server Hackeem was the best experience ever. His detail to attention and the creative atmosphere. He was excellent!
My Husband did a job for the owner and that is how we found out about this Restaurant. As a Sushi lover, I was excited to try it out. I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the amazing feeling of the place, to the people who work their down to the incredible and best Sushi I have ever had...it was beyond fantastic!! We loved it so much we will be back next week. Food is so fresh and made with so much soul for sure. I am blown away at the quality. Its been a very long time since I have been able to leave a good review for a Restaurant and this one is one you don't want to miss out on. A definite must go!!!
Fresh and amazing! Good eats!
I love sushi saki but I called in for my order and water over an hour and it was day time around 5 pm then I was waiting in my car for them to bring me my food as told and I had to walk back in and the receptionist went back to kitchen to see if it was ready where it was sitting there to top it off they charge 1$ for eel or soy sauce or spicey mayo I was told by a worker there when I added a spicey mayo and soy sauce I had to pay for all. When I get my order and check my receipt I was over charged this was on us1 befor 184 in the shopping center.
Excellent
Loved this location. Service was great!
Thank you, Jessica, for your recommendations and exceptional service! We will definitely be back.
Best sushi ever !!! Jessica was very attentive and professional!! Thanks
Very nice place with a very pleasant atmosphere and the girl who served us, Jessica, was super attentive. Everything she recommended to us was excellent.
Out of all the Sushi Sake’s this one by far has the friendliest staff, cleanest environment and freshest food I’ve ever experienced
Love it here Ive been coming here for 2 years now and have never dissapointed.
great service very professional and just great experience overall
delicious great service our server Jair took very good care of me and my family. Will definitely be coming back
Thank you to Neisy for going above and beyond and making sure our order was delivered correctly and freshly made.
Great food and amazing staff
The Service was excellent and I realized everyone is servsafe certified. Posted on the wall by the entrance. Which made my experience more comforting because I know that everyone is trying their best to provide great service. Food was great. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice.
There food is always consistent. I personally enjoy the dragon roll.
Sushi Sake is a go-to for their lunch specials, especially the hibachi scallops. The scallops are tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right with that perfect seared flavor. The portion is satisfying for lunch, and it comes out fresh and hot every time. Quick service, good value, and a solid choice when you want something filling but still high quality. Definitely worth it just for this dish alone.
I’ve ordered their food to go and I’ve also sat inside the restaurant, and each time the food is freshly made to order and always really good. There’s so many sushi options available. My family loved the noodles and fried rice with steak as well. I love the quality of the food and it’s one my go to restaurants for sushi now.
I've eaten here a few times, but just noticed that I was charged a $2 for hot sauce (Sriracha). I asked the waitress for hot sauce, and she said do you want Sriracha or Kimchee sauce? I told her I didn't know what kimchee sauce (hot sauce) was, so she told me she'd bring me both. To my surprise, when I got my bill I was charge for "hot sauce", which I wasn't informed. *See Receipt*. Overall, the food is pretty tasty and the service is great. However, I won't be returning because I don't like the idea of paying for condiments ($2 hot ). FYI, there is an automatic 20% gratuity added to your bill, regardless of the number in your party, but they do have great service.
Good service, good food..!!
A good first-time experience at Sushi and Saki. We ordered gyozas and egg tempura for our appetizers. Both were good. Main dish: shrimp tempura hand roll and yummy roll. A good first-time experience at Sushi and Saki. We ordered our appetizers: gyozas and vegetable tempura. Both were good. Main dish: shrimp tempura hand roll and delicious roll.
I ordered a side of eel sauce under my roll, (I paid for it) but when I go to pick it up they proceed to tell me since I ordered it UNDER my roll, they added it inside of it. So next time I ordered I MADE SURE that I order eel sauce under the “extras” tab AND separately. They again still made an issue out it when picking it up, stating “we added it in the roll”. Which roll? I ordered more then one. Wish the service was better, don’t know how else to order this.
Food and service great! Disappointed with the 20% gratuity included in bill for two without option to adjust accordingly, but there’s an option to give more gratuity. I give generous tips, but I don’t appreciate the establishment dictating how I reward good service versus bad service.
The portions are half the size. Flavor is great but they didn’t add the paid add ons. The chicken was half the amount and almost no vegetables. Even the rice was half the amount.
For delivery, I paid for extra Spicy Mayo and Eel Sauces and those were not packed. Container with Soy sauce spilled all over Miami Heat Roll. Avocado on Rainbow Roll looks extremely old and soggy, not fresh at all. Look at pictures for proof. This spot was amazing so don’t know what happened today.
We ordered the special roll JENNY FROM THE BLOCK which was great taste wise BUT it completely fell apart while we tried to eat it. We told the server in which he did nothing about and we just ate it. Our server was Richard B. He never brought the soup that came with the lunch special and my food came out before my husbands. Then when the check came there was automatic 20% gratuity. It also took over 10 minutes for him to greet us when we sat down. We have come here frequently but today was just a horrible experience.
Good food but terrible service 🙁
I didn't like the sushi at this place at all. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the rice was better, but I honestly don't recommend it. Besides, the prices are very expensive.
Visited lunch. Lunch special are between $14 to $18. Oredered 2 Chicken Teriyaki and 1 Chicken noodle. No drinks just water. Party of 3. Automatic 20% charge for tip. This place is overpriced, the food taste is average and the service is not worth 20%.
I had did a Uber picked. The picked up time was 45-55mins. When I picked the order the service was excellent. When I got home and pulled out the order that is where my family and I were disappointed. The portion were smaller than we expected and for the price added even more disappointment. I have sushi from other locations and the money spent was equal to the size served. My family and felt like we needed at least two rolls to satisfied.
The food wasn't bad, but their staff is full of kids. They are all flirting with each other and half pay attention to the customers. Our server disappeared so we had to ask another to assist which only made things more confused. Prices are crazy and 20% is added to every bill by default. My wife and I will not be coming back.
Order on line and an hour and 10 min. and still waiting on my food
The sashimi is extremely thick. When I went there were 2 employees making out by the bar. Also the mexican music coming from the kitchen was loud. Customer service is not great. Also they include the tip every time without letting you know. Then bring the machine to charge you and add extra tip. Will not be going back. I hope the owner make changes.
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the treatment my party and I received at Sushi Sake – Cutler Bay. During our recent visit, we were treated in a manner that was both unprofessional and disrespectful by the manager, who was also acting as the host. From the moment we arrived, the tone and attitude directed toward us were inappropriate and lacked basic customer service standards. The situation escalated to the point where we were asked to leave the restaurant and were told not to return. Being asked to leave an establishment without justifiable cause is extremely embarrassing and unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. As paying customers, we expected to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. This experience was shameful and deeply disappointing. I strongly urge upper management or corporate leadership to review this matter seriously, as no customer should ever be made to feel humiliated or unwelcome in your establishment. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to ensure that future guests do not experience similar treatment.
I was about to order from this restaurant again but I decided to look at the reviews. I was surprised but not shocked to read all the negative reviews. I had dismissed my experience as someone having a bad day, but after I read the review left by a previous delivery driver, I felt compelled to share my story. First let me say that I live in the area and I have ordered take out a couple times from this restaurant, through UberEats. Overall, the food has been acceptable. However, I have dined at several Sushi Sake's in Miami and the Cutler Bay location food quality is not the greatest. As a side hustle, I deliver food through an app delivery service. I've been doing this for over a year and overall the experience with other merchants has been a positive one. Most merchants have a designated area where you pick up deliveries and/or sometimes they place the delivery on a table or a shelf for the driver to pick up. Usually, in these type of situations I look at the receipt on the bag and if I identify that the delivery is mine, I will ask an employee if it's ok to take the delivery, and I will show them the app where it states the customers name. Most merchants do this to help move things along, specially during busy times. I accepted a delivery from Sushi Sake, Cutler Bay. I arrived, entered the restaurant and instantly realized it was a busy night. There were a lot of drivers waiting for orders. Right when I walked in, there was a bag sitting on a table, right by the entrance. The bag had the receipt facing away from me, so I gently turned the bag around, I didn't even pick it up from the table, to look at the receipt to see if it belong to my customer. That's when a restaurant employee who was working as a hostess and waitress came towards me screaming , "Do not touch my bags, that doesn't belong to you" I was in shock at how aggressive and angry she looked, so I just looked at her without saying anything. That's when she screamed again, but this time in Spanish. This time I responded in English "I understand what you're saying, I'm picking up a delivery and I'm just checking if that is my customer" Her response, with a visibly aggressive face and screaming, "I don't care, don't touch my bags", I responded to her "You are being extremely rude", her response "I don't care, cancel the delivery, if you want". I of course was not going to cancel the delivery, because that would delay the customers order and I had never cancelled a delivery that I was in the middle of working. She then went straight to the computer and gave me a negative review on the delivery app. If you look at a previous review on here, from another delivery driver, it seems this is not an isolated incident. This aggressive behavior is a pattern at this restaurant. All you have to do is analyze the restaurants response to the review. In the response it states "the bathroom is only for paying customers". The delivery driver who is assigned to deliver your food, to your customer, is at that moment an extension of the restaurants transaction. The driver is working with the restaurant to make sure the order gets to the customer on time and as expected. To tell a driver that they can't use your bathroom is telling them, that you believe, they are beneath you. Additionally, it shows that you don't see them as part of a team effort, that is working towards providing the best customer service to your customers. This is appalling for a business whose main goal should be striving for perfect customer service. We are all out there trying to survive, in a very difficult economy. Some of us working two or three jobs to support our families. For a restaurant to treat delivery drivers like trash is unacceptable, not only to the driver but to your customers who are depending on the driver, who is handling your food and hoping for a quick and smooth transaction. I won't ever again set foot in this establishment, neither as a delivery driver or paying customer, but it's obvious they don't care. You, as a customer, shouldn't either.
What a terrible experience. This restaurant is the worst sushi place in Cutler Bay. Neisy, the hostess/server was visibly annoyed and upset. She was treating the staff poorly and provided terrible service. After we left I looked up this place and I found out they were forced shut last year due to several violations. The report can be found in Local 10’s dirty dining website. It’s a shame that this restaurant’s management doesn’t care about customer service. This is obviously isolated to this Sushi Sake because I’ve been to others in Miami and they have been excellent.
Ordered a volcano roll fried it was burnt. I will go from now on back to my old sushi sake place
Kitchen burned the steak in our pineapple fried rice. We were offered $4 off for our inconvenience. Management should train staff on proper procedures and compensation when the kitchen doesn’t deliver.
The food is Mediocre and the service is bad. They don't treat people of color nicely
Be prepared for a two hour wait for two simple rolls at this location. Also you’ll see people who came after u getting served before you because there’s no organization. 😔
Good food, good service, but what I don't like is that the tip is included in the bill and is 20%. Also, since it's already included, they charge you taxes on the tip. And the worst part is that when you pay, they don't tell you and ask for more.
my rolls had hardly any salmon or crab in them
This is my third time here and VERY DISAPPOINTED! I’m from out of town and we came here last year and a couple times before that and it was good which is why we came back. We ordered 5 sushi rolls and they’re the smallest rolls I’ve ever seen and some rolls had nothing in them. All the rolls tasted the same, we ordered a spider roll which should have soft shell crab and there was no crab only shrimp shell. Soooo disappointed we left feeling hungry after spending well over $100. I could have made much better rolls myself, my only conclusion is that they do NOT have a sushi chef or anyone who remotely knows how to make sushi! On the other hand, the spicy edamame was good. At the end we had to order another one because as all of us, my 10 year old son was still hungry and he really does not eat that much. Again, very disappointing . 😞
The second time I ordered online here , always the food has no any taste, look like quemada, and the service was terrible.
I ordered a tempura jb and got a completely burnt and hard as a rock inedible food, this after waiting over an hour for pickup, then they tell me its doordash problem not theirs
Worst experience and customer service WHILE the owner was there. I barely got a greeting at the door and when I did it was very poorly, I was waiting to take my to go order for over 10 minutes and sat there while the workers surrounded the bar to talk amongst themselves including the owner! I’m sorry, but am I invisible? I watched as other customers came in AFTER me and were greeted and serviced immediately. They stood there and watched me but never attended me. So when a server finally came to take my order, which made me feel like it was a burden, I waited over 30 minutes for them to get the order wrong and one small ramekin of yum yum sauce when I had 5 items. I ended up paying $5.37 for an extra four small ramekins. I asked for my order to be corrected, and another worker walks outside to where now the owner is located. Everyone’s face and demeanor made me uncomfortable as I already felt no one wanted to service me in the first place. Since obviously it was such a burden to get what I actually wanted and paid for I decided to leave and thought that was the best choice. Besides, I don’t have another 30 minutes to wait. I called back the restaurant to ask for cooperates number and I got attitude over the phone instead of the number I asked for. I was instead asked for my order number which shouldn’t matter as I called for cooperates number and the worker, who’s apparently the manager and told me she has no name, hung up on me 3 times. The last time I called, the owner answers and has the audacity to tell me I should’ve been more patient so he could’ve given me my money back. No one was asking for their money back, once again I was asking for cooperates number, which I still haven’t received. I asked for the name of the “manager” who answered the phone the first 3 times and hung up on me, and the owner says he doesn’t have managers but instead shift leaders. I then ask for the shift leaders name, the owner then tells me he doesn’t have shift leaders. I proceed to ask the owner for cooperates number and he says and I quote “I don’t know why you need the number, they aren’t going to do anything” and gives me the number moments after which happens to be the sushi sake in Doral. All across the board, the experience was appalling. I will not be back and I recommend you drive the extra mile to the next location. Terrible experience. I have worked in many restaurants in the span of 9 years and not even on my worse day treat my customers the way I was treated today.
Unfortunately they are not customer friendly. I came for the lunch special. Asked for it to go. This triggered a 2x price increase over lunch special they do not disclose is dine in only. I would have ordered dine in and taken it. They didnt care. Nailed me almost $70 for what was $35 for lunch. Truly Unfortunate. I tool pics of lunch price vs what they charged me.
I just arrived at Sushi Sake to place my order. I drove all the way there because it says they close at 10 PM. We arrived at 9:29 PM. The guy says they're closed, even though the website says 10 PM. Disappointing and unethical. I usually eat at this location regularly — not anymore. What a lack of respect.
Ordered a chicken teriyaki for my husband and this is how it came. The chicken portions were tiny and he was starving after. I called the restaurant and sent them a picture and was advised this is the norm.
Look at the spring rolls…and this cost me 9$ and they didn’t even take the time to steam the dumplings. Super disappointing and I waited patiently.
THE PLACE THAT TAKES THE LONGEST IN ALL OF MIAMI, WHETHER IT IS FOR PICK-UP OR EATING IN. THE RESTAURANT TAKES A HORRIBLE DELAY. THERE IS NO GOOD SERVICE OR A MANAGER WHO CONTROLS. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE DAY THAT I WOULD GO TO THAT RESTAURANT THAT THEY DO NOT TAKE A LONG TIME.
I've eaten at Sushi Sake on 152 and the one in Parklan, and their food is excellent and exquisite. But here at the one in Cutler Bay, it's worse than eating at a Chinese fast food restaurant. I ordered shrimp rice, which only had two shrimp cut into pieces, and the medium yaki steak was tough and stiff. $42 was the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. When I called and complained, they told me they would come back and reorder it, but I said no. I'm not one to return food because you never know what the cooks will do when you complain about their terrible food.
It’s always a 45 min wait for your food no matter what the girl on the phone says. The place isn’t even full they had maybe 3 tables . I find that ridiculous specially if you’re ordering take out and they tell you 20 min.
I ordered my dresser to go by phone, and after waiting an hour, they told me they hadn't received my order, but they did remember I'd called. The worst part was they told me if I wanted it, I'd have to wait another 15 minutes, but they didn't even bother to say they were sorry, that they hadn't received my order, nothing like that. It was awful.
They take too long, to go to that restaurant you really have to have the time in the world.
The place where bad service meets good food. It's a shame they have such poor customer service.
Terrible manager service to the table. Forceful 20% gratuity, not recommended at all. Eat at another place, night manager should be fired.
I ordered food tonight and got it delivered maybe 10 minutes ago and when I open my hibachi chicken and chicken fried rice, I find small pieces of hair on my food. It’s absolutely disgusting this is very disappointing. I will never order from this sushi sake again! You should check your food next time you eat from this place
For the price I feel the amount of food could be a bit better, and I highly dislike the fact they charge a “mandatory” 20% tip and you will not be aware of this until they bring your check. How is that fair? Tips are not mandatory, period. Restaurants need to pay their workers a livable wage and stop depending on customer to pay their employees wages.
You will get the poorest service ever. They don’t care about it at all because anyways they will charge you tip for 20% of your bill. The food is overpriced… don’t order Miso soup is water literally. 50 minutes waiting for the food. We are not coming back here again.
So I ordered food for delivery which took forever. I'd be ok with it as long as the food was good but it wasn't. I ordered hibachi steak at 33.00 $ the serving size seem for the kids menu. The rice tasted old. Very disappointing. The sushi was also pricy and it was sub-par at best. My total bill was 97 dollars. 2/5 taste not ordering from here again. Please work on it or you will keep losing customers.
Have no interest to revisit this place. The owner is oblivious to the requirements of running an dining establishment, and actually making it work. totally unprofessional staff chatting with each other and talking loud directly with the sushi chefs, showing picture on their phones using bad language........45 minutes waiting for a simple California roll. It does has the potential of being a busy fun place to go, but not with this owner.
I'm going to keep this review honest and to the point. I went yesterday to pick up my wife and step sons order. The estimated time was stated as 35 minutes. I got there within 30 minutes, they told me 15 more minutes. It took 30 more minutes. So an hour total. I asked to pay with two cards, one card was charged. I wasn't being listened to. I drive back from that location all the way to homestead and open the bag, the avocado was not fresh on my dragon rolls, all of the sushi was thinly sized, the rice on the sushi & the steak fried rice I ordered was hard and crunchy. My wife is furious and calls the location to speak with a manager. The manager while on speaker with my wife next to me says "you should call the store before to make sure the food is fresh" my wife explains the food quality, the issues, asks for a refund. The manager than says "to get a refund I need you to drive back, bring the food in person or its not happening" she basically told my wife to come bring the food as proof, as if we're going to drive away and call back complaining like this 20 minutes later! My wife ended the call there and I will be contacting my bank over the charge. This was ignorance and poor customer service at its best. Whoever this woman is managing this location you need to listen to your customers. You don't know what kind of days we've had, and you certainly don't talk down to us when we call with an issue. You help us work it out. My wife was disrespected and my money was taken for terrible food and service. I'm Done with this location.
Management needs to do something about their kitchen staff. Waited over an hour and a half for a pick up order that was just one roll, fried rice and thai donuts. After complaining to one of the staff he went to the back and brought it right out. Thai donuts were cold and seemed as if the food has just been sitting there after asking if the order was ready numerous times. Every time I come to this location it seems to be a different issue!!
