I've been a loyal customer of Beck's since they opened. The food is great and the customer service is excellent! Tonight, one of the servers, Roy, delivered our food and shared his Christmas spirit with us. His joyful nature was such a treat! Thank you Roy for making our night! Merry Christmas!
Unfortunately I was one of those customers coming right before closing… pregnancy craving. I was craving their good ol’ bills burger and fries. We got nothing but positive vibes/attitude being there. They made conversations with jokes and everything while we waited. CAN NEVER GO WRONG GOING TO BECKS! Best burgers here and that I’ve had!
These burgers are amazing! Packed with flavor, real grilled fresh ground beef... smokey flavor. I am very impressed and would say that this is one of the best burger places in Dallas. The prices are a bit high, but you are paying for the quality. It is very good and the place is very clean and classy. I'm definitely going to keep coming.
Burgers were delicious and a hit with the whole family (including our 4 year old). The atmosphere was cool and the staff was wonderful. They patiently went over the menu with us and they have a great selection of burgers, baked potatoes, no bread options, drinks and frozen margaritas! The burgers are mad on smoked apple wood, so if smokey is not your thing, the taste is definitely there. Oh, the sweet potato fries were also delicious and tasted freshly made. Worth the hour drive for us.
The food is magnificent and we love the convenience of the drive-through. Today the manager Paul B. restored my faith in customer service as it should be. When we got home, which is about a 15 minute drive, we realized that we are missing a ribeye steak in our order. When we called the manager answered and said he was expecting my call and insisted on delivering the steak to our house! Not only that he gave us a gift card when he arrived. It was an honest mistake but he was so apologetic and eager to fix it. That is great customer service!
Great service, fresh food. Roy is nice!
Beck’s Prime was recommended while on a work trip, and you can’t find burgers like this where I’m from! Delicious and juicy! The staff was extremely kind and attentive.
Tried becks for the first time today. The drive through was quick and customer service was so friendly ! My order was perfect and my ahi tuna salad was delicious. The salad was a really good portion for the price and cooked just right. My burger was awesome also. Will come back again !! 👌👌
Always excellent. Though a counter service establishment, the food is delivered and the staff is generally attentive to refills for drinks. Don't mistake it as a burger place alone! The ribeye as well as the grilled chicken are marvelous and the grilled vegetables that go with them among the best anywhere. Finally, mention of the french fries is deserved: Awesome if you like them crisp, fresh and brown!
1st time here and food was amazing, service was really well. I will say the burger was cooked to perfection. And they are huge!! I think next time i will do a hot dog to try out. But overall the experience was amazing
Always wonderful! Their salads are amazingamc even their burgers are top notch. I'm having to eat special now and they are accommodating and the food is still yummy.
From the Sloan club’s relish burger to a kimchi burger in Seoul, and a mushy tomato burger in Manhattan, the Sunday Night burger at The Grape on Greenville, and a soulful egg and cheese burger on a baguette in Plaquemines Parish after a hurricane in a trailer.. I’ve tried many styles. Beck’s Prime is a charbroiled burger, like my grandfather’s joint “Serf’s” in early 1960s Dallas. It’s what Burger King dreams of being. The class of this place isn’t congruous with their totally reasonable prices. It’s like Hillstone or Houston’s. Rangers playing on tv, but not blaring the audio as in a bad sports bar. You can have a good long dinner with friends here, and they have a decent porch. Beck’s deserves more customers. Get it while it’s hot, but nearly a local secret.
I heard of Becks Prime, and decided to stop by. It was an awesome experience, and we owe that to the cooks and cashier, Sondra. She gave us great recommendations, she had patience and a kind demeanor. It was genuine and she executed by far her training in customer service. We shall return, the burger was amazing. I may consider catering for my company's next expo.
Loveeeee their Chicken Sandwiches, and sweet potato fries always hit. We recently went, and the customer service was top notch. Sat on the patio, and they even checked on us again out there. Love coming by when I’m in the area, Thank U!
Absolutely wonderful restaurant with competent staff, excellent food that's consistent, and a landmark of its intersection
It is a very chill place to get high-quality American fare. I'm usually to get either a burger or a steak. Whichever I get, it will be well seasoned, and have the added flavor of a grill char. This is hands down my go-to for beef. Check it out.
Great food and service. Christian is a great employee at the Forest Ln location - very friendly and accommodating. The Bill's Burger, sweet potato fries, and cookies n' cream shake are personal favorites! Ambiance is ok, best with friends and if you like sports but it could be cozier.
Every single thing I’ve ever tried here is a 10/10. Phenomenal staff too. Couldn’t recommend more!! Ribeye stuffed baked potato is incredible. So is the butterfinger shake, Caesar salad, sweet potato fries, etc. You can’t go wrong with the menu here!
The best restaurant 😋 that we found off of Google had never been there before, everything is made fresh daily and you could tell the difference in the food, staff was great, and their recommendations for first-timers were great!! It was a little pricey and I would suggest they make combo meals everything is a la carte.
House smells great. Food tastes great. Customer service on point too!
I ordered their food from Door Dash, and it was still REALLY good; even after taking 10 or so minutes to get to me. The bacon cheese burger and fries I got where we'll worth the money. I will say their food is more on the pricy side. Maybe not the place to go if you're on a budget I didn't get the chance to dine in, but it will definitely be a stop on my next trip to the area.
I smell smoke. Not the alarming, something's on fire, dangerous smoke. The something has been cooking for the past 8 hours smoke. On a day like today there's only one reason for that: Beck's Prime. I'm greeted by decor that's after my own heart: a wooden theme interior reminiscent of my old bachelor pad. Many shades of red, black, and brown. I order the Bubba Burger and a Butterfinger shake. I take my shake to the table and it doesn't even come up the straw. Perfect. This is a real shake. I begin to tale notes and my burger comes out of the kitchen. That's incredibly fast for the quality I'm expecting. I can already smell the smoke from my sandwich. I spent some time working at a barbecue pit when I was younger. The smell was the same. It's mesquite. One bite and I'm reminded of long summers working with good friends. I'm also reminded of the fact that it's been a while since I've had a burger that's been near trees. The egg bun stands against the tides of beef tallow that escape my patty. The patty is perfectly grilled. The BP sauce pulls the onions and tomatoes together with the patty to make a sublime flavor combination. At 16 dollars for just the sandwich and shake, I would make some room in your wallet before dropping by but this stop would absolutely be worth it. A good place to fill up, especially if you're in a hurry. 5/5 in and out of class. Been wanting to go here for a long time. Finally tried Beck's on Saturday. The burgers were absolutely wonderful. The fries also awesome. The only issue I had was the cheese was not melted. It was just laid on top of the burger. We asked for medium rare and we got it. This is really good food and it is expensive. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 cokes, and 1 order of fries was $43, But really everybody is expensive nowadays. And, this is not fast food. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had.
The food 10 The server/cashier/ 10 I believe his name was Paul and he was super nice 10 Food was so good I forgot to take a pic
It was great! Glad my buddy recommended it for lunch. Admittedly didn’t realize the ribeye was actually a ribeye steak in between bread 😂 Fries were great too. A touch on the high $ side but definitely tasty 😀 Gotta try the burger next time.
Visiting Becks Prime on Preston Rd in Dallas with the family was an exceptional experience, reminiscent of the cherished moments I spent at the Becks on Augusta in Houston. We decided to indulge in the B.P Burger, and it was a decision well made. The burger arrived fresh, with the smoky flavor from the wood fire grilling process enhancing every bite – a true testament to their culinary excellence. What always impresses me, apart from the delicious food and attentive service, is seeing the anniversary wall showcasing employees who have been part of the Becks Prime family for a decade or longer. This speaks volumes about the establishment’s values and the positive work environment they maintain. It’s heartwarming to see a business celebrate and honor its long-standing employees, adding a layer of trust and respect for the brand in my eyes. The staff’s effort to ensure our drinks were continuously refilled without needing to ask showed their dedication to customer service, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. This visit to the Dallas location brought back a flood of fond memories from my time in Houston, turning our meal into a nostalgic journey. I highly recommend Becks Prime to anyone looking for not just a meal, but an experience enriched with care, attention to detail, and a clear commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Their long-standing employees and the memorable anniversary wall are testaments to their lasting legacy in the community.
I've never dined in but I have used the drive-thru a hand full of times. The food is always good and fresh! I recently misheard the window attendant give me my total. When I called back to make sure I was charged correctly, Paul was extremely accommodating and kind. Customer service here is A1! I will most definitely be back. Thank you guys!
This place has the most flavorful, freshly made hamburgers in DFW. One thing you must know is that their large fries are family sized fries and can be shared among 4 or more. Everything was delicious, including their homemade lemonade. 🍋
I had a baked potato - best ever - they must have used a very fresh potato and very fresh chives -- possibly convection oven as potato was very crisp with unusual uniformity -a little crispy inside too. Plate was hot which was unusual. It just have been in the oven with the potato on top. Chives were chopped - not dried from a jar.
4 1/2 Stars. I like this place. A little pricey perhaps, but if you're into really good burgers and fries, with various seasoning options, you will enjoy their food. Also, I'd mention that staff is personable and friendly. Indoor and outdoor accommodations available.
Peaceful, elegant yet casual, perfect combination in between, the guy taking our order was super attentive and helpful, we said is our first time and he had no problem walking us through the menu, extensive menu, simple explanation and great customer service, the place is excellence. The salad was super fresh and the burger bigger then my eyes...great place to have a good conversation and relax, while enjoying a great burger.
Great food and good customer service. David the manager did an amazing job making us feel comfortable and informing us about the quality of the food.
My daughter gave me a gift card to Becks Prime. I finally had the chance to go, and I took a work buddy with me. It was our first time eating here. The ordering was very easy. Our food arrived at the table and was cooked and prepped to order. My burger was very good as so were the fries. It's amazing how delicious they are being cooked over Mesquite wood. We are now hooked! Highly recommend Becks Prime. They just need to build a few in Fort Worth.
Came today with my friend for the first time. Nancy was so AWESOME! She knew what my friend orders regularly and even looked it to confirm the order:
The staff was awesome! They’re all so friendly, love the products on the menu and you can tell they enjoy where they work. And they’re right about loving the food here because the burgers were so good!! I’m normally a thin patty person but you could just tell these were made with love. Lots of flavor, quality and big portions!
Stopped by for lunch and man was it delicious! I got the Ahi Tuna sandwich seared to perfection and the Parmesan Truffle Fries. The cucumber slices and purple onion complimented the tuna very well. The tuna tasted fresh and good quality. The fries were hot and crispy & covered in truffle flavoring. Will be back many more time to try the other sandwiches. Looks like they also have a very good selection of dinner options of steaks, salads and entree meals.
This was our first time eating here and OMG! This food is delicious!!! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went over the entire menu with us, and explained it all. Will definitely add this to our routine meal stops!!
Originally from Houston and saw they had a Becks in Dallas. Always great service and great food, never disappoints. David is very kind and cares for his customers.
My husband and I absolutely love this place - it’s definitely our “go to” since we know it will be good. The quality is great, food ALWAYS taste amazing and the customer service is so friendly. They can be on the pricier side but I think it’s worth it for their quality food!
First time here - will certainly be back. Really good food & a lot of it. Variety of choices. Very attentive service. Manager / owner (?) was very helpful in navigating the menu & even brought over a sample peach milkshake as we finished dinner.
David is a rockstar! He is fun and will always to do the best for his customers. Amazing place, wonderful atmosphere and the best food. Highly recommend!
The burgers here are better than the burgers at many high end steakhouses. You can also get a steak dinner to go that rivals some of these same steakhouses. I don’t know how they do it, but this place is top notch. For the best experience taste wise eat there. The ambiance is absent, but if you brought your own table cloth and mood music you could easily confuse the food for Morton’s, Mastros, or Ruth’s Chris level.
Becks Prime is absolutely delicious! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a must. I was in town for work and happened to stumble upon this place, and I’m so glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. The staff member who helped me was incredibly friendly and welcoming — I just wish I could remember her name so I could give her the recognition she deserves! I was visiting from Michigan, and I can confidently say I’ll be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!
Becks is an interesting place. I come here for the burgers but they also have steaks and even fajitas. I believe the theme is high quality meat. I got the hickory cheeseburger which has the most delightful BBQ sauce along with cheese on a medium rare Angus burger. I love the simplicity of the sandwich. Side of fries that are similar to In and Out burger. Friendly staff and very clean.
I'm not sure how well known this place is but my goodness the food is wonderful! Seriously in the top 5 of my favorite burger joints. You can't go wrong here!
Counter service, expensive food but the quality is outstanding. Try the chocolate shake, if you’ve already gone all in with a giant juicy burger, you might as well. Love this place!
The food at Beck’s is delicious, and all the staff at Beck’s is top notch. They really care about their customers. David will take good care of you.
I randomly stumbled across this restaurant when I was looking for a place to have dinner. I'm glad I found it! This was my first time to Becks Prime. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the loaded baked potato was amazing! I also had the fries with chili and cheese and a delicious cookies and cream milkshake. I'll absolutely come back next time I am in town.
We always make it a point to stop by Becks Prime whenever we’re in Houston, so we decided to give the Dallas location a try during a recent visit — and it did not disappoint! The staff here are extremely polite and genuinely friendly. The manager on duty even brought out our food personally, thanked us for coming in, and made us feel truly welcome. While the prices are on the higher side, you can absolutely taste the quality in their ingredients. The fries were fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned, and their burgers remain one-of-a-kind — nobody else makes them quite like Becks Prime. We also noticed that this location seems to have a strong base of regulars, which is always a great sign. The restaurant was very clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth stopping in when you’re craving a high-quality burger in Dallas!
Fabulous fries and absolutely fantastic burgers. But that is not all. Also tuna burgers or plates, many bun-less burgers, real steaks, baked potatoes stuffed or not, variety of sides and great salads. Serves wine and beer. Order at the counter and they bring food to your table. Restaurant is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. But most of all food is really delicious.
I cannot recommend Becks Prime enough! From the quality and taste of their food to the portion sizes and customer service, they truly stand out from every other burger spot I’ve been to in the northern DFW area. I visit this location frequently and have never had a bad experience. Even when they messed up my order on my last visit, the manager gave me a gift card to cover my entire meal because it did not meet their high standard of service—talk about customer care! Roy was also a standout employee: extremely personable, offering great menu recommendations, and providing very prompt service. Becks Prime is and will always be my go-to spot for a high-quality, authentic burger and fries. Go try them out if you haven’t already.
Roy is real good with customer service. He had the kitchen make the grilled chicken sandwich, with everything on the side, so it would not be soggy when my Senior, I took care of, ate it. I make her 1/2 at a time. With it separated from the condiments, it was just as fresh as the 1st 1/2, with no soggy bun. I reheated it perfectly and she loved it. Thank You Roy, and all of the Becks Prime Crew. 👍
We do the drive thru! Love their salads w Ahi Tuna or chicken. The entire family loves the SWEET POTATO FRIES. My son loves the CA sandwich, and a burger here and there.
First time trying this place. Showed up Friday afternoon around 3pm. Parking lot is connected to a bank and 7 Eleven. Lots of ways to access. Met the staff who were instantly friendly and happy to explain their menu and the process. They provided recommendations and explanation of the menu items and the portions. We are a party of 3 so we ordered the BLT, Bill's Burger and the Regular burger. No charges to how they were made other than cook temp and one preference for no onions. Ordered the sweet potato fries and truffle fries to share. Bills burger is the top rated burger in atexas monthly. Staff took our order and brought out the food about ten minutes later. Not a long wait. The burgers are good size patty. Manager and team told us the burgers are cooked over a wood fire. It shows. The grease was non-existent. The flavor was great! The seasoning and sauce were on point. The BLT came with 12 slices of bacon and it was a good tasty bite every time. Once I started my burger I couldn't stop eating. The fries they served with house sauce, ranch, ketchup, honey mustard on the side to trycause we were not certain what was best. All the sauces worked with the fries. No leftovers. The staff asked how we liked the food. Nothing but great flavor in everything and the portions were just as amazing. I forgot to take a picture but I would go back to take one next time. If younwant a great burger or something else on their menu go their. I'd recommend. I am going back to try something else on their menu.
First time here and not what I expected but turned out okay. Bottom line: High-end fast food joint. I saw the Name, "Beck's Prime" and saw something about a steak special and was thinking it was a traditional restaurant with full service. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw I had to stand in line and order from the counter like a McDonald's. The menu has a good selection of burgers and chicken breast sandwiches with a selection of Prime dinners (STEAKS). After getting my bearings, I ended up ordering a mushroom burger and a sugar-free lemonade . Realizing after the fact that it did not come with fries, I made a comment about a $15 hamburger without fries. The drink was $5. So $20+Tax for a burger and a drink, after standing in line and ordering from a counter. I was a little miffed and said it out loud. When my meal came, it was delivered by a "manager type" who asked me if this was my first time in. He explained that all the burgers are made fresh everyday as well as the fries are cut in-house daily! He had overheard my comment and added fries to my burger so I could try them for free. That impressed me and I appreciate the gesture! The burger was perfect and the bun... super fresh! The fries were also very good, but the sugar-free lemonade was superb! It does help knowing everything is made fresh daily, but it is simply a really nice fastfood joint (located appropriately at Preston and Forest). Will I come back if I'm in the area? Yes.
We decided to come here for lunch and saw the great reviews! We live in Allen area and were out this way. We got 2 burgers, a large fry, one large Coke and a water and spent $38. It was a bit pricy. This burger is absolutely the best burger we ever had!! I would definitely pay high dollar for this burger! Hands down the BEST. The burgers are big, juicy and very flavorful. We will definitely be back. We don’t care about the 20 minute drive!!! It has healthy options too, which i like! 5 ⭐️!!!!
5🌟’s 1 of the best burgers you will ever have! My husband & I have been here a handful of times, I meant to give a review after our first visit, Paul & the whole crew are Awesome! The restaurant is always nice and clean, we have always had a nice dining experience here. If you have not tried this place then go asap!!! I have only had the delicious burgers & truffle fries here, but will go back soon to order a steak! 😋 I ordered the mushrooms burger with Parmesan Truffle fries & my husband ordered the bake potato topped with steak, the burger is huge, I can not ever finish it on my own so my husband always helps with the rest! 😆 Try this place at-least once, but you most likely will go back again, they give great service here so please tip them well, plus what ever you give to others always returns back to you! 🥰 💖🙌
Roy and the rest of the Brecks service staff were pleasant and professional. The food came out fresh and hot and as ordered. The Dallas location where we ate had a nice standard restaurant setting. We ordered a 14 oz New York Strip Steak with a baked potato and grilled vegetables. All delicious.
I read an article on Becks Prime that said their burgers were voted best in the country. That was for their Houston location. Lucky for me there is a location in North Dallas. I have to say, great burgers and fries. Fresh ingredients and a massive burger. Tried the Bacon Cheese Burger and the Bill's Burger and made them combos. This location has a nice dog friendly patio facing Forest. Staff is friendly and menu options are extensive as well. Trying a steak next time.
I've only had truffle fries once before somewhere else, so I wanted to try these since they're so close to me. They were disappointing, no flavor, greasy and soggy. I wanted to try the blue cheese burger, but it looked big and I wasn't that hungry so I got the Cobb salad. The salad and shake were very good, and the guy working the drive thru was top notch with service. I may try again with the kiddie burger, but no more fries.
Great experience, friendly service and delicious food. We had the prime rib sandwich with fries, very tasty. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I thought the sandwich would've been even better on a different more substantial bread, toasted roll or something. Also my wife requested well done it was more like medium well. Overall great place and would recommend, will be going back.
The meat here has a heavily smoked flavor. No surprise, you smell it as you approach the place. Whether you like the food is likely to depend on whether you like this flavor. It's so strong that I wonder whether they are adding liquid smoke as well as grilling over wood. I enjoyed my cheeseburger. Bun was good and toppings were high quality and fresh. French fries were far more than I could eat, but not as good as the burger. The chocolate shake was good too. The restaurant was clean. Nothing special -- a notch or two above Burger King. This restaurant is an import from a Houston chain that was recently named a top 10 burger in the USA. Overall I was satisfied, but I won't be a regular.
Expensive burgers, but they're really good. Also, incredible salads. The fries are exceptional too.
This has become a neighborhood favorite of mine now for several years. The burgers are juicy and succulent. The drive through wait is reasonable. The inside feels cozy and not cramped. I always get great service at this place. I cannot however recommend the steak. I tried it once and was not impressed. It was a slim cut, tough to cut and didn't taste very good.
If you're in the mood for a hearty burger, this is one place to go! Both my son, and my mom LOVE this place... I have tried quite a few things on the menu, and it was all good. I like how you can get in, eat and on your way in not too long.
If these guys could translate the smell that surrounds their place of business into the flavor you get in your burger, I would eat there every other day. Pricey burgers, but servings are large. Kicka** crispy sweet potato fries. Takes a minute but fresh made hot food makes it worth the wait.
Food was delicious. But you pay restaurant prices for fast food service—the food is high quality and tastes better than fast food, but the prices are crazy. No meal deals. So you pay for the burger separate, $16, and the fries separate, $5. So I paid $21 for JUST ME, no drink! CRAY! Service was quick and the employees friendly. The inside wasn’t fancy. It was clean but nothing crazy. The floor was sticky, and I was very cold.
Chose Beck's for lunch after reading an article about flame broiled burger joints. Shroom burger was fantastic! A very messy and flavorful burger. Truffle parm fries don't have enough truffle taste to warrant the premium price. Seems the truffle flavor is locked in with the Parm cheese and didn't attach well to the fries. Most of the seasoning was at the bottom of the basket. They need a better way for the seasoning to attach to the fries. IMO you're better off with regular fries and salt and pepper then to your taste
Great experience! Was a little tentative because of the price, but the burger was solid. Patty customized to how rare you want it to be. Fast casual atmosphere. Got the Bubba burger which was good but definitely wish I got something with lettuce to balance out the salt and flavor haha. So I'll chalk that off to more me than them for now. My friend got the fries though and boy did I miss out. Very picturesque large fries wish I took a photo. Tasted good too. Definitely will get some next time. All in all not bad if a little $$ ($10+ for a burger). Will come back
They have the best salads and sweet potatoe fries! Sometimes I get steak, other times chicken.
So yeah, wow. Those hamburgers are great! I can't understand why they offer to undercook the hamburger patties though. Pink or red meat on steaks is fine and unless the ground the meat after cooking the steak it presents a risk I just don't feel comfortable with. Maybe someone else may explain what I am missing here. Now, a fully cooked burger from here? Woo. That is great. The mesquite flavor really comes through and enhances their patties. I feel having these fries they offer and not serving a dipping sauce does a disservice to the dish. Lastly, I expected a little bit of sweetness with my lemonade. I got lemon juice instead.
Here's the deal, if you're looking for a really good burger in fashionable North Dallas, and are willing to pay a lot for it, I really want to recommend this place, but there's something that really sits in my craw. If I have to stand at a counter to order a burger and fries for $25, how DARE you ask me for a tip? Please explain what service you have provided at the counter that deserves a tip. Taking my order?? Taking my money?? Pay your damn employees, and don't ask me to supplement pay of people who make more than server wages. I absolutely visit this place less than half as much as I would if they didn't have their hands in my pockets the whole time. Tip fatigue is real, and I expect its costing them more business than just me.
I’ve been coming to this location off & on for about 10 years. Looking around the dining room, clientele is primarily geriatric with unlimited money. For those of us not in that category, the restaurant is quite expensive for counter service. I get the Kirby Salad and a drink. That is just below 20 dollars, which is quite a bit for a salad and soda with no meat. Adding meat would make my meal 25+ dollars, which basically makes more sense to go to a sit-down restaurant at that point. Salad ingredients are solid, but nothing about the quality or portion seems to justify the price. Would also ask that they fix the men’s urinal. It’s extremely low to ground and seemed to not be flushing properly.
Client wanted to try this place out versus the normal go to spots. I was curious so happily agreed. This was definitely odd the beaten path of the normal places we go to but the atmosphere was really quaint and quite so made for easy conversation. They have a HUGE ribeye bake potato that two people got. It was huge and could feed two people just about. I got the bills burger it was good but it has just a scotch to much sauce on it for my taste. The fries are really on point and seasoned just right. The only bad part was the AC vent as dripping exactly where I was sitting and pants got wet, the staff didn’t seem to care when mentioned but I get it as not their issue to fix, but thought it was worth mentioning. Overall not a bad place, especially if you don’t sit under the ac vent 😊
Its very disappointing to post this but even tho the food and staff is great the place gets the customers cars broken into. I just got my car broken into and over $1200 cash and other bellowing were stolen. I just topped by to pickup a Togo order and pay, during those few minutes only my car got broken into. When asking the staff I found out that the establishment does not have any security cameras that can not assure the safety of their customers or employees. Apparently this is not the first time this has taken place at this restaurant and the perpetrators know about the lack of security cameras and that’s why this keeps on happening to the people that goes to this location customers and employees on Preston and forest LN in Dallas. My recommendation is to please get security. Now I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone in the area.
Paid $54 for a strip steak meal. Expected a really great-tasting steak. Cut of the steak was good, it was cooked well, but no seasoning other than the charred taste from the grill. And, the charred taste was very strongly burnt. Had to drown it in steak sauce to make it taste ok. It was like they desperately needed to clean the grill. Veggies had the same charred/burnt taste with no seasoning. Overall the meal wasn't horrible, but some seasoning on the food other than chargrill would have been nice for the price I paid. Over $125 after 2 meals and drinks, you expect to walk away extremely satisfied. It was just meh. Not worth the price. Next time I'll go to the expensive steakhouse down the road and get my money's worth.
I ordered online; 1 Chicken Cobb Salad & 1 Beef Cobb Salad; NO Blue Cheese on either. Tipped 15%… And what my husband picked up and brought home was unappealing! He usually doesn’t say much about appearance of food. But this was definitely unappealing! The lettuce were extremely large pieces, the avocado were cut into large chunks as well as the eggs. And the salad looked as though it was prepared on a counter and scraped into the bowls. I understand the salads were not going to look like the picture and traveling from restaurant to home would change the appearance, but this unacceptable!
Update: My husband and I had the worst burgers & fries today. Chili burger without the real flavor of the chili. Hamburger patties were much smaller with less flavor than past visits. And the fries have changed too. Today's meal was the worst we have ever had here. Nothing tasted fresh. This use to be our favorite burger joint. The photo below is when the food was good.
I paid $25 for a chicken sandwich, drink and fries. I’m familiar with Becks Prime, it was one of my favorite places to visit, on Westheimer, in Houston, under the oak tree. In Houston, you got a huge juicy chicken breast that was seasoned to perfection… Many times, before I knew it, I ate the chicken on its own because it was SO so delicious. Unfortunately, it’s DALLAS counterpart has fallen far short of glory days. The bread was crumbly and dry, hardly any flavor everything was wilted, and the chicken breast was tiny hard and tasteless. It seem to me like they reheated some thing that they got out of the freezer. I could have gotten a better chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A, or even sonic. And I really hate those places. I was charged three dollars for what would seem a small size drink. The fries were pretty soggy and oily, but they tasted good. I really enjoy supporting local businesses… But also don’t want people to waste their time, like I did.
Ordered 3 burgers. 2 medium, 1 well done. All were well done. Why even ask for the temperature? One was a cheeseburger…they forgot the cheese. This place is mid. Only standing because of old legacy clients and millennials with nostalgia. Place it anywhere in Dallas as a brand new place it would collapse.
